Fantastic experience: I must commend this dental practice as one of the best dental offices I’ve ever been to. The staff is so cordial, friendly and treat their patients with the up-most professionalism and curtesy with the beneficiaries needs as the primary objective in their treatment and the DDS are very thorough, experience and knowledgeable. I’ve experienced other practices where the main goal was Ca$$ in on patient’s disparity without properly assessing nor taking into consideration the underlying condition there in! Not Here!!! They look, listen, & observe the patients condition with compassion and fully explain everything in full depth. This was my 1st and won’t be my last because I am selecting this practice as my Primary Dental Office. The staff that took care of me, Jennifer, Brianna, Fiorella & Dr. Yusuf, were “Great” . My new dental family. :) 100% Highly Recommended!!

Fantastic experience: My family and I have gone to NuvaSmile for almost a decade now, but this was our first time in the Elizabeth office. I called for an emergency appointment with someone in severe pain, and although their availability was cramped Eva took extra consideration when she heard pain in the background of our call. She got us in quickly, and Dr. Nafis Rahman treated us kindly and moved with patience although we disrupted the end of his workday. Dr.Rahman interpreted xray photos to ensure the patient was informed about her health and the procedure to be done even through a language barrier, and him and Eva were empathetic to pain in the way you wish everyone in healthcare could be. In the end, the office staff was also kind enough ensure the X-rays pictures we got were of good quality so we could take them to a specialist. I was impressed with the office and Doctor’s attention to detail and bedside mannerisms and wish that all appointments were as easy as the ones I have with NuvaSmile

Negative experience: I made it very clear to the dentist that before extracting my tooth, they needed to confirm that my insurance covered everything, because if it didn’t, I would NOT agree to the extraction. They assured me that the insurance was fully approved, so they went ahead and removed my tooth. Two weeks later, after taking impressions, they suddenly told me, “Oh, sorry, we don’t know what happened, but your insurance didn’t cover it.” As a result of their I was left without an important tooth and with an infection. Completely unacceptable. Do not come here.

Negative experience: My goodness, definitely need to review your customer service. I called to make an appointment and they treated me as if I had called to ask for a loan. In the end, I didn't make the appointment. If that's what your phone service is like, where you don't know who you're talking to, I can only imagine what it's like in person.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love this place, all the staff is so welcoming and professional. The rooms are so clean and sanitary. Dr. puri went above and beyond on my case and I couldn’t be more grateful for her patience and professionalism. Fio has been so helpful throughout the entire process. I also brought my 7 year old son here for a cleaning and although he was nervous at first that quickly changed thanks to the dentists and hes excited to go back. 10/10 recommend.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience at NUVA Smiles! I was attended to very quickly, and the front desk staff were both kind and professional. The dental assistant was also very friendly and made me feel comfortable. When the dentist came in, she immediately knew what was going on and clearly explained everything to me. I really appreciated how thorough and understanding she was. Another big plus is that everyone in the office speaks both Spanish and English, which makes communication so much easier. Definitely recommend this office!

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to Nuva Smile for almost two years. And when it comes to dentists, this one is absolutely top notch. Friendly staff, clean environment, very professional, very patient. I had to get filling on the day I made this review and my mouth is very sensitive to pain, even after the numbing agent was injected into my mouth, once the drilling started I still felt pain. Instead of being annoyed or frustrated with me, the dentist continued to add on more until the pain was completely gone! Dr Puri is an amazing dentist and the staff is just as amazing. If anyone is looking for an office that's both welcoming and professional, then Nuva Smile is top notch. I will be coming here for as long as their business allows me to. (And they gave me a hat!)

Fantastic experience: Dr.Paneka (I’m sorry if I spelled it wrong) was AMAZING. I feel like this is the first dentist that actually listened to my concerns and reassured me about anything I had questions on. She was so gentle during my filing! This is the first time I didn’t feel any pain during a filling. She wasn’t in a rush. Literally in the time the other male dentist did 4 of my fillings 2 months ago, she did one. (It was an appropriate amount of time on her end) But I’m not complaining about the time SHE took bc it just showed me that she truly does care about her patients and how they feel after a visit. Overall had a great experience with her and the two ladies who assisted her.

Negative experience: Very bad place, I have a very bad experience. This dentist is useless. They are not professional. I had my daughter get braces and the wires always came loose, the braces fell off and she didn't want to get them fixed. Right away they gave me an appointment for three weeks. The secretaries are not friendly. I do not recommend them at all.

Positive experience: Needed a new dentist and stupidly chose this one. My first appointment receptionist couldn’t find my appointment scheduled for 11am. I was called and then ended up having to wait another good 40 minutes before I even saw dental assistant. They were rough with my teeth cleaning and kept going back and forth between me and another patient. Personally I thought that it was unsanitary but what can you do when your mouth is already being operated on. My second appointment the following week for cavity filling was slightly better in terms of cleanliness but again the receptionist said I wasn’t scheduled when I was. My third appointment on 02/07 was scheduled for 10:30 am. 2 days before the appointment they sent me A text to confirm my appointment for 9 AM. My appointment was not for 9 AM. Then the day before my appointment I get a call from the receptionist asking me to confirm my appointment for 11 AM. This place is too unprofessional and disorganized for my liking.

Negative experience: Please do not go to this place the cleaning was not even near of a good cleaning also right after the dentist the Indian lady so unprofessional talking to me like if I am one of her employees talking crazy about me to make up my mind if I want to pay cash or not! I stop her on her nonsense and disrespect talking about to fix my two teeth with resin is one thousand and insinuating like if I can’t pay for it make up my mind !!! from where you guys hiring this type of people !!! terrible “doctor” don’t know about Ethics and how to be respectful and how to talk to a patient -0 ⭐️ by the way some other doctor fix my two teeth nice and look really good for 300 stop overcharging yes I have a thousand but not get robbed bye this women !

Positive experience: This review is from my wife Ana, the staff at Nuva Smile Elizabeth are absolutely phenomenal. I have severe anxiety when it comes to the dentist and they extremely accommodating . There is staff members I’d like to shout out (Jennifer Pegero) who always go above and beyond when I’m there and really make a difference in my care. Just an update after a root canal treatment, Dr. Nafis Rahman is quite gifted and very dedicated to the patients, him and Joceryn (Hygienist) were exceptional and front office staff Jennifer Mora is supe kind and very helpful when dealing with the insurance claims.
