Fantastic experience: My niece was the patient, Deborah Oliver. She is special needs and everyone there was very nice and helpful. Dr. Neeley was great with her and removed the tooth with no issues. I would recommend ArkLaTex Oral Surgery to anyone.

They also followed up with you afterwards to make sure you're okay and that you're feeling fine. I would definitely recommend. My daughter had gone there a few months prior as well and had a great experience. She had her wisdom teeth taken out and had minimal soreness and she said if there are any future visits she would definitely go back there!!

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough good things about this office and the care I received. I had been dealing with severe tooth pain for quite some time. After seeing an emergency dentist, I was told the tooth could not be extracted there due to the complexity of the roots and their proximity to my sinus cavity. I was referred to an oral surgeon, but most offices could not see me for nearly a week just for a consultation. When I called this office, they listened to my concerns and understood the level of pain I was experiencing. They told me that if I could come right away, they would work me in to evaluate the situation. While they did not rush into treatment without properly assessing the risks, they also recognized the urgency of my condition and scheduled my extraction within 24 hours. From start to finish, the entire process was exceptional. The staff was compassionate, professional, and genuinely concerned about my comfort. Every step was explained thoroughly, and I felt well informed and confident in the treatment plan. The extraction was performed under anesthesia without complications, my medications were ready when I needed them, and I was able to return home the same day. What impressed me most was the level of care beyond the procedure itself. I received clear post-operative instructions, and when I had a question the following morning, someone took the time to speak with me and address my concerns. That level of accessibility and follow-up meant a lot. For the first time in days, I felt relief. Not only because the tooth was removed, but because I finally felt heard, understood, and cared for. This office went above and beyond what I would consider excellent patient care. I am incredibly grateful to the entire team and would highly recommend them to anyone needing oral surgery.

Fantastic experience: Whoever uses “it’s as bad as pulling teeth” as an expression hasn’t ever been to ArkLaTex Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery! The entire process and procedure was as smooth, straightforward, and painless as could be. Dr Banker & his staff are very thorough in explaining options. The procedure was quick and easy. Of course there’s a little discomfort but they do their best to minimize it and make sure you are doing well afterwards. I hope I don’t have a reason to go back, but if I do I know I’ll be in excellent hands!

Fantastic experience: I went here to get both my bottom wisdom teeth removed and it went even better than I thought it would. They take good care of the people like me who have a fear of being awake during procedures.

Fantastic experience: I had a tooth that was crowned at one time and the crown came off and when it did, it broke about half the tooth off down below the gum line. I chose to have the tooth pulled rather than an Implant. I was put to sleep and Dr. Neeley extracted the tooth. I woke up and he said everything went smooth. Never really felt a bit of pain. It was very smooth from beginning to end. I highly recommend ArkLaTex Oral Surgery.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Lustig pulled a tooth for me in April 2026. Dr. Lustig has got to be the Best oral surgeon there could be! First, he gave me injections near the tooth to numb the area, and they were almost painless. After the surgery, I had a short "sensation" for a few seconds, but it wasn't painfull. My husband brought me home, and I expected pain, but I never hurt from the tooth being pulled. I stayed up the rest of the day! I never needed anything for pain, so I rate the pain a zero (0). I don't know how he did that, but he did, and I am appreciative and thankful that he was recommended to me. Tell everyone you know that his staff in Bossier City, where I had my consultation, and in Shreveport, where I had my surgery, are the Best in Every Category, and Dr. Lustig is as Great as an oral surgeon Could Be!

Negative experience: This location provides misleading and inconsistent information. We were initially told over the phone that our cost with insurance would be $75, but when we arrived, we were told it was actually $150. The receptionist seemed unfamiliar with basic details and was unable to give clear answers. They also push for consultations but avoid disclosing important pricing and visit information upfront, which ends up wasting your time. Overall, very poor communication and transparency.

Fantastic experience: 10000/10 !!!!! I was so scared to get my wisdom teeth out & boy it was a breeze!! My recovery has been nothing but amazing and i have absolutely 0 complaints. Of course the staff was A1! I would recommend this place to anyone & everyone

Fantastic experience: So I’ll start out with I have Graves’ disease that’s a little crazy right now after battling the flu. I was absolutely terrified because of my heart rate and blood pressure to have my tooth extracted under iv sedation this morning, but everything came out great. Lol I will not lie I suffer from horrible anxiety and panic attacks that can be so embarrassing, but the staff was great and handled it well with no rudeness whatsoever (which I have dealt with in the past at other places). My memory is horrible and I really wish I could remember her name, but to the assistant or nurse who held my hand as I dealt with my anxiety after, thank you so very much! I know I was a mess and you handled it like a rock star. The other staff equally amazing, but holding a strangers hand as they panic and calming them down just lets me know you’re a good human.

The team was so quick—my surgery was over in less than 45 minutes! I was extremely anxious beforehand about going under, but they made me feel totally at ease. When I woke up, I felt normal, went home, took a nap, and had zero swelling over the next week. I was never in any pain, only taking ibuprofen. My teeth have healed beautifully with no complications at all. If you're nervous about wisdom tooth removal, trust this team—he is amazing! Highly recommend!!!

Fantastic experience: This place is absolutely phenomenal! I was in so much pain from my crappy wisdom teeth and within days two were removed and had a coronectomy performed on the bottom two. Dr. Lustig is absolutely wonderful! Definitely can tell he was trained at LSU (where you see any and everything) and has perfected those skills impeccably! On day 3 and still no pain! Jennifer, in the front office, is heaven sent! She made some adjustments and got me in sooner due to my pain. I was so nervous and had so much anxiety on the day of surgery that one of his staff members placed her hand on my shoulder as comfort and another told me about her weekend as I drifted off to sleep. Fantastic experience: Went to a different dentist and oral surgeon to have teeth pulled and implants placed. Was advised I had thrush when teeth were pulled. Was treated for thrush which was miss diagnosed, turned out to be oral cancer. Teeth placed on hold until cancer treatments completed. Went back to oral surgeon who advised the implants couldn’t be done due to the cancer in which they were paid up front for the procedures. Went to Arklatex Oral Surgery for a consultation with Dr. Ducote. Dr. Ducote and their staff bent over backwards to help me and advised the implants could be placed and explained the entire process. I had the bone shaved and implants placed in the lower jaw on 12-3-24. Go back for post surgery follow up 12-10-24 and to schedule the surgery on my upper jaw. Have been waiting on teeth for a year and finally able to have them done thanks to Dr. Ducote, new dentist Dr. Stewart, and their excellent staff at Arklatex Oral Surgery. Everyone makes you feel very comfortable prior to, during, and after surgery. Best experience I’ve had with dentist and oral surgeon by far! I will definitely recommend Arklatex Oral Surgery to anyone needing oral surgery, they’re the best!!!

Fantastic experience: Man.i go in for a wisdom tooth extraction. Super nervous. But I've never had an experience like this before. I walk in, they have my room ready. No wait time. Dr comes in, puts in an IV, I remember talking and within 5 seconds, I'm OUT. I wake up, they say it's over and was only 30 mins! They wheel me out to my driver and give me a goodie bag with all the necessities. They give you a brochure showing what to do. What to expect. All the things. 10/10. I hope I never need another oral surgery in the future, but if I do. I'm going here.
