Fantastic experience: Alli was great at explaining everything and made me feel very comfortable with what was going to happen next! Very thankful for this practice

Negative experience: Two weeks ago, I went in for an Invisalign consultation. As many people know, that process can feel stressful, and I appreciated how kind the team was initially. Judy Hoelting (treatment coordinator) was especially thorough and professional during the appointment. However, after the exam, I was told someone would call me back within a week to follow up. That did not happen. It ended up being 11 days, and I had to call the office myself. For a practice that emphasizes strong customer service, not following through on a promised callback is concerning—especially when patients are in the middle of making an important (and expensive) treatment decision. Communication and follow-through matter. Overall, the initial consultation was positive, but the lack of timely follow-up was disappointing and something I believe prospective patients should be aware of.

Fantastic experience: All 3 of my children received their orthodontic care from Bulleigh Orthodontics in Shawnee. The staff at Bulleigh are always going above and beyond to make you feel at ease. Negative experience: I had a consultation with my son and it's a nice building and the consultation ladies are so nice and welcoming. And I overlooked the fact that the orthodontist stood up and started inching away during our time because I was told to give them a couple weeks to talk over a plan for my teeth. I was given a pamphlet for information about filing my teeth down and I got a great plan and breakdown for my son. 3 weeks later I go in, excited to hear my plan. I expected the consultation room and the Orthodontist and I was honestly excited for the big plan and the information. But I was taken to a treatment chair and made small talk and that lady left while we waited for the ortho. I started hurriedly googling about braces and bites because it became clear the visit wasn't what I expected and I wasn't prepared. The orthodontist comes in and tells me the plan is... invisilign. I waited 3 weeks for them to decide invisilign was best for me over braces. She then asked if I had any questions, literally, the only thing after 3 weeks is. Invisilign any questions? And I said I'm not excited or exactly on board with having my teeth filed. And she said you got the pamphlet right? And I'm not the best at advocating for myself on the spot. I tried my best to ask good clarifying questions but it became very clear that things would not be explained. Or could not be explained? Maybe because they don't have time for me. I had no time to process so when I asked the first lady a question to clarify it seemed to have put her off, and her whole demeanor changed. She was hurting my mouth with the device that maps my teeth, she felt so over me and honestly that just ruined my day. My kids were good and quiet and sitting nicely, I was on time, I didn't express any displeasure ever. I don't know why I got the cold shoulder and I don't appreciate being treated like I just need to do what they say and not care about the why. They don't even have my money yet and they treated me like that. They did take the time to map my mouth to see how much space they needed exactly, simply because I wouldn't drop it and that gave the ortho a way to leave for the next patient. And now I'm waiting again on information. There's so many good reviews and they were so good for my son. I'm just so disappointed. You don't need to call me with the results to the mapping. Like I said, I can't advocate for myself the way someone needs to be able to for this business relationship to work out. I'm editing my review to point out that my appointment was at 2:30, my kids had time to watch the fish, find the wifi password, trouble shoot the wifi, find the baby fish, get called back, wait for the ortho. And I was out the door at 3. Pictures of their pamphlet and the picture they took of my teeth.

Fantastic experience: Starting with process from getting fitted for braces to the point of getting my daughter’s braces off, went so smoothly and stayed on schedule. Bulleigh Orthodontics offered many financial options which also made this experience worry free. Starting with the staff that work the front desk to the end point of the Dental Assistant /Orthodontist, did not meet an unfriendly person there and I was always explained the goal of each visit. I would highly recommend Bulleigh Orthodontics!!!

Fantastic experience: We are new to Kansas so we were nervous to try to find an ortho for our youngest daughter that met the standards of our other older kids experiences who got their braces in Texas and had amazing time.. well not only did they meet the standards but also went above and beyond! This was the best experience for our daughter! The appointments were always a smooth process and done in a timely matter! The staff was always very sweet, helpful and patient! Everyone was always super nice and always greeted us with a smile and made us comfortable! Thank you guys for all that you do!!

Fantastic experience: We just finished up treatment for my 15yo and still have a 13yo in braces. It's been a great experience at Bulleigh and I highly recommend them. The staff has been courteous and professional but also very warm and caring. They worked hard to get my son into the device he needed during the beginning of the pandemic and have worked with us on rearranging appointments to fit particular needs. They are always our first recommendation to friends when they are starting the Orthodontics journey with their kids. I will even be seeing them to re-correct my own smile once my kids are completely done.

He was always comfortable and they explained everything that they were going to do before they did it. We really appreciate them and the service they provided. I even told my stepdaughter about them and she got her braces there as well. Awesome job guy's!!

Fantastic experience: Appreciated Dr.Bulleigh's conservative approach. Another Ortho recommended palette expansion, whereas Dr.Bulleigh didn't think she did, and just wanted to give her time to grow. Sure enough after phase one and two, she didn't need it. Great staff who was also very patient and kind with my daughter who gets nervous for appointments.

I'm very satisfied with the results. My process finished sooner than expected and that made me very happy. I feel more confident now with a beautiful smile. My son just finished with braces. His teeth look amazing! It was a 2 phase part with some time off in between ( that's part of the process for kids getting all of their adult teeth). The staff made sure he was comfortable and if he needed any supplies, such as wax or bands, they were happy to give us extra. Finally, orthodontic work adds up. Bulleigh orthodontics worked with me on a payment plan that fits my budget. They also give discounts too!

Years ago, we went to him for a second opinion and he recommended waiting for braces because he felt if we did it right at that time, we would be going through the whole process again a few years down the road. We will be going back to him for our second child.

My son had his braces somewhere else and the appointments would take over an hour at times. They are always on time at Bulleigh and most appointments are around 20 minutes.

Judy, the Treatment Coordinator, is so knowledgeable and compassionate. I fall into the category of people that have zero Orthodontic insurance. Without this office allowing me to make payments, with ZERO intrest, I may not have been able to do this for my daughter. The office is beautiful, clean, and comfortable. You're missing out on a one of a kind experience going anywhere else in my opinion.

Fantastic experience: We have 2 kiddos that are currently patients at Bulleigh Orthodontics and I have to tell you, I love the staff! One of our kids has very active epilepsy and with that epilepsy, comes a lot of sensory issues. Not only they give great service to my Daughter everytime we are there, but they are also so kind, friendly, welcoming and have this great vibe. I always feel good when im in their office at shawnee. The receptionists are friendly and so beautiful!. Environment is nice and always so clean!. I love all the staff members at Bulleigh. Or, and the coffee is such a plus!

Fantastic experience: Getting braces can be scary. However, Dr. Bulleigh has treated two of my kids, both of whom have had great results! During the months of treatment, the front desk staff has always been very friendly and helpful, and the techs are caring, professional and competent. One time on a late Friday afternoon, my daughter needed an adjustment of newly installed hardware that was poking the insides of her cheek. The after-hours desk had a tech call me and within the hour, she met us at the office and fixed the problem. Great service, and always easy to work with!

Fantastic experience: Dr Bulleigh and his staff provided a first class experience over the 2 plus years our daughter was in braces. They were always willing to see her whenever she was experiencing issues with her wires. They never kept us waiting at appointment time and worked with us on the most convenient scheduling. All around it was the right choice for orthodontic work.

Fantastic experience: I recently completed my Invisilign treatment (1.5 years) with Dr. Bulleigh and Dr. Sander. The experience was exceptional! Dr. Bulleigh , Dr. Sander, and staff are always friendly and take the time to listen. The atmosphere was professional with a focus on patient care and attention to detail.
