Fantastic experience: Have been bringing my daughter here the past 2-3 years and it has been amazing. I really don’t know of anyone or any child that looks forward to seeing their dentist but she does. She especially enjoys when the dental tech brushes her teeth. Everyone here is very friendly and friendly and kind to my daughter. I would very highly recommend First Smile Pediatric Dentistry.

Fantastic experience: Took my daughter here for the first time and the assistant who cleaned her teeth was absolutely amazing, gentle, and kind. My daughter felt so comfortable around her and actually let her clean her teeth. Dr. Marfatia was also very knowledgeable and took his time to examine her teeth. I’m glad I found this place and it’s not a surprise to me why they have 5 stars.

Fantastic experience: My son is 8 years old and I have been taking him here since he was about 2. I now have a 1-year-old and she is going to this dentist as well today was her first appointment she did great as far as babies go. He is quick efficient effective he cares about the children he cares about their smiles and their teeth and their health he goes above and beyond to make sure that everyone is comfortable including parents and that everybody knows what's going on and what's expected. They do stay very busy you need to make the appointment early on and keep the appointment and make sure you show up to the appointment they are very gracious on rescheduling or getting you back in if you're sick or something like that I honestly have nothing negative to say about this dental office my children have nothing negative to say so if I could give them a hundred Stars I would. This comes from a very Dental phobic parent as well

They were able to fit in my 1 year old after my 4 year old appointment so I wouldn't have to come back later on in the week. So incredibly helpful and kind.

Fantastic experience: My daughter has been coming to this clinic since 2022 and she loves it! She has positive experience every time and is excited to come back when her appointment approaches. The staff at front desk, the hygienist and the doctor are all very friendly and efficient. We typically spend 30 minutes for the routine cleaning and check up, and there is minimal wait time. They have very good process and time management, and they do not over treat, which is such a big plus. The facility is clean and inviting. There is a play area with toys and books, as well as two iPads to keep the kids entertained during the short waiting time. Overall a great dental clinic for kids. I did lots of research and read many reviews before picking this clinic for my daughter when we moved to this area and I’m very glad I did. I’ve already recommended this clinic to many of my friends and hope this review would be helpful if you’re trying to find a good clinic for your children.

Fantastic experience: Love First Smile!! So do my four kids. Two have special needs and EVERY staff member is patient and kind to each of the kids. The dentist is amazing. I had to switch insurance at work to get my kids back to this dentist and it was worth it. So grateful we found this place! I hate to recommend it and make it more popular but every child and parent deserves to have this experience at the dentist.

We were nervous about taking our toddler to the dentist for the first time, so it was very relieving to have as pleasant an experience as possible. The dental hygienist, Julianna, and dentist, Dr Marfatia, were extremely patient, kind, and encouraging with our daughter (and her parents too!). The process for managing the referral/paperwork and communication with staff before the appointment was also quite seamless. Grateful to have found this office for our daughter’s care.

Positive experience: Five stars to the doctor and to Stephany and Brenda. The other front office gal is so rude, you don’t get a welcome to the office or hi. She just asked what’s the patients name and seems bothered when asking questions about certain appointments or staff. Positive experience: That was very quick review. When my kid had a dental visit earlier in San Diego they really took good amount of time in dental cleanings and examining. But in first smile pediatric, nurse took very few mins to clean. And dr was good. But nurse could have spent more time in cleaning. I was not completely satisfied.

Fantastic experience: Dr Marfatia is just amazing, it’s been more than 3 years taking my kids to this clinic and I am very happy with the way they treat us and the staff are very patient with my kids. The clinic is clean and they take all the precautions without freaking us out.

Negative experience: I made a big mistake by making an appointment for my 4 year old daughter with this office. I’ m a physician of 20 years of service and I was so disappointed with their work. After moving to this area, I just made this appointment based on good reviews about Dr. Marfatia. We were seen by some other person, and nobody explained why we are not seeing him. Most of the staff were very inpatient and after trying once they decided not to perform an X-ray and the person decided to treat cavities under anesthesia in less than 5 minutes, giving no information about the procedure and risks. The front desk person was very rude and reluctant to answer my questions, when I asked why we are not seeing Dr. Marfatia and got a reply “someone else (Dr.Wu) is covering him”. I definitely do not recommend this place to anyone. I will drive my daughter, to my elder daughter’s dentist in Riverside who always did an excellent job with his team. These people should learn to be patient with kids rather than making treatment decisions without discussing with parents and making us feel like you are taking their “very important” time. Truly bad place.

Fantastic experience: I took my daughter who is about to turn 3 to the dentist for the very first time because of the pandemic. I am very glad I chose First Smile Pediatric Dentistry for her. Both the hygenist and Dr. Marfatia were super patient and friendly. She had her teeth cleaned and also had the check up without a drop of tear! The environment is bright and comfortable. They also have TV on the ceiling so the kids can just try to relax while having their teeth cleaned. My 18 months old son also had his first appointment at the same time. And of course he cried but both the hygienist and Dr. Marfatia were super understanding and tried to comfort him. I was very impressed with the place. Would recommend it to any parents who are anxious about taking the kids to the dentist just like me.
