In pediatric dentistry, nitrous oxide is used to help patients feel relaxed, and the timing may vary based on individual comfort and readiness. Our providers are trained to move forward only when a child is appropriately calm and safe to proceed.

Regarding sedation, it is never pushed. It is offered only when it is in the child’s best interest, based on behavior, safety, and clinical needs. We are always happy to work with insurance companies, including submitting pre-authorizations when necessary.
