I love that she knows functional dentist type stuff, supports things like nano hydroxyapatite toothpaste, and looks at the whole system including even things like airways (not just the surface of the teeth). And she communicate so well; it's easy to understand what she's explaining. Yay, happy dance :D

My teeth had her work cut out for her, but she did a great job. Dr. Pitarra was extremely helpful and was able to answer all of my questions, I highly recommend this dental office. Fantastic experience: I absolutely hate needles and dental pain, so going to the dentist is usually very stressful for me. This office completely changed that. The dentist took their time, checked in constantly, and made sure I was comfortable before starting anything. I never felt rushed or dismissed, and the staff was incredibly kind. If you’re nervous or scared of pain, this is the place to go.

Negative experience: The staff was great and I loved Dr. Pitarra. However, her practice doesn't accept my insurance (Medicare). So, one star from me; my words of praise will have to do.

Fantastic experience: 5 stars just doesn’t seem like enough. I came to Dr. Pitarra after years of not seeing a dentist because of a couple traumatic experiences elsewhere. Everyone in the office from the front desk staff to the hygienists to both doctors, were so incredibly kind, patient, and gentle. They spoke to me on a human level and just met me where I was at. They’ve healed my teeth/gums and dental anxiety!

She was so great with my son by calming explaining what would happen and what he should expect, treating him like he is his a person and not just a child. He needed that! At the same time, when talking with myself and my husband, she was compassionate, knowledgeable and truly cared for my son’s health and well being. I wanted to get a second opinion on an extraction diagnosis from another dental office, and I’m so glad I did. The entire visit was so comforting and knowledgeable, and Dr. Pitarra and her staff are just so kind and compassionate. She really takes her time to listen to your concerns and makes sure you understand what’s going on. It’s like family here. 1000/10!

Fantastic experience: Such a great experience. Dr. Pitarra is one of the best holistic dentist in Corpus Christi. She was very attentive and really made us feel more comfortable in understanding what was causing the problem. They used a 3D xray to look more in depth. We had been to other professionals and they were more interested in just treating the problem instead of trying to treat and fix the problems. We are so happy to have found this practice.

Fantastic experience: DDS Sarah has been taking care of my teeth and all my dental needs for the past few years. My wife also goes to her along with several people that I have recommended. I usually don't recommend Doctors or Dentist but with DDS Sarah it is easy. She truly cares about her patients. She has a wonderful staff from the Hygienist to the Receptionist and everyone in her office is friendly and polite. I hope I never have to find another Dentist, because I don't believe there is any out there that does as well as DDS Sarah. She is "The Best of the Best" not only in Corpus, but in the area. She and her staff are great for the entire family from young to old.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Pitarra and all her staff definitely deserve the 5.0 rating they have! I will forever highly recommend this office. After going in still in pain from having a tooth pulled at another office they told me the root was not pulled out. They fixed the cause of my pain and did an amazing job extracting my tooth & removing the root left from another dentist. Dr. Pitarra took her time with the extraction and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. They gave me a stress ball and a blanket too I won't be going anywhere else for any dental work unless absolutely necessary

Fantastic experience: We moved from San Antonio and visited several dentist in Corpus before finding Dr. Pitarra and her staff. I speak for my entire family when I say “ we have found our dentist”. Professional, compassionate, organized, clean and classy are just a few of words that come to mind when it comes to Dr. Pitarra and staff. What has impressed me most is that when I needed to find a dentist for my mom with dementia, they made that happen and are currently working on a plan to try and help her. It is a special circumstance that will take special accommodations and I know they will do their best to help, that is priceless and hard to find.
