Fantastic experience: Always very efficient, from check in to departure! Victoria is the best hygienist around! She has been caring for my kids for the past 15 years and they have always felt really comfortable and trust her. She cares for me and my entire family like we are her own family and we are so thankful for that!

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit with Dental Associates and Dr Schwitters after my dentist of 50+ years retired. I was very impressed with the entire experience. I was a little nervous but was quickly put as ease from the very start. Great front desk staff and Dr. Schwitters' assistant Skye was very friendly and assuring. Dr. Schwitters was great. Very personable and informative. He did a great job on fixing my dental issue and I love my new smile. I didn't think it would ever look that good. Glad I choose Dental Associates and Drm Schwitters.

Negative experience: My 7 year old daughter has been seen here for cleanings and to have dental work done. Dr. Kolker was her dentist. He, on multiple occasions, got visibly frustrated with her for being scared or crying while he has his hands in her mouth, to the point where he would stop what he was doing to guilt her and say “I’m not even doing anything, why are you crying?” “What’s wrong with you?” He was dismissive, anything but empathetic and seemed genuinely annoyed to have to be providing care to a scared (at this point traumatized) child. We are taking her care elsewhere because we are so beside ourselves with the overall service and attitude he gave off. This was not a one time occurrence. I’d recommend taking your young children anywhere but here. Hopefully she doesn’t fear the dentist for the rest of her life but with the experience we all had, I wouldn’t blame her. This dude should probably not take minor patients if he can’t handle it or show a little bit of empathy.

Negative experience: I have been here twice and both were terrible. They always want to up sell by telling me that I need deep cleaning and refuse to do general cleaning even I requested. Most insurance don’t cover deep cleaning and I’ll have to pay out of pocket for $1400. They always need 2 appointments: 1 for exam and 1 for cleaning, if they ever agree to do cleaning at all. They want to double charge my insurance. For other dental offices, you only need to come once, and they’ll do exam and cleaning for you, same day, no need to visit the second time, and your insurance is only billed once.

Fantastic experience: My appointment started on time and ended on time! My Hygenist did an excellent job in cleaning my teeth and taking x-rays. She pointed out areas of concern to the dentist and together they came up with a plan of action to correct my deficiencies . After this, the Hygenist showed me the x-ray of the old crown my former dentist had put in and was now deteriorating. The receptionist made my next appointment for me and later gave me a call and let me know the cost of the new crown. The entire staff was very efficient and friendly. My time in the military as a dental company executive officer leads me to believe that this atmosphere is above the norm. Great job!!

Fantastic experience: I was so happy to get into a Dentist having terrible tooth pain. Sun Prairie got me in within several hours. The people there welcoming. The Dentist and his assistant were wonderful. I hadn't been to a dentist in several years after a bad experience prior at another dental outfit. I had to have a tooth extraction. I was very pleased and will continue with these wonderful people. The dentist gave me a call the next day to see how I was doing. Never have I had a more caring staff in my 75 years. I am so grateful for them.

The dental hygienist assistance name was Karen and she took excellent care of me. She asked what my concerns were and she took her time out to explain to me What would be best for my situation. This is hands-down, the best dental office.

Fantastic experience: All the staff here are careful to explain everything to best of their abilities, available knowledge. Dr. Chad Schwitters has been my D.D.S. for years and years, since my visits to his previous location at Walbridge court. He knew the D.D.S. whom is retired some time now, I'll just refer to him as Dr. Dan. Dr. Dan installed several Au amalgam crowns over about a 10 -15 yr. period. Problems with those teeth have been non-existent since first Au crown install back in mid 1990's. Mentioning Dr. Dan- a great experience all around- in connection with Dr. Chad Schwitters is of utmost importance to this review, for ONE reason alone. Dr. Dan was a 10* out of 5*- in other words, a superhuman or otherwise celestial experience. The pain relief transitioning to dental surety and reassurance over a 20 yr. period sequed into a transition from one GREAT dental caregiver (team) to another. Dr. Dan recommended Dr. Chad Schwitters with a warm smile, and Dr. Chad Schwitters also knows Dr. Dan and commented that the Au crowns "look nice," which is the greatest endorsement a professional can bestow upon one of their colleagues. This review is getting a bit long in the tooth- sorry, I've liked that expression since the 1970's when I first heard it on a celebrity roast/Dean Martin Show. Wrapping it all up in a nice box with ribbons and bows (kudos) to all concerned at DHA all these decades: the reception area, financial advisers, dentist and hygienists are all very kind, receptive, listening AND attentive (not really the same, are they?), and most important, highly skilled and relaxed in their professionalism. They KNOW best, and in their tranquil and receptive manner, imbue within their patients (me) the sense that you're in good hands, sharing and caring, and you can just relax in the knowledge that all will work out as well as is conceivable in today's high tech dental detection, prophylaxis, and subsequent follow up.

Fantastic experience: I had my first visit at the American Center Clinic and the minute i walked through the doors, staff and Dr. Schwitters were so welcoming! I have a huge fear of the dentist and Dr. Schwitters treated me with so much compassion and understanding! We came up with a treatment plan and I am actually looking forward to receiving dental care and working with him and the team! I was also impressed with how clean the clinic was! If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Thank you Dr. Schwitters and team for a great visit!!!

Fantastic experience: Everything was great! The front desk was very helpful and worked with me to make sure I had everything in as a new patient. My 3 kids and I were able to get appointments around the same time so we only had to do one visit for the 4 of us. I would definitely recommend this dental clinic.

Positive experience: Not a good experience this visit. It was messy. Water flowed down my jaw. Needed extra napkins to hold water. Otherwise excellent clinic. I have attended this clinic for up to one and half decades, very nice one.

Negative experience: 2 stars for me I was referred by my dentist which is great I will continue going there. The orthodontist side failed all due to Stephanie Olivas. The start was great, front desk people were very helpful and kind. I didn’t wait very long till I got brought back to go over Financial options, was told and shown all about the options, so I went through with the next step. Got my next appointment (scans) done then proceeded to be told that I have to set my next appointment up with in two weeks which I would owe roughly $1600 to start. Pricing was never the issue here it was the fact that I was never told that once I was to start and get my scans done that I would have 2 weeks to start the process. Once I expressed that I can’t do it in 2 weeks Stephanie’s attitude changed she was very rude with her condescending Demeanor. I was then told that they typically have 2 weeks to start the next step or they would have to do the scans again, which cost roughly $200. When my wife called to clarify what the expectations were from the initial appointment and explain that she was not satisfied with the initial explanation since they’re basically telling us we have to spend around $1800 in a span of 2 weeks, Stephanie was very condescending then as well. I would not recommend this place at all, personally she gave me sneaky sales tactic vibes. Seems as if she was just trying to get me financially bound to the contract. I did a consult with a different ortho office and they verified what I was feeling as far as this office just trying to get me in as soon as possible to get their money. I will say the pricing was overall comparable to other competitors payment options were not great.

Fantastic experience: First time at this location, and I waited less than a week for an appointment. Beautiful office with ample, easy parking. Front office staff was efficient and extremely patient with clients. My hygienist was exceptional. Her office was warm and welcoming. She explained everything and was thorough, but receptive to my tolerance and sensitivity. Dr. S was very down to earth and gentle, which was important to me. He communicated effectively and made me feel relaxed. All around a great experience.

Negative experience: I recieved a bill from the clinic for a company change that no one informed me of. It took talking to 5 people before someone could explain that it was a policy change with them and not my insurance. Not one person informed me of this change. It seems that no one is certain on this. They also use to cover it and can't tell me why they are charging now. No one discussed with me or if I even still need this service or if I have other options or how often I would be charged. Even after talking to the manager who seemed to just want me off the phone I am left frustrated and confused to the service and professionalism they showed me. I wasted a lot of my time and effort. They seem to only care about money.

Wendy and Dr. Scwitters took their time, didn’t rush things and told me everything that they were doing so nothing was a surprise. From the moment I checked in to the time I left, I felt so at ease. He explains everything beforehand and does not rush the process. His assistant, Ann, is very kind and made me feel very comfortable. Fantastic experience: Recently called for a dental emergency. Not only were they able to get a new patient in today, but they fixed the problem too! I’d seen a different dentist days before coming here and that clinic really scared me and was not suitable for anyone with any sort of nerves. Not here! They kindly explained answers to every question I had, made sure I understood what the plan was and agreed, and also took the extra time to make me feel comfortable and safe. The dentist pulled my wisdom tooth out before I even knew he had a real hold on it. It was fast, painless, and I felt secure the whole time. Highly recommend this place! I’m afraid of dental work and they put me at ease no problem. I’m so grateful for this team! Thank you Dental Health Associates of Sun Prairie! Fantastic experience: My wife and I have been using Dental Health Associates for many years now in their Fitchburg location, because we really liked our Dentist and his Hygienists. During the Covid Pandemic our Dentist retired, but we stayed for the Hygienists. Right after the pandemic one of our hygienists retired so we decided to try a Dental Health Associates location closer to our house in Sun Prairie, but stay within their family to keep access to our dental records. Today was our first visit to the American Center Facility and we were both very pleased with the results. Thank you.
