Fantastic experience: I will preface this with, I HATE DENTAL WORK! I LOVE my new dental office. I had to have an emergency extraction, and after 40 minutes of trying to find one who could fit me in, I found Armed Forces Dental Center. From the initial phone call to waxing poetic about coffee with the ladies at the front desk, to the tech (Sorry! I've forgotten your name) who held my hand when the scary needle came out, to the Dr who pulled 2 teeth, I felt genuinely cared for and supported. I am actually looking forward to my next dentist appointment for the first time ever.

Fantastic experience: My first visit to this dental facility was an awesome experience, the receptionist was polite and friendly. After being called back fr my exam, the dental assistant was polite and friendly and treated me with respect and kindness. The Doctor was polite, professional and explained everything that needed to be done politely. Thank you all

Negative experience: I am very disappointed with the scheduling process at Armed Forces Dental. I booked an appointment three weeks in advance for February 5th at 1:00 PM. On short notice, they requested to move my appointment to 8:00 AM. Since I intended to keep my originally confirmed time, I did not accept the change. Instead of honoring the original appointment, they simply canceled it and told me I had to reschedule. It is unprofessional to cancel a confirmed appointment just because a client cannot accommodate a last-minute schedule change. I expected better communication and respect for my time.

Negative experience: Trying to make an appt here is gross when you call and they've outsourced their front office and the people answering don't understand private insurance. Way to go treating military families.

Also, the call center staff have always done and outstanding job answering questions and making appointments. All our dental work have been flawless and painless. The The overall facility has always been in a very high level of cleanliness and maintenance. I fully recommend Armed Forces Dental Clinic.

Fantastic experience: My experience at the armed forces dental center was absolutely incredible every body was very experienced and nice. And the work done on my teeth was very satisfied.

Negative experience: My experience with this office was sharply divided. I want to emphasize that Dr. Tran is outstanding. The extraction and subsequent root canal he performed were excellent, and I am highly satisfied with the clinical outcome. However, the administrative and customer service experience was deeply disappointing. I have had ongoing difficulties getting clear, detailed information about my claims, insurance payments, and refund timelines, which are complex contractual matters. For financial clarity, the only representative who consistently provided satisfactory answers was "Dee." During a call today, November 24, 2025, concerning my ledger status, I spoke with a representative named "Ary." She provided vague answers, was unclear on simple amounts, and seemed unfamiliar with basic customer service standards. She repeatedly interrupted me, making it impossible to fully explain my inquiries and this has not been the first time she has done this, prior to my November 6th 2025 appointment I was not advised that I had any credit on my account when I had been paying for services out of pocket. When I calmly asked her why she had an attitude, stating I was simply trying to gain clarity, she replied that she "just wanted clarity" herself, which I could have provided if she had allowed me to speak. She then dismissively told me I could "just wait for Dee to come back on Wednesday." This level of service is unacceptable. Dentistry is expensive, and clients deserve detailed, patient, and professional explanations regarding their financial accounts, especially when seeking to close their relationship with the office. The inability of certain staff to provide accurate, respectful, and timely information detracts significantly from the excellent care provided by the clinical team. The office leadership should review call recordings and address the need for better training in communication, professionalism, and detailed financial explanations.

Fantastic experience: This is a very nice facility. The staff are very friendly and very knowledgeable. They took the time to make sure I was informed of every procedure they were going to do. I am very satisfied with this clinic and I recommend it to anyone.

Positive experience: The dentist office was very clean. The staff were wonderful. My only negative comment is the dentist needs to get an enunciation teacher. It was difficult to understand what he was saying. His cultural practice of sort of singing makes his English difficult to completely comprehend. I mean no disrespect, but it was difficult for me to understand him. Thank goodness the staff is clear as a bell.

Positive experience: My first time there ,was an amazing experience! Staff was so kind, prompt and understanding! The dentist assistant showed she really cared for my teeth needs! They made me feel at ease since dentist offices always scare me.. lol On a second note.. many months later, the actual doctor was a little rough around my mouth. Maybe he was having a bad day. Also, I did not know my insurance maxed out until my cleaning and x-rays were over and done with. It's when they decided to tell me. And granted they gave me a discount after I complained about it, I still had to pay out of pocket!

Fantastic experience: I ended up breaking a tooth. I called around to numerous places trying to get in. They were able to get me in for an emergency tooth extraction. I went in nervous and came out feeling impressed. My dental assistant and my dentist made me very comfortable. I plan to schedule to get my wisdom teeth out in the next couple months here! Due to the care and treatment I had received while being on a short notice.

Fantastic experience: Armed Forces made everything an easy process. They took my insurance, and I had no out of pocket expenses. I got a same day appointment for an emergency tooth extraction of 4 teeth. Dr. Tran was like a warrior going to battle. This was a serious infection, but Dr. Tran got it done. You don't have to be a veteran or active duty, just call. The staff are amazing, that includes the front desk, and the dental assistants. My assistant Paige got me through the oral surgery. The facility is clean, and professional.

Fantastic experience: Went in for a tooth extraction that was bothering me for a while, came in I was very nervous about being there and getting shots in my mouth. But the staff and Dr. Tran made me feel at ease the second shot I got in my mouth by Dr. Tran scared me at first but over all experience was great. Between the dental assistant and the dentist to the rest of the staff was wonderful. Made me feel like everything was going to be okay.

Fantastic experience: My hygienist is super. Always works on my cleaning in a timely manner. Very friendly also. Such a joy to go see.

Negative experience: Called and spoke to Ari at the front desk because I believe my filling that was done here is failing. She told me there would be a fee to have it looked at even though I have spent over $2,000 cash to have these fillings done THEY WERE JUST DONE 3 MONTHS AGO. I wanted to make sure they knew they were done very recently and I was told it's most likely something I'm doing wrong to cause the filling to fail even though it's brand new. If you research it most dental practices will gurantee a filling under 6 months old because things can go wrong. Sometimes improper placement or not all of the decay was removed properly. Regardless, they should atleast have the patient come in for a quick exam to see if it is failing due to any of those factors. I use a water pik and brush religiously. Very disappointed in their lack of willingness to back their work. When I asked for the dentist to give me a call to clarify i was told " I'll take your number but he doesn't call people back". Steer clear and go to one of the many places in town that back their work and have customer care in mind. This place is just here to squeeze every dime they can out of you. I will not be returning and I'll be letting my friends know. Very disappointing.

Negative experience: I think this dentist office is a rip off. I went there to get some work done and it’s $8000 worth of work. There is no way I could have that much wrong with my mouth so I’m going to get a second opinion because I don’t believe nothing they tell me about All the stuff they said I need it for my mouth. They did my friend the same way she had like $8000 worth of work and she went to a dentist and she didn’t even have that much. I only found one thing wrong so I’m going to get a second opinion I will not be going back there ever .

Negative experience: I am not pleased with the dental service received on my 10/1 visit. The instrument used in my mouth was nasty, I did not see or discuss treatment with the doctor.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Dr. Tran's office for years. His team has always been so nice and always addressed any concerns I had in a timely manner. Everyone from the front to the back of the office has always been amazing. I highly recommend his office. You can trust that you will always have great service for all your dental needs.

Negative experience: I’m actually terribly disappointed by this establishment. It was the most uncomfortable and pressuring experience I’ve had in a dental company. I went in for a filling and the doctor firstly, banger my tooth with the metal hammer multiple times asking if it hurt. (I get it I know this is part of the process but he was hitting my tooth the hardest he possible could OVER AND OVER AGAIN pulling back with every hit. ) I tell him to stop and he does not and keeps asking well does it hurt? and I say no MULTIPLE TIMES inconsiderate and as if he WANTED me to say yes. Then when it comes to the actual booking they put my on the schedule immediately for the next day and tells me what time? I told them I don’t know if I can come in I would need to check my schedule do not set an appointment I will call back myself when I know for sure. And this keeps going back and forth and they say “ WELL if you don’t confirm a time now we won’t save the appointment for you tomorrow! “ and I say i understand numerous of times. The nurse assistant keeps pushing that I’m on schedule and what time? I finally say again to cancel it multiple times. She was more interested in filling up the schedule and finally says ok I guess it works out we’re already full enough. Horrible they just wanted me to come in for more screenings and I kept saying I was not interested. If my tooth didn’t hurt before IT SURE DOES NOW. Absolutely horrible.

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience at Armed Forces Dental Center! Every single person from the office to the clinical staff were extremely kind and genuine. Hands down the best experience I had at a dental office. Dr.Tran is very confident and fast at what he does and his assistants Paige and Birdie were very gentle and comforting. I have dental anxiety and they made sure to keep me comfortable and calm. The front office Beth and Amanda were great as well and I enjoyed speaking with them while I was there. Negative experience: I called to discuss partial dentures. My dentist who was going to make them, suddenly had to take a leave of absence. I wanted to find someone who could perform the job. Have previously looked into implants and they are too expensive. I was very specific on my needs. Just wanted to talk about cost and length of time for them to make the partial. Like everyone before me that I saw, they said they needed to do xrays. Same as everyone else. Dentist tried to sell me on implants and a special bridge. I just wanted a partial. I was then informed of a price at twice the cost if my dentist. I told them I needed to think about it. I was then informed that the visit cost $210. I was there for a specific consultation. Free at 4 previous locations. I was told they had to do their examination to determine the cost and eligibility of dentures. I was never told about any cost. So beware. They probably do great work. Sounds like it. But I will never know. I will not be going there ever. That was aweful. Very shady

Negative experience: I have been a patient here since 2018 and I never had a problem with Dr.Tran or the dental hygienist or dental assistants. They have always been nice and friendly to me. Unfortunately, since they have hired new people to work the front the vibe has been different. I feel like the new receptionist that they have is very rude and unprofessional. I wasn’t able to make it to my two dental cleanings due to certain circumstances that I am going through in life and I wasn’t able to call and let them know in advance. So I was a no call no show twice. My FAULT, I know. But I called them to reschedule and I was told since I was no called, no show twice that I would have to call the day that I am available to see if they can fit me in or I could walk in and see if they could take me in. So it’s not a guarantee if they could fit me in or not. And when I was on the phone with her she wanted to hang up on me so quick, like she didn’t want to deal with me. I never had this problem before with the other receptionist that use to work there. She was always professional and understanding. So as much as I hate to have another dentist, because Dr. Tran always did an amazing job. I will be taking my services elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Everyone here is kind.  Answers all my questions. And I ask a bunch.  Dr Tran has always been fast and knowledgeable.  I'm 30 years old and hate getting numb and doing root canals because I always feel the pain but I didnt feel any pain with him. He knows what he's doing. They're always upfront about everything and I'm not getting a bill right after appointment and weeks later too like other dentist do here in town. Negative experience: Dr. Hung Tran gave me the absolute worst dental experience I’ve ever had. I told him I just want two teeth pulled & he started listing reasons why I shouldn’t, then proceeded to throw his arms in the air, walked away from talking to me saying, “if that’s what you want to do, we can do that”. I thought it was very unprofessional, rude & inconsiderate. I chose this place because it had such great reviews but I will not be going back.

Positive experience: I’ll be finding a new dentist after next week because front desk staff is so rude. I had to reschedule due to my sitter being unavailable to watch my kids and she said are you actually going to make it this time? Mind you i have always given more than a day notice when i had to reschedule. I didn't just cancel day of. Yall have time to book that slot.

Negative experience: Wife went today . They said needed 10 teeth pulled numbed her and stopped after X-rays. Then told her could be permanent nerve damage . Didn’t even charge her . every-time asked the dentist was very weird not profesional wouldn’t recommend to anyone now they tried pull 3 teeth and sent home . She is in pain now after sitting there 3 hours . Fact said free shows they messed up . Will be contacting attorney if issue . Wife has anxiety you don’t wait till leave say may be nerve damage forever Oh showed another dentist said only one tooth should be pulled but now sure all 3 are loose. Someone needs to call me

Negative experience: I decided to go here because of the good reviews, however this was by far THE WORST experience with a dentist . Dr. Hung is by far the rudest and most unprofessional dentist I’ve dealt with in my whole life. I needed a lot of work done on my teeth and because no one has ever really explained it to me, I’m unsure of where my dental health should be considering all that I needed done. The receptionist and my hygienist were super sweet and very caring. Nettie was absolutely amazing The office is really nice and hopefully no one else experiences will be like my experience. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMENDED.

Negative experience: DO NOT GO HERE!! I went to this dentist in a pinch for some tooth pain 8 months pregnant. They told me I need 2 root canals a crown and another filling… fast forward a few months I went to a trusted dentist which told me none of that was true. I had one single cavity in the tooth they told me I needed a root canal and a crown on. I had a bad feeling when they tried to push me to get all the work done the same day. Along with me being pregnant which wasn’t safe and I would have been in so much pain since I couldn’t have had pain meds. Horrible people to do that to someone just for money. Please do not go here and get unnecessary work done.

Fantastic experience: I got an appointment the same day I called. I was able to get my work done the same day. Staff is very professional and polite. They have many options for payment services to fit your budget. Very satisfied and cant wait to come back.
