Negative experience: No problem with dentist and staff. But the folks at the front desk, wow. I paid half of their estimated cost, knowing my insurance would pay other half. Over next few visits to complete procedure, they harassed me for more money. I kept telling them to put it through my insurance, then I'll pay what they don't. Then they lied and said it was denied. They hadn't even sent it in. It was almost impossible to talk to who did the billing. Finally they billed the insurance. Now they owe me money back. But yet again I had to complain to get a reimbursement. How they were chosen "Community Choice Award " winner is beyond me. Avoid this place! ****** I received a reply from someone from Apple Dental saying they submitted insurance claims as a courtesy to patients. But they did submitted a claim for the evaluation part of my procedure but they didn't submit the claim for the actual procedure. Instead I was told my claim was denied by the receptionist and was continually harassed by her for payment. I also want to clarify it was only one certain receptionist that was discourteous to me. My requested to talk to someone to resolve the issue only fell on deaf ears. After weeks of back and forth arguing they submited the procedure portion of the claim to my insurance company and the issue was finally resolved. Dr. Barwise was great, but having a expensive dental procedure is stressful enough and I don't appreciate the added stress of being harassed for money and being told over and over that the claim was denied when it hadn't even been submitted to the insurance company. I will not recommend them to anybody.

Negative experience: Truly disappointing. I visited Apple dental several times within very short period of time with 1 issue - filling keep falling off my tooth. Last week happened again. That’s the 3rd time. I called on Friday Apr24, made an appointment for Wednesday Apr29. But I asked the lady to double check if I have to pay for it since I don’t have insurance anymore or it still covered with what I paid before, I mean that’s not my fault it’s keep falling off, right?! Anyways, no one called me on Monday. On Tuesday another lady called me to confirm my app for Wednesday and I explained again that I need to verify payments first and she said she will call me back. Guess what, no one called me back. And my app for Wednesday was suppose to be at 9am, no one called me as well. I don’t mind paying for dental service, I just prefer it to be fair and to pay for things which last longer than 1 week. Will go somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: I changed dentists last month and tried Apple Dental Center for the first time. I was impressed with how nice the office is. It's large, has a relaxed atmosphere. The hygienist operatories are seperated from Dentist operatories. They put you at ease. My dental hygienist was gentle and thorough. My late wife was my registered dental hygienist for 32 years. I know how a good dental office runs. This one of the best dental offices in CC. The dentist assigned to me was Dr. Britt Barwise. I also know dentists well. Dr. Barwise was knowledgeable and thorough. Being my first exam with him, he easily identified all of my previous work. He has a very nice demeanor and listens to your concerns. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with the services I received. Not that I look forward to going to the dentist at all, but when I have to go again I know where I will be returning to, Apple Dental Center.

Negative experience: Not affordable at all. 190$ for xray and diagnosis not including cleaning is another 100$+ depending if it’s a deep clean or not.

Positive experience: I have the VA insurance and I think the main issue is the waiting... I'm waiting for over 30 to 60 minutes than normal. I don't think this long of a wait is normal...

Negative experience: I see the other reviews and they're so positive. I wish I had the same experience. Reception was wonderful as was the Dentist. The lowest point of the visit hands down came from the x-ray tech. The lack of professionalism was so disheartening. So much so, I asked her if she was ok. Then I apologized if I said or did something to upset her. I can't imagine having had upset her from point A to point B. Maybe she was mad about something else, maybe it had nothing to do with me. Nevertheless I didn't deserve that.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Apple Dental for more than 20 years. I am fortunate to have good teeth and they have helped keep them healthy. I started going to them because of the Saturday hours and have continued because they are professional, quick, and reasonably priced.

Negative experience: Called 4 times in one week to confirm appointment and each time was put on hold for10 minute so I hung up.

Fantastic experience: Super nice staff and doctor, made me feel so comfortable during my visit. Also very affordable!

Negative experience: The front staff as well as all other clinical staff uphold the office creating a professional and friendly environment. However it is unfortunate that the dentist demonstrated unprofessionalism not only in his dental practice but also in his conduct as a person. Based on my experience, I would not recommend them to anyone unfortunately."

Fantastic experience: The sweet ladies at the front desk they are just the most kind hearted people and made me feel welcomed. I walked in completely missing my two front teeth and I left the next appointment with a brand new smile! The ladies up front hyped me up and made me feel good about myself when I left that day . Negative experience: Ive experienced poor communication about my diagnosis. Had to ask a few diff techs to finally found out. The doctor never told me at all. This my third or 4th visit and they were 35 minutes behind. Last time was 20 minutes and the time before was around the same time. They are not mindful of your schedule so if u have a tight schedule is dont recommend. I am with the VA insurance and I feel they over charge for their work. Wasnt happy with my bridge either. Im actually sitting in the chair now and been sitting here for 20 minutes waiting for the dentist. Ridiculous too be honest. I don't recommend.

Negative experience: Called to get prices and answers to a few questions. The lady that answered wouldn't even let me finish a sentence before interrupting asking for my DOB. I stated that I needed some info before I want to schedule anything, but again before I could finish saying that she interrupted me again. No respect for customers. Interrupted continously as though I was talking to a recording. I'm a potential customer, and I have questions. If you can't show some respect and listen then I have no desire to be one of your patients. Would give a big fat 0 if I could!

Fantastic experience: First time here. I had a crown prep with deep cleaning, number check, xrays, 4 hours. Service is friendly, just for me in having all this in the same day is too long. I was hungry for sure, since I didn't eat before. Besides that, I appreciated the on call status to get me in ASAP to get the impression for my crown, along with the other extras. Friendly, professional, courteous, kind, highly recommended. My parents have been seen here for many years and enjoy the quality services provided by the Apple Dental Staff.

Positive experience: The Doctor was good but the hygienist was okay (just a little patronizing...it may be how she deals with fidgety patients. I let it roll off since my mouth was in her hands :) Overall the visit was good.

Check in is great as they recognize me as I come thru the door and tell me they have me checked in. The profeesionalism by the staff and dentist is of the best quality I've ever seen. But I wasn’t gone long because the care and service I received at my approved insurance dental office was not good. I wanted to be taken care of and the staff and doctors at Apple did a great job taking care of me. So I returned to Apple for my next cleaning and paid out of pocket to be seen there.
