Dr. Sweet performed the procedure and was able to negotiate the price. Saved me a lot of money. Will definitely go back.

Negative experience: This place is horrible and will try their best to scam you anyway possible. I had perfect teeth most of my life and rarely ever got cavities all throughout my childhood. I started going to this place around 2 years ago and every time I went for a “checkup” they would point out random shadings and call them cavities (keep in mind I drink coffee practically everyday) and persuade me to get them taken care of as soon as possible. I had over 7 random fillings done that never bothered me but this last time I went there only a couple months ago the dentist there told me I had a “cavity” on my back tooth that would come back eventually and heavily persuaded me into getting a crown (keep in mind this tooth did not bother me at all, wasn’t infected or cracked and never had a root canal or nothing) I was worried but he reassured me that the crown was necessary and it was going to be a breeze putting it on “just a cap over your tooth”. I got heavily persuaded into getting a crown on a tooth that didn’t even need one at all and also got persuaded into paying an extra $1000 dollars for a scam dental plan they have in house, so in total I got scammed out of $2000+ dollars for a crown I didn’t need and also a fake dental insurance plan from them. You might think I’m crazy because dentists aren’t supposed to lie right? Wrong, it’s a business and they try to sell you the services in order to get paid. I also went and got a second opinion after I got my crown on and they also basically told me everything I said on here and that I never needed one in the first place they also said the “cavities” they said they were keeping an eye on didn’t even exist. This place ruined my teeth and I strongly suggest you to stay away from it, they will try to seem nice and friendly but are running a scam business like no other, they were able to fool me so props to that but never again.

Fantastic experience: On time,gentle,explained things: thank you...did not feel the procedure! Everyone is friendly too. The animal channel kept me entertained throughout.

Negative experience: I got charged about $60 for them to tell me what I already knew that I had two teeth that need pulled. They only thing they did was poke the teeth that were already hurting and tell me to pay another $3000 rite then. I didn’t have $3000 so they did nothing. After irritating the teeth that were giving me problems they wouldn’t even give me a shot to relieve the pain they caused.

Negative experience: I brought a family member here on Medicare to get some dental work done. After specifically mentioning that he doesn't have the capability to pay outside of whatever is covered by Medicare, I was assured that they would not bill anything additional without our approval. Except that we got a bill from them and they refused to do anything about it. As expected, they blamed us and claimed that they did not know that he had x-rays done prior to coming in. Not only did they ask where he had dental work done before, they had enough time to reach out to the previous location and get any x-rays they needed. Instead of accepting they made a mistake, they unfortunately doubled down. They are very friendly to get you in, but once a mistake is made, they will not own up to it. I would stay away.

Fantastic experience: Erin is my denral hygienist at Thunderbird Studio. I just love her she is the greatest hygienist that has ever cleaned my teeth. She never hurts me!! And that is very important and she always does a wonderful job and I hope I can go to her the rest of my life. I would recommend her to anyone that cares about their teeth and does not enjoy pain!! She cares about her job and I would assume she treats everyone like she treats me. Personally I would love to have her for a dentist however, she is a hygienist. I can't say enough good things about Erin, she is gentle in your mouth and like I said she doesn't cause any pain!!! Thank you Erin!!!

Fantastic experience: I had a broken tooth extracted by Dr. Sweet yesterday at Thunderbird Dental Studios. Every one, from start to finish, was very professional and put me at ease. Louis and Jackie did a wonderful job of checking me in and helping me with paperwork. Dr. Sweet and assistant were also wonderful in getting me set up and taking out my broken tooth and sutchering me up. This was all done in about an hour. You will have me as a regular customer, Lord willing!"

Fantastic experience: If you are looking for a positive dentist experience then go to Thunderbird Dental. I have been coming here for about 2 years now. Jackie, the office manager is amazing. She listens, genuinely cares about your experience and provides you with information needed to make informed decisions about your dental care. Erin, the hygienist, also provides excellent care and is caring. The dentist is also equally caring and positive. I literally dreaded going to the dentist before coming here but now I go happily knowing that I will be taken care of with excellence.

Negative experience: I would not recommend this place at all. Their communication is horrendous! First, they have to schedule an initial appointment to be seen by the dentists at all, which was not properly communicated when I scheduled the appointment. Second, they won't clean them when they first see you so then you have to schedule another appointment to take more time off to do. Then, if you have cavities, then it takes 2 weeks to actually get them done, which is mind blowing. Lastly, if you need to discuss your bill, then it takes 2-6 months to be resolved or talk to someone to discuss it. Also they had on the TV playing random videos of snakes the whole time, and didn't even bother to ask if it was ok as one would think to ask as people have fears of snakes. Overall, I had to get a second opinion as I know my own teeth/ body and knew that I didn't have any cavities. I got that second opinion and didn't have any cavities and could actually get seen by the dentist and teeth cleaned on the same day.

Dr Sweet was extra gentle during the cavities and using the numbing needle. it was very much appreciated. Erin the hygienist was gentle during the deep cleaning.

Fantastic experience: My trip to this Dentist was an emergency, and they took were able to take me. They were so nice and kind from the receptionist to the assistant to the Dentist that I asked to be a permanent patient! The Dentist was knowledgeable, explained every step, and was very good! I would recommend them!!

Fantastic experience: (UPDATED 2024) Everyone here is so kind and caring. I want to throw out a few names of people who have made dentist trips less terrifying for me. Dr. Ganne is amazing & funny (sadly no longer here). He was very thorough and great at explaining everything. Dr.Sweet has also moved but is such an amazing dentist. Erin the hygenist, she’s amazing! Her skills and compassion are unmatched. I don’t know how she does it!!! But I never felt pain when she numbed me. It usually hurts tremendously when anyone else does it. Carlos the dental assistant wiped my tears with his gloves when my anxiety started to kick in (lol) its little things like this that make an impact on patients. Front desk Jackie has been nothing but kind and attentive. She is always on top of everything and greets everyone with a smile. CRYSTALLLLL she is AMAAAAZING. She would thrive as a dentistshe is gifted with knowledge and compassion. Jacque the dental assistant is also very attentive, kind, reassuring which helps with my dental anxiety. They all deserve a raise!!! Going to recommend this dentistry to everyone i know.

Negative experience: Don’t go here. Extremelyyyyyy over priced and they try and upscale you over the phone to get you to come in and don’t tell you the correct price until procedure is already done. They use false 3rd party apps as well that don’t actually work. The funny lookin black man lady in the front with the braids is the one you gotta look out for. No one actually knows what their doing here

Negative experience: The providers and assistance there are phenomenal! I really love that they focus on your immediate needs rather than trying to draw out an elaborate treatment plan just to start charging as much as they possibly can. They even have available slots for same-day treatment. Unfortunately I will not be able to get their services anytime soon because of the pricing for treatment. I am a disabled veteran on a fixed income and unfortunately we'll have to wait quite a while to be able to save enough just to get the procedure started. This is so unfortunate as I wanted to give a higher rating but being that they can't do much in regards to payment plans I have to be honest and given honest rating.

Negative experience: Used to love this dentist, Dr Sweet was great. I followed him and the office when he moved and I will say now - I'm finding a new dentist. The dental hygienists are so so rough, even after explaining I've had a maxilla fracture and do not like heavy pressure on my front teeth, they floss so hard the dentist afterwards said "oh looks like you cut yourself flossing recently" to which I replied "no your assistant just did that" and was never apologized to. Fluoride is pushed heavily, dental work is pushed heavily. I have never, not once, expressed discomfort for having discolored teeth (didn't take care of them as a kid, and now drink coffee) yet every single time I'm there for a routine cleaning (every 6m) they tell me to look into veneers. If I was there to look into veneers, I would've said so. Also at my most recent cleaning, the new dentist there told me I needed to have a filling done because my tooth, and I quote, "has deep grooves in it". A tooth that has never been an issue before, ever. No cavity, no breaks, nothing. They've become money hungry and I will not be returning.

Fantastic experience: I have been with Thunderbird Dental since 2020 and have been thrilled with the service provided. They are extremely oriented towards patient comfort and always ensure that you are not in pain. Their fees are transparent and they never try to upsell you unneeded products or services. They are flexible on payment and happy to work with you whether its an insurance issue or a financing need. I never had my teeth completely taken care of before Thunderbird Dental because I never felt comfortable with the service I received. Thunderbird Dental changed all of that. I cannot recommend them enough.

Fantastic experience: The Entire staff from the front desk to the Dr and throughout was such a lovely warm lil family I was so grateful to find! I’m a pretty tough lady but was very embarrassed I lost my front tooth crown. No words can put into words how sweet, kind and loving they made me feel. As someone with no dental insurance, they had plans I can work with was just amazing! Run don’t walk to this office!!

Negative experience: I was very impressed with the. staff at Thunderbird Dental Studio and with Carol and Dr. Stein in particular. Carol has been our hygienist for several years and we're looking forward to a very positive relationship with her and Dr. Stein for many more years! As an update (2024), I found a new dentist in 2023 after being told I needed almost $10,000 in dental work. Six months prior I was told my teeth were in good condition. When I later questioned how my teeth could have changed so drastically in six months, I was told the new estimate was a recommendation not a necessity. I did not see the same dentist when I was given the estimate.

Negative experience: Thunderbird Dental Studio is a Joke. Jackie (The receptionist) is extremely unhelpful so when i asked for a supervisor or someone else to talk to she refused. She admitted to calling other dental locations and sharing misinformation and threatening police. She is out of control and escalated a situation that just needed more communication. She needs more training on how to treat human beings, much less work for customer service. Ive never had such a negative experience with someone who was on the clock. Regardless, resolution should've been the answer. It was my goal but not hers. So sad.

Fantastic experience: The service here is Amazing ! Jackie was wonderful with helping me figure out the prices to get my teeth cleaned and recapped that I could afford . Everyone was helpful and did a great job with my deep cleaning and making sure I was comfortable and happy with my teeth. They even made sure I would have my teeth fixed by my Birthday which was a time crunch . I am so happy I chose them and will be a regular patient now . Thank you guys so much .. Negative experience: After being diagnosed and made out to to need rather extensive dental work than what was actually needed. I got a second opinion and that resulted in realistic results. Do not recommend going here. My husband was received a bill for the service we paid for stating we need to pay more for the insurance. Which after asking for an itemized receipt, magically was never sent.

Positive experience: First visit! Went well! Waiting to hear that my tooth implant will be okayed. It had been but now they changed their policy and I feel it should still be followed through with. not the dentist that is changing it. It’s my insurance, but it was approved for last year, but we had to let the gum heal.

Negative experience: Update: 2nd opinion assured me I didn’t need these fillings replaced that were only a few years old. This dentist is now a scam artist unfortunately. Dentist said I need to have 6 fillings replaced. I left and then questioned when I had some of them done. I called and it was in 2020 by them, I obviously would like an explanation of why they need to be done again so quick. I can’t get a doctor or tech to call me back to explain. The staff taking care of my dental appt were again while at the appt. I have been a patient here for a few years and disappointed this time before even coming in. I had an appt booked. I got an automated text confirming a different time weeks later. I clarified my appt time and they said my requested time was full so they moved me to a different time… Good to know. I could have made it work if I was given more then same week notice. Great customer service.

Negative experience: This place is a joke. All they want is your money. This was a return visit because a crown they installed fell off for the third time. Dentist blamed me, said there was new decay around the tooth. Said I wasn’t flossing enough. Funny, the crown fell off while I was flossing. On my previous visit a dentist I had never seen looked at my teeth after my routine cleaning and said I needed $8,000 worth of work done.

Fantastic experience: Just wanted to give a shout out to my dentist Dr Ghorbani and dental hygienist Jackie! They both were amazing in getting all my dental work accomplished within months. From fillings, replacing a crown, and a bridge to getting my new retainer made. Dr Ghorbani sets out a plan and gets it done to make my teeth good as new. Jackie is absolutely the best in explaining everything from beginning to end. I don't usually give comments but these two deserve recognition for all their hard work and making this patient very happy! Thank you again!

Fantastic experience: Dr Ghorbani, his technician, and front desk staff were all great in addressing the problem I had with my denture. It was my first visit at this location and even though they did not have the part for my denture given it is from Europe, they made every attempt to fix the broken retentions on my denture implants. The repair was done in a very effective and creative way and in a timely manner. They went above and beyond and did a fantastic job. I will definitely visit them again for my future denture needs and recommend them to friends and family members also. Well done and thank you.

Fantastic experience: Let me tell you first and foremost God is amazing! I had an emergency pain in one of my moulers, which kept me up all night, as I prayed to the Lord for the excruciating pain to go away. This was the first facility that I made an appointment for and it turns out I needed my tooth pulled and can you believe I was in and out of the office in 3 hours?! From x-rays, to diagnosis, to professional advice to address the options I had, this place is a blessing and I pray over this place, you can say angels work here, everyone was extremely friendly and assured me everything was going to be fine! The Dr. (can’t believe I forgot his name) was very humble and showed humility to not just me but other patients I could hear as I waited. If you’re nervous, don’t be for God is always with you even if you don’t feel his presence. Financial options are available and this place man, I just know is where God sent me, God bless you all once again!

Fantastic experience: I walked in with my sister who was getting 3 teeth pulled. I had chipped my front tooth and thought I'd take a chance and see when I could get it fixed. Jackie checked and don't you know, they could do it right then! The whole office is great. I appreciate them.

Fantastic experience: I called numerous dentists to get in after I "chipped"my tooth. Thunderbird Dental was the quickest one to get me an appt. This was my first time coming here. Everyone was very nice. loved my dentist and dental asst. They took picture of my tooth and showed me that it wasn't just chipped but a chunk of it came off!. They were able to get me a temporary crown that day. Now I just wait for the permanent one. Would recommend coming here.

Fantastic experience: My dental appointment today was wonderful. I love both of the ladies named Jackie and especially the dentist. I'd like to add to my review: I am almost 69 years old and I am saying that this is the absolute best dental office I have ever been to. The dentists are professionals in their experience and in their manner, and they are as nice as can be. The women who work there, (both are named Jackie), are amazing and knowledgeable and as long as I have been living in Arizona, I won't be going to any other dental office, except Thunderbird Dental. I wish I had known of them many years ago but if I talk to anyone about needing a dentist I will definitely mention Thunderbird dental to them and give an excellent review.

Negative experience: Lady that works in the front got no manners had attitude without knowing the situation. tried explaining to her but got nothing but disrespect and attitude and blamed for no reason without knowing the truth. Lost another potential client n how many more do you lose from her attitude

Negative experience: I went too this office for a cleaning and wisdom tooth extraction. I had an Allergic reaction and called the on call answering service on the weekend and no message was given to the dentist. I called Monday and went in to get prescriptions but not much care or concern went into my symptoms. Fast forward two weeks later I have an appointment scheduled but tell Jackie at the front desk what's going on. I tell her my chin lips gums and teeth are still numb I have horrible pain on and off can't chew properly and that I'm concerned my trigeminal nerve has been damaged. She was not at all empathetic no concern didn't try to help in any way didn't offer to get the dentist to call me. Now I've got to go pay $300 out of pocket for a CT scan to see if I'm permanently disabled! I chose this place because of the great reviews but unfortunately this has not been my experience.

Fantastic experience: Grateful to have found Thunderbird Dental Studio. Jackie, the office manager is on her game. She knows insurance and continues to make all my appointments transparent when it comes to billing. The back office ladies, Crystal, Erin and Laura are simply the best. Always feel welcome and comfortable knowing I'm in good hands. Dr Ganne is kind, caring, patient and professional just to name a few qualities I have experienced. The office in general is pleasant with a warm feeling and friendly caring smiles. Highly recommend to anyone who needs and or wants a Dental practice they can trust from the beginning. Fantastic experience: I moved to the Phoenix area from Denver, CO 6 years ago and have tried many different dentists all of which I wasn't happy with. That is until I tried Thunderbird Dental Studios. Thunderbird Dental is excellent and reminds me of the dentist I went to in CO for over 25 years. Erin, the hygienist is very gentle with a light touch. I love her. Jackie at the front desk took her time explaining the ins and outs of my insurance coverage. The dentist also took his time explaining everything. Overall this is an excellent dental office and as long as this staff is here I hope to be coming back for years to come. I highly rec this place.

Negative experience: So it was multiple events; first I had to go back 11 times between checks and fixing issues and redoing the job, where I needed to go only 2 or 3 times. I paid extra at the beginning and they said we'll write you a check once the balance is finalized in two weeks.. it took them 2 months to give me the money back, and Jackie was so rude and unprofessional at all. Never coming back

Fantastic experience: The Dental Office was visible from the street. The parking was close to the door and there were plenty of spaces. There were large signs indicating the Dental Studio location. The office was clean, comfortable, and modern. The front office receptionist was very courteous and professional. The Dental Assistant was patient, kind, and very excellent at her job. Dr. Stein was a very personable, gentle and thorough dentist. He has a great chair side mannerism, I felt comfortable and pleased with all the positive energy he and his staff projected . I would recommend this Dental office to anyone who has concerns and anxiety, because the overall quality of service that you get is hands down % . Thank you Dr Stein and staff for making my dental experience a wonderful one.

Fantastic experience: The staff was very personable and professional. I had 3 wisdom teeth removed at once with just local anesthetic and it was a breeze. I couldn’t be happier with the service I was provided.

Fantastic experience: Overall my experience with this facility has been phenomenal however I did find out today that I prefer one staff member over the other but that doesn't change the way i feel about this facility. They have been wonderful through my anxiety!

Negative experience: My last experience at Dr Sweet dental office was horrible to say the least. I NEVER saw or TALK to any dentist! The lower denture was supposedly been fix for $261.00. It was ill fitted, worse than what it was!!! It had to be sent back to the LAB after an hour of unsuccesful adjustments by the tech. BTW, he had to make another impression???

Fantastic experience: I was first time in this location and I was impressed , waiting room nicely decorated that you feel welcomed and very comfortable. Exam rooms also great , comfortable and separated that when you walk in privacy is provided . Nice and welcoming staff

Fantastic experience: Dr.durrani was very nice and understanding and was able to help me get medicine for my infection on my wisdom tooth front office staff very sweet as well and the assistant assisting the dentist . I’m very nervous person when it come to the dentist but I didn’t feel nervous at all would definitely recommend them for your dental needs.

Fantastic experience: Very professional service from start to finish. Notifications prior to appointment. Great staff when entering and introduction to new location. The hygienist and doctor were very professional and kind.

Negative experience: It was somewhat professional, but a bit awkward. Front desk lady was nice, but the dental hygienist that cleaned my teeth today obviously did not read my file at all. I’ve been going here for 2 years and it’s gotten worse every time I go. Ready to find a dental office that makes me feel comfortable and takes care of my needs

Fantastic experience: 6-8-22. I have my permanent crowns today. The young man that helped me get them fitted properly took his time and was very patient with me. I have had great success with all my dental needs. Thank you so much!

Fantastic experience: For a long time I was nervous and scared to go to the dentist but at Thunderbird Dental from the front desk to the X-Ray to the Doctor ‍⚕️ They care about making sure your receiving the help that you need and that you understand every step they take to make your smile healthy and bright. I would and I will recommend everyone to them because they are so great at making sure you receive the help, and yes they have Financial avenues that you can take. I am a very Happy customer

Fantastic experience: The entire staff is attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Sweet takes the time to explain all your options and does excellent work. If there was a six star rating they would have it.

Fantastic experience: I honestly believe Dr. Durrani has a “gift” for this profession! It was the easiest filling I ever had done. Everything seemed easy for him. Adjusting my bite after the filling wasn’t an ordeal. He just “gets it”. A natural!! Not a struggle. I was a bit worried about his experience because he is so young. But he is very detailed and astute. His youth works in his favor.

Negative experience: Never was seen end up leaving , kept calling people before me. I made an appt the day before, filled out all paper work before I even got there online, arrived 15min early, was waiting 35min and they called people walking in after me. If I can give no stars I would. And it smelled very bad in there.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Sweet was very knowledgeable and professional explaining to me a problem that I have with a recent crown implanted by another dentist. I feel in good hands now and will be going back to him!

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience today with Dr.G, Erin and Jackie. Dr. G was very gentle with the procedures and did a wonderful job. I highly recommend him. Also, Jackie at the front desk Is professional, helpful, kind, honest and calming to those that are uncomfortable with any dental procedures. Great office, thank you Jackie and Dr. G.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely phenomenal service. I had a dental emergency and was frantically trying to get help around 2:45 pm I called them, not even being a patient of theirs and the lady that answered was right on it and I was able to get seen by 3pm! The staff from front desk to medical staff are all very professional, caring, patience and helpful. They have definitely gained me as a patient. I’d give them 10 starts if I could.
