Fantastic experience: This dental office is excellent. I can’t believe at 28 years old I found in office that I genuinely enjoy going to. they truly prioritize your health and create a treatment plan tailored to you and that JUST MAKES SENSE! Shoutout to Sabina! She quickly and efficiently completed my x-rays, as well as gave me an excellent cleaning. All staff explains everything in a way I can understand. The front desk truly is very organized. I am confident that my needs won’t get lost in their system like other local Dental groups with multiple offices. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Fantastic experience: This has been an outstanding dental office. I've been going here for over a decade and they've always been professional, friendly and easy to work with. I've seen a few different dental care specialists at this practice and they've all been excellent - demonstrating this provider's commitment to great staff. Their administrative staff worked with my insurance constraints to minimize my payments and were always accommodating. Appointments were always on time; I dont believe I've ever waited more than 5 minutes over a 10+ year range. The communication regarding appointments has always been on point (not excessive, nor inadequate). They have been lenient as well if I was ever running late as long as I would convey that -- not a huge ask/expectation on their patients. The recommendations by the doctors were also explained thoroughly and never seemed pushy. The doctors' demeanor was always friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend this practice to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I started coming to this dental office this year and I truly love it here. The customer care, welcoming energy, and punctual appointments are unmatched. Everyone is so personable, and I always feel comfortable and well cared for. Dr. Rhee filled two cavities for me, and even though I get nervous and am harder to numb, he was extremely patient to ensure I was comfortable the entire time and made the whole process smooth. The assistants are also very sweet and professional. After leaving a previous dentist that was unpleasant and shady, it’s nice to find an honest and transparent provider which is hard to come by these days. I’m so happy I found a dental office I can truly call my dentist. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: Probably saved from ending up in a place where I wasn’t truly welcome. I wish the receptionist had been honest instead of blaming a “fake” ZocDoc appointment that supposedly didn’t merge with their system. She could have said they were closing soon and couldn’t take a new patient on a Saturday. The condescending tone and body language made the experience even worse. A little warmth and honesty go a long way, especially at a dentist’s office.

Fantastic experience: I have been doing invisalign treatment with Dr Sung and she is amazing. Very kind and receptive to any feedback or concerns I've had, and answers all my questions. The staff in general are all very kind and friendly. Very good experience

Negative experience: I went in without an appointment but both the hygienist and dentist could see me in a matter of minutes. Dr. David Rhee, D.D.S. showed care in his examination and explained what he was doing to me. His dentistry is a true work of art. This was at the check-up visit..... However, when I got my dental work done, it was a very different story..... He told me that there is no point in me looking at the tooth that he drilled out before he filled it up ...... Plus, the Just Answer dentist, Dr. Katz told me that I did not need all of the drilling and filling to begin with..... Additionally, I felt pain over this tooth to the point where I got a root canal done on this tooth by an Endodontist, followed by a dental crown by the general dentist at Sage Dental when I moved to Kissimmee, FL..... Before, Dr. David Rhee, D.D.S. did any dental work, I did not have such dental problems..... I had a dental filling in that tooth #19 that I was allergic to..... Basically, I needed the filling replaced with a filling that I was not allergic to without the back side of the tooth drill out by tooth #18..... Luckily, tooth #18 got left alone..... However, Dr. David Rhee, D.D.S. made the entire situation worse than it actually was and yelled at me to stay still during the entire dental procedure, even though I was in pain during this procedure with the novacaine ... He told me that I should get the dental cleaning done before the dental check-up so that he can get a clearer look at my teeth..... Is this just to prescribe more dental work and/or cause more dental problems? He even got short with me and told me that this dental item that I am holding in this picture belongs to him...... Hopefully, the crown from Dr. Benard Nash, D.M.D. will hold up without any more pain..... I will keep you posted on what happens... At least Dr. Benard Nash D.M.D. will explain things to me thoroughly throughout all of my visits..... He even took a picture of my tooth without the dental crown on with my cellphone and liked the fact that I was interested in seeing how the tooth looks at all of the stages of this extremely dreadful dental procedure..... His explanation to me was that drilling the crown part of my natural tooth is like taking the egg shell off the egg or taking the branches off the tree.... I will still have the stump of the tooth that will be covered with a dental crown that is made at a dental laboratory...... Going through Everything with Dr. David Rhee, D.D.S. caused me nightmares and to be mentally traumatized....

Fantastic experience: My first visit and the ladies in the reception area greeted me and were very helpful, knowledgeable and took the time to walk me through my insurance and treatment questions. Dr. Marina was caring and gentle and listened and responded to my fears explained what was needed. As I have a fear of dentists, they put me at ease. An overall nice experience.

Positive experience: No frills dentist. I came here on two occasions recently. I found them on Zocdoc and booking was super easy through the app. You can fill out intake forms there prior to the appointment. You should come here with X-rays in hand if you don’t want to take images again due to radiation concerns as informed by hygienist Christina. My cleaning with Christina was thorough and fast. She was pretty gentle when i told her which areas were sensitive for me. I also like the information she gave me about mouth guards to help prevent wear and tear on the teeth. Luckily my insurance covered it. I also loved meeting Dr. Marina, she is so nice and patient. She answered all my questions about wisdom teeth and cavities. I returned to her two weeks later to do cavity fillings on a sensitive nerve and she was super sweet when i felt any sensitivity, she did not rush through the process and made me feel comfortable from start the finish. The office is super clean and they use top of the line technology. However , if you compare this office to clinics in manhattan , this place is missing the amenities that can enhance the experience like Netflix, sound canceling headphones and dim lighting. They also don’t give freebies like floss or dental products. I also noticed fluoride treatments tend to end up being an extra charge. I at least was able to get costs fast and upfront before proceeding with the services. I plan on sticking with Dr. Marina for all of my dental needs, she is very knowledgeable with amazing bedside manner and post care instructions.

Fantastic experience: I came here because I was in a lot of pain. I need a lot of dental work done and have visited many dentists on and off Staten Island, and they have all treated me like an alien. The staff in this office are all so friendly and comforting. A lady dentist saw me (I forgot her name), but she was very nice and patient with me. I was scheduled for an extraction and consultation with Dr. Kim, and he is an amazing dentist and oral surgeon I have ever encountered. He was very informative, honest, kind, and patient. His assistant is an angel. She is so sweet. I recommend that everyone come here, especially if you have had bad experiences with other dentists or if you have overall anxiety about seeing a dentist. During the extraction, he kept checking to ensure I was comfortable, and he was gentle, avoiding any roughness. I highly recommend this dental office. 10/10!

A very nice young lady explained my insurance coverage to me. And before I knew it I had an old filling replaced and had a temporary cap on my chipped tooth. The doctor was very nice and talked to me throughout the process. I highly recommend Staten Island Dental Group.

Fantastic experience: I came to this office after 2 failed attempts for a root canal at 2 other offices on the island. Dr Rhee was the man who was able to start and complete the root canal on my daughter who suffers from severe Anxiety disorder. It does help that Dr Rhee knows how to administer the correct medicine and how to take his patients. Other doctors did not know how to add and were mean to her disorder and not compassionate. Not at this office. The ENTIRE staff from the front desk to his assistant were so kind and gentle. Words cannot express the gratitude I have for them and how they took care of my daughter. Hands down the best on the island. Thank you Dr Rhee, To the assistant and staff for going above and beyond.

Fantastic experience: Today I had the most pleasant dental appointment I've ever had in an office. The staff was so nice and friendly. Both the doctor and the hygienist were gentle and explained everything as they went continually asking me if I was okay and if I needed to stop. Instead of coming back for 2 other appointments, they were able to fit me in the same day. The office helped me get on a payment plan for all work that needs to get done. What a refreshing experience!

Everyone is so friendly and took the time to answer all my questions. I was able to get a new bridge done virtually painless (I needed a lot of work under the old bridge) in only 2 visits. Dr. Shoykhet took her time and made sure I was comfortable throughout the visits. I would definitely recommend her and the office.

Negative experience: You know something isn’t right when they tell you that you need a root canal and have multiple cavities even though your teeth are perfectly fine!! Went to another dentist for a second opinion and I was told my teeth were fine!!! Complete scam operation. Dishonest and disgusting people!!

Negative experience: I recently attempted to book a dental appointment through Zocdoc and was frustrated by the experience. Zocdoc showed several open appointments for my preferred dentist, so I scheduled a time that worked perfectly for me. However, shortly after booking, I received a call from the receptionist informing me that the doctor was not available at that time and that my appointment would need to be canceled. This experience was not only disappointing but also inconvenient. The lack of synchronization between Zocdoc's booking system and the actual availability of the dentist's office caused unnecessary confusion and wasted my time. If the doctor is not available, this information should be updated on the website to prevent such conflicts. Additionally, the receptionist's manner was less than courteous, adding to my frustration. Clear and polite communication is essential, especially when informing a patient about a scheduling issue that is no fault of their own. To improve the patient experience, either the information on Zocdoc needs to be kept current and accurate, or the office staff should be better trained in handling these situations with empathy and professionalism.

Negative experience: This is the worst dentist in Staten Island i would never go and write reviews but i feel like i have to the staff are so rude and don’t know how to talk to people i paid 3,000 for my wisdom teeth removal and they got infected ONE WHOLE month later after the doctor told me i was fine and they refused to send me more medication unless i paid them again Never go here they only want your money
