Fantastic experience: I've been coming to this dentist for about two years now. Everyone I have encountered at the dentist office has been pleasant and friendly, from all the ladies in the front such as Denisse and Alejandra and all the techs, hygenists and doctors as well. There is free parking in the back of the building as well as free parking in the front of the office on the street for up to two hours. I will be referring all my friends and family to come here. Cheers to the Dentist of Bixby Knolls family!

Fantastic experience: My 10 year old grandson, Ryan, needed emergency care and extraction on a Saturday. My primary dentist was closed and I found Bixby dentist online. The entire team, from the front desk all the way through, treated us with such kindness and did their very best to ease my worry and Ryans fear. Nina, was at Ryans side the whole time and even preoccupied him with some bird videos from her phone. She went way above and beyond any expectations i had for this visit. If you are reading this as an undecided client, i highly recommend this team. My grandson is pain free. I am relieved. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I have been to three other dentists who are conveyor belt businesses. Everyone of them tried to get me to agree to procedures that were expensive and unnecessary. To boot, they made me pay in full for the following visit. ...NOT PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE. KUDOS to this practice.

Ruby was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with the financial aspect to provide affordable, sustainable options/solutions to cover the costs of my dental work after a precise assessment of my budget; and she provided outstanding, amazing service as well. She mastered the art of putting me at ease through the process flawlessly as it can be a source of anxiety for anyone. Dr. Parekh was fantastic as he laid the groundwork for what needed to be done, made sure I understood and answered my questions; and then proceeded to do the work in the most painless of ways. The dental assistants were the best. I've been looking for a dental practice I can trust for a long time and l've found it. I highly recommend Dentist of Bixby Knolls to everyone looking for a trustworthy practice for adults and children alike. Thank you very much for all the work everyone did! Negative experience: I went to get work done and the work done by the dentist and assistants was great! Horrible attitudes from the women at the front desk. Never greeted me (any of the several times I had to return to get work done), put me on hold multiple times and never called me back after stating that they would in a few minutes, all done whilst sighing and speaking to me weirdly monotone. Definitely felt like my paid service was a burden to these ladies. Just a hassle to receive paperwork for insurance and HSA verification. I will not be back.

Positive experience: My experience at Dentists of Bixby Knolls was mixed. While the clinical treatment was ultimately completed, the overall experience fell short of expectations from a communication and professionalism standpoint. I want to acknowledge that most of the dental assistants, clinical support staff, and front desk team were consistently friendly and courteous throughout my visits. During treatment planning, I was presented with multiple options and repeatedly encouraged toward higher-cost treatments. While it’s appropriate to explain alternatives, the process often felt more sales-driven than patient-centered. After I chose a treatment plan that better fit my budget and preferences, communication and follow-through noticeably declined, and I felt less supported through the remainder of care. On the administrative side, refund handling required repeated follow-up. An initial refund was issued within about a week of my meeting with the financial team, but it was partial and did not reflect the full credit shown in the clinic’s own records. I had to continue following up and escalate the issue before the remaining balance was finally refunded, with the final portion posting on December 8, 2025. Although the issue was eventually corrected, the lack of proactive updates or acknowledgment made the process more inconvenient than necessary. I was also surprised to see a $100 no-show fee included on my Statement of Services after being told by the front desk that the fee would be waived when I called to reschedule a missed appointment. When I asked for clarification, I was informed that reviewing the charge could delay my refund, so I chose not to pursue it further at the time. This added unnecessary inconvenience to an already complex billing process. Trust in dental care is built through transparency, genuine care, and respect for patient choices. Clinics earn long-term trust by prioritizing patient needs and preferences, communicating clearly, and providing consistent quality of service regardless of the cost of the treatment plan a patient chooses.

Fantastic experience: I had such a pleasant experience at Dentists of Bixby Knolls. The whole process was very smooth from checking in, to going over the costs of the procedures, to the actual dental and cleaning exam with Dr. Dang and Nina. I’ve always dreaded going to dentists, but they took such good care of me during the whole process. I’ve never had an office where the doctor actually went over the imaging and explained what they were looking at. Dr. Dang was quick and very adept and I appreciated having him as my doctor. Definitely coming back for my six months visits now.

The staff also went over the financial details with me, answering all my questions and making sure I understood the costs and payment options upfront. Fantastic experience: I have some fear and avoided dental care for the longest but needed urgent attention recently (idk what my subconscious trauma is but if you're anything like me, this will be helpful.) Booking: 10 out of 10 Everything was done over the phone with the friendliest person, followed by convenient online forms. They were able to book me for the same day, on a weekend! I also received clear directions and parking instructions, which made everything easier. Office: 10 out of 10 The atmosphere in the waiting room was calm and welcoming. The office was impeccable —modern in every detail, and clean but not in a cold scary hospital way. Despite my anxiety, I felt comfortable. I’ll be honest: I immediately cried when I sat down. But every single person I interacted with was incredibly kind. I’m so grateful for the conversation, the distractions, and the comfort I was offered before anything even started. The suggestion to leave the X-ray vest on to mimic a weighted blanket? Absolutely brilliant. From that point on, it only got better. Communication: 10 out of 10 -Thorough explanations while not berating -Knowledgeable and confident -Friendly and professional -Frequent check-ins and affirmations Procedure: 10 out of 10 -I didn’t feel a thing -Never felt rushed -Felt great afterward Aftercare: 10 out of 10 I was given clear info about what to expect, what to do next, and even received a follow-up phone call once the fog had lifted. I can confidently say I’ll be back. And while I’ll probably still cry, I’ll hopefully be less afraid. I 100% recommend this facility and their incredible team. Naomi is so sweet. We initially met over the phone and she got me setup for my appointment. When I made it into the office, she was the same sweet person she was over the phone. Justin was so kind and sweet as well. He is the young Man who did my X-Rays and took pics of my teeth. He made sure I was comfortable and made me feel right at home. He asked me what genre of music did I want to hear and offered me some water until my Doctor was ready for me. Dennise was also very nice and helpful. Last but certainly not least was my Dentist, the AMAZING Dr. Tran!!!! Dr. Tran was awesome. He was very knowledgeable and sweet! He made me feel super comfortable. He has a way with words and while you’re sitting there in his chair, you get a sense of comfort to where you’re no longer nervous and anxious. My anxiety went away while sitting in Dr. Trans chair. He was making jokes and making me laugh all while still tending to my dental needs. I can’t express how much I really appreciate him and just how much of a WONDERFUL Dentist he really is!!!! I would definitely recommend him to anyone who is in need of an exceptional Dentist! Dr. Tran is for sure one of the BEST, Seriously!!!!! Negative experience: We made appointments for dental cleaning on a Saturday. We got x-rays done and went over these with the doctor. Not until the very end, they told us they don’t have hygienists working in the weekends. My husband and I got to find another clinic and pay all of this out of pocket now, as they exhausted our annual dental coverage. Also, keep appointment confirmation message with appointment time, as they moved my mine up an hour and then tried to move my husband’s from 1pm to 5pm as well.

My father had a dental emergency, and despite the office being busy, they were able to accommodate us promptly. Guivia was exceptionally helpful, and I am truly grateful for her assistance. Dentist of Bixby Knolls was very compassionate and didn't read me the laundry list of issues I had going on with a side of guilt. They kindly took care of my dental work and my mental well-being. Negative experience: My hygienist, Patty, is fantastic, and I’ve always had a great experience with her. However, for the first time, I was made to wait an hour without any explanation, which was really disappointing. I’ve trusted this office enough to send both my daughter when she became an adult and my 18-year-old son, but this new management needs to step up. I’m giving one star for this experience, but I hope things improve during the transition.

Fantastic experience: The best Dental office I’ve been to. Soon as you enter into the office the staff is very welcoming. Each staff member went through every step of the procedure they about to take you through. Denice is the greatest. She went over every detail to my wife and I about how their procedures work. Broke down the finances that we were about to take care of, and how their office cares and work with you in every way possible . Denise is a sweetheart. I can forget about the lady’s at the front desk. OMG, they are the coolest. Like I said, everybody that works in the office is friendly and welcoming. IDK everybody’s name but shots out to you all. I truly recommend this dental office if you haven’t found one yet, or even if you do have one, go check them out. I’m sure you would change to them in a heartbeat.

Fantastic experience: Recently I came in for the 20 dollar x rays and had an infected tooth. I didn't end up getting the treatment however they wrote me a prescription all same day service. The staff was friendly and professional and even sent me a hppy birthday text message

Fantastic experience: My daughter chipped her two front teeth on a Friday night and we needed a Saturday emergency appointment. That night around midnight, I had left numerous messages at about half a dozen dental offices. They were the only ones who got back to me with an appointment. They texted me at 8 am and got her in that day at 10. They were so nice as consoling as my daughter was extremely upset. They worked with us on the billing too and were very clear and upfront about the price. My daughter left that day with a beautiful smile and the confidence knowing she was in good hands. Fantastic experience: I’m back home! I have been getting dental care from this office that is excellent over many years!!! Then…. I got old: 65 Started looking around researching a new dental office that would take my (new to me) Medicare. After a few walk-in ‘looks’ to find a new dentist and hours of online research…. I know this place cannot be beat!!! I came back to inquire about how can I financially make it work to continue getting my dental care done HERE! The office manager spent almost an hour walking me thru affordability options In the end I am thrilled to say I AM BACK!!!! In fact she even got me my (due in Dec) dental cleaning the same day later that afternoon!!! This place is Spectacularly: Clean! Professional Friendly Caring Affordable And most of all. Positive experience: I had some dental work done during my pregnancy and postpartum, so I've been coming here for a while and can say the customer service is consistent.The staff are always very friendly and accommodating, each and every single person working here carries themselves very professionally. Often times I have to bring my baby and all of the ladies are so sweet with her. I recently had an implant after some scheduling conflicts, but Dr. Hussein explained everything thoroughly before, during and after my procedure.I felt confident in his work. He and the assistant worked very well together. His demeanor was friendly and warm. I'm not used to that from Dentists so it eased some anxiety of a new procedure. The office is very fair with accommodation and very apologetic for any inconveniences. I don't just feel like a patient with a dollar sign attached, they treat you like you're valuable and that means a lot. If you're new to the area or looking for a new dentist office, I would recommend this one.

Fantastic experience: I travel back and forth from california to washington and i'm very appreciative that they accomadted me last minute and they worked with my schedule. they squeezed me in and even though i was out of network they did a complimentary evaluation and general check up and x-rays. when i saw Dr Lim i was impressed he went over my treatment and it was important to me and he explained it all. today, patty the hygienist did a super job! in terms of my procedure. basically, i feel very good about the care and competnacy patty provided. they made me feel comfortable and for that reason i will be returning. I will be making efforts to get good insurance to come back.

Positive experience: I felt a lot of pain and was disappointed nothing more could be done. I have a very low threshold for pain. I also felt the dentist was losing patients with me. At the end the Dr. disappeared and I was given instruction by an assistant and shown the door. After 3 painful extractions there was no follow up except being told when to return.

Dr. Dang was such an expert and solve my problem in no time. I have two new crowns that look good and fit perfectly. The front office staff is very pleasant and efficient. Fantastic experience: Amazing and quick service. Went here to remove my wisdom teeth and now the pain is gone and it only took them about 30 minutes to remove at a really fair price. I paid up front i love how they have the option to do monthly payments.

Fantastic experience: My first visit was a great visit at Dentist Of Bixby Knolls and orthodontics of Bixby. From the phone call by the receptionist Christina, who helped me confirm my insurance policy, was accepted at their location. To each and every staff member that I got to meet, including Dr. Tang. Next will be how my bigger procedures get handled on my next visit. So far so good!

Negative experience: My husband and I tried this dental office for the first time. Our experience was okay. However, the dental office canceled my teeth cleaning the day of. I was a little annoyed because I paid a deposit of $80 over a week prior just to book the appointment. Then the day before the appt. I received a call and a voicemail stating they could not proceed with confirming my appt. without me calling back and giving “verbal confirmation” of my appt. I was confused why further confirmation was needed given I paid them a deposit. I stepped out of my meeting to call back and confirm. When I called, the person I spoke with then tried changing the time of my appt by moving it up. I was unable to move my appt. up due to other commitments. After the phone call, I then get a text message asking me to confirm my appt. All of this, for the office to cancel my appt the morning of. While I understand, emergencies may happen, the expectation is that the dental office reciprocate the expectations they have of their patients to respect their time and money. It has now been over a week since they canceled my appt and I have yet to receive my deposit back.

Negative experience: My experience at this dental office was nothing short of outrageous, starting with the appalling bedside manner of the front desk staff and dental assistants. From the beginning, I was met with rudeness and incompetence. The dental assistant, who seemed completely disinterested in providing proper care, repeatedly failed to take my X-rays correctly or even remove the protective vest afterward. She then left me alone in an empty office for 40 minutes with no explanation while she wandered off, doing who knows what. The real shock, however, came from the manager. I came in for a simple toothache, expecting a straightforward treatment plan. Instead, after the dentist finally examined me, the manager launched into a detailed breakdown of expensive procedures they claimed I "needed"—either a root canal or extraction. I have dental insurance I hadn’t used in two years, but they seemed more excited about maximizing my benefits than addressing my actual needs. The moment I mentioned I had LendingClub as a backup, they became visibly eager to charge nearly my entire available credit, prioritizing their profits over patient care. Before I made the mistake of mentioning LendingClub, they had been discussing a deposit, which seemed reasonable given my past experience with root canals costing around $4,000—half covered by insurance, half out-of-pocket. But once they realized they could tap into my full credit line, the conversation shifted entirely. The final straw was their blatant manipulation, charging me $13,200 upfront, long before any actual work was done, under the guise of "discounts." A mere $500 discount on such a steep amount is an insult, not a concession. This place felt more like a shady car dealership than a medical office. The staff’s relentless emails, texts, and calls in the months leading up to my visit should have been a red flag. They are clearly out to hit a quota, aggressively prioritizing insurance claims and third-party funds over genuine patient care. To make matters worse, the dental assistant—a tattooed girl with an attitude problem—was condescending and left me waiting, dismissive of my time and concerns. And the manager’s smug offer of a meager $100 off, after trying to drain my finances, was the final slap in the face. This office is a disgrace, focusing solely on squeezing as much money as possible from patients without delivering quality care. Beware: they’ll charge you the full amount before any work even begins, making it clear where their priorities lie. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who values honest, respectful, and ethical treatment.

Fantastic experience: Staff is very friendly and they always make me smile! Patty the hygienist is great! I've had my teeth cleaned many times by other dentists/hygienists but I was never able to floss without struggling to pull the floss out; so I very rarely flossed. Patty did such an amazing job at cleaning in between my teeth that now I floss often without any struggle!

Positive experience: Doctor is great, front desk needs to improve their communication skills when it comes to payment or information that their clients need to know. Especially if you are paying a high amount for a procedure, it’s unethical and unprofessional.

Fantastic experience: Quick and easy helped me get things done. I came in Without insurance and was in a tight spot but they offered a payment plan that helped me out. I had alot of things done for me on the day of. They treated me with care and kindness. Every patient matters as well as your teeth. So all I say is take care of your investment s. Or you will have to get alot more done in the future!

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience. It was the most pleasant experience I’ve ever had at a dentist. I went in for a consultation which only cost $19. Bri was so nice and fun. She helped me relax. Dr. Leland was nice and very informative. She answered all my questions. And last but not least, Denisse was very helpful when it came to billing. All the ladies there were very nice and fun to be around. I will be coming back.

Fantastic experience: On vacation and woke up with a lot of tooth pain. I called 4 different dentists and this office was the only one that was able to help! The entire team was so helpful! If we lived local this would be out new dentist office hands down!

Fantastic experience: Today was the first experience with Patty/Patricia (her government name) after I was finished I told her "that was the most pleasant cleaning I have ever had. Fantastic experience: 1st time at this office and I can honestly say that I loved it! Every single person was very kind and helpful. Each person made my son and I feel comfortable while there. Communication was on point! All the ladies were professionally well dressed. I would 100% recommend this place.

Fantastic experience: Switched to this dentist over 2 years ago and at the beginning the wait times were long, but now they are fully staffed and prompt when attending their patients. I love how careful the dentist explains what he will do. The office staff are overall well dressed, professional, and very friendly in comparison to other places I've been to. I enjoy coming to this place with my daughters. I do recommend for children, my daughter was terrified of dental work and she no longer cries. The equipment is up to date with technology and dental trends.
