Every visit with them has been comfortable and easy. From the office staff to the hygienists to the dentists, they all have been great!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Cheung gave me hope after losing a front tooth and a failed bone graft he literally pulled up the machine and sat with me to design my one wing bridge, an innovative solution that put me at ease and impresses everyone that comes to know of it. I was devastated to lose the tooth, and the completely unrelated surgeon assured me we could do multiple bone grafts to prep for an implant. After the 1st failed graft he refused to try, told me to keep my flipper or get a bridge. I was nervous to sacrifice 2 healthy teeth, so to be presented with the 1 wing option was by far the best news through the entire experience. I am grateful for Dr. Cheung and will continue to travel from Michigan to see him.

Fantastic experience: Moved here after being with a dentist for 20 years. We absolutely loved him and his entire staff. Our day at Dr Cheung’s office today felt like we are starting our chapter here with such a good feeling. Starting from Tracy, Brianna and Jacquelin at the front desk we were welcomed with such warmth, patience and understanding. Then our hygienists Carla and Donna. Today, we were seen by Dr Regan who patiently went over the course of treatment, time it will take and what is involved. It is so hard to find anyone in the healthcare industry who would take as much time for a patient as they did. I would recommend this practice to anyone who is looking for a Dentist- efficient, kind, considerate and caring.

Whether you have a specific problem or a normal cleaning, you will be treated with care, respect and skill (and go home with lots of info about your own tooth health). I really appreciate the discussions concerning my oral issues and the possible treatments.

Fantastic experience: Having a root canal and crown for the first time is scary, but Dr. Cheung and associates put me at ease for both visits. The actual procedures were painless, except my jaw got tired, and it’s obvious they know exactly what they’re doing. I had a great experience and am very happy with my new, painless, crown.

Fantastic experience: I had an emergency issue that I need to have handled and called first thing Monday morning and I was able to get into see Dr. Nora Regan who has a wonderful pleasant personality and immediately addressed my issue. Everything went excellently and smoothly and I have a visit to address and fix the issue tomorrow morning at 10 AM. This kind of attention and care for their clients is one of the main reasons we’ve been going to Dr Shanahan and now his new staff and partner for over 30 years! David Horvath

Fantastic experience: Very friendly staff and very reasonably priced. It helps that they take care of their patients by giving them goggles to wear during the tooth-cleaning experience, and even have televisions attached to the ceilings so that the patient can enjoy some entertainment while his/her mouth is being worked on. Dr. Shanahan, Dr. Cheung, and their hygienists are very personable, and they make the patients feel comfortable throughout the entire process.

Dr. Rafikova has a wonderful way of making my kids feel at ease during their visits. Before finding her, my children were anxious about going to the dentist due to a negative experience elsewhere, but Dr. Rafikova has completely turned that around. They now look forward to their appointments and feel comfortable during treatments and check-ups. Fantastic experience: My husband and I have recently retired and moved to the area from Michigan. We both started at the practice of Dr. Shanahan and Dr. Cheung within the last month and we are overjoyed! My husband saw both dentists for an emergency visit and for a hygiene visit. He found them both to be so knowledgeable and so helpful. Last week I started with a check-up with Dr. Cheung. I felt like I was with a tooth and mouth psychologist for an hour! He analyzed my mouth, teeth, gums, jaw pain, jaw shift, number of crowns that I already have and determined that I was grinding my teeth which created these problems. He recommended a bite guard and even gave me an exercise to do to help with my jaw. He educated me like no other on how to keep my gums healthy. I am super motivated and have been following all of his instructions. Dr. Cheung really and truly cared about me and my dental health. He explained so thoroughly and was genuinely excited to share his knowledge with me. I have never seen anything like it, from a doctor or a dentist. His level of passion, caring and sharing is something that all in the medical profession should strive for. April 2021. Years later my husband and I are still going to Dr. Cheung and associates. They are state of the art with Covid procedures and protections. I went today and my husband last week for the first time and we’re so impressed with the safeguards. We hadn’t been for a year so our hygienist had her work cut out for her. She was excellent and very thorough. She explained everything so well and showed us pictures. I saw Dr. Cheung today and he patiently explained what I needed to have done and still had the same sincere interest in every tooth in my mouth. He answered all of my questions and I never felt rushed. He is the best dentist we have ever had and we have had many!!!!

I have never had to wait for the appointment to begin, and all dental and office staff members are very friendly and knowledgeable. The dentists render pain free procedures. Hygienist Donna and Dr. Chung were professional, friendly and very pleasant. The environment is welcoming and they incorporate modern technology into the practice of dentistry. They also offer a prepaid annual service plan for those of us who don't have dental insurance. It's essentially half the cost of semi-annual checkups, plus discount pricing for additional treatments.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Cheung performed three very complicated cavities with efficient and great skills in two hours. Other dentist didn’t want to do it due to complexity of the work. He was very considerate and his hands were sturdy and gentle.

I called and left a message regarding the issue and received a call from Pat within minutes of my leaving my message. She contacted Dr Cheung who sent a prescription to my pharmacy before it closed. On Monday I saw the dentist at 8am. Excellent dentist office who cares about their patients.

They are so chill and calm. It’s like going to a spa instead of the dentist. (Seriously! I look forward to this.) But more importantly, they are exceptional at what they do. Whenever I went somewhere else (because I moved out of area), I always came back here to have them fix it. I am so happy I finally just live by them again.
