Fantastic experience: After two sets of dentures with which I was very unhappy, Brident is making my third set and they are taking far more time and are being far more precise about fitting my new dentures. Faster is not always better. Looking forward to the final fitting.

Negative experience: I have been taking my son here for years since he was like 6 months with barely any teeth and now he is 10 years old. I haven't ever had a problem. I'm now a patient myself and so is my "hubby". I will continue to come here as long as they are open. Dr. Ling is the best! He fixed the "space" in my teeth that had me insecure, that another dentist said the sealant wouldn't last. He also fixed my broken retainer that I got elsewhere done. They make sure that you're happy with the work and accommodate you with relaxing music that you prefer while getting procedures done. Update February 28, 2026 Every since they changed to Brident Dental, instead of Summit Dental from my original 5 star review, things changed. My son now 15 has braces. I've been called several times to cancel his orthodontist appointment because the provider wasn't in. I wish that I could go to another Dental clinic because I try to make appointments that's convenient for me and my son schedule and the provider seems to never be there. Now my son is behind with his braces and I'm still paying for it with Care Credit. They need another provider that's going to work. He's behind probably 3 months or more now for his braces and I don't know when it would be a good time to schedule another appointment when we're off. I tried to reschedule during spring break but either the schedule wasn't open or the provider wasn't going to be there. They don't have late times after 5 pm or Saturday orthodontist appointments. That was one of the reasons why I started going to Summit Dental not Brident Dental because it fit my schedule for Saturday appointments but I just continued care thinking it would be the same. I should have done my research instead of going along with the change.

Negative experience: This place is not good at all , the receptionist does not know what’s going on , apart from that I had a scheduled appointment and was never seen because the dentist just got up and left in the middle of seeing patients but that’s not the worst part , I had waited about 4hours until another lady that was waiting decided to ask “how much longer will it take” the receptionist told us “actually no one will be seen today anymore , the dentist left already” and the lady who asked went off on her because she said “so you weren’t going to tell us ?, it was only because I asked” the receptionist told us nothing after , we cleared the waiting room and all went outside, as we were leaving I saw the dentist in the parking lot putting on chapstick or gloss wtv it was idk. After that I never went back ! But they still keep calling me even thoe my daughter has a new dentist now and so do I , I get calls about everyday , and when I call back they seemed confused and tell me to go talk to the receptionist in the clinic LIKE HUHHH? , terrible place , bad service and no communication whatsoever, and very unprofessional

Negative experience: I recently visited this dental office and was very disappointed with the experience. To start the waiting room felt more like a doctor's office- plain, dull, and uninviting. Before I could even be seen, I was handed my paperwork which included a form that basically said I couldn't take them to court if something went wrong it needed to be talked about with the dentist first. I asked and they made it clear that if I didn't sign it, I wouldn't be seen at all. That alone gave me a bad feeling. Thankfully I only needed an exam. When I finally met with the dentist, I asked for some guidance on how to floss correctly, and was told they wouldn't show me unless I paid for a cleaning. I've never had a dentist refuse such a simple request before. On top of that, their website at the time advertised free first exams, yet they tried to charge me for mine. It wasn't until I pointed out that a friend of mine had just been seen earlier the same day for a free exam that they reluctantly checked and "confirmed" it was true-only then did they agree to honor the free exam. Overall, I left feeling like this office is more focused on money than patient care, and I would not recommend them to others. Response to the owner - there was no confusion on the paperwork. It stated what it stated. Even confirmed by the office manager and another staff member. The other issue about your staff, they were confused about what to charge me. They were trying to charge me when I showed a FREE exam online. Only telling them a friend was just seen for free did they then honor it. They didn't care to honor what the own site said. Again no confusion on my end. Maybe you are the confused one?

Negative experience: The appointment staff does not coordinate with in person staff. The front desk lady is extremely rude.

Fantastic experience: Recently moved my son from pediatric dentist to a general dentist and I’m so glad to have found this office! Ricky was able to schedule an appointment that fit our schedule. Dr. Fernandez genuinely cares about his patients. We will be coming back for our routine visits. They are the best!

Negative experience: I came to this place for a Cleaning.. these jokers did X-rays & other stuff & said I had gum disease & said they can give some type of gunk in my gums(like giving me fake gums) & said there was no cure & it will cost 4k & I could pay this outrageous high amount to get started.. I was dumbfounded cause I never had no cavities but once in my lifetime as a middle aged man.. my spirit didn’t believe that.. so I went to another dental clinic an had the SAME TEST that resulted me having no gum disease & they had a hard time getting my results from this place cause I told them what they diagnosed me with..they was disturb about their operation.. I got my teeth cleaned with no problem.. if they would of destroyed my mouth/life with this fraudulent treatment.. they would of been severely sued.. if they tell you something severely wrong GO GET A SECOND OPINION WITH THE QUICKNESS

Positive experience: Not enough staff at this location. Their oral surgeon is amazing. She and assist made the grueling procedure pleasant.

Fantastic experience: The dental assistant (I wish I would have got her name) was amazing with my daughter. She gave my daughter little toys and after that my daughter loved going to the dentist. We went back the next week for my daughter’s X-rays and my daughter was excited. The X-ray tech was awesome as well. My daughter is 3 years old. My daughter loved the visit.

Fantastic experience: First time at the Pasadena location felt welcomed and was cared for with respect and dignity.

Negative experience: The orthodontist doctor was excellent, very caring, very compassionate to my pain and was very professional. Her assistant was fine with the exception of he was not very good at giving after surgery instructions he was so in hurry. The office manager was the worse she had no time to answer any questions in regards to my prescription or had the time to submitted to my pharmacist in knowing how much pain I was in. Furthermore they didn’t even give me all my after surgery supplies. That particular office with the exception of the doctor was terrible.

Negative experience: I took my wife here today and her appointment Was at 11:00. It is now 12:09. I'm still waiting. When I ask about this, all I got was they are busy and running behind. I asked about when could I be seen? Here is what I got....I don't no, but it going to be longer. I still am sitting ,it is now 12:21. I've been here over an hour there's nobody left that office yet . The receptionist was no help at all today. She was in her own business on the phone,, a meeting she said. It's now 12:35 and finally called back. I'll continue this on the next review. Delphia

Negative experience: DO NOT GET DENTAL WORK DONE HERE!!! Felt pressure to hurry up with paperwork. Shifted almost all my teeth! Shaved the filling way down! Now it hurts to floss. I've never had a worst experience in my life going to a dentist. I did not want to go back to them to fix the issues they caused!

Negative experience: Came here about 2 weeks ago, was not happy with the doctor, young Hispanic female. They did not explain or show me my xrays. No bedside manner. My teeth and biting have not been okay ever since. I did not have any issues with the teeth that got fillings that day and now I have to chew slowly. Not to mention, the doctor & the assistant both were a bit rough with my teeth. I literally thought the assistant was going to yank my tooth out when she was removing a "ring" from my tooth. I have never had any issues with my teeth until after the fillings. I'm in the process of looking for another dentist ‍♀️‍♀️

Fantastic experience: This was a most amazing visit!!! After another location off the Gulf Freeway was rude and non accommodating I called the Spencer and Burke location and the nicest, so professional Ms Bianca helped me , got me in and explained the treatment plan thoroughly! I’m glad I didn’t allow one bad apple determine my choice to find another company. I have found my dental “home”

Negative experience: Had my appointment, thinking I was seeing my original dentist, Dr. Shumate that I saw in October and realize this was a new dentist. Staff did not tell me that old dentist was no longer there. The new dentist is a young Hispanic female dentist with no bed side manner. Not friendly and condescending. She stated that I have 11 cavities, even said I had cavity on the tooth I just got filled two months ago. I informed I just went to the dentist in July and got an X-ray and check up and only had 1 cavity, so in 2 months how is it possible to have 11. She went around in circles without giving a through explanation saying the dentist must have didn’t look in between my teeth. This is the absolute worse dentist. She definitely needs to go back to dental school. I will be returning back to my dentist with the Castle.

Negative experience: They were nice at first but then the Dr's started condescending each other every visit on what they would say, and then i had a horrible experience trying to get my sons wisdom teeth removed. The front desk receptionist lied about me and said I called crying begging for iv sedation. When in fact I requested iv sedation and they made a mistake making my appointment. Then the dr who goes once a month for surgery approached me with a rude tone asking why I changed it. And I told her I didn't. And she said "then why did they tell me you called crying" . Which is accusing me of not being truthful. Her approach to me was unprofessional and so was the front desk ladies who lied about me. I called customer service and wanted it canceled with no cancelation fee(since they rescheduled me) and they told me the office manager would call me for resolution and about changing me to a different office. She called and when I called her back wouldn't speak to me. The receptionist said "she just wants to know if you have pending treatment" and I explained what happened and she stated there was no appointment and that was it. No resolution. No apology. No accountability. Do not go here. They are a mess.

Negative experience: Took the day off to take my son to the dentist, booked an appointment over the phone with their call center. When I showed up they had none of my information on file said I had no appointment. The lady at the front desk said they could still take us in if we wanted to wait. So when I asked for the wait time I was told less than an hour, after sitting there for over 2 hours we left. What a waste of time, first and last time.

Negative experience: Service here has been absolutely horrible. Please run away from this place. Less than two years ago they did a root canal. The crown has since cracked. Their own doctor presented a treatment plan and confirmed something had been done incorrectly during the original treatment. He specially stated the crown shouldn't have worn through in such a short period of time. No mention of the need for an endondontist was mentioned. A date was scheduled where the company was going to fix the issue until "corporate" got involved. The doctor who did the original procedure was no longer with Summit Dental (Brident Dental). The company simply doesn't want to take responsibility for something done wrong by one of their doctors. After weeks of delaying treatment they've made several different requests. At the end they sent me to an endodontist and fabricated lies stating, "this was recommended by the last doctor you saw." Brident Dental has taken numerous steps to cover up their wrongdoing, ultimately refusing to offer treatment. The manager was great and communicated well. She tried to get the issue resolved. Clearly she too from our conversations agreed something was done wrong. Ultimately, corporate got in the way and refused to take responsibility. The turnover of doctors here is crazy but understandable. Clearly there's fundamental issues with this company and how they operate. Their bottom line isn't for you, it's against you. I'd highly advise anyone considering this company to go elsewhere.

Negative experience: When they’re in severe pain waited over a hour in lobby then another 30 in the back, didn’t give me much detail just said see a surgeon so I paid to be seen and no further details. I went to Eagle dental in LaPorte and they extracted my tooth and had great customer service. Don’t recommend this business at all not very friendly or helpful at all.

The technicians were extremely friendly and put me at ease and made me very comfortable. They new I was scared and respected my wishes. Negative experience: Trash dentist and i definitely wouldn’t recommend. Never answer the phone , the waits are always so long , majority of the time they’re closed , the only thing saving them is dr.ling. One of the front desk lady’s are rude and act incompetent &’ when you ask for help or further questions they talk to you like you were born 30 min ago.

Positive experience: Only thing that saves them from a 1 star is dr Ling.hes wonderful! But you cant be late or they reschedule,even if youre walking in the door, don't care how much gas you spent to come here every week, or how u always come early except the one time u get caught by construction, but they don't get to you in a timely manner either. Literally numbed my daughter up over 20 mins ago and still hadnt came back. Watched the pregnant dr poke a nurse with the needle they were about to stick in my child's mouth. Will definitely be switching my child's dentist after this.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Goodman is the best!!! I had to choose another dentist because my last one was horrible. So I came to Summit Dental since it’s closer to work. Thus I was presented with the Amazing and Glorifying hands of Dr.Goodman. He was very easy to talk too and his taste of music is great! With his Gentle and yet firm touch he did great work on my teeth, he was very thorough too!

Fantastic experience: Im such an upfront person and this dentist location is by far the best! To this day i’ve came here since I was 3 y/o now 19, and anyone who doesn’t is missing out. I’ve never had a unpleasant experience here not only the staff is so kind but the dentist assistants and the dentist himself are amazing. I was blessed to have the dentist Dr.Ling. I had crooked teeth since my adult ones came and I finally got my braces around September of 2020 and got them removed Today Jan 20 2022. I went to get opinions from different places but I just had a feeling in my gut that they just wanted me to take money out of my pocket, till I made my decision at this location and I have absolutely no regrets! The whole process was so smooth and fast. Every checkup I had with Dr.Ling was outstanding, always checked on me, attended my every need, had the best conversations and jokes lol. Regular checkups, any other from small surgery to my braces was so easy going, both application process for my braces, during and the final removal was amazing. I had over grown gums on some teeth and even that hwas some sort of uncomfortable feeling but he made sure to numb it, that I was okay and he was super quick. The ONLY thing I would say…i wish is that some of the assistants didn’t have such long false nails or real nails not sure what it was. I know they don’t mean to make me feel uncomfortable but it would be some better if they didn’t have them since sometimes I’d feel more pressure on my gums when they had to already press if that makes sense. Regardless they are super sweet ;). I’m so happy with the final result of my smile, and I’ve gotten so many compliments. I feel truly confident and amazing, can’t stop smiling now when I used to be so insecure before braces. Top 25/25 I rate lol I recommend you come give this place a visit and ask for Dr.Ling you won’t be disappointed!

Fantastic experience: Wisdom teeth surgery can be daunting but Dr. Ling for the win! I had 3 teeth pulled and did not feel a thing during the surgery. Though I was partially awake and responsive, all I could remember was how caring Dr. Ling was as he asked and made sure I was okay throughout the whole thing. It’ll be a different experience for each person, but I can reassure you that you’ll be in good hands. Dr. Ling is respectful, trustworthy, attentive, and caring. He answered all my worrying questions in clear detail from our first meeting at consultation to the post-surgical check up. Fantastic experience: Dr. Ling was amazing, I was nervous at first but with them letting me choose what music, and then the flavor of laughing gas, it was so relaxing just when I thought they were getting started they finished! The whole experience was quick and painless, until the numbing wore off, besides that I highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: DR LING is GREAT! After hurricane Harvey forced my dentist to close down =[ and looking for dentist around my area, I chose to come here. It’s pricey, but hey what dentist isn’t ! With my dental insurance it was a fair price for me and I LOvED the friendliness and how they are attentive to you, your questions and worries ! I was nervous about my wisdom teeth extraction , but Dr LING makes you feel cared for and meets your needs. My experience here was good and I thank them for being nice after my 100 questions I may have asked over and over .

Fantastic experience: Had to have root canal done due an irreversible pulpits I had prior to coming, and the overall experience was good! No pain during the whole procedure and they made sure to make you as comfortable as possible. Definitely not a scary experience like some may think. Negative experience: If you’re a busy person who doesn’t have time to spend waiting forever, don’t come here. They have many different rooms and not as much staff, so they will just put you in the room and have you there waiting forever. I got to my appointment 15 minutes ahead of time and was seeing by the doctor more than an hour after that. The doctor was very nice with me and apologized, but the damage was done lol. The staff is Ok, not really very attentive, as I said, I was just forgotten in the room for more than an hour. Employees and customers were loud, it was busy, lot of movement, lot of people (aren’t we social distancing?), the place just didn’t have the right vibe. I came here looking for endodontic advice because the doctor has an specialization on that , but my dentist and his staff at Sunny Dental clinic do a better job. Next time I will just go straight to an actual endodontic clinic. I don’t think I’m coming back here.

Fantastic experience: I had wisdom teeth extraction both the bottoms was quick and easy both were out in under ten minutes. Doctor is super nice helps comforts you if you’re nervous which I was a mess! Here I am 5 days post oop and haven’t not had any pain just a slight tingle when I eat.

Fantastic experience: If I could give 100 stars I would!!!!! Dr. Ling did an AMAZING JOB!!! I got my 3 wisdom teeth taken out and didn't feel a thing and I was awake the whole time! The receptionist were the nicest people ever and made you feel very comfortable as soon as you walk in. Dr. Ling made you feel very comfortable and listened to everything you had to say. I will definitely be coming back any time I have an little dental issue. 100/10 experience here.

Fantastic experience: I had a root canal and it was nowhere near as bad as imagined. In fact the procedure itself was as pleasant as a dental procedure could be. My plan of treatment was thoroughly explained by the dentist and the procedure was quick.

Fantastic experience: The staff here are great! They are very friendly and helpful. I have been going to submit dental for awhile and everyone always has a smile on thier faces and they always try thier best to help with anything you need. I usually see Dr. Ling and he is a fantastic dentist that keeps up with all his patients. Dr. Bana is also very friendly and a great dentist. Definately recommend.

Fantastic experience: It’s New Year’s Eve and was in desperate need of an oral surgeon for a wisdom tooth extraction. From the initial phone call to my exit experience the Summit Dental Center took care of me. The intake process was quick. This facility is adhering to CDC COVID-19 regulations. All patients have to wear mask, wash hands and get temperature checks before having service. I was a nervous wreck about getting a tooth extraction but Dr. Ling made me feel very comfortable. He answered my questions and asked me questions to make sure I understood the process. Dr. Ling is very knowledgeable and professional. My extraction took no time. Thank you Summit Dental Center.
