Negative experience: I am extremely upset about our experience here. I brought my 1-year-old for his/her first dental visit and the assistant was shockingly rough and impatient. She brushed my baby’s teeth aggressively for about five minutes until the gums were bleeding while my child was screaming and crying the entire time. There was zero gentleness, zero attempt to comfort a terrified infant, and not even an apology after making a baby bleed. This is completely unacceptable for a place that sees young children. If you have a baby or toddler, I strongly do NOT recommend bringing them here.

Negative experience: Was super excited to have my son get established at an office with such high reviews. Granted we had a 5 o clock appointment, when we got there it was packed like sardines. We waited for over an hour before we were seen by the actual dentist. The assistant told us the Dr was in the middle of a treatment so it would take another 10 minutes after waiting for 20 minutes. That 10 minutes turned into an hour. Spoke to someone to ask if my son could have a snack because it was past his dinner time and since they weren't sure when she was done and they said no (seriously?) I did not get friendly vibes from an office that specializes in pediatrics. The front desk ladies were irritated at the kids up front and I overheard them negatively speaking about a patient who had just left. Saw Dr. Jackie for less than 5 minutes and although she said sorry we had to wait, she seemed a little irritated that I was irritated (because I was). She was not welcoming what so ever. As a health care professional myself, I understand waits are common but from start to finish it was a horrible experience. Their reviews are so high because they tell you to scan the QR code for a review and stand there and give you their name to mention in the post. Please don't take your kids here.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with this dental office and am truly impressed. I’m very grateful I spoke with DeAnna over the phone, who was able to get both of my teens scheduled as new patients for cleanings the very next day. DeAnna and her front desk teammate (whose name I unfortunately didn’t catch) are very warm and welcoming. They make sure to greet all patients and are organized and thorough. DeAnna sent the new patient paperwork to be completed prior to our arrival, which made the visits seamless and smooth. When we arrived for the appointments, they were seen within five to ten minutes—no long waiting period at all. The staff explains all procedures clearly and never hesitates to address any questions a parent or child may have. They also take the time to explain what is being billed to my insurance to prevent any discrepancies or unnecessary charges before departure, which I really appreciate. They make sure to schedule follow-up appointments to help keep patients on track with their oral health, which I feel is very important since dental offices are often so busy and availability can be limited. The registered dental assistants (RDAs), Litzi and Ida, were extremely attentive, caring, and patient. They did not rush and made my children feel comfortable throughout the visit. The facility is very clean, and it’s clear the staff continuously sanitizes equipment between patients. The rooms were spotless, and the teamwork and communication among the staff were excellent. The equipment and technology used in this office are state of the art and up to date, which is another big plus. Dr. Jackie truly cares about what she does and knows how to cater to the pediatric age groups she serves. She explains oral hygiene in a way children can understand, helping them learn how to properly care for their teeth. This made me as a parent feel confident in the services being provided. I have been to other dental offices in Elk Grove, and by far this has been one of the more pleasant/best experiences with the most professional and friendly staff—hands down. Overall, a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend this office! I believe you won’t be disappointed taking your child/children here! You and your family are in good hands!

Fantastic experience: We were so well attended! My 2.5 year old daughter loved her experience. Juana was our DA and she did an amazing job, she was kind and helpful and my daughter loved her!! I also really like that they spoke Spanish to my daughter so she would feel comfortable. Cristal was also very kind and so was the dentist. Thank you so much for making this a very special first experience for our daughter - we look forward to our next visit !!!

Negative experience: Horrible customer service they canceled my daughter’s appointment because we didn’t confirm. They said we could wait there and see if someone doesn’t come for her to be seen. They said it was a new policy They have never given that information to any of their customers, nor is it in any of the reminders. When I asked to speak with the office manager the lady said she was at lunch and she would call me back and they never called back.

Negative experience: Very disappointed in this visit. The DA who worked on my child was very rude. My daughter was so excited to come to the dentist and kept trying to talk to her and everything she said the DA basically ignored her. She didn’t explain to my child anything she was going to do/ doing or to me. I’ve worked in the dental field and this was bad. I was the one having to tell my daughter everything. Shocked that she even asked me for a review. Not good with kids AT ALL or even adults. If this was my first visit here I probably wouldn’t go back.

Positive experience: I've been bringing by daughter's here for 3 years until several months back Dr. Jackie came in and she is very rude and has no sympathy if you're in pain. I had specifically asked when they asked me for our next visit for filling not to have her but Dr. OSMOND and apparently the hygienist make a mistake so when I told her we didn't ask for her she was real upset..She was telling the hygienist how the dr. had cleaned her teeth and was scraping hard and she was like you won't find anything. She thinks she is better than anyone else and is so condescending. When my daughter and I were asking questions about a cavity she got really upset and said I didn't draw it on here on the x-ray. She thought we didn't believe she had a cavity I guess but that wasn't it at all. We finally dropped it and then she said well I don't feel like it's OK and kept going and I finally left and my daughter was crying so we will not be back!! Dr Jacquelyn has no care for her patients. She even asked if my daughter wanted to be numb to fill the cavity cause she said she usually doesn't for this small job. Well when I took my daughter to her new dentist he said it was not a small job and he definitely would numb for it. Dr Jacequlyn also is very rough when she scrapes the teeth she doesn't care about you or your child and will argue about it. I don't understand how she is a dentist. All the dental hygienist have been nice. Jamila was very nice and good with my daughter. We come back because of her and my daughter feels comfortable with her but we ask specifically not to see Dr.Jackie. I suggest avoiding Dr Jackie and everyone else is really nice. We've seen Jamila twice now and highly recommend her.

Fantastic experience: This was our 3rd visit for our daughter, who now has her “big girl teeth” growing in. We were worried that the appointment was going to be painful, fortunately it wasn’t. Jamila was amazing! When she was doing x-rays, there was one image that she couldn’t get because it was really uncomfortable for my daughter, it was making her gag. However, Jamila adjusted and was able to get a different tool to complete the images. She also got her a blanket to help make her more comfortable. The staff all around were so nice and accommodating. The dentist (I’m so sorry I forgot her name!) showed my daughter how to apply pressure to her “baby teeth” and eased our concerns. I’d recommend this dentist for your little one. ☺️

Fantastic experience: Had a great first experience! Took my 4 year old daughter in today for her first appointment, which consisted of an x-ray and cleaning. I absolutely love the aesthetic of the office itself. Super cute in the jungle theme, had fun things for the kids to do while waiting for their appointment time. The office staff were super friendly, and so helpful. they were very warm and welcoming, which made the arrival process go pleasant and smoothly. We were called back in less then 7 minutes by a phenomenal person named Crystal. She explained everything with such comfort and efficiency. She had great positive energy. Next, the assistant Juañita came in and took the X-rays, and performed the cleaning. She too was super sweet, and extremely patient. The final person we saw was the Dentist Dr. Jackie… she was such a breath of fresh air! She was so gentle, caring, and professional. Hands down I would recommend this place and give it 5 stars!!!

The front desk staff, including Jamila, Linda, Dr. Jackie, Dr. Osman, and their team, have always been incredibly patient and dedicated to my children’s dental needs. They’ve made my kids feel safe and have taught them valuable skills about taking care of their teeth. We have four children who visit this office, and we’ve never had any issues. If I ever have any questions or concerns Linda has always been very helpful and supportive on explaining the process.

The wait is never that long and I’m always able to get an appointment when I call in if it’s outside of our 6 month cleaning. Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience at Elk Grove kids dentist & orthodontics. The dr Osman was so friendly and explained the process to my child very well. Assistant Juana made my child feel completely comfortable from the moment we walked in. She was gentle, patient, and explained everything in a way my child could understand. The clinic was clean, bright, and perfectly designed for kids — from the colorful decor to the fun prizes after the visit! I’m so happy we found a place that truly cares about children’s smiles. Highly recommend to all parents!
