Fantastic experience: I’ve had 2 surgeries done at COMS and both were the best oral surgical experiences I’ve had in 60 years of dental work. The first was an implant and I had zero pain the following day. As I noted to Dr Kramer the surgeon who performed both surgeries, I’ve had more residual discomfort from a cleaning then from his work. The second surgery was a molar extraction. The actual extraction took less then 60 seconds and 48 hours later I have no need for any pain killers. I wish I had found COMS years ago.

Fantastic experience: Everyone there is amazing, Dr. Strasia is like the Bruce Lee of Oral Surgery! All the staff are very friendly and direct, any bad reviews I can assure you are the patient not the staff or doctors. I went in with a terrible infection for an emergency and had to get two teeth pulled right next to each other. It didn’t hurt and the assistant/Nurse was great too, I would mention her name but I can’t remember it or find it. These people are awesome!! Hands down best experience ever in this type of situation. If you don’t go there for there services you’re making a mistake! Great job everyone, 5 stars isn’t enough!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Pansegrau and his assistant delivered professional, compassionate, and friendly service. In less than an hour, I had four extractions and one implant placed. In the past that would have been two treatments, adding months to recovery. This office is calm and caring. It’s not the kind of place you want to go but if you need oral surgery, I highly recommend Dr. Pansegrau and his team.

Fantastic experience: Having 4 wisdom teeth extracted was something I was not looking forward to having done, but they needed to be removed. The team was quick to get me in for an appointment, and quick to get the procedure started once I was in the chair. Will definitely consider going to this clinic again if I need more serious work done later on.

Fantastic experience: Excellent care by my son’s oral surgeon Dr Dyer and his entire staff who made the entire experience reassuring and comfortable. Dr Dyer explained everything directly to my son, and has excellent bedside manners. His staff were attentive and friendly. Very clear postoperative instructions were given before we left. An A+ experience all around.

Negative experience: If I could put a negative star review, I would. This center does malpractices for teeth extraction. One of them put numbing and came back 15 minutes backs later after the reaction of the numbing was gone and continued the teeth extraction anyway. They didnt use gloves right away for doing the procedure either. They charge outrageous but gave me back a discounted portion. And they're rude, not friendly people.

Fantastic experience: This was the best dentist/ oral surgeon I’ve ever been to. I’m normally terrified of the dentist, but they made it very clear. Everything was going to be OK and reinsured me. that I was in good hands, Dr. Dyer Ran me through the whole process of my wisdom teeth extraction I went under anesthesia woke up and everything was all done. 10 out of 10 experience would recommend going here. Best dentist I’ve ever been to.

The surgeon was very knowledgeable, knew how to administer anesthesia without discomfort and made whole experience of a tooth extraction smooth, painless and quick. Negative experience: I guess if your poor and on medicaid insurance, even with a referral, they said a year or more for people with medicaid with impacted wisdom teeth actively causing a minor pain.. ... all I could do was cry the system feels soo unfair and broken.. but hey thanks recommending somewhere else And maybe work on tones with people when discussing insurance.. I shouldn't be made to feel less or belittled because I have medicaid insurance. The tone of that lady's voice completely changed and she said, "ohhhh that insurance" Like dang, I wish the call was recorded.

Fantastic experience: Very impressive practice. Oral surgery is never going to be fun, but the atmosphere here was not intimidating and the providers are skilled and efficient. I would definitely go back to Dr. Goldberg for any future surgeries.

After obtaining service here, we realized that everyone who had given one.Sorry must have been lying. I was explaining were I had been for my tooth extraction. It turns out he had been to the Center for an extraction and had a similar good experience.

Fantastic experience: I needed a tooth extracted right away. Waited only a few days. I was terrified! I was one of the lucky ones. My tooth came out in one piece. The procedure didn’t take more than 10 minutes. Staff is very supportive and reassuring. I will be back in December for my implant. I’m not worried at all. Thank you everyone!!!

Negative experience: The dentist and his assistant did a great job removing my wisdom tooth. The office requires payment in full, before leaving, which I did, using my VISA. My Insurance also paid them in full, in 2 separate payments. After each of those 2 insurance payments to COMS, I called COMS Billing (Celest) and asked why they had not credited the payments to my VISA account. Each time, they said they had not received the Insurance payments because they "must have been lost in the mail." The second time, on 8/19/25, I contacted my Insurance about this delay, and they advised me that they had mailed the payment/check to COMS on 8/11/25, and they then called COMS and were told that the check had been signed and cleared by COMS days before. I contacted COMS on 8/20/25 and told them that my Insurance informed me the check had been signed and cleared but not posted my VISA account. COMS had lied to me, saying the check had been "lost in the mail," when in fact, it had been signed and cleared but not credited to my account. They simply said "the corporate office has the check and after "processing," we will post it to your VISA,"... So what happened to the "LOST IN THE MAIL" excuse? Sure looks and sounds like they are holding/keeping insurance money until someone like me calls them on it. Regardless the reason, these delays and lies clearly show this is a business that is not trustworthy.

Fantastic experience: My experience having a tori removed two weeks ago unfolded seamlessly from initial consult to sorting out the billing and into the actual procedure. I was given IV sedation and felt zero pain. Afterward, I followed the instructions given to me and I found recovery to be very easy, just a little awkward is all. Thanks, Dr. Pansegrau for doing such an excellent job.

Negative experience: RUN FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!! These people are BUTCHERS. They do not take proper care of pain or pain management, they WILL harm you and do shotty work that will get infected. They have no on call dentist for the weekend, the phone will ring and ring and eventually hang up on you. I am sitting in the emergency room right now because of the negligence of this practice and the possibility of a very serious infection completely due to how I was treated for a very standard tooth removal. This place should be shut down. DO NOT COME HERE

Fantastic experience: My 13 year old had all four wisdom teeth removed this week by Dr. Strasia. His entire staff was amazing with my kiddo and us. He explained things very well and helped us all feel comfortable with the process. We are on day 3 of healing and things are going well.

Fantastic experience: I needed to have multiple procedures done here. I thought every one of them would be a painful recovery. Not only was the recovery relatively pain free, but so was the procedure for the most part. My doctor was excellent. I can't say enough nice things.

Fantastic experience: Due to a dental emergency, I needed an appointment as soon as possible. They quickly contacted me following the referral from my dentist. I received immediate attention. The entire process, from the initial phone call to being seated in the chair, took a mere 35 minutes. I was impressed by the exceptional kindness and support from the staff, who clearly understood my discomfort. I am deeply grateful to everyone who provided me with outstanding care during this extremely painful toothache.

Fantastic experience: Had 2 implants & grinding down of lower jaw bone. Very painful, but I could not ask for better treatment or follow-up. Check in is a little ridiculous but everything else is the best of the best.!!!!!!

Negative experience: Wow. Dr. S was rude, and the assistants were so shady. I don’t know how people rate this place but goodness the communication from the doctor and assistants were so poor. It’s unreal. It was a nightmare visiting this place. I do not wish to go back. The receptionist was very welcoming though. But the Dr S was poor and shady. I wouldn’t trust going back.

Positive experience: Surgical team was great and I’m healing up well and I couldn’t be more thankful for how amazing they were. However, the receptionist that checked me in was extremely rude. I arrived 10 minutes early for my appointment and she sat there typing on her computer instead of checking me in. Between the chewing gum and rolling eyes, I was getting very annoyed very quickly after arriving. When she began checking me in, she was pushing for me to give consent to an individual to see my medical record. After continuously telling her no, she continued to push. I don’t like raising my voice at people, but I felt that sense of Jessica decided that she wanted to give her two cents on who I let’s see my medical records. I felt it was necessary. Amazing place and I would highly recommend their surgeons, but that receptionist should get written up.

Fantastic experience: I had a tooth extraction here this past Monday, and I can confidently say this is the best dental experience I’ve ever had. I've been to many dentists before due to ongoing dental issues, but this place truly stands out. Everyone here is incredibly kind and professional. Dr. Dyer was my dentist, and both he and the nurses, assistants treated me with such care and respect. Celeste also helped me plan the next steps of my treatment, and she was incredibly kind and attentive. Now, five days after the surgery, I haven’t experienced any pain at all—I didn’t even need to take pain medication. That’s a testament to how skilled and attentive the team is. Fantastic experience: My name is Barbara Peterson, aka Barb Cheron. This was my second visit to the Center for Oral Maxillofacial Surgery and Dental Implants. I was literally blown away by the excellent care I received by Dr. Dyer, Tricia and Jessica! I'm a very nervous patient with a history of childhood dental trauma. They were extremely compassionate to my needs to keep me comfortable and calm. I can't say enough good things about this team, and the overall experience.

Fantastic experience: I saw Dr dyer and I can’t tell you enough on how great he was. He explained everything so well and kept the experience calm and far from frightening. It’s crucial to have a personality like his for anyone who’s afraid of dental work. He’s GREAT!!! His dental assistant (dark short hair) was also great!!! Fantastic experience: I was referred to this office for a full mouth extraction. I never had any type of surgery so you can imagine my anxiety was going through the roof! The staff was very welcoming. Celeste is very kind and offered support even if it was just a phone call to check in or to ask questions before & after my surgery. TJ A Dyer was my oral surgeon and he was great! Kudos to him and his team for making me feel veryyy safe with comforting words.

Fantastic experience: Yesterday I had #19 wisdom tooth extracted by Dr Pansegrau and it was, as always, an extremely professional and easy experience. Dr Pansegrau has done other implant procedures for me so I knew I was in good hands again. Having an experienced professional like Dr Pansegrau makes all the difference in the world - I know this from experiences before I was recommended to him and his clinic. The Center for Oral Maxillofacial Surgery and Dental Implants are all highly professional staff. Cannot recommend them enough.

Positive experience: Taylor was the first person I spoke with and she was extremely rude and unwelcoming. I had to have an emergent tooth extracted due to it being injured and there was no fix to it. It was extremely painful. I was referred directly from Capital Endodontics. The DR that extracted my tooth and everyone else I encounters was great!! Remember first impressions are the most important for a business.

Negative experience: Person on the phone was not helpful. Was condescending about my referral. Quickly brushed over my insurance not being accepted by them and tried to schedule an appointment with me anyways. Other reviews mention the same thing. Can’t speak on the in person care though.

Fantastic experience: I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed recently, and I have to say it was a wonderful experience. I felt very uneasy and scared but it went smoother than I could’ve ever imagined. I didn’t even have to go for a consult, I just went straight in for the surgery. The facility was VERY clean (both in the lobby and back in the procedure rooms) which truly impressed me. The staff were confident and ready to go as soon as I arrived. Every single team member I interacted with was very efficient and kind. Dr.Kramer was so knowledgeable and had a great attitude. I’m usually scared of any male doctors but immediately felt comfortable with him. I loved how hands on he was right before the procedure, assisting the technicians and assistants with the set up. The entire procedure lasted about 45 minutes and I think I was in the building for just over an hour. My recovery instructions were very clear, and they even called soon after to check in with me. The prescriptions were sent to my pharmacy immediately so I was able to pick them up on the way home. The only issue I had was with scheduling, as I happened to get a new staff member when I initially called who didn’t know how to work the scheduling system so was unable to schedule my appointment during that phone call. When I called back, they said that staff member was handling my case so I couldn’t be scheduled by any other staff member, meaning I could only talk to that receptionist. This ended up being a LONG game of phone tag which was pretty frustrating and I almost went elsewhere. In the end, I am glad I didn’t as the in-office experience was superior. I would definitely recommend and go back for any future teeth removals. Side note: most of the staff were jaw droppingly gorgeous and super sweet women, and I love to see a successful women dominated business.

Negative experience: Phone calls from them are snide, talking down their nose to you if you ask questions about the costs before you schedule your appointments. The first person lied that I could not get the information she was telling me in writing instead. The second time we spoke, the employee provided the care and understanding you'd get from a rush-hour driver on the beltline who just cut you off and brake-checked you for no apparent reason.

Fantastic experience: I had 4 wisdom teeth pulled out by Dr.Rhys Strasia today. I was beyond impressed with my experience! I have really terrible dental fear and anxiety, and as a result had put off getting my wisdom teeth removed for a long time (I am 39 ) Everyone in the office from the girls at the front desk to the nurses and Dr.Strasia himself were friendly, accommodating and very professional. I had scheduled a consult prior to the procedure to talk to Dr.Strasia about the experience and my concerns. He has one of the best “bedside manners” I have encountered for a physician- and I work with a lot of them as a nurse ;) His friendly demeanor, confidence & professionalism put me at ease; I knew I would be in good hands. I literally never give reviews- but I would give 10 stars if I could. I also received a courtesy follow up call a few hours later to see how I was doing and to go over everything again- much appreciated and not expected! If you have any dental fears, I highly recommend this practice and Dr. Strasia! Thank you so much :)

Came in for the extractions of my wisdom teeth and the dental assistants/staff were very welcoming and made me feel very extremely comfortable. As for the recovery phase, it was so smooth and speedy! Can’t brag about my whole experience enough!

Fantastic experience: This place is fantastic. I came in to get all 4 wisdom teeth removed and let me say THIS PLACE ROCKS! The team was very clear with directions and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. I felt extremely safe the WHOLE time even while being under. The doctor had awncered all my questions before i even asked him. I had no added scrapes or bruises or any gross feelings at all. 10/10

Fantastic experience: I am a dentist myself and I got my wisdom teeth removed from Dr Pansegrau. I don’t even think it took him even 5 minutes to get both my lower wisdom teeth out. I had a very pleasant experience and that is the reason why I have even been referring my difficult extraction cases because I am confident that here my patients will be in good hands.

Fantastic experience: They were able to get me in for an emergency, same-day tooth extraction. They comforted my anxiety, numbed me up, and got the sucker out in five minutes. Thanks to the staff for the prompt treatment and comforting words!

Negative experience: They refuse to work out a payment plan for my sons wisdom teeth extraction. I explained that we were on a high deductible medical plan with fund limits in our health savings account and some pretty large expenditures. They required that we pay our full deductible of $3200 up front. EOB came in at $2800. They overcharged $400 and now I get to plea and beg for a refund of the overage.

Fantastic experience: From Jessica and Taylor at the front desk to Dr Dyer and his assistant, I received excellent care. I had a tooth extraction with bone graft and suture closure. It went so quickly and with minimal pain. I have had no swelling or any pain at 24 hours post procedure! So amazing! I will choose them again for any oral surgery needs.

Fantastic experience: I saw Dr. Dyer at the East side location for a tooth extraction. The service I received from him, hygienist Brittany, and the clerical staff was excellent. Dr. Dyer explained everything he was going to do and what I could expect to see, hear, and feel every step of the way. He was caring about my pain management and administered more local anesthesia each time I expressed pain concerns and needed it. He also helped me focus on deep breathing during the most intense part of the procedure. I have never had a provider use mindfulness techniques with me before, and I really appreciated it. 5 stars!

Fantastic experience: Everyone was friendly and answered all my questions. Dr. T J Dyer had my tooth out in 15 minutes at the most including the numbing. His assistant was also informative snd friendly. Two hours later no pain no swelling and no gauze needed. I highly recommend Dr. Dyer and the entire staff. .

Fantastic experience: I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth extracted here yesterday. The procedure itself went very well, even on day 2 I haven’t needed any pain management meds, it’s just a little discomfort in the jaw and while swallowing. The surgeon did a great job explaining the process when I had questions going into the procedure (I hadn’t had an initial consult) so it was very easing. I was oddly more at ease driving to, and entering the building for the operation because I felt as though things were going to be just fine. I was put under anesthetic for the procedure, which essentially was me going to sleep, and seemingly waking up a few minutes later totally relaxed. Overall great experience, majority of the staff was in tune, and very kind. There was certainly one staff member that didn’t seem too thrilled to be there, but I don’t feel that detracted from the overall experience, or the success of the procedure, thus warranting a 5-star review. Thanks guys!

Fantastic experience: From the check in through the procedure the staff is absolutely amazing. The technician Jessica ( I did not learn the name of the second technician ) and Dr. Goldberg explained every step and every sound I would hear during the procedure. I had two extractions on one side and implants installed on the other side. They made sure I was comfortable as possible. Extremely professional yet very friendly. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: They did a great job of extracting my son's wisdom teeth and extracting an infected molar where I had a prior root canal. Also promptly assessed my jaw to schedule implant after determining I don't need a bone graft. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I had a wisdom tooth taken by a young doctor that look like doogie houser but he was great and a young twin lady assistant that made my experience memorable because she took mine off the experience to make it more comfortable. I recommend this dentist and team.

About 30 seconds into the procedure, the doctor told me the tooth was out. I couldn't believe it! Didn't feel a thing, no discomfort at all. I highly recommend this professional clinic. Fantastic experience: TJ Dyer did a tooth extraction. He was AMAZING. He was very informative and communicated with me throughout the procedure. I’m so happy I came here. I didn’t feel any pain! The receptionist Jessica was amazing as well. I had last minute paperwork that I needed filled out and faxed to my job. TJ did it before my appointment and she faxed it over right away. They have an amazing team!!!! 10/10!!!!!

Fantastic experience: I had a root and another tooth extracted today by Dr. Strasia. He did an awesome job and was very quick. I had this done with a local and I was completely relaxed with no pain. He explained everything throughly. When I was in pain over the last weekend medication was prescribed to help w the pain. I am very pleased and highly recommend Dr. Strasia and assistants who are very carring.

Fantastic experience: By luck or by skill I was able to get an appointment within 24 hours to have a broken tooth removed. From scheduling to post procedure everything was easy. The staff was very friendly and helpful, they made sure I was well informed and comfortable. It was a great experience and I highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: Dr Pansegrau & staff did a great job with my molar extraction. No pain at all. He explained everything very well. Negative experience: I called a week ago about a tooth that needed to be removed, requested an appointment, and was told they needed to contact my dentist (although they already had the referral!). Was told they would call me back in a day or two to pin down my appointment. No call ever came, and after calling my own dentist four days later, l learned they had never been contacted. So I went to another service provider. After all, a painful tooth doesn't try to understand why this happened.

Fantastic experience: On Friday March 29, 2024 I had an upper tooth extraction the remains of when the lower part of the tooth broke away from it. Because the remaining part seemed so deeply embedded I was worried it could be a problem for the doctor. Hence the reason I preferred Dr. Scott Goldberg. Dr, Goldberg's bedside manner was stellar. The doctor was gentle and explained at each point what to expect and what he was doing. I was surprised the procedure was fast and easy. The bleeding lasted for a short period of time, I had no stitches, swelling or intense pain. Actually I took a Tylenol once later in the day and none after. Today is the third day and I am almost totally healed. I will certainly recommend Dr. Goldberg for future references.

Negative experience: Cancelled my apointment without me calling, didn't notify me that they cancelled my apointment. I drove an hour for the appointment and they said I cancelled although I have the call log that proves I did not. Recommend confirming before you go.

Fantastic experience: This was just an excellent experience all around. The reception staff, the surgeon and his assistants and the person taking payment. All questions were answered and with care, and so was the procedure done with expertise and confidently. I am a retired surgical nurse and was so impressed with the whole experience. It could not have been better.

Fantastic experience: I have nothing but good things to say! I was really surprised how fast and painless my experience was. I had 2 wisdom teeth removed. The doctor just used local anesthesia so the longest part was waiting for it to start working. The actual teeth pulling was like 30 seconds each. I barely spent 1 hour in the chair. I would 100% recommend this place to my family and friends!

Fantastic experience: I have a genuine fear of the dentist/ doctors. But I hands down had the best experience when I got a tooth pulled. Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable, and all around great people. I highly recommend this place and it's staff! Dr. Goldberg is to date the nicest dentist I have ever met. He told me the pros and cons of my options for implants and didn't make me feel pressured once. To summarize, THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! Thank you!
