Negative experience: I had a visit 12/22 I arrived at an appointment at the wrong time they were able to find me fast opening in the same hour ! I received the best cleaning with the funniest , open , comforting staff EVERYONE was amazing 5 stars ! From the front desk to the dental dentist . The best part was the easy going calm dentist ALEX as well and a younger lady staff who made me laugh and feel comfortable with some dental history findings ! They explained to me everything easily and unjudgemental or forced !!!! Have been coming there since 8 I am 22 so definitely will be a family long term dental. ……. coming back up date : 7/29/26 totally rude and impatient front office people!!!! , the main dentist are always being rushed around and busy I have a major root canal screening referral that was never handled properly between offices in a year span I’ve been coming To the office since 7 years old and the random 2026 organization in this office is trash at this point .

Negative experience: This place is so unprofessional I had an appointment booked for Saturday drove an 110 mins to get there for them to say they don't see adults on Saturday they booked me an appointment for Monday drove another hour and ten mins for them to then tell me the dentist there isn't licensed to see CT people and refused to see me both times it was there fault and they're rude....

But they would put their finger in your mouth and then pick up a pen start writing and touching stuff and put their hands in your mouth with the same gloves on. When the team picks up the same pen without gloves. Germs

Fantastic experience: Friendly staff. The oral surgeon was quick and nice! Everyone has been such a big help and willing to take things slow. Also great with my kids.

Negative experience: Would NEVER return. Among one of the worst dentists I’ve encountered. No idea what they are talking about, not good at calling back. Only went for 1 appt and was told work couldn’t be done there which is fine but they will “refer” you to other dentists that don’t even treat that issue. I called one of them and was told that same provider (Cortland) keeps referring people to that office for services they don’t even offer. Luckily she was helpful and pointed me in the right direction. DO NOT GO HERE unless it’s your only option.

Negative experience: The employees are so disrespectful they do not know a thing about personal business! Lady said it was a reward to have colored braces while I was in a depressed state unable to take of myself properly. So much attitude it was simply embarrassing for me and them. She said many horrible things to make me feel shame. Would never recommend!

Fantastic experience: Went yesterday for a cleaning and exam. Alex gave me the best cleaning I’ve ever had. He was thorough and funny. It’s absurd how many patients he’s expected to see in an hour. But even with all that pressure he still managed to make me laugh and was great with the kids. Dr. Toledo did my exam. She's funny too. Even though the place seems very busy I still get a sense that they genuinely care for people. This place is low key nice for a dental office.

Negative experience: They take too long after your appointed time. I’m talking close to an hour. They run around in a rush through your appointment because of scheduling so many appointments for the same time. Can’t forget to mention the lady that came in to set up was slamming items loud and hard as if she was having a bad morning. Never once greeted me and my daughter. Quite friendly for a kids dental office. As long as she’s been here, she should know better. Reminds me of why I stopped coming here years ago. Just thought maybe things had changed.

Negative experience: I had a really frustrating experience with Cortland Dental and would not recommend this location. I scheduled an appointment ahead of time and showed up only to be told it was canceled because I didn’t confirm a text message the day before. There was no real follow up or consideration, just an automatic cancellation. That policy is extremely inconvenient and feels very unprofessional when patients take time out of their day to be there. There was also confusion about what I was even scheduled for. I booked a cleaning, but they had me down for a crown instead. That is not a minor mistake and it should have been clearly communicated beforehand. The front desk staff seemed overwhelmed and not very helpful. I was basically told they are booked out until May and that I should go somewhere else if I couldn’t wait. There was no effort to fix the situation or accommodate me after their mistake. Overall the experience felt disorganized and dismissive. I ended up going to Dental Dreams and they were able to get me in the next day without any issues. I would not recommend this place.

Negative experience: Cortland dental on st James is so disorganized and unprofessional I go to get my kid checked out as always and to those who know my daughter had severe eye tear duct problems wit her eyes so they are aware of that and they still ain't see her cuz they aint feel like it and yall didn't ask for proper documentation last time they seen it like that and treated her now it's a problem. Super disappointing disorganized and lack of communication

Negative experience: On two different occasions. I’ve brought my daughter here the first time she was a little nervous and instead of the dentist reassuring her and trying to keep her calm just instantly dismissed her and was like oh maybe she’ll do better at a different dentist spot then I just tried to bring her again, and because my daughter has issues with her eyes being inflamed, not pink eye, which they are aware of they did not see her, so I just spent money getting my daughter to an appointment that they wouldn’t see her at. Extremely frustrating won’t be coming back

Negative experience: Staff were wearing house slippers and blankets. No proper uniforms. Long wait as usual. Went in for a simple clean was there for 2 hours. “Kids play area” nonexistent. Front desk would be left unattended.

Sharie is always so joyful and helpful and always puts a big smile on our faces. Laykin is friendly and great at her job. My son understands exactly what he needs to do to care for his new elastics because of her. Grateful to have found this place!

Negative experience: VERY Unprofessional & Disrespectful. DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILD HERE!!! Expressed My Frustration Because We Had A 4pm Appointment & By 5pm My Daughter Had STILL Not Been Called In. Once My Daughter Was Called Back, The Staff Began Talking About Me Infront Of My Child, Saying They Would Be Mad If They Were "Broke" Like Me & It's Not Their Fault That I'm A Bum Who Has Worked At McDonald's My Entire Life. They Then Began To Tell My Daughter How Sorry They Were That She Had A MOTHER Like Me. Be CAREFUL Bring Yur Child Here. If They Would Do This To A 13 Year Old, Imagine What They Would Say & Do Infront Of Your Small Children Who Can't Relay A Message To You!!!

Positive experience: For the past month or more, I have been trying to get in touch with a live person,on the phone from both facilities Holyoke and Springfield. I just get an operator and they can’t make appointments. I’ve had a temporary crown in for the last at least a month I know my Crownmust be there. He said he’d call me. But I haven’t got a call yet. I’ll call on Monday and see what happens. there could be a mistake. They have always been a star five. Like I said, I’ll give them a call on Monday.

Fantastic experience: I’ve always been, shall we say, apprehensive (ok, terrified) when it comes to dental work. But Selena and Dr Moe managed to make the experience way less scary. I may even show up for my next appointment. Just kidding…I’ll be there!

Negative experience: Appt took 2 hours for a basic cleaning. No communication. Watching the office manager wipe her sweat from her boob area on her two male employees was disgusting. Place is dirty, staff is unprofessional, and no desire to be better.

Negative experience: So I called to schedule an appointment and my call was picked up by a “customer service agent” through a third party. It sounded like this “agent” was in Temu factory in saudi arabia. I could not understand or hear him very well and he was not understanding me well. He was pretty close to useless and did not provide any assistance. Last time I called for an appointment they scheduled one at the holyoke location while it was closed and I was unaware until I arrived for my appointment. Pretty good dentistry but the phone situation needs to be figured out.

Fantastic experience: Had to get some fillings and Dr. Moe and DA Selena did an outstanding job. When putting in the anasthesia, I didn't feel a thing, not even a pinch! They were very very nice as well! I didn't think Dr. Moe was going to remember what he told me during my last dental visit, but to my surprise he did! He was very kind and addressed every question I had. Thank you so much! ☺️

Fantastic experience: I had the best dental appt today with Dr.Moe he is very kind, he listens, he addressed any concerns I had, he had to use Novocain and for the first time I had minimal pain during the injections, I don’t know how he did it but I hope he is there next time I need treatment! I love the staff they are so kind and helpful especially Selena and Alicia! They have been my nurses through all the work I need, they both make me feel relaxed and safe, they both care a lot about my treatment plan and are very on top of what I have to do next, they are both fantastic! Negative experience: They had me sitting waiting for a hour and a half after taking my X-ray and didn’t even tell me anything about the X-ray and didn’t even update me on how long it might be anything mind you I’m here for an emergency appointment so I left work early for nothing and left without even finishing because I have things to do and I wasn’t planning on spending 3 hours at the dentist‍♀️ don’t take ppl to the back if ur not ready for them cuz I could’ve left after 30 min and been fine if I wasn’t called

Negative experience: My daughter and I arrived a half hour before her appointment. She was to have her teeth cleaned and sent next door to orthodontist. Took a half hour PASSED her initial time to be seen. Toom over an hour after that. Then, when coming next door, was told her appointment was canceled since we were a half hour "late" even though we were in the building. It's apparent on lack of communication with entire business. I'm still currently waiting here, as my daughter was only just called after waiting another half hour. She will be marked absent from school because of this now too! Very upsetting and the lack of communication as well as the attitude staff has is why I'm hoping to find a new place for my children to finish their dental treatments. This has been unacceptable to have to be here since 8:30 am and it is now 11:07 and still here!

Negative experience: The wait is was unbelievable I arrived 10 before my appointment and didn’t receive my paperwork until 20mins past my appointment then once inside cleaning was done had to wait for the doctor for another 22 mins my appointment was at 1:00pm and didn’t get to leave until 2:11 mins you X-rays or anything else was done

Negative experience: Listen my blood pressure was was too high to take me but my blood pressure is fine when I went to the doctor afterwards it would just Spike due to coffee so I don't understand why I wasn't seeing in at my mouth is still hurting

Negative experience: The wait is always extremely long no matter what time of day you go and it is always overpacked for a dentists office. The care is generic and you do not feel like an individual there. I took my child to a different dentist finally after witnessing a fight break out between 2 immature mothers where the cops had to be called. Alas they just missed the instigator because she fled. The place is a joke.

Negative experience: Wildly unprofessional and mismanaged. Showed up for scheduled appointments twice only to be told they couldn't see me today after waiting months and then tried to give me an appointment on the other side of the state. There's no getting my time back or the money spent on tolls and gas. I wouldn't even bother trying to book an appointment, they won't honor it and you will be disappointed
