Fantastic experience: The people makes you feel important and relaxed
Fantastic experience: I had a very good experience with my children's first visit. I had to switch dentist becuase the previous office rushed every time, treating my kids dental care as if we were in a drive-thru. Everyone was very nice and explained everything throughout our visit.
Fantastic experience: The staff at this place are incredibly friendly and always go above and beyond to resolve any issues you may have. Plus, the prices are incredibly affordable.
Fantastic experience: I love the dentist he had such a pleasant personality and he gives you good advice and I can tell he has a passion to help the patient. I only had one command it was with I think a nurse or work there. She got water all over my shirt and she was constantly speaking negative words about my teeth.. that’s the only problem I had.That I loved everyone else personality. I’ll definitely tell other about this dentist and the receptionists are really nice and always have a pleasant smile whenever I come in

Negative experience: I feel I definitely dodge a bullet not following through with my dental procedures at this office. The entire staff from answering the phones to the dental assistants and Doctors…There’s a huge medical professionalism and patient disconnection. The whole process every step of the way was being RUSHED.. All the staff was rushing and behaving as if the place was a Circus. The whole focus seems to be about how many patients they can accomplish on a daily. The dental assistant was rushing me through the X-rays appearing annoyed with any questions I attempted to ask. The dentist appeared quickly after the x-rays and proceeded to just ask me to lay back with no Hello or introduction. She never glanced at my chart to gain not even my name.You cant possibly be using proper sanitation moving through so many patients and so little time difference. I see gloves but no handwashing or sanitizer/sanitizing. This location is definitely abusing and taking advantage of this poverty community in which they are servicing. They are definitely all about the number of patients they can service on a daily for the money. So If Speedy quick risky dental service is what you want, then by all means take your chances here. Blessing to anyone who find comfort with this dentistry. As a patron and definitely a PATIENT you deserve much professional compassion and treatment. Not to be treated just as a number and dollar sign.

Negative experience: I am posting this review to protect and educate patients who are unaware of how dentists may charge for unnecessary procedures. I was an established patient from one of their branch. The dentist at the branch advised me to schedule a root canal, and the waiting period was too long at that branch, so I scheduled it at this Cicero location. I don't have insurance, and I am paying out of my pocket for the treatment. I visited Cicero Clinic in June 2025 and saw a Dentist named Basel for a root canal. Basel said he could not move forward with the X-ray taken at another branch because it was one-dimensional. Basel has insisted on a two-dimensional X-ray, which costs $350 per front desk resource, Maritza. I visited four other dentists for advice, and none of them asked for a two-dimensional X-ray. Finally, I had my root canal done successfully without requiring me to take a two-dimensional X-ray. I saved at least $350 by rejecting Dentist Basel. I may have ended up paying for additional unnecessary charges had I continued treatment with Basel . I suffered one week of pain because Basel could not do a root canal and wanted me to spend an additional $350 for an x-ray. It took me about a week to find a low-cost and efficient dentist. Be aware of an incompetent dentist who puts a hole in your pocket. I hope this post helps others in their research and protects them from overpaying for unnecessary charges for dental treatments.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely phenomenal experience at Cicero Dental Center! From the moment I walked in, everything ran like a well--the wait time was impressively short, and the staff were courteous, attentive, and made me feel completely at ease. Dr. Raed himself is not only incredibly skilled but also one of the friendliest and most reassuring professionals I've encountered in healthcare. I had six wisdom teeth removed and the entire procedure went shockingly smooth. I was expecting a drawn-out, painful ordeal, but to my surprise, it was over before I knew it--with minimal discomfort and an easy recovery. Dr. Raed walked me through every step with such calm confidence that I felt in expert hands the entire time. His precision and care turned what could've been a nerve-wracking experience into a genuinely positive one. Negative experience: I took my girl here because it came highly recommend. She's been here 5 times, twice in June and now 3 times in July. Each time she was given another appointment and told that she had to come back. Finally, in July, she was seen and another appointment was was given to her so she would be able to get the services that she required. Now they can't find her registration record. Five times and now this? It doesn't make any sense that you would have a person travel across the city 5 times and loose their information. I seriously don't think that I can, in good conscience recommend this place.

Negative experience: Get a second opinion! I was told I needed a root cancel and I went to image dental, they were honest and said I didn’t need one!! Wow. Be careful here!!!!

Negative experience: If I could give zero stars, I would. The way this office treats patients is completely unacceptable. They seem to pick and choose when they want to act professionally. My daughters were left in pain after getting fillings, and I’ve personally been rescheduled three times — each time pushed a month out — just to get an infected tooth and a wisdom tooth extracted. It took them two months just to verify an insurance approval that had already been approved. They are disorganized, unprofessional, and clearly do not care about their patients’ time or the urgency of dental emergencies.

Negative experience: The most worst dentist office in the world. It’s only two available doctors that’s there who works on patient’s mouth. They don’t have the necessities to work on your mouth. The workers that sit at the front desk, all they do is eat and talk on their phones. Dr. Huston is very aggressive. My number one concern is while they are working on your mouth they never ask are you OK? Do you feel any pain? I had an appointment for 11 AM. They did not call me until after 1 PM. They are very unprofessional. I don’t recommend this dental office to no one. And they also wanted me to pay at a pocket when I have good healthcare insurance. I got a root canal done. He did not shave down the filing this is just a horrible dentist office.

Negative experience: The Healthcare industry is not the same anymore. Back in 2021, I made an appointment to be seen, To get my teeth fixed. I was excited that I was able too get it repaired, early this this year me & my husband made an appointment to be seen, first off they didn’t have the proper tools to do a root canal and steady making unnecessary appointments which was causing my husband to missed work. Dr. Huston is very aggressive & Dr. Bassle they both like to see multiple patients. They are very unprofessional! I don’t recommend this dental office to nobody. I ended up taking my service some where else where I would be treated with care and someone understand me and my husband needs.

Negative experience: I highly recommend getting a second opinion before going through with any procedures here. The only reason I came here was because I moved to the area. I came in for fillings as part of my treatment plan and a couple of weeks later ended up with a horrible infection which developed into cellulitis. During my fillings my doctor disappeared for 40 minutes, AFTER my teeth were drilled into. I firmly believe that the cause of my infection was due to sanitation, as I have never had anyone take a break in the middle of the filling procedure. When I went in to be diagnosed for the abscess I was in extreme pain but they assured me they could take me in the following week. After two days my face was completely swollen to the point where I looked like a different person, and I was scared so I went to the office to see if I could have anything done as an emergency and it turns out they didn’t treat me with urgency because they were remodeling and painting the office… To fix the problem I had to get a root canal and antibiotics. Dr pressured me into receiving two root canals, even though only one of my teeth had the abscess. After agreeing suddenly most of my teeth required root canals were added to my treatment plan and I was being quoted over $20k for all of it. On top of all of this, I had let the staff know that I dealt with anxiety and nervousness at the dentist. Although they claim that adults with dental anxiety is something this office specializes in, I can say with confidence that I felt ridiculed by most of the assistants. Not only were they not understanding of my fear, but they made unprofessional comments to me and my mother who was there for support and were very condescending. After getting a second and third opinion, i’ve been told all of the procedures added to my treatment plan were unnecessary and I just needed to keep up with my regular cleanings. This clinic caused irreparable trauma to me, and furthered my dental anxiety. They also tried to put me out thousands of dollars in unnecessary procedures and already had me out almost 2k in procedures that I can only deem outside of the standard and unhygienic.

Negative experience: My experience with the dentist that took care of me was that she did not care about my health all she wanted to do was drain my insurance. But she forgot that the insurance did not cover for the whole dental work I had to pay the difference. I wasn't happy with the dentist that took care of me.

Negative experience: DO NOT CHOOSE DR HOUSTON Disappointed with my experience today with Dr Nichol Houston. Started off telling her about the good reviews I read that’s why I chose to see her. She quickly informed me that wouldn’t be the case for everyone. Well she definitely proved her self correct with her rude arrogant attitude and lack of communicating my oral exam/options and prices for procedures that my insurance didn’t cover running her metal instruments across my crack tooth and roughly tugged it out my mouth granted this one star review and complaints with IDPH, ISDS or whom ever else I need to. Ms Houston All PATIENTS education is key to providing the VERY BEST options for treatment!!!! You failed tremendously Do Better!!!!! The staff and assistants were wonderfully to me.

Fantastic experience: upon entry the staff was soothingly welcoming. I was experiencing pain already, once I was submitted in Dr Houston came in gave me a clear run down of my options. upon deciding to extract,Dr Houston took the most care of me as I shook like a sheep Dr Houston reassured me things would be fine. with great care she removed the tooth and dropped in in the pan the awaiting dental assistant was holding. if you you're looking for a dentist that care and knows there job and not out to make a dollar off your misfortune. try the dentists group @ Cicero dental center.

Negative experience: One thing If you come to this dentist make sure you are covered by insurance before they start any service on your teeth because these people will do service on you knowing you is not covered and will snatch your false teeth out your mouth treat you so bad why would you start on someone mouth knowing it’s not covered than when you checking out talking about you have to pay out pocket than snatch the teeth out your mouth instead of a billing statements until insurance issue is dealt with because it’s so degrading and embarrassing it’s a-shame you have to endure that type of hurt. They repo her teeth like it was an unpaid Car note that she didn’t keep up with no remorse at all. The medical assistant told us that we covered so they working on my mom mouth than said it was not covered at the end it’s poor communication with each other people shouldn’t be treated like we stealing out Walmart or something very disappointed

Fantastic experience: I can’t express enough how thankful I am to the staff and Dr. Nishtha. I have been having problems with my teeth for a long time and it wasn’t till I got to Cicero Dental did I actually find the help I needed. I have been to MANY dentists where I have been overcharged, if I didn’t have the money upfront I was asked to leave, and when I expressed my pain and discomfort I would be brushed off and would leave with my pain. I got all of my problems taken care of in one visit at Cicero Dental. Dr. Nishtha listened to me, she gave me medicine for my pain, and was ready to schedule me ASAP. I was told directly my financial responsibility and felt everything was taken care of in a timely and responsible manner. I cannot express enough how grateful I am to finally find a dentist office where I can trust the staff and not feel uncomfortable or belittled. The staff is amazing and am grateful for their support and service. THANK YOU SO MUCH. I hope this helps anyone looking for a dentist office.

Negative experience: i do NOT recommend this place. I have had a temporary cap on my tooth for two months. They keep rescheduling me. The first time they rescheduled me is because they did not send my items to the lab until a week after my visit. Second time reschedule the doctor had a family emergency. When putting my cap on they. Switched out dentist from a male to a female in mid procedure. I asked for the girl doctor, they claim I cannot get her. I left work for the third time, after a confirmation to come in . I got there for them to say oh can we reschedule you for tomorrow. WORST DENTIST PLACE EVER . And it’s Outwest
