Fantastic experience: The staff at Sage Dental in John’s Creek was caring and courteous. They understood my emergency visit was driven by a need for pain relief, and they treated me with gentleness that I appreciated very much. Each member of the team worked together to find a pharmacy close by and an endodontist who could treat my condition quickly. I highly recommend Sage Dental.

Negative experience: Either this place was overbooked or they sorely lacked administrative skills. I sat and waited 30 minutes in the dentist chair and my time seemed meaningless to them. There may have been a staff shortage but this was never offered as the reason for their lack of urgency. Definitely will not be returning. I judge medical facilities by their cleanliness and attention to detail. This place had overflowing trash cans and air of mediocre sanitation. I would not recommend this office unfortunately.

Negative experience: First of, I never write reviews, and if i do, its always positive. I generally give people the benefit of the doubt, but my experience with Sage Dental in my 1 year as a patient has been completely unacceptable. Most of the staff is extremely unprofessional and lacks attention to detail. Constant personal and inappropriate conversations between employees when I while getting worked on throughout multiple visits. I was given an estimate for invisilign with a $600 out of pocket fee, but was then later told that it would be $3,500 because Sage dental made a filing error. Even though the mistake was completely their fault, (to which they admitted), and I professionally requested them to work with me on reducing the out of pocket cost, I was interrupted mid sentence and told that there is no flexibility what so ever. I would strongly suggest against anyone from going here. Do yourself a service and go read the reviews on yelp, because the high rating on Google does not accurately represent Sage Dental's business etiquette. The 1.4 star Yelp rating is much more accurate.

Negative experience: So I came to this place back in December. The main thing I wanted was a cleaning, which they couldn’t do because the dentist had called out for the day. I was really upset about that because I essentially wasted a PTO. Originally it seemed like they were about to have me leave with nothing but wasted time. Then they I guess felt bad for me, so they decided they could at least do my X-rays and help with my cavities, but still no cleaning. I felt a bit better about that cuz at least it wasn’t a total waste of time. Finally after they were done with that they had asked the front desk lady to help me with getting a follow up appointment set up, so I can come in for a cleaning. The lady at the front desk seemed to have immediately forgotten and then asked if I needed something else, to which I reminded her about setting up the appointment. I stood at the front desk for like 5 minutes waiting for her to remember and then giving her my information and what day and time would work for me. Once that was set up she told me it was in and so I thanked her and left. Yet 2 days later I recieved text about setting up a follow up appointment, I replied that I set up the appointment while I was at the location. They texted back that I could disregard the text, so I assumed it was sent in error. A few more day later i received a missed called from them about setting up an appointment, which I was obviously confused about because I did set up an appointment with them literally in person and they had told me to disregard the last text. So I called them back to see what was going on, and it went to voicemail. I left a voicemail explaining that I set up an appointment already and asked them to please call me back because I am now worried the lady at the front desk did not save my appointment into their system, which was the only day that worked for me. They never called me back. I never received a response at all. They texted me the same thing again a few more days later. The day of what would have been my appointment came and went and I never recieved anything, and on the same day they called me to set up a follow up appointment. I answered and told them to never contact me again. I explained the situation and they apologized, which did not mean anything to me at this point because I believe the lady at the front desk did not care about me for some reason. I don’t understand why. I came in respectful even when they told me they would not be able to perform what I came for. They lied to me about having my appointment set up and I felt so disrespected. If you want to come here please triple check that the woman at the front desk is awake and ask her multiple times if she saved your appointment otherwise she may start lying to you about an appointment that does not exist. Though I would suggest going to a different place all together

Fantastic experience: Very good staff and Dr. Yusuf was a savior for me today!! I was in immense pain and had to retreat a root canal, she not only re treated my infection but also retained the crown which was a difficult thing. I am really thankful to the entire team for taking such good care of me and ensuring that I felt much better!! Thank you.

Negative experience: Long wait times more than an hour, Try cross selling and just procedure driven.. Here to only make money ! They will extract money from both you and insurance for a procedure they never do. Beware!!

Negative experience: My fiancé just left after a visit with this office. They did not okay services and prices before they did them, which is absolutely unacceptable. He left paying more than he had been told he was going to. So unless you want to be charged for services that you were completely unaware of, I'd choose a different dentist and save your time and money.

Fantastic experience: OMG! When I say AMAZING that’s exactly what I mean from the beginning to the end the entire staff made me feel comfortable. After a horrible past experience I can finally say that I found another Dentist office that truly cares. Marcela the office manager made sure to explain everything in detail ensuring me I would not be disappointed. Ty you rock you did an amazing job on my cleaning when I say a perfectionist that’s exactly what her work details. Dejah was great as well as Christina. Dr. Kim is absolutely fantastic she was very detailed & talked me through my anxiety every step of my procedure. I can’t wait to get my permanent crown as I’m already getting compliments… BIG THANK YOU TO THE ENTIRE STAFF❤️

Negative experience: have been a customer here for more than three years and never had any issues until last year. There was an extra charge added to my bill that I was not aware of, especially since we always confirm and clear the total before the service. When I called to ask about it, the front desk lady was extremely rude. She questioned me if I already used the service, if so just pay for it, which I found very unprofessional. She hung up on me after I said, "thank you". She Took it very personally In addition, I normally receive an email every six months regarding the monthly wash service, but I was removed from the email list, and she did not want me to come back. I am very disappointed by how this situation was handled. I would appreciate a clear explanation of the extra charge and hope this matter can be resolved professionally.

Fantastic experience: My visit today was great! From the time I walked in the office manager was pleasant and very detailed. The young lady would took my X-rays was sweet! The doctor was amazing and explained my photos and next steps. Ty the dental hygienist was super helpful and friendly. She handled me with such care and explained all things during my cleaning. She was so so sweet and it was definitely a great first time! Oh another bonus I was in and out - fast service. The office manger is from New York like myself and it always feels good connecting with my people! Throughly happy with Sage dental of John’s creek!

Negative experience: Wow. Made my 70 year old father wait 2+ hours for a root canal, after he already filled out all the online paperwork beforehand. Wasted his time and given has age he obviously had a lot of issues waiting that long by himself. Absolutely baffling. He had to go home and I brought him back later after they said they would have him sorted out. Still full charge Not how I would run a business. My father and family will never be returning to this forsaken place.

Negative experience: I waited 40min at my first visit which I had booked a cleaning. During the visit the cleaning could not be completed and was scheduled for two days later. Arrived for my 11am appointment and was still not seen at 12:05pm at which point I decided to cut my loses. It was explained that they were running an hour behind. The reason being: A patient which was booked for one hour appointment took two. This was most concerning to me that the estimated time was off by double. Doesn’t breed confidence. At no point was anyone being phoned to have their appointments rescheduled. Patients were arriving and filling up the waiting room. I wasn’t going to be a victim of a rushed procedure. Please see the ChatGPT response below as an illustration of the total disregard for patient/customer outcomes.

Fantastic experience: My experience at Sage Dental in the Johns Creek location has been absolutely great! From the start, the office manager, Mrs. Marcell, was very informative about my treatment plan. There were no hidden fees, and everything was clearly explained. The hygienist TY was knowledgeable and took the time to educate me about the different types of cleanings. I really appreciated that. Dr. Chad was also fantastic—he clearly explained my treatment options without making me feel pressured in any way. Assistants are superb as well……Jerry and …happy … Everyone I encountered at the office was polite and professional. On top of that, their technology is amazing! The x-ray system they use is very advanced—they even showed me detailed pictures of my teeth, and I was honestly impressed. It gave me a better understanding of what was going on with my oral health. Overall, I highly recommend this location. The team is professional, caring, and upfront. A great dental experience.

I love how “at ease” I felt my first time coming :-)) . They have a very calm, inclusive and nurturing type of vibe and I love that . But when he started experiencing excruciating pain at 3 PM on a Thursday, it was Marcella at the Johns Creek location who managed to find time to squeeze us in for an emergency visit. Everyone treated us with kindness, empathy, and urgency for the situation. I wish I had gotten everyone else's names, I'll certainly update this review once I have them, but after our initial experience with the Johns Creek office, we don't mind having to make the drive here on out.

I brought my elderly, disabled mother and not only was everyone so incredibly kind and understanding, but they took time to listen to her needs and developed a plan for her. I’ve always hated going to the dentist, but this visit was so smooth and I’ve never felt more comfortable. Ty was my hygienist and was so lovely and knowledgeable — I hope she decides to go to dental school because she would be an amazing provider to so many people! Dr. Harris was great and gave me a more affordable treatment plan that worked best for me despite being told at a previous practice that I would need an expensive surgery.

Fantastic experience: BETTER SERVICE & BETTER PRICING!! Although this location of Sage Dental is far from my home, the experience was so outstanding that I’d gladly go out of my way just to return. The office is beautiful and welcoming, and the service was exceptional from the moment I walked in. Every team member I interacted with was professional, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. They explained each step of the process clearly and thoroughly, making the entire appointment seamless. What really stood out was the attention to detail and the genuine care they showed throughout. This first visit completely blew my previous dental office out of the water. I left truly impressed and confident I’ve found the right place for my dental care. I would like to also add that the price I was quoted at Sage for two full bridges two other separate crowns a deep cleaning and antibiotics came to about the same price I was quoted for just one bridge from my previous dental office and I have the same insurance! SO GLAD I decided to get out of my comfort zone and switch dental providers!

Negative experience: Came here for a referral, was in the office for an hour but only saw the doctor for maybe 2-3 minutes. She grabbed my head forcefully, pulling my neck into her and applied a cold paste that caused pain without telling me what she was doing, then declared I didn’t need a root canal after 30 seconds. While I was there, a woman in another chair was repeatedly screaming in pain, and I overheard doctors and nurses shushing her and telling her it “shouldn’t hurt”. She left crying and the staff didn’t provide any comfort. 2 stars for front of house staff and clean facility, but I’d recommend against coming here.

Fantastic experience: The ENTIRE STAFF (forgive me for not knowing names yet).. down to the receptionist, the man who did my x-rays, the woman who will be doing my deep cleaning, and the other man who will be helping restore my teeth were AMAZING! No judging, clear on a plan, stop my aches for the time being, and just overall they have already made me happy before i even start my procedures!

Fantastic experience: Although I’m very familiar with the reputation of SAGE DENTAL, I’ve never used their services until yesterday. Being a veteran, I came through Community Care and had the joy of encountering a staff that completely turned my thoughts around when it comes to going to the dentist. The beauty starts at the door when you are greeted warmly by the reception desk. Going into my visit, I met Mr. Jerry -Technician, Dr. Chad, and “Ms T”, the hygienist. Every member of the staff was professional, and get so personable. I felt like we’ve already met. They took great care of me, explained every portion of the procedure & care that I was to receive. And Then proceeded to educate me on flossing better! Dr. Chad shared some photos with me of work he’s done previously and I was excited to know that I stood the same chance of having just as pretty a smile as the clients he’s already treated. I can’t wait to get started! And I’ve already got a secret Twin birthday partner in the office! Negative experience: Edited to add: Because of this poorly executed root canal, my entire tooth ended up cracked, and I had to get an implant ($6000+!). I reached out to the company, asking for at least a partial refund, but they refused. PLEASE do yourself a favor and avoid Sage Dental, especially if you need a root canal! I had a root canal here and would NEVER do that again! This was the worst experience, and I highly recommend NOT using this practice for root canals. It was a year ago, and I'm still having problems with the tooth...how does that even happen if it was done correctly? I was in and out in 45 minutes, including paying and signing paperwork.... clearly something was missed! It was like she was being timed and going as fast as she could, in a very rough, aggressive way. I started getting feeling back during the procedure, and instead of giving me relief, she just rushed even more. When I went here it was because my insurance "covered" it, but it was just a discount. If there's a next time, I'll forget about insurance and pay for a reputable endodontist who can get the job done right.

Negative experience: Horrible last time we went we said never again. Son leaving had to get teeth cleaned. Took him back 1.5 hrs after appt that was supposed to be at 9am. Services were charged and done that were not supposed to be done. Do not go

Negative experience: I called to confirm that sage does heavy duty periodontal work and was assured they do. I explained I had a failed skin graft surgery for recessed gums and that I am not interested in trying that again. The assistant said, "Well what do you want us to do?". I re explained the specifics to the actual "dentist". He 2x suggested a skin graft, after I had explained the situation twice. I believe I dodged a bullet getting out of there without letting them put a drill into me. No, no and no!

Negative experience: I recently had an incredibly frustrating experience at Sage Dental that I feel compelled to share. I had scheduled an appointment for a root canal, fully expecting to undergo the procedure. However, upon arrival, I was informed that I was only there for a consultation. This was confusing, as I had specifically booked the root canal. After some back-and-forth explaining my appointment details, they finally acknowledged the mix-up. Once they were ready to take me back for the procedure, I was met with yet another delay. The staff was busy cleaning the equipment, and I found myself standing there, watching them scramble around to prepare the room. After an hour of waiting and fighting for the procedure I had scheduled, I was finally seated in the dental chair. The worst part came when they began applying the numbing gel. Just as the associate removed his hands from my mouth, the doctor rushed in with needles, injecting my gums without allowing the gel to take effect. The pain was excruciating, and I was squirming and crying in the chair. It felt as though the doctor was in a race against time, completely disregarding my discomfort. After what felt like an eternity of stabbing and pain, she abruptly informed me that she couldn’t proceed with the root canal because my gums were inflamed. She suggested I see a specialist who could sedate me instead. At that moment, I had reached my limit. I firmly told her that I didn’t want any more treatment from her. I quickly got up, requested my money back, and left the office. I cannot stress enough how important it is to value your well-being when seeking dental care. My experience at Sage Dental was anything but satisfactory, and I would strongly advise anyone considering this office to think twice, especially regarding their doctors and the overall treatment approach. Save yourself the time, money, and pain—look elsewhere for your dental needs.

Positive experience: WOWWWWW!! First time visiting after not seeing the dentist in a while. From the time I walked in, French, greeted me with a smile and energetic attitude. Met Dr Chad who reviewed everything with me, good bad and the ugly. Super informative dentist. After the extraction Jerry went over my do’s and dont’s. Super friendly and detailed oriented! Overall, I’d welcome anyone to speak differently once having been seen at this office. Sage Dental is my new “home” for dental work. Fantastic experience: Wow… where to begin! It’s been two years since my last cleaning due to work and travel, but I’ve been on guard who to trust my oral health with. After visiting Sage, Finally felt like a dental team was being honest and thorough. Jen the hygienist was super accurate, honest, and thorough, and Francesca at the front made everything super smooth and professional and very, very kind! Her smile alone is worth visiting the dental office just to see! Wow. Anyhow, Thank you. My teeth are happy again!
