Fantastic experience: I had a filling done at L.S Family dental. The staff is prompt and the procedure was very well executed. Dr Nguyen and D.A Emily performed very well and made my procedure an easy one.

Negative experience: Very unprofessional staff. They want to milk your insurance for as much as they can by recommending procedures that are not necessary. All that was needed was a tooth pulled and because the additional unnecessary treatments were refused, they refused to pull the tooth and were indifferent to the pain that existed. A deep clean is not necessary for a tooth being pulled. DO NOT GO HERE.

Negative experience: I am truly disappointed with my experience at Lonestar Family Dental. I had scheduled and confirmed an appointment, only to be turned away upon arrival because they do not accept Cigna, despite confirming my appointment beforehand. It was unprofessional and frustrating to make the trip all the way there, only to be told they couldn’t see me. This lack of communication and courtesy is unacceptable. I wouldn’t recommend this office to others and suggest potential patients verify their insurance acceptance beforehand to avoid similar issues. The young lady Amber explained it but was nonchalant about the entire situation!

The assistant, she was super sweet and very calming, friendly and I enjoyed our chat about turtles, because I love turtles. The room had soothing music playing, I enjoyed that. Also, I appreciate the help they offered when it came to the payment. I will be going back!

Fantastic experience: The Dr.was very thorough and polite. Not sure on the name of the assistant who helped with my cleaning but she was very attentive and polite. If I had her name I would definitely make sure she gets recognized for all her hard work. Staff was great overall, definitely will be returning.

Positive experience: I would give a 5 if assistant was more considerate with me. I have ciatic nerve and could lift my left my leg to the chair to another patient almost 15 minutes left the head hanging because head piece was not working i STILL have a stiff neck bad performance Dr and front reception good service she stood there (no help) then she takes my blood pressure and leaves me with the monitor on to go translate They cancelled 15 minutes before appoitment because dentist left very inconsiderate on their part they have more than one dentist so i dont know theyir systemi want to speak to the office Manager and receptionist wont transfer me...please i want someone elese to call me They quoted me one amount i asked three times then they sent a different estimate to the insurance different amount and finally insurance and office want different $$$$ amount for me to pay Stay away from this place they all dont care if youre in pain they care about $$$$$$

Fantastic experience: Hi! On February 12, 2025... I had the pleasure of going for my six month dental appointment at Lone Star Family Dental; it's like a spa day for me, a time to relax. The Lone Star Family Dental team members deserve 10 stars, in my opinion. Doctor Brar, Lupita, the dental assistant, and Ivon, the receptionist, were all knowledgeable, empathetic, extremely helpful, experienced, organized, and very professional while being kind-hearted, too. My dental appointment went extremely well. I recommend Lone Star Family Dental 100%; their office is a great asset to our community! I'm grateful to have found Lone Star Family Dental's office during the stress of the initial COVID-19 outbreak; their office is always clean and sanitary since they follow all the CDC guidelines. Negative experience: Hello love dentist, but billing manger violet has no business in the position she in I was self paid due to just starting a new job and not sure if it had kicked in yet and due to the pain I was in and being a weekend day I sign papers for consent to treat and self pay which was 304.99 so when I got my insurance information processed to file my claim for reimbursement so my part would only be 50.00 deductible and 22 for treatment a total of 72.00 dollar which my insurance reimburse there part but the dental off refused to give me my difference of what Aetna had pd 107.99 and what was supposed to be pay by me 72.00 to see there in network pop provider which is the difference she keeps in saying I sign self paid paper of yes I did they were not going to take my word on maybe having insurance they expect payment as they should give and extend there patient the same curiosity to me this is considered to be very bad practice do you think that I would deliberately pay 305 dollars when all I should have pd was 72 with insurance.. I don’t think so nobody in there right mind would and for her to even use that as an excuse is ridiculous.. file complaint with my insurance Aetna but due to me signing papers am out of that money which too me as a practice would do the right thing and for that I write this bad review dentist love him but for her action I will never go back to that office

Negative experience: Always don't have a dentist doctor available and they are having to reschedule my appointments all the time. Receptionist AMBER was very rude and unprofessional, soon as you walk in the door you can tell the atmosphere isn't right. Not welcomed at all. Do not recommend this place at all.

Fantastic experience: I had a horrible experience at Summit dental last Friday. I was going to go for a follow up but they changed the prices on me drastically and all the manager could say was “I’m sorry”. I googled a dentist near me and found this place. As soon as I called the manager was very informative and answered all my questions and addressed my concerns. They were able to see me the same day I called. When we arrived the manager at the front desk was very nice and calmed me down because I was very nervous. The dental hygienist and doctor were both very nice and kept asking if I was okay the entire time during my procedure. I hate going to the dentist but after finding this place I like it. They made my experience calming and very comfortable. I am going to start bringing my kids here as well bc the dentist was very patient with a child while I was here. I could hear them in another room and he calmed the child down and eased his mind quickly. I know he will be great with my kids too. The manger here was so nice, I really appreciated all the information she gave me and advice she gave me as well. She loves her job and it shows. This place is the best dental office I have ever been to. I wish I had found them sooner.

Fantastic experience: The staff here is very friendly, polite and professional. Dr.P is very straight forward, that is something that I appreciate. He didn’t sugar coat anything he said it like it is. The cost of what I need done seems reasonably fair, but then again I do have dental insurance. Dr.P explained everything I needed done and why it needs to be done. He was willing to stay late to take care of my dental needs, the staff was very patient and willing to stay late as well. I didn’t make anyone stay late and rescheduled for a later date. I’m excited to go back and have Dr.P do the work he recommended. If you need a great dentist who will be up front with you and direct with a very friendly caring staff I highly recommend this office. I will say this, please don’t let the appearance of this place fool you, remember the best restaurants and shops are the holes in the wall that may look very unappealing to the eye. Fantastic experience: I must've called 5 offices on a Friday evening near closing time with a "dental emergency", All had the worst phone etiquette/customer service. When I called Lone Star they were able to get me in the next morning, The entire staff was so kind and helpful from the minute they answered the phone until the time I paid my bill. Probably the best service I've ever had in a very long time. Staff was so patient with my child since he was a little nervous. Fantastic experience: Great experience. I might not have tried this office just because it’s across from the high school but I was having difficulty finding a dentist for my elderly mother. I’m glad I tried. Staff was very friendly & the office was clean. Dr Mangla was patient as we had questions & he found a serious issue & referred her out. We still got her cleaning there & will go back once her main issue is resolved. Staff followed up & called me back in a timely manner when I had questions.

Negative experience: Not sure how they have a five star rating out unless they’re paying someone to take off the negative reviews. Horrible job at cleaning and my teeth are stained. Told the dr, he said that my gums were sensitive and instead of cleaning them using gel before he starts, he just didn’t clean them well! Went for cleaning only, not honest about how much Cleaning is, charged $40 for x-rays and then $135 for cleaning which is a total of $175 for a horrible job!
