Fantastic experience: I’m a long time patient of Valley View Dental (Romeoville), but I continue to be impressed by all of the compassionate and competent staff. I broke my tooth just hours before a scheduled flight. Even though I had never been to the Naperville office, Dr. Rhim quickly addressed my need - and I didn’t miss my flight. She and her staff were amazing!

Fantastic experience: Did great job pulling my tooth patient with with me

Negative experience: Absolutely worst attitude. First the dental hygienist asked me about problems and then said that we would only look at one problem as they were only told about one problem and that too in very rude tone which was very odd. She also gave me hard time when taking xray. Dentist was nice and looked at all problems and said that he can take care of root canal in same appointment. At this point hygienist jumped it and said that they have other patients. Dentist said that we have an hour before next patient and he can take care of the issue to which hygienist said that well we do not have extra tools. Dentist said that he has his own tools and do not need extra tools and it would be no problem. But hygienist just would not let it happen. She asked me to schedule another appointment and I told them that there is no need as I won’t be coming back. Not sure who runs this office and why they did not want the business but it does look like hygienist runs the business and just have terrible attitude and no business sense or any sense of customer service. UPDATE- Even though they say in their reply that they would like to talk to me, no one has contacted me. UPDATE as of June 29,2026 - still no one called back.

Positive experience: Had a fabulous time at the clinic. The management provides superior experience to patients—be it communication or treatment—-they take care of patients very well

Negative experience: They brought in a new dentist that did terrible work on my crown. They will not fix it! It's a shame I paid so much money.

Negative experience: I’ve been going here for years and have been very happy with the results. I believe their staff turnover is quite high. The dentist who I saw – Someone who I had never seen before –was on his phone with his bank while treating me then arguing with the hygienist and someone else in the Room. He seemed very unprofessional and unaware of appropriate behavior. He had no bedside manner and was not polite to his staff. Update – came back to finish my treatment and everyone was very courteous and things went well

Fantastic experience: Friendly staff and great service! Had my six month cleaning today and it was refreshing g that the dental hygienist remembered me and I was glad to have the same hygienist. She was the only one to tell me that my gums were receding and she remembered in this visit and made sure she took extra care of my sensitive areas. She took time to explain brushing habits and making sure I’m brushing the right way to avoid future receding and she took the time to explain the doctor’s suggestion of a follow up procedure. Great place!

Fantastic experience: Dr Loubriel was great as usual. Took the time to let me explain my dental issues, as well as a non dental medical procedure that was performed 10 days ago, which may have impacted my current dental issue. My problem was inspected, x rayed, cleaned, and I was given instructions on the proper method to clean between the gun and a bridge. Overall, I am totally satisfied with the care received by Dr Loubriel.

Positive experience: I had a great experience with McKenzie, my dental hygienist — she was thorough, gentle, and very professional. She made me feel comfortable throughout the appointment and explained everything clearly. I also want to thank Jemma for working to get me in sooner; I really appreciated the extra effort to accommodate my schedule. On the other hand, I did have a less positive interaction with Allison over the phone. Her tone came across as unprofessional and unnecessarily rude, which wasn’t a good reflection of the otherwise excellent care I’ve received here. I hope she can get some coaching on customer communication so future patients have a better experience from start to finish. Overall, I’m very grateful to McKenzie and Jemma for their excellent service and would recommend this office, with the hope that phone interactions can be improved.

Negative experience: The girl at the front was extremely rude had an attitude gave a bill before I even seen the dentist! Wasn't helpful at all when I asked questions no reason to be rude I will not go back!

Negative experience: Edited 2/1/25: I want to add that after getting my cavities filled here I needed a root canal on a tooth that had only a small filling applied. Had to pay out of pocket for it and the specialist said it was due to inflammation in the tooth. Low and behold 3 years later I’m at a new dentist and they notice every filling I had on the right side of my mouth was overfilled and had been messing with my bite FOR YEARS. I finally got my mouth fixed after finding the right dentist but it took a long time. Still don’t recommend this place. While everyone here is very nice and understanding, I had quite a few fillings done back at the beginning of June and was made aware that they may need to do an adjustment. I’ve had three adjustments done and still can’t chew food on that side of my mouth without pain. Every adjustment seems to be a rushed appointment and takes time out of my schedule to go back out there repeatedly. It’s getting increasingly frustrating not being able to use my whole mouth to eat and being told to wait in between adjustment to see if the pain just goes away. It used to be just when I eat but now my jaw is has been becoming constantly sore. Am I just expected to keep going in for more 15 minute adjustments instead of having a full appointment to correct the issues I’m having on the right side of my mouth.

Positive experience: I usually like the chair in dentist offices. But somehow I was very uncomfortable in the chair in this office. I felt like the lumbar support was too protruding and neck support was minimal. I just couldn’t get comfortable. Otherwise staff and dentist were goog.

She was very patient in explaining the problem and what the next steps should be for my mom. Changing review stars to three. Thanks! —— Very disappointing experience recently. I’ve had nothing but great experiences either my kids at this place but with my older mom it was the opposite. She’s wanting to have her tooth extracted and has been in pain for two days now. We were told we would get a call back from the dentist today but never got a call back even after calling the office twice. And tomorrow’s Saturday and the dentist won’t be available so she has to sit through this pain for the entire weekend now without knowing what the next steps are. Was expecting better from this office . May have to find another local dentist now.

Fantastic experience: Outstanding staff! We just had my daughter's first formal dentist visit and the team here could not have been more wonderful. My daughter absolutely loved coming here and is legit excited to go back already! Edit: we came back 6 months later and I am even MORE impressed. The staff saw my daughter’s name before we arrived and they were all so excited to see her. What a wonderful team.
