Fantastic experience: They always do a thorough job cleaning my teeth, including inbetween my permanent retainer on my bottom teeth! Ive even chipped my tooth and the doctor did a great job repairing it.

Negative experience: Did not explain dental plan nor explained the procedure.

Fantastic experience: This is my fourth visit here, and I can confidently say the entire staff is incredibly friendly and professional. The office is always clean and welcoming. Dr. Lana has a special way of making you feel comfortable from the moment you sit down. She explains things with simplicity, works efficiently, and does a great job every time. I truly don’t have a single complaint. I will absolutely continue coming here and confidently referring others!

Negative experience: I would give zero stars if I could. I went to this dental office to check on my teeth and find out which ones needed crowns, since my insurance covers them. They took an X-ray and told me it would take two weeks for my insurance to respond. I waited and followed up—they said they would call me back but never did. I called my insurance directly, and they told me they never even received any request for authorization from the dentist. Totally unprofessional and careless. I won’t be going back.

Negative experience: I used to go with Dr. Lana and my experiences were good. I had to go for an emergency the first time due to me having tooth pain. It turned out that I needed a root canal. I am very grateful for her to have been able to fix my tooth at the moment. A week passed after my root canal has been done and I started feeling pain so I went back and she said it was nothing. Right before the new tooth crown went on she had to shave my tooth. I had asked for more numbing and she kept saying wait we are almost done. I felt most of what was being done. Once I left I cried in my car because of the new trauma I had. It has now been two years and I have had 2 infections and discomfort on my tooth. I went to a new dentist and turns out that a whole root was left in my tooth and that is why I’ve had discomfort on that tooth for so long. I have a fear for anything related with the dentist now due to the last time I had gone to this dentist office. I would not recommend anything but teeth cleanings to be done here. When I had gone for my teeth cleanings they have been fine but if you have a cavity or anything else needing to be done I would recommend another dentist.

Negative experience: This office should be sued and shut down for the rude way they treat patients. A veterinarian will treat you better than Dr. Svetlana. Never go to this office again.

Fantastic experience: Went here first time after moving Virginia. Was kind of nervous finding a new dental office but I will say this is; hands down the best service I’ve receive. I don’t know what’s in the water up here in Kansas but wow the hospitality was off the charts. Went in for a simple check up/cleaning(that I was late for) and was in and out within 45 mins. 10/10 would recommend.

Fantastic experience: Had my first visit with the office yesterday and was immediately taken care of I have a phobia of the x rays and the film always hurts so much with rushed placement, yesterday was the first time in my 20+ years of dental encounters that my comfort was taken into consideration and that was all on account shante, I expressed my concern and she took her time to make sure I was comfortable with every step, I loved doctors Lana as well and couldn’t help but express to her how helpful her team was, I believe I have found my new dental home .

Shante the (Office Manager) educated me about my insurance plan and was detailed. I can tell she loves what she does and never want a you surprised about cost. Dr. Lana was amazing too, LOVE her accent and she is funny! You get the feeling they actually care and want you to feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. The place is clean, the vibes are calm, and they don’t make you feel rushed, judged or pushy with it (which I’ve definitely felt at other places). Everyone was welcoming and called me by name. Small close knit Family Dental! Definitely planning to stick with them—10 out of 10, highly recommend!

Negative experience: Worst experience with Dr Lana and her team. I took my mother for gum pain and possible tooth extraction referral. She referred her to an oral surgeon whose office doesn't accept insurance that we have and when I called back and told them that oral surgeon doesn't accept insurance and my mother is in pain now. Her team said pay out of pocket or find oral surgeon that accepts insurance and they can't help her relieving pain due to gum issues. They don't practice good ethics, empathy and professionalism. They leave their patients to drown in sea.

Negative experience: Last time I was here was a horrible experience of being yelled at and accused of lying about my insurance. I received no apology when I proved my statements were accurate. I will not be back.

Furthermore, do not be mislead by the 4.7 Stars on the review portion because the owners are able to delete and allow posts that present their business in a light of best practice even when the business is not. The dentist made remarks during conversation with me regarding my teeth and my education that were extremely rude, unprofessional, and discouraging. Additionally, the dentist spoke to the assistant helping do my services condescendingly (the assistant should not be spoken to that way by the dentist ever). Pets are fantastic but imagine being at the dentist and there is a dog walking around or jumps onto your side/lap area while you are sitting in a chair and your mouth is wide open….rather, do not imagine it because this is actually what happened to me. Sadly, the dog (belongs to the dentist) had a very bad odor so this was not at all pleasant or therapeutic in any way. The dentist should care for her pet better by bathing the pet. Upon entry, I was told to perform my own check in and health history on a lap top that was handed to me whereas typically this is a part of the services provided at most dentistry establishments. As I did my check in and health history, I had the opportunity to listen to the front dentistry staff speak to a patient on the phone using the mute button so that the patient on the line did not overhear the sarcastic remarks being made about he or she. Even though the dentist had beautiful, long, red painted nails about 2 inches long this was not ideal to me since the hands are what a dentist primarily uses for services provided inside my mouth. My first visit to this dentistry included everything mentioned here and X-rays of my teeth. That is it. Nothing else, no cleaning, nothing. This experience is the worst I have ever had at a dentistry in my near 4 decades of life. It surprises me that this dentistry is in business within Overland Park, Kansas. Surely, no locals are going to stand for this sort of service in such a prestigious area as Johnson County, Kansas. Suggestion, do not utilize this dentistry unless the information shared with you here is in alignment with your standards when going to a dentist.

Fantastic experience: Great service once again as with all of my visits. Dr Lana is great, very straight forward, works quickly while being thorough. This practice is very accommodating and I have been satisfied with their standard of quality.

Negative experience: My sister and I both went here for teeth cleanings. After telling my sister some rude remarks Dr.Lana had made about my teeth, she said that when she opened her mouth Dr.Lana laughed and asked if she wanted to get her smile straightened. After getting my teeth cleaned the tech gave me a barcode to scan to leave a 5-star review and receive a coupon, I would not recommend this place to anyone. I went back for a filling and she continued to talk about my teeth while working on the filling. I have never had a dentist be so unprofessional, I left feeling self conscious about my teeth.

Negative experience: I am posting on behalf of my daughter- I am giving 2 stars because we have had service here and it has been good. However, I was recently made aware of the conversation between my daughter and Dr. Lana. Dr. Lana told her that she has a pretty smile- if only you'd brush your teeth will you keep it. Quirky, rude, and presumptuous to say to a young woman. My daughter had braces and is hypervigilant about maintaining her "pretty smile" and dental health- water pic, electric toothbrush, wears her retainers every night. I was offended for her. She is 18 now and will decide where to go for future dental care. I am certain she will not accept this treatment from her next dentist.

Negative experience: Second time going there and doctor came out started lying about saving my teeth last time I was there she was very rude I will never go back there ever again

Fantastic experience: When I went to see Dr. Lana my teeth were a mess. Had some infected teeth that had to be removed. Dr. Lana and assistant took very good care of me during this time keeping me as comfortable and pain free as possible.! Feeling much better now! Negative experience: I have never had such a bad experience than I had at image dentistry in Overland Park Ks. They are so unprofessional and unkind, they do not follow any type of policies or procedures. I had a crown put in by the main dentist there and they didn’t match up the color of my tooth and when she was fitting in on my tooth she had to drill on the crown for over 10 or 15 min. And told me she was not going to work on it any longer. And it is now loose and will probably come out anytime now. You can only be 1 min late past your appointment or you have to reschedule. This place should not be in business especially in the location they are in, they do not fit in with the service we get in this area. Worst service I’ve ever received.

Negative experience: I will start off by saying I personally never leave a bad review but for this one I just could not let it go. We have been going there for 2 years now (2-3 visits in total) and I have NEVER been treated so disrespectfully by anyone before (specially a place of business). The dentist is lovely, however the lady that deals with insurance is VERY RUDE and abrasive to us. She would not allow us to speak and basically told us not to call again. Safe to say we will definitely NEVER go there again. VERY poor costumer service skills.

Fantastic experience: Recently went to this dental office. Everything went really good! I hadn't had a cleaning for a few years so I got a deep clean and several fillings done, they all came out great. The main Dentist seems to be very skilled at dentistry and very good with all the movements that needed to happen to make everything smooth. Very clean, precision based work. I haven't seen my teeth this white, smooth and clean in years. After years of self neglect I'm very grateful that this Dentistry was able to bring my teeth back to life. The office staff was very professional, kind and guided me through the entire process from phone call to the end. They seemed to really care about me and were careful. They didn't seem to be on the clock (like what I'm used to everywhere it seems like these days). I feel that this Dentistry office is one I can vouch for. If you have some light to serious end work that needs to be done you might want to give this place a try! Highly recommend.

I’ve had some Pretty painful dental experiences so I was a little skeptical. Even now when I think about it, it’s hard to believe that Hunter at image dentistry, clean my teeth WITHOUT ANY NUMBING MEDS, and I was able to tolerate it. It wasn’t completely painless, but she seemed genuinely concerned about my comfort. The procedure went surprisingly well. I have a very low tolerance to pain, and Hunter was very accommodating. Hunter and Dr. Lana spent additional time with me to discuss plans for going forward. Overall the experience was professional and pleasant!

Being a first time patient I was a little nervous but the entire staff was super friendly and helpful. Makeyla was one of the girls who helped me and was very caring and friendly. Negative experience: This dental practice bribes their customers to leave 5-star reviews. Pay no attention to the great reviews - it is all deceit. They seemed pleasant at first, even though the cleaning I received was far from thorough. I came in later to get my fillings redone - unfortunately they told me they were short-staffed and had to rush it. They left my fillings rough and unpolished. As soon as I saw the sign stating that they will give you a free smoothie in exchange for a 5-star review, I realized why the reviews on Google were so good. I picked this dentistry based on the good reviews, but if the reviews are based on bribery and lies, I want nothing to do with a dental practice that exhibits such a level of dishonesty upfront. Truly scummy, shameful, and deceitful behavior. I'll be reporting this to Google with photographic evidence.
