Fantastic experience: All staff are always kind and responsive and welcoming. Any questions I have are always quickly answered. I don’t feel rushed or nervous during my appointments. These facts are why I continue to drive an hour and a half from my home south of Fayetteville for my dental needs!

Negative experience: This office pushes really hard for you to get Invisalign and wants to rush you in and out for your appointment. Told me I needed Invisalign for an issue. Got a second opinion, and the root cause was something completely different.

Fantastic experience: This is my first time at this location and it will not be my last! I got there early expecting to wait and they called me back early! The location is quiet, clean, and has a diverse playlist. I was asked if I needed water or coffee 3 times lol. I also liked how everyone listened to my concerns and didn’t pressure me into doing anything I wasn’t 100% sure on. The bill was higher than I expected it to be and they did a great job with going over all my options and were SUPER patient with me while I weighed the options. This is a TOP TIER location!!

Fantastic experience: Today was a day of excellence! They exceeded my expectations! I came in with concerns about my two front teeth. I hadn’t been able to think about anything else for a while cause they looked messed up. I articulated the issues and my vision and they listened. I was a little anxious that I wouldn’t be heard but the Dentist and the hygienist were super friendly. Phew! It’s now like a work of art! Even and flawless.

Fantastic experience: I had visited many set ups in Cary and Apex as I required dental clearance certificate for her knee surgery as there were deep cleaning and some fillings were required but every other set up gave exorbitant rates only this set up not only offer sliding scale charges even when I requested for further concession, Dr. David Dudleck waived off his charges which is something rare in dentist set up. I am writing this review because this gesture of thoughtfulness needs to be highlighted so anyone wants to know some very kind hearted Dentist its Dr David Dudleck.

Fantastic experience: I came to CarolinasDentist through a referral from a friend. We recently moved to NC from IN & were needing to establish care. I had a cleaning where it was determined some of my fillings needed replaced after being established for nearly 20 years. The dentist, hygienist, & admin were all so pleasant to work with. I was in & out of the office for the fillings within an hour & felt great! I notice a big difference with this minor update & really appreciate their attention to detail & care.

Many businesses focus on either the technical side or the human side, but the best ones - like what i experienced - integrate both seamlessly. My front tooth, which was an old crown, fell out and they took me right away and gave me a temp and ordered a permanent crown from the lab. The entire staff is friendly and kind and easy to be with. Fantastic experience: Great experience at Carolinas Dentist in Cary, NC! The office staff, dental hygienist, and dentist were all friendly, professional, considerate, and helpful. My concerns were discussed and the appt did not feel rushed. It was easy to schedule an appt online and I was able to schedule a next day appt for my son. They checked our dental insurance and texted me to let me know that we had reached our maximum available yearly dental coverage for my son. I really appreciate that they made sure I knew this before the appt so that I could decide ahead of time if I wanted to keep the appt and pay out of pocket, which I did. I know it's my responsibility to check our insurance coverage but I appreciate so much when an office takes the time to make I sure I know where our coverage stands so that there are no surprises when it comes time to pay the bill. Fantastic experience: As soon as I walked in I felt welcomed. I arrived 15 minutes early to my appointment and was seen 5 minutes after I got there. The staff is friendly. My cleaning and check up went smoothly. I’m glad I found this place. Will be my dentist for as long as I live here.

Negative experience: Scam! This is a for profit dentist office. They told me I had 8 cavities and needed to get them all filled. That didn’t seem right to me since I’ve never had a cavity… So, I had another family friend who’s a dentist take a look. Turns out, I only had one cavity! Very upset with Carolina Dentist office and you maybe only see the actual dentist for 1 minute. They’re a literal chop shop and should be sued for malpractice!

Fantastic experience: Dr. David and his assistant did a fantastic job! He has a very steady hand. I felt little to no pain in my root canal procedure. Dr. David and his assistant were both very attentive to make sure I was comfortable and accommodated me when I requested it. They both were professional, nice, and courteous. I did have insurance help pay a little bit of it, but the price was amazing. I ended up paying a lot less than I anticipated, so that was a huge relief for me. They have an amicable and excellent staff as well. I would recommend anyone to go to Carolina Dentistry. Great people doing great work. Job well done!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Steddum met me in the lobby…it was my first visit and an extremely high recommendation from a friend with much dental practice experience. Very nice office and staff. They answered all of my questions and were very supportive and understanding of any questions I had. Scheduled a procedure to be handled in a few weeks and my six month follow up! Really really like these people❤️❤️

Negative experience: Started going here at the beginning of the year and had a good experience, needed a cavity filling on both sides of mouth. Got one side done, had pain. Next week was the other side, commented on the pain I had on the other side, was said it can happen over a few weeks. About a month later came back, same pain on that first cavity side. They did an xray didn’t see anything, expressed that this pain literally caused me to come in and I’m not making it up. They said it could be from an old filling, so I paid to get that one redone. Still had pain, returned, saw a different dentist. Explained the pain, they said my filling was too tall. They shaved it down, felt relief for about a week until I had excruciating tooth pain. Same spot but hurt more. I was afraid my filling was filed down too much or something. However I was away on vacation and couldn’t come for a week. Next week I came in, they did a 3D xray, turns out my tooth is now infected. The dentist admitted to me that they didn’t realize how much pain I was in otherwise they would have requested a 3D scan sooner, but now I should feel validated that I know what is causing my pain. Now I need a root canal and crown and have ran up my insurance this year because of getting unnecessary fillings when it was an infection the whole time. The front desk lady, was nice and understanding when I told her I don’t want to get this procedure done at their office bc of my poor experience and told me a manager would call me the next day. Didn’t happen, but I did have to call the next day to get my rx filled. To be honest, I waited to post a review bc I hoped that they would call to apologize and reassure me that I would be taken care of there and maybe come to an understanding about the FOUR visits of tooth pain before figuring it out that it was an infection. But no.

Fantastic experience: Everyone in the office is very friendly and helpful. Everything is explained and all cost for any procedure is explained. Dr Lauren is so gentle and understanding. This dentist office is clean and well maintained. It is nice to have the dentist explain everything and work so closely with you. Dr Lauren is very knowledgeable and has a good eye for color she wants you caps to match and if they do not match your natural teeth color she will send them back to the lab. I really appreciate her

Fantastic experience: Excellent service from start to finish. Receptionists were very accommodating and friendly. I was actually way too early but they worked me in. Dr. Rachel met me at the door and walked me to the exam room while explaining everything. She and then a very nice young lady named Sierra listened carefully to all my concerns and assured me that they would take care of things. Later, after the initial exam I met Daya, who was just as sweet as the doctor and Sierra, assisted me through the rest of the procedure. I am extremely grateful for all the sacrifice, hard work and study these beautiful young women experienced to be there for me and all the other patients.

Jackie is my Hygienist and let me tell you she numed me with the greatest of ease. Cleaned my teeth in a timely fashion. She made me feel relaxed, calm and stress free. She's a great conversationalist, and a great addition to CarolinasDentist. I'd recommend Jackie to anyone. If you're hesitant, rest assured Jackie is the one you need to see. Not to forget the entire Front Desk, friendly patient, and very knowledgeable in all they do. Kudos All Around. See you guys next month. Fantastic experience: As a repeat patient I have to say having made several less than perfect choices for my dental care with other dental practices I finally found my pot of gold with Dr Lauren Steddum at the Carolinas Dental practice in Cary. Besides being highly qualified she is extremely caring and gentle in her patient care. I went in with a painful tooth problem and she immediately had me on medications to help with that..then coming in the next day the procedures necessary were executed flawlessly..I had a root canal which I have to say was extremely less painful than any I have ever received and a new crown that looks like a jewel that was created in their office. Their staff and service is exemplary. I am so happy to be a patient with this wonderful family of doctors and staff. If you are new in the area their location is easily accessible with plenty of parking. This practice takes you in within minutes of your arrival doesn't keep you hanging like many do. And their staff greets you with warm smiles and process your paper work quickly and efficiently. Im so sorry I didn't find them sooner but now at least I can call this practice mine .they are absolutely wonderful

Fantastic experience: 10 STARS!! Dr. Steddum and her team went above and beyond to make me feel welcome from the moment I walked in the door. For someone who has severe anxiety at the dentist office, they all made me feel so comfortable and safe. Truly a top notch team! Their office was absolutely beautiful too! The team was so patient with me and always checked to make sure I was ok throughout my treatment. It made the trip all the way from Pennsylvania well worth it! CarolinasDentist is unlike any other! To say they go above and beyond is an understatement. I don't have enough words to express my gratitude. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Negative experience: Nicole should be considered for a raise before you lose her to a competitor. Update: Unfortunately have to update my review and discontinue being a customer. They made an appointment with me again in 6 months for next cleaning. I flew back into the country this morning and I see they had VM's and texted me for confirmations which i couldn't respond to so they cancelled the agreed upon appointment without ever talking to me and say they are going to charge me $50 for not confirming the appointment (not for not showing up) - I called prior to the appointment today and they would not honor the appointment time. Now I have to find a new Dentist that can keep appointments. Person on the phone seemed like he hears this all the time and is powerless to do anything and could care less.

Negative experience: I had a very unfortunate experience with CarolinasDentist where they misquoted me by $1500 for a procedure and did not tell me until 22 hours before my appointment that I'd owe that before my procedure. I needed a crown, but had to go elsewhere for the root canal since they couldn't perform it there. So before making any appt for the root canal, they showed me the pricing for a crown, offered me financing and set that up. Between work trips and snow days, it took time to get both appointments lined up (root canal appt elsewhere and then crown appt with CarolinasDentist within 2-3 weeks after root canal). It has been a month since I signed up for financing for the $437 crown. And to my extreme surprise, less than 24 hours prior to my appt, they tell me they didn't run my insurance when they quoted me and since my insurance doesn't cover any part of the crown, the procedure is actually $2000 and I will owe the remaining $1500 before my procedure the following day. I could have had a month to shop around, understand my options, because I guarantee that I would have NEVER agreed to pay that a month ago if that's what they presented to me. But because I got my root canal with a temporary filling, I was on the clock to get a crown to prevent further damage to my tooth. I am beyond upset with this 'bait-and-switch' scenario, even if it was an 'honest' mistake as they claim. How do you quote pricing without running someone's insurance? What an absolute shame.

Fantastic experience: Excellent service and very quick. I have never had to wait more than a few minutes to be seen during an early morning appointment! The staff are all super friendly and helpful, and the Dentist was very professional and information. Excellent experience over all!

Negative experience: If you don't have money to throw away on unnecessary crowns, don't go here! I do not recommend this dentist office!!! They are prescribing unnecessary dental work to get more money from insurance companies and out of your wallet. An old filling of mine came out and when I went into the office to have it examined and the cavity refilled, Dr. Steddum looked in my mouth for two seconds, told me my tooth was cracked and I needed a crown. This was going to cost me close to $800 WITH INSURANCE. I left, rightfully upset and decided to call the office back later that day to ask the front desk to find out if she would be willing to just replace my filling since I could not afford the crown and no one ever got back to me. I went to a small family dentist office for a second opinion. My tooth is not cracked to any degree that would require me to get a crown. I was able to have my filling replaced at a fraction of the cost in less than one hour.

Fantastic experience: I live out of state and had a crown pop off. This place was near my hotel, and had excellent reviews. When I visited their website, it said they keep room in their schedule for emergencies such as mine, so I made an appointment next day for 9am. The front desk was very friendly and helpful. Sierra and Dr. Steddum were very informative and friendly as well. I love that they have TVs above you so you can watch TV while they work on your teeth, they have another TV so you can see pictures of the work/X-rays they've taken. And I loved that they went over pricing before doing any work. For being a last minute decision, I was very happy I came across CarolinasDentisry and if I lived here, I'd definitely make them my regular dentist.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a patient of Dr. Lauren’s for several years now and it has consistently been a good experience. She is both knowledgeable, skilled and caring. The hygiene staff is also very good. I get my teeth cleaned 2x a year at her office. Dr. Lauren put four Veneers on my lower front teeth and I couldn’t be happier. She has also done crowns and some minor repair work for me. It’s wonderful to have a dentist that takes her time to get my bite correct after having work done. I wouldn’t hesitate to have Dr. Lauren do any type of dental work on me or my family. Highly recommend!
