I had the most amazing experience from the time I walked in the door until I left. From paper pusher to the nurses that never left my side.And Dr. Benzing is an incredible person inside and out. Fantastic experience: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wanted to share my experience with Dr. Benzing and the team at Nu Image in Holly Springs. I originally had a consultation on a Friday afternoon at the Cary office for a badly decayed lower wisdom tooth (#17). At that point I had some discomfort, but no swelling, stiffness, or anything that seemed urgent. We were discussing scheduling the extraction for the following Thursday or Friday. Within about 36 hours, things changed quickly over the weekend. The pain increased significantly, I developed swelling under my jaw, stiffness, and swallowing became uncomfortable. I called the after-hours line on Sunday expecting to leave a message and wait until Monday, but Dr. Benzing personally called back, listened to my symptoms, started me on antibiotics, and arranged to see me first thing Monday morning. The staff at the Holly Springs office was friendly, organized, and efficient, especially considering they worked me into the schedule on short notice. IV sedation was recommended for my case, Dr. Benzing's assistants handled me professionally throughout and the extraction itself felt like a magic show. One moment Dr. Benzing was getting started, and what felt like moments later the teeth and doctor had vanished! Two wisdom teeth were removed and the actual surgical portion seemed to take only about 15 minutes. The post-op medications, prescription rinse, and recovery instructions were clear and on point. They helped keep the recovery as comfortable as possible and healing progressed quickly. I was also impressed by Dr. Benzing's follow-up and availability. He personally returned my weekend call, helped manage the situation before surgery, and continued to monitor my recovery afterward. That level of responsiveness made a stressful situation much easier to navigate. Most importantly, the swelling and symptoms that had escalated over the weekend started improving quickly afterward. The combination of Dr. Benzing's responsiveness, clinical judgment, and the professionalism of the staff made a stressful situation much easier to deal with. Fantastic experience: We have been to Dr. Benzing several times and have always had great experiences. Check in is quick and easy, and they always have you back at your scheduled time. From the receptionist, nurses, doctor and any one else we have encountered here have always been very friendly and answered any questions we have had. Even received after hours call to checkup and make sure everything was going well and to make sure we didnt have any further questions! Would definitely reccomended.

Fantastic experience: For periodontists, it doesn't get any better than Dr. Rivero! Her and her whole staff are excellent. I had to have gum grafts done in all four quadrants and even though each round of surgery was a challenge especially recovery, Sr, Rivero and her team made it as painless as possible and the end results speak for themselves. I can't thank them all enough for taking care of me and helping me maintain my oral health. Highly recommend!!!

Negative experience: Went back after having my wisdom teeth removed for a suspected infection and they didn’t even look in my mouth or take my concerns seriously. I was told to wait another week. There is no reason why I should have even been told to come back to the office to be looked at when they only said stuff that could have been said on the phone.

Fantastic experience: Firstly, I want to thank Dr. Benzing for the experience and how personal he is. I brought a book (Fellowship of the Ring) with me before I went under to calm any of my nerves by distracting me. Dr. Benzing walks in, sees my book, and has a real full conversation with me about the book series, and how the singing sections killed him . I found this so wholesome and unique that a Doctor would take time out of his busy schedule and to speak with me as an equal. To top it all off, Dr. Benzing contacted me personally the evening after my surgery to make sure that everything is going well, and that I can contact him personally if I have any need. With that said about Dr. Benzing, the staff were just as personal and loving and truly treated me well. Fantastic experience: I recently had oral surgery at Nu Image in Holly Springs. Dr. Benzing and his staff were amazing. I had several teeth removed and.some other work done. When I arrived, I was very nervous. Nobody wants their teeth removed. His staff made me feel very comfortable and calm. When Dr. Benzing came in, he explained each step and told me about different options I have with replacements in the future. Then he called me that night and ask how I was feeling. I would recommend Nu Image to everyone.

Fantastic experience: After developing sudden tooth pain midday, I was able to get a late afternoon appointment at my regular dentist. Things went downhill pretty quickly and I had a sudden and somewhat unexpected need for emergency dental care/extraction. Although after hours, my dentist was able to reach Dr. Benzing on his mobile. These two dental professionals who were working late on my behalf coordinated an early morning procedure expedite and aid my discomfort. I certainly don’t get excited about unplanned tooth extractions, associated expenses, and predictable discomfort. I’m also skeptical and a methodical decision maker, and prefer time to do my homework. But my condition did not allow for this so I was particularly unsettled and anxious for this first time extraction early the next day. I cannot overstate how professional and assuring the staff at Nu Image were the next morning. I was in the best possible shape ahead of my procedure. However, I was also given the doctor’s mobile phone number and instructions to contact him if they were any issues over the weekend. As it was my first rodeo, I called twice that night and was offered reassurance of what was normal and what was not. This was the type of treatment I would expect at resorts and spas! And here I was just 24 hours after my minor crisis in great shape and in touch with again Dr. Benzing. I simply wanted to highlight the great care and culture of this Holly Springs Nu Image location. And while I hope to not return again for similar dental issues, I hope some other reader will find this review assuring and know that you’re in good hands.

Fantastic experience: My daughter had 4 permanent teeth pulled at the same time to prepare for braces. Dr. Lee and the entire staff was incredible. I felt comfortable, well-informed, and am pretty sure I would be good friends with the nurse who got her prepped, played her favorite music and created a great experience for this nervous mama (I think it was Keana?). Dr. Lee called personally to check on Ella and that perineal touch made me feel like medicine is human again. Well done!!

Fantastic experience: The Nu Image Team in Holly Springs have quite the organized system for wisdom teeth removal. All the staff that my daughter encountered were super nice and helpful. Dr. Lee did the removal in under an hour! We were sent home with very thorough post operative care instructions. They answered my call later about pain meds and Dr. Lee checked on her in the evening. They made a scary event much easier. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing wisdom teeth removed.

Fantastic experience: The staff at NU Image in Holly Springs is amazing. I checked out the reviews before choosing them for my daughter and they really lived up to the good reviews. The staff were all so attentive to her needs and anxiety. Dr. Benzing is a reminder that some people truly go into the field of medicine to actually care for patients. And Rayna (sp?) spent extra time with my daughter, providing distractions to ease her anxiety and letting my daughter show off her Minecraft world. If you have neurodivergent children this location is the right choice.

Negative experience: Had my wisdom teeth removed and lost feeling in my lip and chin. Its been a year and my life was like. Forever altered. I've heard Benzing is wonderful when surgery goes well, but this did NOT go well. He kept gaslighting me and telling me I actually could feel my face? Very strange. Also one told me that could happen but I guess I should have done more research. Anyway don't go here if I had made a different choice I could have saved myself a lifetime of problems and lowkey misery. Im only 26 :(

Fantastic experience: My daughter just had her wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Benzing. It was a very smooth process. She is getting by with just advil and Tylenol as needed, very little swelling and has a very clear after care process that the team provided her with. Everyone was very kind and made my daughter feel comfortable with the whole process. Dr. Bending followed up to make sure she was doing ok and also gave us his cell phone number to reach out if any immediate issues arose over the Christmas holidays.

Fantastic experience: Wisdom tooth extraction had been my biggest fear and i kept delaying the procedure for over an year until i had a consultation with Dr. Lee and her assistant at the Cary office, they sounded very professional and promising, explained everything in detail and made me feel like home. Fast forward to 2 weeks, today i had my surgery at Holly Springs office and i couldnt ask for any better experience. The whole team is incredibly caring and compassionate. The warm blanket made me feel so cozy. 2 wisdom teeth and a fractured moral was extraced along with bone grafting under sedation, procedure was very smooth and pain-free. Both of my surgical assistants were very sweet and friendly. Also post-op medication and care was great. I can’t thank them enough and highly recommend them to anyone seeking exceptional, pain-free care.

Fantastic experience: Went in for wisdom teeth extraction. Bridget took me back with my wife, got me hooked up on monitors, and explained post surgery care to us. She even highlighted the relevant items on a pamphlet to help us remember. Dr. Benzing came in, confirmed the details, then made quick work. Next thing I know I'm told it's done and time to leave.... Bridget made sure my wife received some ice cream for me before we left. Overall great experience, would recommend.

Negative experience: I had a very traumatic experience with wisdom tooth extraction surgery. They gave me a sedation medication that they said (in the initial visit) would be generally ok for my case (breastfeeding) but just to be sure, they said they will send me a full list of the medications that will be used so that I would run it by our pediatrician to make sure it's safe for my baby who is under 6 months of age (completely dependent on my breastmilk for nutrition) I never received that list and I called their office few days before the surgery to ask about it, they transferred me to voicemail and didn't get back to me at all. (even though they sent me an automated reminder of the surgery's appointment which means they had my correct contact info) Due to the deep pain I was feeling I rellyed on what was told to me in the beginning that the medications will be generally ok and went ahead with the surgery but then during or after the surgery and even before I woke up, they told my husband that I will need to dump my breastmilk for the first 24hrs and not feed it to my baby- which wasn't told to me at any point- causing distress to my entire family. So when I got home I called them to understand if this was true so they confirmed and the dr called and just said "sorry, we won't do this again" or something like that"!!! As if this empty apology would bring safe drug-free milk to feed my baby!!! Also after the surgery for some reason the moment I opened my eyes they sent a nurse to take me right out of the facility. While I was still under the influence of the sedative medications and I was barely awake. and without talking to anyone about how the surgery went or the aftercare.

Negative experience: I was recommended to Nu Image by my dentist for a consult for dental implants. They could not accommodate my work schedule so I asked if they could make an exception and see me at 7am when they open. The answer was no without any communication or flexibility. The front desk ladies are warm and fun and both of our surgical assistants have been great. My 15 year old had all 4 bony and impacted teeth and didn’t even have any swelling!! Very little pain. Fantastic experience: I am a Periodontist in Hillsborough NC and when my daughter needed her wisdom teeth out, the ONLY person I would trust with her sedation and extractions is Dr Bill Benzing. Fantastic experience: Dr Benzingand his staff at NuImage in Holly Springs are amazing! As a senior with medical issues, dentristy has not been my primary concern for a couple of years. When I was slammed with a horrendous toothache, I needed help quickly. My local dentist (Main Street) worked me into their schedule very quickly and, after locating a sizable cavity, referred me to Nu Image. I was given an appt 2 days hence, but received a call bumping me up to an earlier time. At 7:00 am, Dr Benzing examined my tooth; staff scheduled lab work with my doctor; and at 1:00 pm, I had my wisdom tooth extracted!! (I dont remember anything after stating that I like George Jones and country music). Dr Benzing and called that evening to check on my condition and texted me the next day. I can’t imagine getting better attention and care anywhere else. I was provided water, a warm blanket, answers to all my questions and concerns and received excellent care. I’ve experienced no pain since the extraction and appear to be doing very well. I highly recommend Dr Benzing and his staff. Thank you Dr Benzinger and staff!

Fantastic experience: Just had my second procedure at Nu Image. I can't express what a great experience it was. The entire staff is so helpful, friendly and compassionate. Dr. Bending is wonderful! I stress really bad when it comes to periodontal work. They made the experience relaxing and easy for me. Also, surprisingly, the pain from both procedures was minimal. I highly recommend the Holly Springs office.

Fantastic experience: Having put off my surgery for years I finally decided to get it done recently. The entire office staff from the initial consult and up to the day of surgery were completely professional and Dr. Benzing was amazing, I remember him saying you will be back in the car in 30 minutes and nothing after that lol. But they put me at ease and I have not really experienced any issues.

But not Dr. Benzing..He instantly fostered a sence of trust by his concern, care and charisma. I had a rather difficult problem but his confidence never wavered in his resolution to help me. The procedure was a great success. It was painless . Fantastic experience: My college-age son needed unexpected, significant surgery on his gums with just ten days left before he had to return to school out of state. Our dentist referred us to periodontist Dr. Rivero at Nu Image and our experience was excellent. The office accommodated our need to be seen for a consult the very same day, in the Cary office. Surgery was scheduled two days later in Holly Springs. Dr Rivero explained that she chose the most complex grafting technique in order to assure a lifetime restoration. At the same time she was sympathetic and willing to work us in, allowing as much healing time as possible at home before my son left to “nurse himself” (in a dorm room!) Aftercare was explained very thoroughly and it was clear that we were to call with any concerns or questions. It was a tough recovery ( like wisdom teeth level) that was managed with all the pain relief options available, including analgesic rinses and ointments. The level of care given was impressive. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I had my third implant completed today at Nu Image of Holly Springs. Dr. Benzing is incredibly talented and very efficient. I felt no pain and the procedure was over in 15 minutes. Amazing staff and doctor. I highly recommend Nu Image for implants and other dental procedures requiring true experts at what they do. Fantastic experience: Highly recommend nu image! I just got my wisdom teeth out yesterday and was very nervous about everything. When I got called back my mom was able to be there with me for the first part which i loved and every assistant/nurse made me feel comfortable and not worried. Fantastic experience: Dr Benzing and his staff were amazing! I was very anxious to get my wisdom teeth out and they were very reassuring. They answered any questions that I had and they also sent me home with Ice cream. Not only did Dr Benzing call and check up on me to see how I was doing hours after the surgery, he also texted me the next day so I had his number incase I had any questions. This office is very professional and I could not have asked for a better experience!

I’ve had to get three teeth extracted, and every time, Dr. Benzing and his staff were super gentle and made sure I was comfortable. They always talk to you and help distract you, so you don’t feel nervous or focus on any pain (which is usually very little!). They work quickly but carefully, making sure everything is done right. I’m really happy with how my teeth turned out, and if I ever need to have another tooth extracted, I’ll definitely go back to Dr. Benzing. The staff is so patient, kind, and helpful, and overall, I had a great experience every time."

Negative experience: Terrible experience. My daughter was left in a treatment room hooked up to an IV with no one to check on her or give an explanation as to why her surgery was over an hour delayed. Then lied to about the delay when we decided to leave. Do not recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: got my wisdom tooth extracted from here and have to say it’s the best place I reached to get it done as my anxiety is extravagantly high. Although I did my consultation with Dr. Lee and the team, I had to switch to Dr. Benzing as I caught a cold a week before my surgery and Dr. Lee wasn’t available in the week following. I want to point out the nurse Ashley who easily spotted the nerve and didn’t poke much to place the IV (mine was very deep down). Many thanks to her for trying to console me before surgery, as I really felt not to go ahead at that moment. I left everything to Jesus and to the hands of Dr. Benzing. Post operative recovery was seamless, although I felt some discomfort on the 5th day but it was manageable. God and family by my side, and a good doctor like Benzing, did made it all possible and I experienced less pain afterwards, which I believe is due to the expertise of the doctor as this was very close to a nerve. Once again, I am grateful to all I encountered here at NuImage Surgical and Dental Center. I highly recommend this place due to the compassionate nature of the people and expertise of the doctors (Dr. Benzing and Dr. Lee) I dealt with throughout. Thank you!!
