Fantastic experience: I had a great experience at Preston Dental Loft with Dr. Patel, who is known as the Invisalign Queen in the area, and she has won Diamond Plus Awards every year. Even in 2026, she won The Best Dentist Award in Triangle Magazine for her dedicated work. She is the best dentist I ever had. Dr. Patel has total of 20+years of outstanding experience. She runs her office with the most advanced new technology and the latest technics in her field. I highly recommend Dr. Patel and her knowledgeable kind hearted team of wonderful staff. They took their time with me during my teeth cleaning and crown procedure made right in the office. They even used a laser to ease my pain immediately. I felt really well taken care of during the entire appointment. I also loved in her neat and clean office, where I could choose my lavender essential oil during my treatment. Thank you Dr. Patel and Staff !

Fantastic experience: I know some people might find it weird to like going to the dentist... BUT at this dentist office you can get a lavander scented neck pillow and listen to your favorite tunes while they clean your teeth to perfection ✨️. Essentially a teeth spa haha Everyone I've interacted with at the office has always been so knowledgeable and kind. AND Dr.Patel is wonderful! When I was pregnant she gave me a heads up on all the weird stuff my teeth and gums could do while I progressed through pregnancy. As well as what to keep an eye out for and definately come in for if concerned. It was so nice having this info as I had no idea! This is our family dentist (my lil one too once he has teeth haha). Love this office, highly recommend!

Dr. Patel has great concern for her patients and listens with a kind ear, answering all your questions, devising a plan for ongoing excellent dental health. I have been Dr. Patels patient for 6 years and am so very pleased. What a difference she has made in my dental well being and also helping me create a beautiful smile. I recently had a gum procedure administered by Preston Dental Loft hygienist Rachael. Another true professional! Rachael went out of her way to make sure I was at all times comfortable and pain free from the procedure. I appreciated her calmness, working at a steady pace and checking with me often to make sure I was O.K. I have to go back in a week for the second half of the gum procedure and have NO hesitations. I know I am being treated by the best dental team, who truly care and want my dental health to be excellent for a lifetime!! Highly recommend Dr.Patel and Preston Dental Loft!

Negative experience: I have been going to Dr. Patel for almost 4 years. Today after my teeth cleaning the hygenist had me wait for Dr. Patel to just come and review my X-rays and she was going to bring my Floride. I waited and waited and after 10 min. I got up looked down the hall to see anyone. I decided to check out and leave. 3 times I have waited for Dr Patel while sitting in the chair. One time I came for sealants on my molars and waited 45 min in the chair for Dr. Patel to come in and start. Lots of apologies from the staff. When I told them I was as leaving, a second part time dentist came in and completed the work… he was wonderful and apologized. One time I sat in the waiting room an extended length for my appointment, I asked the desk when I was going to be seen. She told me they were just finishing up a meeting of all the staff and my hygenist will be out soon. I bought a dental cleaning package, love the staff, but Dr. Patel should not make clients wait like I have repeatedly… I just think their scheduling of patients is terrible. They close at 4 pm and are not open on Friday’s. They need to fix there office scheduling before I would recommend Dr. Patel.

Each and every single interaction I had with the team members were so kind and it really reminded me of back in the day similar to a mom and pop office. The even offer warm towels and blankets! Negative experience: Very disappointed in the work that was done to "fix" my teeth! Way too much money for things that didn't need to be done. Thousands of dollars spent to have a nice smile and feel worse about it then before Dr. Patel started the work. Almost feel like this dental office is quick to recommend/push procedures just so they can get more money. Do not recommend. Have had 3 other dentists since moving away from Cary and they couldn't believe how bad the work was in my mouth. Do NOT go here unless you just want to waste your time and money.

Fantastic experience: I have had a great experience with Dr. Patel and her assistants over the past 9 years! I did Invisalign in 2018. I have a smile that I get compliments on almost daily! I got my wisdom tooth extracted today. In my case it was painless and smooth. Everyone was so kind and welcoming from the front desk to the operation chair. I left with an idea of how long it would take to heal, how to manage the pain, and avoid complications. Dr. Patel also took the time to double and triple reexamine a tooth that was scheduled for a filling and found that it was not a cavity but a teeny tiny characteristic that has existed in my X-rays going back 9 years. It feels good knowing I’m taking care of my health and preventing future issues with a detail oriented and supportive team.

I haven’t been to the dentist in years as I haven’t been able to find a good one and then just putting it off for way to long. My brother recommended I go see Dr Meenal. Dr Meenal and her team specifically Stephanie and Amy did a great job. They made me feel like family and thoroughly went through everything with me to understand all of my dental questions and concerns. The Dental Hygienist, Kela, was AMAZING. She cleaned my teeth in such a professional and caring way. There was no pain and she checked on how I felt throughout the entire process. I absolutely adored her personality too. I then met Dr. Patel! She greeted me with a smile and conducted herself in a professional, but fun manner. She examined me after the cleaning and did an amazing job highlighting, explaining, and educating me on what my next steps should be for better oral health. Fantastic experience: Great session at Preston Dental Loft today. Had two crowns replaced, cavity filling and teeth whitening. Dr. Patel and Stephanie (her assistant) were both at the top of their game. The visit wasn't "fun", but it was professional, essentially pain-free and even entertaining. I love having the crown creation done on site, meaning that I didn't have to have temporary crowns installed nor do I have to go back to have the permanent ones installed. I highly recommend this dental practice. I've been going there since Dr. Patel took over the practice, and I wouldn't consider going anywhere else.

After looking up several of the recs, I went with Preston as it was woman owned and that was enough to convince, but after I made my first appointment I know I chose the right place! DR. The front desk staff, Greg and Paula, were exceptional, simplifying the check-in process and clarifying my insurance coverage and out-of-pocket expenses. My consultation with Dr. Patel and her team was highly professional, and they went above and beyond to schedule my tooth extraction surgery that same day, as the decayed tooth required immediate removal. The surgery, performed by Dr. Kashyap, Dr. Patel, and their team, was smooth and painless. As a first-time dental surgery patient, I was apprehensive, but they reassured me, and the procedure was quick. They thoughtfully provided a massage chair and blankets to help alleviate pre-surgery anxiety, which was a kind gesture. One of the best cleanings ever! Of course Dr Patel was her amazing self and let me know what is being monitored and will need work (due to cracks) in the next few years.

Fantastic experience: Dr Patel is the GOAT!! She has helped me in so many more ways than helping keep my teeth healthy! She has helped me with my gum recession and is currently working with me on sleep apnea. She does more than simply treat the patient, she truly cares and takes a “whole patient approach.” I moved to the coast of NC 8 years ago, but wouldn’t dream of leaving Dr Patel as my dentist! I drive three hours each way to see her and she’s well worth the time and gas!

Positive experience: Preston Dental Loft is truly a gem. I recently moved to the area and I was looking for a dentist (ASAP) because I chipped a tooth. The initial phone call was comforting. Thankfully I was able to get an appointment within a couple of days after finding out they accepted my insurance. On the day of my first appointment EVERYONE in the office was welcoming. Dr Patel took time to talk about my dental treatment plan. I have only been in office a couple of times but this office has demonstrated compassion and professionalism. These are two important characteristics in which I feel my provider needs for me to build trust and a long lasting patient/provider relationship. So glad I found you all!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a patient for 2 years now. I can’t recommend Dr Patel enough. The whole office is so kind and they take a very conservative approach to major dental work, which is greatly appreciated. I always love coming to the dentist now, and I’ve never said that before! My original post 2 years ago: I originally came here for Invisalign and was absolutely blown away by how genuine and caring the staff is. Dr Patel was nice enough to do a virtual consult first, and was so patient and helpful. At one point I think I asked, is this for real?? She was that sweet! Next, we scheduled an appointment in person. You can really tell how much she cares about helping her patients. Everyone that worked on me had such a positive demeanor, and you can tell that they really love working there. Fast forward 6 months and my teeth are straight again, and I am so excited to smile again! I was so happy with my experience, that I left my current dentist (who’s across the street from my house in Raleigh), and will do all future work at this practice!! Trust me when I tell you that this practice is like no other. I couldn’t be happier!

I did not plan on establishing care with a new dentist for all of my routine exams and cleanings, I was just inquiring about the invisalign treatment, but I will be happily returning for any needs here on out. Also, their online and in-person advertising and social media presence is spot on for gaining new patients!

However, my experience here today was so amazing and caring I felt I needed to make sure everyone knows how amazing this place is. I am terrified of the dentist. From being uninsured to just the terror of having your teeth picked at. I was not looking forward to this visit. Then I met Dr. Patel and her staff. I cannot believe how caring and wonderful they were. From the essential oil pillow to calm me to making sure I get the care I need even without insurance. Dr. Patel and her staff go above and beyond. Negative experience: Called back in 10 min after appointment to cancel the treatment, nobody picked up the phone. Next day was told it was too late and $250 will be charged. Think twice before committing, they are not disclosing the cancellation terms and rush you to sign the paper during their frequent "invisalign events"

Fantastic experience: I moved to Raleigh last year and have been looking for a good dentist. So happy with my experience here! Amy signed me in and was very helpful and knowledgeable when dealing with my insurance. Then Craig showed me around to help me familiarize myself with the place. Once given a little care package, I was greeted by Stephanie and asked about any concerns. Emily then came in and took several X-rays and scans taking care to keep me comfortable. I don’t get very nervous at the dentist, but there is always a bit of tension. Not here! Everyone made me feel like we had been longtime friends. And then of course Dr. Patel was great. Super knowledgeable and friendly (the entire staff is). I definitely found my forever dentist!

Fantastic experience: This dentist office is Amazing! They are high tech and high comfort. During my first visit they performed 3D scans, evaluated everything and Dr. Patel discussed appropriate treatment options. The scans were helpful to see potential problem areas and how to treat them. They made sure I was super comfortable and checked in frequently to ensure I wasn’t in any pain during my cleaning. Really top notch service! Fantastic experience: I have been a regular patient of Dr. Patel‘s since she opened her business seven years ago. She and her friendly staff are amazing and take great care of you and your teeth. Besides, regular cleanings, fills, a crown, and Invisalign to fix my bite, yesterday, she extracted a tooth that had an infection at its roots. Dr Patel caught it on X-ray ( before it became a problem for me ) and kept it on watch. When it appeared to get worse she sent me to a specialist to confirm the diagnosis. She extracted the tooth yesterday and this morning. I woke up with no pain! She used light/laser therapy after the procedure to help accelerate the healing process. We will be moving forward with an implant as a next step. Her dental assistant Hope is very competent and caring. She makes sure I am comfortable throughout my procedures. Thank you, Dr. Patel, Hope and all the staff at Preston Dental Loft! Trust them with the care of your family’s teeth and smile!
