Negative experience: If i could give these people a nothing I would. My husband had two teeth pulled and they charged him $3,400 They have not even put in the bridge yet. Everytime he goes up their its a charge. I advise anyone to think before they go. This is a terrible place i wish we had not came here

My doctor Nadia is also amazing at what she does. The staff at this dentist make you feel seen and known. From the front desk workers to the doctors, they are all so kind. Negative experience: Please see my original post, dated June 1, 2026, written by me as well. Although Rancho Cordova Smiles Dentistry has replied to my review on Google, asking me to call them to discuss, I will not be doing so. As my previously, detailed review mentioned, when I went to this practice's office, on May 5, 2026 to discuss this matter, I was extremely discreet. There was no one in the waiting area, except for the staff. My goal was to address this issue privately. Moreover, their office manager, Bella, whom I spoke with face-to-face, 27 days ago, she assured me she would address my requests within 24 hours. I told her I was willing to wait until the end of the week, providing her 4 additional days. As such, this establishment has been provided more than enough time to remedy this issue, yet they chose to do the bare minimal. So, I no longer have faith in their ability address this issue appropriately and will allow the Better Business Bureau to advocate on my behalf.

Negative experience: My 84-year-old father recently had a very troubling experience with this dental office, and after making every reasonable effort to resolve the matter privately, I feel compelled to share what occurred. My father is an elderly patient who was recently diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. He speaks very softly; he stutters and struggles with mobility. As a result, he is particularly vulnerable and depends on healthcare providers to communicate clearly, exercise patience, and treat him with dignity and professionalism. The problems began during the crown process, on April 20, 2026. At the temporary crown appointment, my father informed the technician that the temporary crown had a rough edge. He was told not to worry about it. He also received very little guidance regarding aftercare and had to ask questions himself about eating, brushing, and flossing. Just a few days later, part of the temporary crown fell out, requiring an additional visit to have it reattached. A few days after that, the same portion fell out again. By the time he returned for his final crown appointment, the temporary crown was once again broken. During the final crown appointment on May 2, 2026, the technician removed the temporary crown and attempted to place the permanent crown. When it did not fit properly, the dentist, Dr. Kirandeep Kaur, entered the room and attempted to adjust the crown by grinding or drilling it outside of my father’s mouth. The crown was then placed again, and my father was sent for an X-ray. After returning to the treatment room, my father was instructed to bite down on the crown. The crown cracked. My father immediately asked, “Did it crack?” The dentist responded, “Yes.” At that point, my father expressed that he was unhappy with the experience. The dentist apologized and explained that another crown would need to be made. She further indicated that she could produce a replacement crown using a lower-quality material because it could be completed more quickly, and that the fee would be reduced. A staff member from the front desk later entered the room to ask why my father was unhappy. He explained the sequence of events and his concerns. Afterward, the dentist suggested beginning treatment on another tooth while waiting for the replacement crown process. My father declined. What is most disappointing is what happened afterward. On May 5, 2026, I personally visited the office and met privately with the office manager, Bella. The office was empty at the time, and our conversation was cordial and respectful. I specifically stated that my goal was not to create conflict, but rather to resolve the matter professionally and privately. I explained that I preferred to spread “light and love” rather than anger and that I hoped we could reach a fair resolution. I requested three simple actions: 1. A written apology to my father. 2. That his account balance be reduced to zero. 3. That his complete dental records be provided so he could seek treatment elsewhere and complete any remaining work with another provider. I requested that these actions be completed by May 9, 2026. The only request that was honored was the release of his records. No apology was provided. The account balance was not adjusted. Instead, my father later received a bill that included charges related to the replacement crown that became necessary after the original crown cracked during the fitting process. I am particularly disappointed because the office was given an opportunity to resolve this matter privately and respectfully. Rather than addressing the concerns of an elderly Parkinson’s patient and demonstrating accountability, they chose not to follow through on the requested resolution. Patients deserve competent care, clear communication, and professional treatment—especially elderly patients who may be less able to advocate for themselves. Unfortunately, that was not our experience.

I do have to say they have amazing receptionist. I am sure that the lack of care is because I am here again for something they did wrong. Too bad. Fantastic experience: Can't say enough about this place. Went to them for the first time because I had an emergency years ago, and they fit me in same day. Let my dental care lapse and had 2 fillings fall out a couple nights ago. Called them yesterday and they got me in the next day. Worked with me on the pricing and got the care I needed. And Dr. Al-Zubaidi was so patient when I was experiencing pain while she was drilling and got emotional. Amazing care from start to finish.

Positive experience: I like this place, nice office staff and dentists, however, time management and waiting is my biggest complaint, we have been in the office switching over my family of 6, so we’ve had a lot of appointments. We arrive early to each visit and have the paperwork completed before arrival, yet we have yet to be brought back to start the visit within 30 min. of our scheduled time, waiting 45 min to an hour for over half of our visits. Be aware that you will need a solid 2 hours + in the office for each visit.

Fantastic experience: I was dreading my initial visit because it had been a while since I’ve been to the dentist. I just finished My initial visit. Turns out I had such a great experience and wanted to give a shout out to The whole crew of professionals at smiles of Rancho Cordova. First, I was able to get a 7:30 AM appointment which I appreciated. And then not only did they confirm my appointment with a personal phone call (and text) but Xavier offered me a couple options to move up my appointment. Being a new patient there is always a comprehensive check in which I was able to do on my phone; no clipboard & cheap pen. The whole process was great start to finish the crew sharp, informative, and so personable (even at 7:30 am). It is obvious they all really know what they’re doing; well trained an experienced. (No hard sell or scary scenarios) I was also pleased to see the SRC systems and equipment are all brand new. You can just tell they are using the latest and greatest software & equipment. I had such a great experience With the people & processes I was in and out quickly with lots of good Information, options, and a plan. Best dental experience I had to date. I can’t say enough about how great everybody was there.

Negative experience: I went I. For some dental work. During the work I was doing the paperwork with the receptionist. I was led to believe there was no credit check and stated that I didn’t want the work if there was due to the fact that I was buying a house and couldn’t have any inquiries or new accounts.. of course there was and my wife and I lost the home we were purchasing. I called and cancelled any future work. Since then the caps they put on have both fallen out and I continue to get calls from comenity bank for services I cancelled. The work here is shotty at best and the people who deal with the financing are liars. Period!!

Negative experience: My son and I had work done here. I have been to many dentist offices and had a lot of work done. By far this is the worst Dentist office I have ever seen. The only good thing about them is how fast they take your money. My son had some work done so I went in as well. After getting the worst service in my life and the most painful I told the family. Thats when my son finally had the courage to tell me he didn't feel right about the work either. After taking him to see another dentist, that dentist explained the horrible job done on this tooth. He had to get the work done all over again and now he has no complaint. I on the other hand had major work done that isnt something cheap to do. Now I will have to go to another Dentist to fix the horrible crowns they suggested I get. after almost 2 years I still cant chew on those that side of my mouth. Never ever going back to this dentist.

Fantastic experience: I had such a positive experience with this dentist office! They fixed my crown that fell off but I was most impressed with how I was treated. I was greeted by the nicest receptionist named Xavier. And then Jay, who took my xrays, was the kindest guy! He made me feel so comfortable with coming here for the 1st time! The dentist was also very nice! Overall I had a great experience and would recommend them to anyone on the area.

Negative experience: They have been absolutely awful to work with, I requested they refund us for a service we did not end up getting, which they had charged us for prior to even receiving the service and they have yet to give us the refund. I have visited their office twice in person and have called multiple times, they keep claiming they have processed but each time I get a different response. The last time I contacted them after previously assuring me multiple times it was issued they said it would take an additional 7-14 days! They have wasted so much of my time and given me the run around. Highly recommend you go elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: My previous experiences with dentistry have all been the same, not pleasant. The staff and fellow patients always grim and with no personality, quick to rush you through so as to get to the next person, terms and names that are foreign to most and no one wanting to take the time to explain them, the building having an odd smell and with everything being way over priced. So basically its like going to Starbucks except it doesn't smell as good and I always get stuck meeting with the lady from finance. The last part always throws me off. Im not buying a car and thats the only grill that id ever finance. Well im glad to say those experiences are a thing of the past now. Ive found Rancho Cordova Smiles Dentistry. I knew I was in need of some treatment, a root canal and a few cavities that had been previously diagnosed but I had been putting them off and now they were starting to hurt. They are close to my work and have a good variety of hours of operation so I called and they got me in. Not surprisingly my previous issues had not gone away and actually a few new ones had popped up hence the sudden onset of pain. What was surprising is what happened next. I got to meet with Dr. Kaur who did my check up then went over it and what was recommended to remedy these problems and get me back on the way to a healthier and pain free mouth. And she explained it in layman's terms. She even took the time to answer some other questions I had regarding my recent move to an electric tooth brush. We set up a treatment plan that allowed me to prioritize and get what was most urgent addressed immediately and the remainder at the first of the new year when my insurance benefits reset. And by immediately I mean just that. Once we had set up the treatment schedule she was back in the room with needles ready to go. Needles dont bother me. What does is keeping my mouth wide open for long periods of time. Maybe I have TMJ? I dont know but holding the mouth open is what hurts me the most when going to the dentist, even more so than the lady from finance. Im going to take a wild guess and say that bite blocks are not a really recent invention. However I had never heard of one, let alone was offered one until Dr. Kaur provided one to me. Im in my mid 40's and all the years and all the dentists ive been too never ever mentioned this miracle called the bite block even though I had told each and every one of them the pain I incur from holding my mouth open. After that it just got better. Next up was my deep root cleaning. Thats where I got to meet Jasmine. Ive been getting deep root cleanings for near 20 years now. Im a bad flosser, I get it. But in all those years this was the quickest, most comfortable and pain free cleaning ive ever received. As with Dr. Kaur she took time to explain what was going on. Usually I am positioned at an angle that ensures the back of my mouth and throat will pool all the blood and whatever else the hygienist is blasting loose (read as; nasty stuff) making me feel like im on the constant edge of drowning Ill refrain from making waterboarding jokes here. Jasmine had me at a good angle and I didnt have to endure that with this cleaning. She was also very conscious of what areas of my gums that were still sensitive even after the numbing shots. Everyone I met with from Ms. Tavares who checked me in, to Dr. Kaur, to Jasmine and finally Debbie who helped me schedule my next appointments when leaving was top notch. You guys set the bar high! Thank you very much, so glad to have found you. Updated 8/5/25, still very happy to report that im still getting excellent care from a group that I trust. Bella is now the office manager and is so patient with me and all my questions. Truly appreciate you all!!!

As a parent, finding the right dentist for your child can be stressful, but I’m so happy we found this place. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome and comfortable. The waiting area was bright, clean, and kid-friendly, which helped ease my child’s nerves right away. The Dental Assistant had a gentle, calming approach and was incredibly patient, taking time to explain each step in a way my child could understand. They even made it fun! My child left the appointment smiling and proud, already asking when we can go back—something I never thought I’d hear after a dental visit specifically with a non kid friendly decorative space but I truly appreciate the care, professionalism, and attention to detail. That never happened with her because she was constantly suctioning when there was too much water while cleaning was happening. She made me as comfortable as possible. Fantastic experience: I had not been to the dentist in an appallingly long time. I was nervous that it would hurt and afraid of how much it would cost. I called just to ask if they would take my insurance and ended up talking to the office manager. Before I knew it I was scheduled to come in that same day. The entire staff was kind and accommodating, I had the best experience and needed very little work. My husband and daughter are scheduled to see them this week. Fantastic experience: I was able to get my new patient exam and cleaning and scanned for a night guard all in one appointment. So happy Dr. Kaur and staff helped me get it all done! Dr. Kaur is awesome - knowledgeable and friendly. Glad to find a great dentist office close by.

Also the hygienist Alex was amazing as she went above and beyond to make sure my experience good when I got the deep cleaning. In fact, I’m looking forward to next week to go back for a second session.

Positive experience: Overall, it was a good experience. I came in 2.5 months ago, asking to look at my loose tooth. Turns out it had gum disease and should be removed as well as the adjacent tooth for the gum under it peas partially infected. They look at all my tooth and made recommendations. They sent me through some papers and get a credit approval through Smike Dentistry for all the work. At the time, it wasnt clear if this total bill would d include all the tooth they assessed? The not knowing the total costs and tooth coverage was the most negative feeling that I ever had. Better communication would really help the customer’s experience. Expectation was to take one tooth out, but the recommendation was to create a bridge. This means 2 tooth + another 2 tooth for bridge posts + 1 tooth to match frontal veneer to the new bridge. 5 actual vs. 1 expected when I came in. Again, the full disclosure and better communication up front could be much improved. The one customers killer is waiting around for hours instead of making an appointment for Onky time needed service. Overall, of the 4-5 visits I had from start to finish to take care of the #10 tooth and finalizing if permanent bridge, i estimated I wasted 6 -7 hours of just waiting. This 7 hours on my salary is $1500. so if they can improve scheduling time for people Only for service needed, not to have them sit and wait, it already improved the customers experience so much more than currently. Staff for the most part were friendly. Dentist and her assistants were great to me. However, I do not like the attitude of the front desk girl, when I had questions on being billed up front before complete service is rendered. For that girl: Customer-Service101!!!: You never argue or shout at customers even if they are wrong, in this case I wasn’t. A few dozen courses on customer service and waiting in line at the EDD should improve your attitude in the customer service business for the future. I am providing these feedback so they can improve the customer’s experience and customer’s time off from work needed.

Fantastic experience: I've never been a big fan of the dentist, so needless to say, it's been quite some time since I last had a dental exam. As someone who suffers from TMJ issues, it's never been a pleasant experience for me to keep my mouth open for extended periods of time while a stranger prods around my gum line and chastises me for neglecting my flossing routine. After losing my dental insurance, I gave this place a shot because they offer a full exam and cleaning for first time patients for $59. I've gotta say... this was the most comprehensive and thorough dental exam I've ever had in my life! They don't just take your run-of-the-mill x-rays... you also get a full 360 degree scan of your head in addition to a standard exam and teeth cleaning. All of this for $59! They provide you with a treatment plan for any necessary dental work and they discuss the costs upfront. Yes, dental work can wipe out an entire paycheck (or two... or three...) but they have extremely flexible payment options, whether you're paying out of pocket or going through insurance. My only disappointment was that I was not eligible for the standard teeth cleaning, as they recommended a deep cleaning for some of my teeth, but you'd think they'd still be able to clean the teeth that WERE eligible... Regardless, it was overall a great visit. I will definitely come back here for my dental work in the future!

Negative experience: Horrible time management. Forgot about me in the chair on two separate occasions for 30 min to an hour each time. The office called me and cancelled my appointment the day before 4 times. First visit - they forget about in the chair for over 45 min and then tell me that they don’t have time for a cleaning, so I need to come in again. In this visit there was a gum check, where one single measurement was in the worry zone, so the hygienist recommended $1,400 of laser treatments. When I returned the next day for the cleaning and consulted with a dentist, they agreed that was unnecessary overkill. Second visit 6 months later - they canceled my appointment the day before 4 TIMES IN A ROW! When I finally went in, they forgot about my cleaning AGAIN and left me in the chair for nearly 45 min before someone inquired. If the reception didn’t recognize me and ask, who knows how long I would have been there. If you value your time, don’t go here. Other than that, the staff are friendly, the facility is clean, and the equipment is in good condition. I hope they work out their scheduling problems since they have the potential to be a good office.

Negative experience: Very disappointed in this location. I tried to get my cleaning done, but I had to schedule at least 2 times and still NOT able to get done. 1st time: running late. 2nd time: no trained staff for cleaning. I guess it's time to look for another dental office for a simple work done.

Fantastic experience: Last month I visited Rancho Cordova Smiles. I had always taken good care of my teeth, but Covid really did me in. My mouth was a mess. I needed extensive work and they did a thorough and professional job. They explained everything they were doing and answered all of my questions. I would recommend them to my grandmother. Dr. Pinky and her supporting staff were outstanding.

Fantastic experience: I’ve only had maybe 3 dentists in my 46 years and just moved back to CA from GA so was a bit nervous trying out a new practice with only what I’d found online for reviews. Thankfully, Dr Pinky and her entire staff made the experience about as pleasant as a trip to the dentist could possibly be. Fixed my filling/crown on a days notice (and not for lack of business the place had a steady flow of clientele) which must be due to the professionalism they practice here. Will be coming back for hopefully cleaning visits only in the future!

Negative experience: It should not have been this hard to visit the dentist. I am so sad and demoralized. I went for my first visit in May 2024. I was there from 7AM-10AM. All they did was an xray, an exam and have me wait. They then tell me I need over 19k worth of care done... I just wanted a cleaning that my insurance covers... They scheduled me to have my wisdom teeth removed (my wisdom teeth don't even bother me.. never have!). For context, I have no teeth pain or discomfort and I had 3 cavities, all of this is preventative and to fill in the cavities. They also wanted me to do laser gum treatment... and a specialized cleaning and specialized cavity fill again I just wanted a simple cleaning, possible move onto filling in my cavities. I cancelled all the appointments they set for me because I am very very broke and I just wanted the cleaning my insurance covers. Months later I make an online appointment for a cleaning, only to come in (7AM, used PTO at work for this) and be told the hygienist was out and that I could do an exam and xray again instead.... Weeks later I called and made an appointment.. I specify I only want a cleaning and nothing else and only what the insurance covers. They said they would try but if the hygienist recommended extra work then I should follow their recommendations... They also tell me because it has been 6 months I need to do xrays again... and my insurance only covers 1 xray a year and I have already used mine. At this point it is comical. I say yes, I am ready to do xrays again and pay it out of pocket just so I could get my annual cleaning done. Guess what? Week later they called me and ask me to reschedule because the hygienist is out! LOL. I have found another dentistry and scheduled an appointment. They said the xray from May 2024 will work and I just need to send it to them. They also told me exactly what my insurance covers and what they don't cover and said they will only do what the insurance covers and what I want done. With all that being said, Rancho Smiles is the worst dentistry I have ever gone to. The staff is kind and polite and they are just doing their job. My issue is with the process and their standards. Their process should not be to ignore the patients requests of only doing what the insurance covers or to have their standard of making you do xrays out of pocket after 6 months. Their standards should not be to push expensive specialized treatments either. Their website should tell you when dates are unavailable so you do not schedule a cleaning on a date when the hygienist is out, or at least, calling you to cancel.

Fantastic experience: Very clean facility with a wonderfully helpful staff! I have been going to this location for several years and have no complaints! In particular I’d like to give a shoutout to Jordyn who is not only very informative and educated, but did a fantastic job on my cleaning and answering all questions I had.

Fantastic experience: In the past I had unpleasant experience with Dr. Noor, but let me say something! I had an exceptional experience with Dr. Kirandeep Kaur and her team. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and at ease. Dr. Kaur was incredibly kind, patient, and truly listened to my concerns, making the entire process so much easier than I expected. Her professionalism and gentle approach turned what could have been a stressful visit into a smooth and comfortable experience. I am beyond grateful for her care and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a compassionate and skilled dentist!

Fantastic experience: Jordyn (Dental Hygienist) was very friendly and helpful. Based on her advice from a previous appointment, I made adjustments to my dental regimen and saw an improvement in my gum health by the next visit. All other staff were also very nice and accommodating. Would recommend this practice to others.

Fantastic experience: Dr Lauren Gaddis and Jay, along with the other staff made my urgent visit a dream. They were caring each step of the way and so gentle. I have rarely had fillings installed without needing adjustments. The whole team worked well together and made short work of waiting, xrays and treatment time. I so appreciate all the team did for me!
