Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough good things about Bright Now Dental. The entire staff is incredibly kind, gentle, and thorough. From the moment you walk in, they consistently make sure you are comfortable and at ease. If they happen to be running a few minutes behind, they actually apologize and value your time, which is so rare.What I appreciate most is their honesty. They never try to oversell or charge for things you don't need. You can tell the team genuinely cares about your health, taking their time to do a great job and keeping things moving efficiently without ever making you feel rushed. Highly recommend this practice!

Fantastic experience: My mother has dementia and it can be difficult getting her into yhe car to go anywhere. We arrived an hour early for her appointment and they were do kind and understanding. Got her back fairly quickly. The doctor and dental assistant were very understanding and made the fairest decision for her treatment. I couldn't be happier. Thank you.

Negative experience: WOW! At 64 years old, I definitely have been to plenty dentists. This office is where I MUST GO based on my insurance. First large dental chain I've been to, everything was about as bad as it gets. First, x-rays for some reason not explained they had to take two sets, as you all know the cardboard are uncomfortable to say the least. Nothing said just done again. **Then I get a quick visit from the dentist taking a quick look, isn't he supposed to come at the very end after the hygienist?** Second, my teeth were polished before getting cleaned, never had that happen first. The young person had her hair hanging into my mouth, her hair was touching her gloves throughout. In the past polishing is the last thing done after the hygienist does their cleaning. Hence polish. Third, the hygienist should be the the "hygienist Nazi", yanking my mouth open like I had a steel trap, ended with a small cut inside my mouth and a sore neck being yanked hard in all directions pulling my checks from my teeth, like they were super glued together. BTW: the scheduling person came by to talk about schedule issues with the hygienist while my mouth was being tortured and they debated schedule issues..holy hell! 1 star was for an attentive front desk. Fast food dentistry at its worst! I am hoping my insurance will allow me to go elsewhere..

Negative experience: I would not recommend this dentist office in Olympia. They will not see you if you decline X-rays and they are completely rude. It is not a kid friendly dentist office at all. If you’re looking to take your children here, I would recommend somewhere else. The wait times to get seen by the dentist and get taken back to the chair are unacceptable. The manager is extremely rude if you bring up any concerns. The experience at this dentist is as if it is government run. Terrible place to go.

Fantastic experience: i’ve been here twice, once for just radiographs and a consultation and another time for wisdom tooth removal. the team is so sweet, especially the front desk. they make my dental anxiety a lot better by being so understanding and sympathetic. i do want to add that the dental surgery team that came to take out all 4 of my wisdom teeth were also so professional and explained everything to me so well. thank you guys so much for making my dental experience recently so well. i really appreciate everyone here for making me feel comfortable.

Fantastic experience: Went in for second opinion and ultimate root canal. I was extremely anxious for this procedure as I’ve never had one and have heard stories about how awful and painful they were. I also elected to have 2 older fillings removed and redone same day, same side. The process was simple. I felt nothing for the root canal outside of the extra numbing I needed (had higher pain from irritated root). Both dentists were incredibly patient with me. The hygienist was very nice, spoke clearly and calmly. Overall a pretty simple and pain free experience. A temporary crown was placed and molding taken for the permanent to place in a few weeks. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I have not had an established dental clinic in five years. I was nervous to establish a new provider/clinic. I have recent trauma to my front teeth after an accident, as well. The receptionist (Oksana), the dental assistant (Ashlyn), dental hygienist (Brittny), and my new dentist (Dr. Kim), were incredibly kind and amazing! I had to wait a little bit (not long at all) to see if the hygienist could fit me in, but that’s expected with a good facility like this. They listened to all of my history, concerns, curious mind, and my over talking. I am so grateful for this new establishment of mine. They were informative and kind, even with my abundance of questions. There was no feeling of rushing me, not being a human, trying to gouge my pockets, or pushing financial agendas. They listen to my concerns and only gave their opinion and suggestions. I am so grateful!

They always try to meet my needs when it comes to scheduling an appointment. In addition, they always try to get me in and out while doing a quality job while providing a friendly experience.

Fantastic experience: The staff are very friendly and quick to get you in to your appointment. However, if you want your teeth cleaned, you will have to wait several months.

Positive experience: The experience started off okay but ended in disappointment. The front desk receptionists didn’t seem happy and gave off an unfriendly vibe, maybe they don’t enjoy working Fridays. Everything seemed to go smoothly until the end. The nurse was knowledgeable but very stern. It felt like questions weren’t welcome. When we tried to ask, we were told, rather abruptly, to just listen and read the instructions, as everything was supposedly in the bag. We assumed my son’s extracted wisdom teeth were included, but they weren’t. When he woke up from sedation and asked for them, I reassured him they were probably in the bag. They weren’t. I called the office within 10 minutes of leaving, but the receptionist said the teeth had already been discarded in the biohazard and couldn’t be retrieved. The biggest disappointment was that we were never told we had to ask to keep the teeth. We were never given the option. We assumed, as is common practice, that the teeth would be returned to the patient as a keepsake. But not at this location. That lack of communication really broke our hearts and left us with no desire to return. Aside from that, the process was simple and they were on time.

Fantastic experience: I am a retired Hygienist of 40 years. I have medicare and needed a new Dentist. I was referred by my brother. I had the best experience. The assistant was gentle and kind. Dr Kim was gentle very thorough. The Hygienist was very kind and dis a great job cleaning my teeth. Very gentle and friendly. I highly recommend this office for your dental needs.

Negative experience: I got my bill. It said my dental insurance denied and the. I call my insurance company to check this claim. They told me the insurance didn’t deny, just need the more information from bright now dental provider and left voice mail for them!! I called bright now dental over 20 times directly but no one answered. If you see this message , please call me back! ! ! They don’t even contact insurance company first when the claim deny, and didn’t try how to solve it!

Fantastic experience: Great dentist. I have had 4 separate crowns done. Just had one Monday. I have complete confidence in the dentist. They even got me in 15 min early during my last visit.

Fantastic experience: Brittany cleaned my teeth like a pro. She's really good at scratching my teeth , super cool, and knows how to keep the patient comfortable, which is becoming more rare these days. The front desk is fun, accommodating, and interactive, and Dr. Kim has proven to me more than once that he is an "A" player in dentistry. They really have done a great job with hiring people at this place.

Negative experience: Came to get a new filling because the old one fell out. Did an x-ray. Waited for the doctor. He says you need to remove the old tooth. I say I need a filling in another tooth, he didn't even look at it. You need to clean your front teeth. I say I need a new filling in this tooth. He didn't even look at it. The devil wasted his time on this clinic. Nothing personal, just business.

Positive experience: I had such a good experience with my surgeon, the dental assistant was so sweet and reassuring honestly my procedure was a 10/10. What was not a 10/10 was the treatment received from the front desk staff. When I called day of my surgery just to double check I had all my pre surgical procedures in place and when I asked this on the phone her response was “didn’t I tell you yesterday” Second was when I was being wheeled out half conscious, I’d never been put under for anything before this. I was crying when I woke up because I didn’t know what was happening and one of these women proceeded to say “you can’t cry we have other people waiting” I should’ve just started scream crying in her face for that part. Third. I call in today because I think I may have dislodged something and it’s quite scary, the after procedure paper at the bottom says to call during business hours instead of emailing in order to get a faster response, I call only for her to say “did you even read the paper we gave you, at the bottom it gives an email just send an email.” I’m sorry but if the 3 of you dislike your job so much you need to make it everyone else’s problem you should find a different career choice, you are the face of your company, the first interaction, and you have put the worst stain on the front of Bright Now! Dental. Other than that I would come for the surgeons and prices, just avoid the front desk.

Negative experience: I went here two or three times for the regular dental cleaning every 6 months. Unfortunately, my insurance (provided by the local school district) assigned me to Bright Now! without any other options. All of my visits were similar: there is a dental tech that is for sure just out of school, or maybe even still in school, based off of their skill level. They are responsible for prepping your teeth and leaving the used floss thrown on the table next to you, so you can have something to look at while you wait awhile for the ONE AND ONLY dental hygienist on staff to show up. The hygienist is clearly overworked and the sense of strain on her being the only one there, along with one doctor, can be both seen and felt by the patient. That was my experience, at least. Also, the exam/cleaning rooms are dirty: from the chipped painted walls to the patient’s exam chairs, carpet, etc.

Negative experience: Unfortunately would not recommend this business chain. The people are polite, but a tactful kind of polite. Had oral surgery done, was told I’d be sedated (didn’t say what kind) but was awake. Heard and felt everything being done. Surgeon cut my lip open, had to be stitched. Then He was nowhere to be found afterwards. At the follow up, He said “everyone reacts differently to the sedation”, and He blamed the cut lip on the dental tools. Never apologized. Also didn’t realize this business condones the lifestyle of the LGTBQI+ Community.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Jung Kim and his assistant, Sara, provided exceptional care today, performing a bridge replacement and a new tooth implant—my first implant procedure. The procedure was remarkably painless, and their attentiveness to my comfort and pain management was consistently outstanding. I wholeheartedly recommend both Dr. Kim and Sara; their skill and professionalism made for a positive experience, especially given my pre-existing dental anxiety. Dr. Kim is my preferred dentist, and I have expressed my intention to seek his services regardless of location. While writing my review for Dr. Kim and Sarah, I must commend the outstanding office staff. Their helpfulness, warm smiles, and welcoming nature made my experience truly wonderful. It's a fantastic place for dental work.

Negative experience: Do not recommend coming here for braces!!! Started my treatment with someone and half way through they got a whole new orthodontist. He told me my braces were coming off even though I still had a year left, I told him I wasn’t comfortable with that and didn’t think they were ready and he assured me that they were and it would be fine. I wear my retainers every single night. My plastic ones broke so I had to wear the metal ones which didn’t even fit properly. My teeth are crooked again. I went in and they “tightened” the retainers to fit and said to wear them all day and night for a month. It’s been 1.5 months and my teeth are getting WORSE. Spent a lot of money for nothing. I’m going to have to get Invisalign or braces again in the future. Such a shame because the office ladies are so sweet and helpful. And I do really like the general dentist.

Fantastic experience: I've been seeing these folks for several years now and I'm very pleased. They' take good care of all of our family members. Dr. Kim is a great doctor! He is also personable and genuinely interested in his patients' dental health. Brittney, the hygienist, is, I think, the best oral hygienist who's ever worked on my teeth. She's thorough, gives great tips, and it is enthusiastic about her job. I highly recommend these guys!

Negative experience: I would not even give this dental office one star because of what they did to me! First of all I am disabled, and over 55. Went for regular dental procedures, but my cost out of pocket was getting into the many thousands! Called my insurance company and they proceeded to inform me that most of the work I received was covered, so he was getting double paid! Hope the feel good about what they are doing to their customers!

Negative experience: Warning: they will make you come in to do X-rays then make you come in an additional day to clean your teeth. You will need to take 2 days off of work where most places do it all in one appt. They only have one dental hygienist for the entire office.

Positive experience: Pros: very quick and efficient. They walk you through the pricing and offer assistance. Cons: They don’t take cash. Also, pretty pushy, was pushing to have my 2nd wisdom tooth pulled even when I said I wasn’t ready. The pushing finally stopped after I said I didn’t have a job. Also, the Dr didn’t tell me when he was numbing me so the instant pain was not cool…

Positive experience: Surgery went as planned. It would have been nice to get a reminder a few days before about what as t can't be eaten/drank before surgery. All post op care world have been written down instead of only communicated verbally

Fantastic experience: The Maple Valley Staff, both front and back office, are superb and amazkng. If i could, I would give one star to reflect the completely dysfunctional way the after hour emergency calls are handled. 5.5 hous to get a response. Though I did get help, that is too long.

Positive experience: Everything thing went well. The front office staff is amazing and very caring. The specialist I went to see about the root canal was great. Very open and honest about what he saw and his recomendactions. The only issue I had was maybe the specialists assistant. She was quite aggressive when speaking with you. I was already nervous about the whole situation and I was trying to explain to her about my dentist office and what they did to me for me to have to come and look at getting a root canal. I think there was a language barrier problem because her responses was constantly what her point is and her point that I'm trying to get across and her point.. was very pushy and almost as if I was accusing her of something but all I was trying to do was break the ice a little because I was nervous and so I just wanted to conversate I guess. But otherwise everything was great and this office will probably my new dentist

Fantastic experience: New patient visit was smooth and pleasant. I was greeted with smiles and genuine interest. Front desk staff are very personable and professional. X-rays and examination were very good also with pleasant conversation between x-rays.

Negative experience: Disappointed that after my daughter’s oral surgery, she was wheeled outside the clinic without giving me a discharge instructions inside the clinic. I had to stop them in the sidewalk so I could ask questions. My daughter was very unsteady that I was basically bear hugging her to get her inside the car. It was soooo rushed to discharge her when this is her first time being under anesthesia. I also thought the doctor would talk to me re: the procedure, but none of that took place. I’m a nurse, and I expect basic discharge instructions at least inside the clinic but not in the sidewalk.

Fantastic experience: The location I was originally scheduled for dropped my appointment-5 minutes before I arrived. I was panicked because my wisdom teeth had broken through and created swelling. I had not slept all night & needed them removed asap. I called their office in Bonney lake and from the kindness of the receptionists to Kelly who settled me in to the oral surgeon. 10/10 wonderful service & team. I’d rather drive the 30 minutes now to this location to get my teeth worked on then down the street just based on customer service. The oral surgeon was fantastic I was in & out in less than 20 minutes. The relief of the pain was fantastic and I am so grateful. Thanks also to Kelly the dental assistant I think, who walked me through the process and helped keep my anxiety low while she set up my laughing gas she was so very sweet. The prices are also very reasonable and I was finally able to get those teeth out. Thank you team at Bonney lake bright dental you guys are the best

Fantastic experience: This group of ladies are great! I have to shine the spotlight on Brittany the hygienist, she is incredible and a total sweetheart. She is hands down and by far the best dental hygienist I have ever had. She is caring, compassionate, extremely knowledgeable and very very good at her job. She is very personable and a lot of fun to talk to. I am very thankful and lucky that she is my hygienist! Never thought I would say I enjoy going to the dentist but with Brittany and the crew at Bright Now Dental in Bonney Lake I do.

She’s been the assistant with me on a couple of my recent emergency appointments. She always goes above and beyond to make sure I’m comfortable and out of her way to find the answers to the questions I have.
