Negative experience: August 26 update: I've changed my rating for this dental office While the work done was good and people pleasant, when it came time to refuting a legitimate claim with Liberty Dental, I got no assistance or follow up from this dentist. No calls for discussion after asking for their support follow up with a 243.00 claim I paid out of pocket to protect my credit. Health Insurance has taken a steep downward turn and, for me, so has dental offices. Customer service and communication are just as important. Update: third visit seals the deal! Periodontal Cleaning by Sabrina just awesome! Dawn at front desk is a delight! So great to have a Great dental office! Ok, second visit again 5 stars! Dr. Patel with her very capable assistant Tamara provided a painless experience! Dr. Patel is gentle but her work is precision. No pain or discomfort. I'm a brand new patient so I can only base my comments on first experience... Front reception Staff, Dawn and Mike are Awesome, personable, helpful and welcoming. Sabrina the hygienist is awesome and thorough will all the X-rays and explanation. Made me very confident. Dr. Patel is lovely, thorough and kind. I feel very confident now.

Fantastic experience: From start to finish, everyone was very courteous, friendly and Professional. The front desk took me quickly, collected the necessary information and offered me water. I was taking quickly into the examining room and was introduced to the dental hygienist. Upon hearing that I gagged when x-rays were taken, she actually held the x-ray in my mouth while another tech recorded the x-ray shortening the time and the uncomfortableness dramatically. She explained everything quite thoroughly and professionally and when the doctor came in showed me the x-rays. When the doctor arrived, she also showed me the x-rays and showed me the areas where I needed the corrections. The office accountant came in and explained the cost for each of the interventions and the pieces that my insurance would cover, and that I would be responsible for. I was very pleased with the overall efforts of all the people involved and will definitely return.

Fantastic experience: Just visited for my second time and they continue to impress. From the minute you walk in the door you can feel the welcoming energy. The dentist can easily be an unpleasant experience but the entire staff makes sure you’re comfortable the entire visit. I was constantly asked if I needed anything and if I was doing okay during my visit. Dr. Patel was incredible, my dental hygienist Nicole was amazing as well! They do all the little things right and I will definitely be coming here for a while. I absolutely recommend to anyone in the area!

Filled four areas all done great. Really good with Novocain needle. Gentle. Her asst also did a great job. They all kept me up to date on all aspects of the work The front desk was fantastic too. Receptionist was very welcoming and showed appreciation for my loyalty to their practice. As always, a great visit!! 12/8/25 appointment - Had teeth cleaned and XRays. Dr Patel did my cleaning because the hygienist was out. She is the nicest lady and did a great job with my teeth. She was also very gentle. She then reviewed my x rays with me and helped me better understand what needs to be done moving forward. Her assistant was also very nice and helpful along with the whole staff from check-in to paying being very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Beaver Creek Dental. I just finished my cleaning and exam 7/31/23. Hygienist ( Dominique) did an excellent and thorough job. Made sure I was doing ok t throughout the work. Dr Bell was excellent as usual!! This was my second visit (7/5/22) Things continue to be excellent. Receptionist was very friendly and welcoming - also thanked me for visiting them Dr Bell was thorough and informative and also welcoming Stefanie - my hygienist did an excellent job as always along with having a friendly and kind way about her. She also remembered me from our last visit which is always nice. Highly recommend this dental office!!! First visit Very welcoming and exam/exRays were comprehensive- hygienist- Stephanie - was super nice and explained everything she was doing. Dr Bell was very nice also and took the time to fully explain everything she found. This was my first visit here and felt very comfortable. They also explained all costs for treatments recommended and different payment plans.

Negative experience: 5 stars to Dr Patel and hygienists , but 1 star to the referral coordinator/admin/front desk . Kids were referred to a specialist but when I reached the specialist , one kid’s X-ray was forwarded to the facilty but not the other kid’s. While at the specialist office I called Beaver creek common dental and they wanted me to fill record of release form. The admin should have told me about this when the referral was done, not when I am at the specialist. We are not medical experts to know all these. They forwarded the xray to my email but I wasn’t able to forward it to the specialist facility due to domain restriction. Ended up taking a new xray.

Positive experience: Very good experience. I usually dread going to the dentist, but Dr. Bright and his assistant made it as pleasant as possible. I have been there, with Dr. Bright and his same assistant, (I wish I could remember her name,) 3 times over the last month for different procedures, and I am pleased with the results. I hope they both stay at that practice for a long time as I notice in the dental industry there does seem to be some turnover. It is hard to find a good dentist you feel comfortable with.

Negative experience: I had multiple visits with them and last time They didn’t checked with my insurance coverage and did the treatment upfront and after paying estimate they sent me big bill saying insurance is not covering and you have to pay it. I won’t recommend and never going back to them.

Negative experience: I have been a patient here for almost 2–3 years and never had any issues until recently. I’ve always paid my bills on time and in full, and I genuinely trusted this clinic. Before my last cleaning, I clearly asked both the front desk and the nurse if the procedure would be covered by my insurance. I specifically told them that if it was not covered, I would not proceed. I was assured—more than once—that it would be covered. A couple of months later, I received a call saying my insurance had rejected the claim and that I now owed money. When I explained that I would never have gone ahead if I hadn’t been assured of coverage, instead of trying to understand or resolve the situation, they sent the balance straight to a debt collection agency. What was most disappointing was the complete lack of empathy or discussion. As a long-term, loyal patient who has always paid on time, I expected at least a conversation before being sent to collections. Instead, they simply defended themselves by saying they “can’t guarantee coverage,” even though they clearly did assure me when I asked multiple times. Because of how this was handled, I have now asked to be removed as a patient and will not be returning. Trust is extremely important in healthcare, and unfortunately, this experience completely broke mine.

Negative experience: Don't go here. I won't go into detail but I have had 3 different experiences that were completely inappropriate which resulted in me paying a lot more than I should have. I kept trying to give them a chance, thinking that maybe I was just a bad patient. After the 3rd and having had great experiences at other dentists, Nah it's them.

Positive experience: Visited for an emergency dental issue for Mom visiting us with no dental insurance. Very professional approach and overall all a pleasant environment. Dental office website says they work with non insurance but the bill I got for a tooth refilling was bit of a surprise $450. I would still go there with my insurance but for non-insurance not the best option! This negative review is not for the Dr., services or staff, they are amazing, just the billing part, way expensive than average.

Negative experience: This was a first-time visit to "in network practice" with new insurance. I went for 6 mos checkup and teeth cleaning on 5/6. After probing for gum recession, I was scheduled for "deep cleaning" in upper right quadrant to insert antibiotic for gum redness. I asked for time to consider this "other treatment" instead of regular cleaning. Hygenist said dentist would have to okay that but was too busy to talk until perhaps Mon. 5/12. Evaluation: unhappy that I could not get a regular cleaning like I have done every year at other dentists. After consulting another hygenist who recommended waiting on gums to improve on own, I am leaving this practice and going to another who promises a regular cleaning. Grade D for not respecting my choice on my dental care.

Negative experience: My experience at Beaver Creek Commons Dental reflected a troubling pattern of unprepared staff and questionable billing practices. At first the services looked good and I was happy with it but later realized we have faced misdiagnoses and insurance headaches. I won’t go there again.

Negative experience: No stars, I get an email for a cleaning from my dentist that I am a patient at for years. I show up for my cleaning and they try to upsell me for approx. $500 in services for a cleaning that’s supposed to cost $100 or so. Then they try to get me to sign something telling me, “…it’s just saying that I showed this to you…”; but, that was not what it said. Then, they tell me, “…that in NC it is illegal for them to do a cleaning for me if I don’t get the other services”. Claiming further that they need current X-rays just to clean my teeth and their last X-rays from a year ago would not suffice. Definitely a scam! Buyer beware of this B.S. and Dr. Patel is the one behind this!

Fantastic experience: Even though they had a backed up schedule, I was in a chair within 5 minutes of arriving. Dr. Bright and the rest of the staff were very professional and friendly, and I knew I was being taken care of well. The office was clean and comforting, and I had no issues with payment at the end of the visit. I’m happy to be starting my Invisalign treatment there, and I’ll be going back for all treatment going forward!

Negative experience: I felt as though I was on an assembly line. After my cleaning, a picture of one tooth took several time to take. Staff didn’t know how to use the equipment to do that. Then I was told someone would come in to tell me about the cost of the service that they said was needed. No one came in. I finally got up and walked around to find someone. She took me to the front desk where they were going to email me the info. Should have done hat in the first place. Oh and the trash can in the exam room is filthy.

My experience, like many others, was marred by unprepared staff and questionable billing practices. Unprepared for Patients The staff seemed completely overwhelmed by basic tasks. They wasted a significant amount of time trying to verify my dental insurance, something they should have done beforehand. This resulted in them falsely claiming I was late due to their own inefficiency. Misdiagnoses & Insurance Headaches Even more concerning were reports of misdiagnoses and insurance issues. Several reviewers, myself included, encountered situations like pay out-of-pocket despite valid insurance. This raises serious red flags about the accuracy of their diagnoses and their overall transparency with billing. A Pattern of Problems One reviewer came in for a cleaning but left with an unnecessary, overpriced procedure. Another was wrongly diagnosed with cavities, only to be told later they were just chips. My experience with insurance issues adds to this concerning pattern. Seek Care Elsewhere If you're looking for a professional, efficient, and transparent dental experience, look elsewhere. This office seems more interested in creating unnecessary hassle for patients than providing quality care. New patients, heed our warnings! There are far better dentists in the area who will respect your time, money, and smile. Response added: 7/25/2024: The insurance information was provided to you right away whenever I received the text information for appointment reminder. My appointment was at 3:30 PM. I had sent all the information at 11:07 PM. You had good long 4 hours to just make a call to insurance company and verify before my appointment. Also asking me to pay out of pocket when I had insurance was totally unacceptable. Please delete all my information from your system, you also took my SSN number for no reasons. I am afraid looking at your bad reviews you may also misuse the information in your system.

Negative experience: Would NOT recommend. Honestly malpractice. Lied about diagnosis — they claimed 3 cavities, but upon coming in for next appointment they said it was actually just chips. During procedure they said they couldn’t floss between two teeth so they widened the space (painful). Now there is no contact between the teeth, leaving a gap where food gets stuck every meal. Now need to find a different dentist for filling to prevent the tooth decay caused by food trap. Edit: I was not the patient, my partner was and now he has to spend potentially hundreds of dollars to fix Beaver Creek Dental’s mistake.
