Negative experience: I took my elderly mother to an appointment and she was treated horribly by the dental hygienist. At every step, she didn't want to help and had a bad attitude and treated her like she was bothering her by being there. She treated her like she was an idiot for not knowing exactly what to do when she got there, but it's her job to tell her that. I'm so embarrassed at how they treat the elderly and im shocked that anyone would think it's OKto treat another human like this, especially our elders. The receptionist was the only one that was nice to her.

Negative experience: I had an appointment this morning to see about getting new dentures and after waiting for an hour they finally call my name and on the way to the room she asked me if I have my dentures in which no one told me not to and then she told me to take them out and she says do you have glue in well yes I do oh Lord she says you're going to have to take them out and gave me a little paper towel well I am going to need more than that she was so rude I walked out I don't want people like that taking care of my teeth she should have more compassion for people I will never go back to that one and it's the one on Youree Dr in Shreveport

Negative experience: I was having ZERO tooth pain they charged me nd my insurance for 4 filling and in February they had me get 3 fillings redone. They then at the appointment tried to tell me I needed a root canal, again I was experiencing zero tooth pain, but only did the fillings. This was in February 2026. It’s now May 2026 and I kid you not while drinking water the tooth filling came out and i literally almost swallowed it. Now while away and on vacation I have to try and find a dentist willing to fix their ignorant mistake. If i could rate zero stars I would. Run before they take your money. They don’t care bout you only want to burn a hole in your wallet

From the first appointment to now my third, I’ve felt taken care of, heard/seen, and have been given clear and concise instructions on how to care for my teeth and general oral health. Negative experience: I have no complaints about the employees, very clean place however their tactics to provide service gets a one star. If a patient book an appointment for a certain service that’s not available, it is illegal and unprofessional for you to switch the requested service without informing the patient. Sitting in the chair to get one thing but not knowing the staff had other plans is ridiculous. This is why the elders refuses to go to the Doctor/Dentist for routine care.

Fantastic experience: I just left Aspen dental and I was really impressed by them. Athena called me back and did all my X-rays and a scan of my teeth. She was very nice and explained everything so well. Next I saw the hygienist Denisa who went over all my x rays and looked and all my teeth and gums and came up with a treatment plan to get my gums back on track. She also made some recommendations of things I could do as home to help. Next I saw Dr Ramkelawan and she looked over everything and did a through exam on all my teeth and gums as well and explained all the problems and what we could do to resolve them. I need a lot of work done but I know I am in good hands with this staff. Everyone was so nice and helpful, I haven’t been to the dentist in a while and was very nervous but they definitely made me feel better.

Positive experience: I had a very good experience with them,, so far people in the office are very friendly and polite and very patient about my situation especially the Girl that was doing the mold of my mouth I know I caused a lot of problems but I hadn’t had but one set of dentures they made them and I put them in and didn’t have any problems later I saw they were uneven but it was too late I wanted these to be comfortable and look good to I was getting frustrated but they finally got them right I’m very happy with the results they are perfect thank so very much

Negative experience: Staff was rough with the equipment used for X-rays, unfriendly, and the office was clean but equipment looked old. The color x-ray wand hurt my teeth and gums. Staff was unfriendly and the wait was entirely too long.

Negative experience: Couldn’t help me a problem that literally ten minute to fix. They could have said on phone we cannot fix denture if we didn’t make them.

Negative experience: I scheduled a root canal procedure with thier scheduler. I arrived to the Aspen office after a 1 hour and 40 minute drive. They started taking xrays of my entire mouth.I kept asking why was all this necessary for one tooth, someone started listening to me and thry stopped. Then they tell me they only do root canals once a month and that this month was past and next month was booked so the end of May was available. I can't wait 2 months for a root canal. They did give me a referral letter. Thanks Aspen for nothing. Wasting my time and gas. And I bet they still bill my insurance for something I didn't ask for.

Fantastic experience: My experience at Aspen Dental was overall positive, and I wanted to share for anyone considering going there. From the moment I walked in, the front desk staff was friendly and welcoming which set the tone for my visit. The waiting time was short and I appreciated that they kept me informed. During my consultation, the dental team was professional, patient, and thoroughly. Dental team explained my treatment plan, including cleaning, fillings, and tooth replacement made sure I understood what was needed. One thing I really liked was clean environment, modern equipment, kind staff, flexible scheduling.

Negative experience: Terrible communication. I was told over the phone that we could come in at 11:30am. We get there and are told no walk in appointments but the window next to the front door says WALK INS? COME ON IN. I don't know why we were turned away but the experience was very upsetting to say the least.

Negative experience: Ripp off. Pulled my bottom teeth.and whent across the rode and paid half the price on my upper, pulled and bridge at halve the price. When I asked why eCSTRaction was so high .they said he was a surgeon. Why signed still paying and PISSED!

Negative experience: I was in pain did a walk in and got turned away told that they aren’t seeing any new patients today . Disappointing especially since the sight says walk ins welcomed.

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit at Aspen on Youree Drive . Doctors Cynthia and DaNasia ( hygienist ) were very informative. Both were professional , check in was quick and convenient. The attention and information received would make any comfortable . The clinic was clean , ambiance, quiet , and ell kept . Great staff ! Dentists aren’t always great visits however they made this visit worth it front he knowledge to the schedule definitely the service. I’ll be scheduling my children next .

Fantastic experience: The care was great from start to finish. The receptionist was welcoming and professional, making check-in easy. The X-ray technician was gentle and explained everything clearly. The hygienist did an excellent job with my cleaning and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. The dentist was thorough during the exam and assessment and took the time to explain my dental health and next steps. The business manager was also very helpful and clear when discussing plans and billing. Overall, it was a positive, well-coordinated experience, and I truly felt cared for. I would highly recommend this office.

Negative experience: I will never go back to an Aspen again. The staff are awesome, everything else is so bad. Went into the office. Got a cleaning, check up and I was recommended some procedures. I agreed and wanted the quote. The lady gave me a quote for 504.40. I agreed and paid it on the spot. Procedure was completed and I left. I look at my checking account and 555.00 was charged, then a few days later I get a bill for 174.60. She specifically called insurance when I was there and they gave me the quote to complete the procedure after insurance paid the amount they pay. So I call the invoice questions number 3 times. It’s a gauntlet and a lot of waiting and finally you talk to someone and they ask for your cell number and reason, they put you on hold then after a few minutes, you are hung up on. You cannot get a hold of the office. This is theft and very disappointing. If you go here, and you need care and they give you a quote, you will be charged more and you will get more invoices. Be very cautious of going to Aspen. I will never return and I’m sure I’ll never be called, even though they ask for your number…..why, because you’re talking to someone in Pakistan or Philippines. Terrible. Too bad…..I like the service but never again.

Negative experience: I made an appt to get a tooth pulled and get info on an implant. They took X-rays, measured gum recession, recommended crown replacement. I explained that I have a regular dentist in Natchitoches, but he doesn’t perform the two services I went in for. I complained and the hygenist returned with the office manager. She said they bill for a comprehensive exam. The hygenist commented after she left , that they should be billing for a limited exam. After an hour and 45 minutes and more X-rays,the dentist told me I needed to see an oral surgeon. I indicated on my intake info the two reasons I was there. She could have told me that 15 minutes into the visit.

Fantastic experience: I have always been petrified of going to the dentist. The anxiety I get is absolutely ridiculous and I probably would not have made this appt if not for some gum pain that started this past Sunday around a loose tooth. That being said, although I was still very nervous and emotional the staff was so understanding and compassionate. They all listened and responded so kindly. They explained everything thoroughly throughout the entire visit from x-rays, exam, hygiene care procedure and cost. I am glad I chose them. Meeting with my DA, Linsey, was a pleasure she helped me prepare for my visit with the dentist, Dr. Cynthia Ramkelawan. Both are extremely knowledgeable about my situation, a fractured tooth. This exam was in detail, not rushed. Afterwards, I visited Ms. Annetra Barnes, office manager, who provided consultation regarding an affordable dental care plan based on my income. Her knowledge of the dental care process and expenses put me at ease. My overall experience was extremely pleasant. Cost for my care straight forward.
