Negative experience: I was not happy with Dr. Renee. He spoke to me but was looking at the wall. Wouldn't look me in my eyes as they explained my condition. I felt like he was not compassionate enough in regards to my situation. I asked questions but didn't get a satisfying answer. Never suggested anything to make my condition more comfortable until I saw a specialist

Negative experience: I rarely leave negative reviews, but I wanted to share our experience. My seven-year-old son recently had a cavity filled, and we were told it is the practice’s policy that parents are not allowed in the treatment room. This made what was already a stressful situation much more difficult for both of us. While I respect that every office has its own policies, I believe parents should have the option to be present for young children during procedures like this. Unfortunately, it was a very unpleasant experience, and we will be looking for a pediatric dental practice with a more family-centered approach.

Fantastic experience: At the end of the day at every dental office, it is about your primary care dentist. Dr. "T" at this facility is by far the best dentist I've ever been to. He is thorough, professional, very, very knowledgeable about dentistry and is able to confidently answer any questions. He has an easygoing manner that puts patients at ease and does not rush or impersonalize the process.. He is the definition of a great dentist. His staff is competent, courteous and professional.

Fantastic experience: This is a great practice. The assistant Julian Rey went above and beyond to make my visit comfortable. My appointment started on time, Dr. T explained everything patiently and I was in and out quickly without feeling rushed. It is rare to find this kind of service nowadays so I definitely recommend this team.

Fantastic experience: They were absolutely wonderful, professional, helpful, calm, understanding, They let me wear my prescription sunglasses inside due to sensitive eyes cause of my autism which I appreciate. They were also non judgmental when I told them I had a period of depression when my teeth looked terrible because of that and they said it’s underrated talking about how depression affects your teeth. You are all wonderful! Five stars!

Negative experience: When Dr. T gave me my particle he didn't have gloves on, so when I ask him why he didn't have gloves on when gave me my particle he said to me that his hands is clean, then get attitude because I meant to him. That not profession! I had teeths add to particle, my front tooth on the right of particle at the top was too long. Dr. T trim the tooth to short. I waited five weeks for my particle, no telling how long I got to wait for new one. When I came for the top, then they suppose to take bottom particle to add teeth. I so disappoint with this Dentist and office because they are charging me out of network charge!

Fantastic experience: Excellent care. Jazmin the hygienist was super competent, gentle and did a thorough cleaning job. She also advised on future care and the use of fluoride and bone treatment! Very happy!

Fantastic experience: Marisol, my hygienist was great I showed up late and she still squeezed me in! She was incredibly attentive making sure no water was splashing in my face, she even serenaded me since I couldn't sing along to the music and had the Doctor clear off some glue I had from braces for like 15 years!! My teeth feel so clean and look amazing always glad she can squeeze me in and do a great job.

Fantastic experience: My hygienist was perfect. I have not been to the dentist in a few years, and she couldn't have made me feel more at ease. The dentist was very informative and friendly, did not try to 'upsell' unnecessary services. I feel lucky to have found this place!

Negative experience: The front desk staff and the dental assistants were wonderful, but thumbs down to "Dr. T". His extraction technique was fine but his bedside manner was non existent. No hello or goodbye. Zero talk about follow up or future treatment plan. He did the work and walked out. I will not be returning.

They take the time to explain everything and make sure you feel comfortable during your visit. The office is clean, organized, and they really care about their patients. Fantastic experience: I like the way every one treats me, they are very professional in the they do their work. I have been a patient from the 80s started with Dr Pamela Reynolds, so keep up the good work.

Negative experience: One star and only because the front desk and dental assistants were extremely sweet and helpful. The dentist however, extremely rude and cold. I can’t even leave his name because he never gave it to me. No hello, no introduction, nothing. I made it extremely clear at my previous visit and the start of my current one that I have an extreme phobia of needles especially in my mouth. The assistants again were helpful but the dentist himself had the most terrible bedside manner. He sat down, reclined me back and attempted to go straight in with the needle. No hello, no explanation of what was happening, no introduction or anything. I had jolted up because, again I am extremely anxious and they knew this. He threw the needle down, snapped off his gloves and said “I’m not doing this” and never returned to the room. Absolutely zero bedside manner and extremely rude. He didn’t even attempt to come speak with me or to comfort and try again. Just suggested I be sedated rather than have some compassion. Do NOT recommend!!!!

My husband and I received x-rays and cleaning at an affordable price (despite not having dental insurance) in our own neighborhood. Fantastic experience: The dental Hygienist is officially gang gang. The young lady was so warm and welcoming reminds of how I wish some of the women in my own family acted lol jk. Her professionalism is one of the reason I’m going to keep going back. The dentist is extremely skilled, as i just had him complete a large filling for a cavity which could have become a root-canal easily.

Negative experience: zero stars. Please be aware, new dentist with control issues. We had the WORST experience I have ever had at a dentist. We have gone to Lifetime Smiles Dental for years (Dr Reynolds and Dr Grandberry were both wonderful) Unfortunately this practice has changed to a new dentist who did terrible bedside manner. He did not introduce himself, and had a very dismissive manner. My daughter went in for a filling and after she was numbed by the dentist, he turned to me and said “ok, now you need to leave the room.” I have never been asked to leave my daughter by other dentists at this practice. There was no prior discussion or notification stating that I was not allowed in the room for my 7 year olds procedure. I asked why I needed to leave and he said “It is a control issue.” My daughter sits very still so I didn’t understand. I was then asked why I had a problem with leaving. I was shocked by the timing of giving my child a numbing shot and then refusing to continue the procedure until I left the room. I felt manipulated to leave since he had started numbing her mouth. I was made to feel badly that I wanted to stay in the room to support my child. He felt aggressive and controlling. The staff did not seem to feel comfortable around him. My daughter and I left. I will never return to this dental office.

Fantastic experience: Awesome visit, went in to have a cracked tooth repaired, I was in at 8 and out by 8:30. Dr. T and Julian were amazing, no Novocaine, I truly left with a smile..

I saw that was a dental office opening on Chicago Avenue two blocks east the Harlem I called very satisfying very nice people I can’t recommend them enough. I’ve lived in Oak Park and River Forest for 75 years and they couldn’t have been nicer and couldn’t have done a better job. God bless him.

Fantastic experience: This was my first appointment at Lifetime Smiles. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful prior to the appointment, and took the time to verify ahead of time that my insurance would be accepted. Juliette, the hygienist was not only very friendly, but probably the most gentle I’ve ever had, I barely noticed she was poking around! Dr. Grandberry took the time to address my many concerns and come up with a treatment plan, including all the options that I could choose from. I left feeling confident I will be in good hands there.

Dr. Grandberry and her surgeon Dr. Yang is the best surgeon to make you feel comfortable and get over your fear. I did not feel his needles during the numbing. Even fell asleep while he was performing the oral surgery. I even snored a couple of times. Lol. Best place ever!!

Fantastic experience: This was my first time visiting the office and was referred to come in and see Dr. Yang for a root canal. And I like many of you do not enjoy going to the dentist. But this was by far one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Julian the assistant made me feel so comfortable and was very good at providing me with instructions before and after care along with a follow up, call to make sure that I was doing ok. Dr. Yang was incredible, he made me feel very comfortable and at ease he was very thorough knowledgeable, patience, and informative. I just want to say thank you for the overall experience and taking such great care of me. I look forward to coming back to see you guys as well as referring additional friends and family to you so they can receive the same level such great care and service.

Fantastic experience: When Dr.Renolyds owned the business I had no problems. A few months ago my appointment was cancelled without my knowledge because I couldn't answer the calls to confirm my appoint- ment. I did return the call to let them know I would be there for the appointment on the voice- mail. They say they had no records of my call and I showed up at proscribed date and time and was told I had no appointment it had been automatically cancelled. I was livid and very upset because I was on vacation in Wisconsin and returned just to keep the appointment. They said nothing can be done until later that afternoon which I could not m I have never had this problem with Dr. Pam in over 15 years.off knowing them.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with Lifetime Smiles! I was experiencing wisdom tooth pain but also hadn't been to the dentist in several years so I was anxious about going and concerned that it would take a while to actually be seen. I called on Monday and spoke to the front desk (Claudia I believe) and she got me in for a cleaning and dental exam two days later. Front desk staff on the phone and during my visit were super helpful and personable. They all wished me a happy belated birthday :) My hygienist was awesome (Jasmine) and I appreciated her telling me what she was doing while cleaning my teeth. Dr. Grandberry was very kind, helpful and concise. I don't typically write reviews but like I mentioned I was so anxious about going in, and I left thinking this was one of the best dental experiences I've had. Thank you!
