Fantastic experience: I absolutely love Dr Carla and her staff. They really do what they can to take care of you. As someone with a visual impairment my past experiences at the dentist weren't always the greatest. Dr Couri and her staff are the only Dental professionals I felt most comfortable with and if you are visually impaired and can't really see what they're doing Comfort is very important. If you're looking for a dentist and staff that really take their time for you to help and care for you then I would highly recommend this office. I know I'm not going anywhere else unless I have to. Be ready for a laid-back and down-to-earth atmosphere.

Fantastic experience: Just wanted to share, made an appointment at Couri group with Dr. Gilmore. It was an emergency just found a cavity and leaving for Europe soon. His office staff were warm helpful and understanding. Got me in the next morning at 0900. Dr. Gilmore and his dental Tec were friendly and welcoming.Had it filled an on my way. Positive experience: I had my teeth cleaned yesterday. And was told I need to have x-rays before I can have my teeth cleaned in six months. I Don't agree with that I am on a fixed budget and would like my teeth just cleaned. I guess I will be looking for a new a Dentist. That is sad because I really like the two lady's that clean my teeth.

Fantastic experience: I am my aunt's caregiver and am the one who brought her to her appointment. The staff was very friendly and explained to my aunt what they were going to do and asked her permission before beginning. The only complaint my aunt had was that she wasn't able to understand the hygienist and Doctor Couri when they had the masks over their mouths. My aunt has hearing loss and it would be beneficial to her if the hygenist and Doctor Couri could remove masks when talking to her.

Negative experience: I visited this dental officer based on the reviews on Google, I drove over 80 miles to Couri Dental Peoria, I had a very bad experience which made me realize that these Google five star reviews are fake written by people they know or by their own staff using different google accounts. My experience with this dental office : - The reviews said that they have the latest technology and top notch hygienists and dentists, that's incorrect, they use the old way to get those x-rays instead of the Panoramic dental x-ray which uses a very small dose of ionizing radiation to capture the entire mouth in one image, and the hygienists are NOT top notch, the one that was assigned to me works there part-time and is absolutely NOT top notch, I walked in, sat on the dental chair and she started cleaning my teeth right away without performing any of the routine measurement that every dental hygienist in every dental office does. The cleaning was rushed, tartar was NOT removed from the back teeth and plaque was NOT removed from most of my teeth, there was NO polishing and at the end and after flossing she did NOT give me any mouthwash to kill that bacteria in my mouth like other dental hygienists do. The dentist walked in, stayed for about 2minutes, looked at the X-rays, he said I have no cavities, I asked if any of the old fillings need to be replaced because I had some pain in one tooth, he said that they are all fine. He didn't ask if I had any questions or anything , he just left. Few days later, my gum in one side of the mouth became swollen, I went to ANOTHER dentist, did a new set of x-rays and the new dentist said that tartar and plaque were not removed and that's what caused that inflammation, the new hygienist did a great job with all the measurements, she cleaned my teeth, polished them and used a fluoride treatment at the end, the new dentist looked at the X-rays and told me that I have two cavities, one of them is between two teeth and that I have to replace one of the old fillings (the same tooth that was hurting and that Dr. Gilmore said it was fine and that it didn't need to be replaced). NOW, TELL ME HOW IS THIS TOP NOTCH??? I wasted $325 at Couri dental for nothing, they just made things worse for me.I should get a refund for that poor work, delaying treatment causes gum disease which leads to health issues. if not removed plaque builds up and hardens to become tartar and tartar causes gum disease. CANCEL that 6 month appointment that you made, I am not coming back and I would not recommend this place to anybody, if you truly care about your oral health then STAY AWAY FROM COURI DENTAL GROUP, I don't know about the other female dentist but Dr. Gilmore and the assigned hygienist messed up things for me and I ended up spending money AGAIN to get another cleaning, that $325 I spent at Couri dental was like flushing my money down the toilet. My genuine advice: don't go to this dental office, they did a poor job cleaning teeth and can't even read the x-rays properly, imagine what would happen if you spend money on other expensive procedures such as root canals or deep cleanings. I am very disappointed and want to receive a refund for the poor work they did minus the xrays. horrible place. be careful and don't trust those reviews I drove over 80 miles for nothing and ended up going to another dentist for another cleaning and spent MORE money.

Fantastic experience: Dr Couri is replacing my crowns, that I have hated forever. I was in the chair for quite some time yesterday, I’m sure longer than we anticipated. But not once did Dr Couri or the other two say anything that made me feel like I was taking too much of her time. She promised me that I would love my new teeth, and I don’t have any doubts, because even the temporary crowns look better than my old ones. Oh, did I say that in all the years I’ve been seeing her,I have never felt any-and I mean any pain! I’ve always been a white knuckled dental patient, and I almost fall asleep at each visit. Fantastic experience: Love Dr. Gilmore. He has been great to me and my child for the last 18 years. Dr. Gilmore is completely straightforward never looking to just get money out of his patients. The hygienist and assisting staff have also been great. They are personable and do a great job with my 7yr old.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Couri is great. Had a root canal on my first visit, back in 2012. When the numbness wore off I couldn't even tell I had been to the dentist, let alone had a root canal. Recently I chipped a tooth. Having just moved back to Peoria there was just one dentist I wanted to see to do the work. Dr. Couri fixed it without numbing and it was painless. Highly recommend this clinic. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Update: Just had Dr. Couri replace an old crown. Just have the temporary right now, but Dr. Couri had to address a minor infection in my gums around this old crown. She had to laser the gums to help reduce the swelling. She said that it would hurt when the numbness wore off. Every one of the techs told me the same thing.........that I could expect it to feel like a 'pizza burn' and it would be uncomfortable. I was given 800MG Motrin/Ibuprofen for the pain and a regimen of when to take it for the next couple days. I took 2 more that day. When the numbness wore off, though, I had absolutely no discomfort at all. I can't recommend Dr. Couri enough. She's the best!!!! Update: 9/27/2021 - Another visit for a check-up and cleaning. I drive to Peoria from Champaign-Urbana to see Dr. Couri. Well worth the drive.
