Aspen Dental - Linden, NJ

Negative experience: I am very disappointed. They threatened me that I could not get a regular cleaning and the hygienist tobacco shamed me and said she would not perform. A regular cleaning but I needed a deep cleaning. The office manager agreed and confirmed that it was allowed in my insurance plan. They also checked my insurance coverage for another procedure and I find out insurance cover less than what they ESTIMATED. I PAID $845 CASH , they got paid through insurance and now I have a bill for over $500. I will never recommend anyone or go there again. The dentist only wanted to sell me Invisaline and when I declined, he was no longer interested in a conversation.

Fantastic experience: Jen was absolutely amazing! She did an incredible deep cleaning, and my teeth have never felt this clean. She was gentle, thorough, and took her time to make sure everything was done right. You can tell she truly cares about her patients and treats your teeth as if they were her own. She made me feel comfortable throughout the entire appointment and explained everything along the way. If you’re looking for a hygienist who genuinely cares and does outstanding work, I highly recommend Jen. Thank you again for such an amazing experience!

Negative experience: I’ve been calling for DAYS and I get placed on hold for 15 minutes and the call drops. I’ve left voicemails and requested a call back with no response. I’m unable to book online since I am an existing client. Terrible client service on the admin side.

Negative experience: My first appointment went smooth.i didn't want a root canal and crown. Wanted a tooth extraction instead. They said they would get back to me. They never did. I made several attempts to contact them. Never received a call back. They advertised $29 exam. Just got a bill for over $277. Do yourself a favor stay far away from them.

Fantastic experience: Love the place clean. The staff was so nice and helpful. The Dentist doctor explained everything he was great and the staff also explained everything. Is expensive with no insurance. Hope to come back and do my procedure. I was pleased with this place

Fantastic experience: First dentist I’ve ever been too that actually shows me what I have and what needs to get done. First time getting a 3D scan and it was pretty cool to see my teeth and were I stand when it comes to treatment etc. Super friendly which I’m grateful because I’ve had bad experiences and dentist offices gets me nervous. But I got all the information I needed and I can’t wait to start the process.

Fantastic experience: Went get to tooth extracted. Friendly service, state of the art, clean, seemed like a comfortable working environment. Like everyone was happy to be there. Complete run down of costs. Advice, i went on Saturday, avoid going on weekend it was alot of patients compared to when I went back on a Wednesday. They close early on Saturdays and we all have jobs so we understand leaving at an adequate time! But definitely recommend

Negative experience: This is the worst service I’ve ever experienced. I went in for an emergency, explained my problem, and the whole time they kept insisting I get additional services I didn’t need. When they finally saw me, the doctor was done in five minutes. I asked him several times why it had been so quick and said I thought it was something much more serious, but he said there was no need for further treatment and that the pain would go away in a couple of days. Three weeks later, the pain persisted, so I visited another doctor, who is much more professional and is actually doing a proper job. He told me that the first doctor and the clinic didn’t do a good job, but above all, they weren’t honest. I don’t recommend them, and I advise you to watch your money because they clearly just want you to spend a lot of money with them on subpar care.

Fantastic experience: My Husband was recently seen as a new patient and our experience was phenomenal!! From registration to discharge. The front desk was there bright and early to open the doors and ready to help. Dr. MO was knowledgeable and explained things very well. Sarah the tech who did my husband's imprints and scans was so pleasant. She also explained everything every step of the way. I will also be transferring my dental needs to Aspen Dental in Linden. Great hours great service and with the most up to date equipment and procedures!

Fantastic experience: Staff is efficient and very friendly. Answered my questions in detail. Sara is a joy to work with. She's delightfully friendly.

Negative experience: They’re scammers!! They will make you take x-rays, and then tell you that you have all these issues with your teeth (such as gum disease) promise a cleaning & then bring you into a room to discuss a “deep cleaning treatment” for eight thousand dollars. When they show you the breakdown of the costs, if they even show you what’s on the computer, you will have to pay four thousand. This is all BEFORE a cleaning is done, if that. That is not a deal, it’s a scam!! They swear your insurance covers it, and that you have good insurance, but in reality they just want you to apply for the loan that they offer, knowing your insurance is supposed to pay for majority! Do not listen to them. You do not need whatever deep cleaning special treatment they are offering you. Go to a private dentist, NOT a chain. Get a second opinion please!! They don’t care about your teeth, they care about your pockets. They have had multiple lawsuits for YEARS now, please don’t be the person to have to sue them because they did horribly on your teeth. Utilize the internet for people’s experiences. If you don’t, your experience will be the exact same and nobody should be paying thousands of dollars for dentist work!

Fantastic experience: Everyone was so kind. Gera was great help with checking my insurance, Dr.Mo explained my treatment perfectly and Azalea was able to break everything down and get all my appointments scheduled. 10/10

Negative experience: They are a scam trying to charge me 1000 dollars for one toothe extraction with no sedation where I can go somewhere else and they are only charging me 365 they are obviously scamming

Negative experience: Made it clear I was unhappy with the change in the price of my care plan after the care had started. Asked for the office manager to call and explain why the price jumped up 6k after providing insurance and was given no answer, no call back from the manager and no response to the email I sent to corporate. They try to rip you off and when called out on it they just ignore you in the middle of your unfinished dental work . Avoid at all cost!

Fantastic experience: Achan Bey was my tech when I came in for my first partial fitting a week ago. Adjustments were made on the spot when I felt discomfort. Also, Achan explain the whole process and what to expect as I get used to the partial. Everything was on point. Great job and great service.

I’ve always been very nervous about dental clinics because of my gagging issues, so I was quite scared when I arrived. However, everything changed when I met Dr. Rastogi. I have never seen or experienced a doctor like him before. He completely understood my situation and handled my root canal with great care and precision. I’m sure it was not an easy procedure, but he made it feel comfortable and manageable for me. From the bottom of my heart, I want to say thank you to Aspen Dental and Dr. Rastogi. Every single person who interacted with me was incredibly empathetic and caring and they were able to help me get relief almost instantly. Sarah and Angela especially helped me to focus through my stress and I felt very seen and heard through the whole experience. If I lived in the area, I would begin coming here immediately. 10/10 would recommend.

Negative experience: I would not recommend this place at all, they are only looking for money from you or your insurance. The best choice for a person with insurance is a few hundred dollars but you offer new customers x-rays and cleaning for $30( I was a new customer). I will not be going back and would warn anyone that is going unless you have a few hundred dollars to spend find a different dentist.

Negative experience: Unfortunately there are businesses who will look to overcharge you but the cost of certain options and services that this dental establishment is downright robbery. I spoke with a couple of dentist including my insurance company and basically they told me to “run”!! Go at your own risk

Positive experience: One of the reasons we chose Aspen Dental was because they are open on Saturdays, they have Care Credit payment plan options, and looked like a nice clean dental office. Everyone is incredibly friendly and they are very thorough with their analysis. My husband was the patient and we aren't blind that he needed substantial dental work (implants, crowns, etc) and knew we would need to owe a fair amount, however as an uninsured individual they quoted us over $12,000 of dental work. Alone for a root canal and crown for one tooth they quoted about $4,500. I started calling around to other offices and while there is a sliding scale and depends on the patient etc (a lot of factors involved) all the other offices quoted us about $500-$2000 less. It's definitely possible with insurance you'll have more coverage, but even the out of pocket price was substantially greater. While the service is friendly, the prices are largely overpriced. If you are uninsured, do your research. This is not the place for that.

This was the first time that I was happy all through my visit. They are positive, encouraging and very knowledge. Ask all the questions you want. They have options for you. SMILE all day long.

Negative experience: Terrible customer service I was told to come in at the beginning of the year to get work done when insurance renewed because prices would be cheaper. I comeback the girl at the front desk tells me they're busy I will get a call in 1-2 weeks why so long I don't know but okay. 2 weeks pass I go back same situation someone will call you in 1-2 weeks. Now its February I never got a call so I call in today to get the same results. I wouldn't waste my time Dentist does good work but prices are too high anyway especially for the bad customer service.

Negative experience: Went to get a basic cleaning, after doing the xray doc explained I had no cavities, everything looks good but showed me a couple of things that I could prevent by doing a preventative treatment and also suggested getting my front teeth straightened , these were all things recommended to think about , I was then sent to a room with a $8000 recommend treatment, I explained that with no cavities , gum bleeding, , pain etc all I came in for is just a cleaning, bill came down to $3000 for a deep cleaning and infection prevention, all I need is a cleaning, I’ll consider the rest next , they told me after an hour in their facility that they refused to do a simple cleaning because it would be unethical of them and can try one of those local office they will do it , I’ve been going to the dentist all my life and at 56 years old have never heard this before and for my age I think I have pretty good teeth, no missing, no implants, no dentures, no braces ever . Aspen dental will ask you to pay over $8000 for an initial visit or they will refuse the service that YOU request of yourself, I’m sorry but this is not the emergency room .

From the front door Gera was very helpful with getting me seen and scheduling dates for the surgeon , Sarah also very friendly and bubbly! Sarah explained step by step how the process would go and what to expect. Jennifer nice and very informative, she explained everything to a T and gave options for my services. Dr. Mo also very informative and gentle on the teeth, he was also very friendly and gave me options for treatment for what I needed. Sofia helped through and through getting all set with my service date and times and plan options. The whole staff was very nice and helpful! Definitely recommend coming here if you want a thorough explanation and explanation of your mouth. I left with no question unanswered! 10000/10 !

Fantastic experience: I went in for an emergency appointment at Aspen Dental in Linden, NJ because I needed a tooth extracted after it accidentally broke in half. Walking in the staff was super welcoming and inviting. I first saw Sarah who assisted with my X-Rays. She was very sweet and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole procedure. I then met with the hygienist Jennifer who broke down everything regarding my gums and overall teeth health. She made sure I understood everything which I really appreciated. Then I met Dr. Mohamed who explained to me all the things I needed done to my teeth to get my goal smile. He was very friendly and very reassuring throughout my whole extraction process. I literally didn’t feel a thing while getting my tooth removed which was obviously a plus for me. I met with Sophia who provided different payment plan options for my service. Overall, my experience at Aspen Dental was great and I’m happy that they were able to help solve my problem same day as well as assist with a plan for long term care.

Fantastic experience: Every level of service was professional, courteous and concerned. From Dr. Mohammed to the dental assisting Bola to Maria to to the receptionist, every level of service was fantastic. I left a dentist of about 20 years after one check up with Aspen. I had a 5 implant procedure done within a hour and a half. The team was continuously checking on my of discomfort. It was quick and Slow down very much to my satisfaction and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. Dr. Mohammed and Bola we’re fantastic.

Fantastic experience: Came in for emergency crown last week on my front tooth last minute. They were able to fix the crown and place it within minutes. Today i went back to get a permanent crown in and out 30 minutes. Did an amazing job. They offer good financial help for expenses you insurance doesn’t fully cover. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: I was disappointed with my experience at this dental office. The place looks very modern and high-tech, but I came in just for a simple cleaning and ended up being pushed toward an expensive treatment plan I didn’t ask for. It felt more like a sales pitch than genuine dental care. I prefer honesty and straightforward service, not pressure to sign up for costly procedures. Definitely not what I expected.

Negative experience: This is a scam practice Do Not go to Aspen dental in Linden NJ they took 3500 from me September 29,2024 for dentures today is October 6th still bottom denture has no gum line in back so it falls out even if I add tons of glue. After 2 full weeks of them not an answering any of my calls I had to call billing to get them on phone The first set were yellow. When I told them I did not have yellow teeth. They said OK no problem. We will make you another set. Well it took about a month to get that set and there was no gumline in the back of the bottom teeth and. She couldn’t put one there because if I tried to swallow my tongue they would fall out. I told her I don’t normally try to swallow my tongue daily that I’m born dentures for 10 years. I know how to wear them and I always had a full gun line in the front and the back she said OK no problem or machines are down. Come back in a week and went back in a week then they told me to come back in two weeks but it’s like a month before they could give me an appointment because they just don’t have any appointments. I’m just getting the runaround I get Teeth for the third time still no gum line then they say you have 30 minutes to come in because the dentist is leaving for vacation and at this point she has no idea when she will return because I couldn’t get in there in 30 minutes. They said try back in a week and we’ll see if the dentist has decided when she will return from her vacation. One week later I call back and this is now seven months. OK this is the whole process has taken now seven months should’ve been done within less than three weeks. We are now seven months and I wait one week and I call back and they pick up the phone and they keep slapping me on hold playing and recording of how if I’m not happy I can have a 100% moneyback guarantee. Well I have not been happy. I have never been this unhappy with a company or a doctor or dentist in my entire life, this is the worst. I will never ever ever go to Aspen Dental again in my life. I now have Discover trying to get my money back. I have the Better Business Bureau trying to get my money back. I’m gonna go to small claims court and I was only in that office in seven months three times too out of those three visits. They were patient screaming in there get out when you can. Don’t give them money. Don’t give them your insurance. They’re here to rob you. Fantastic experience: I’m 37 years old and I never had a dentist experience like this before, they was very professional and the gentleman that was pulling my tooth, He didn’t even cut my gums.
