Negative experience: Showed up for my appointment a half hour early. No body said a word to me. Signed a paper and still no one even looked my way. Finally after the lady at the desk registered 3 people in that came in after me i walked up to the desk and told her id never been there and i was sure she needed to copy my insurance card thats when someone Finally acknowledged me. Come to find out my appointment was canceled with no notice. They rescheduled my appointment for over a month out.

Negative experience: Waited for 2 hours for a simple cleaning and check up. They said they are short staffed but there are people walking around doing nothing. Very unprofessional and did not inform us on wait time. They saw patients that came in after us first. I will find another dentist.

Positive experience: The staff was very kind and accommodating during our visit. Although our appointment was unfortunately lost between the call center and their scheduling system, they were able to fit us in, which we truly appreciated. During the appointment, the X-ray machine was not functioning properly for my 5-year-old autistic son. The team did their best under the circumstances, and he handled it well. However, it required multiple technicians and a parent working together to try to get the small X-ray device to function. The technicians mentioned that this has been an ongoing issue and that they have requested a replacement. It does seem that a new machine—possibly due to a software issue—would greatly improve efficiency and reduce stress for both staff and families. Overall, we are grateful for the kindness and effort of the staff, and we hope the equipment concerns are addressed soon to better support their team and patients.

Negative experience: I wish I could give it a 0... ok so I started my dentures journey with this company back in January. Got all my teeth pulled and told this process including dentures should take 6 months tops. Cool. So they pulled teeth everything was fine with the old doctor, so fast forward to June when I came in and got temp teeth made that went well. Except I hadn't heard anything in 3 weeks pertaining to my dentures coming in so I called them and they said someone should of called me they were in. Cool they set me up and app for 11 days out, so that day comes I drive 1.5 hours to the office cus I live a waze away.... I get in they tell me my doctor is gone and they need to resubmit preauthorization, im annoyed I now wasted gas and the day to drive out when this could of been solved with a phone call. So now the next week comes I get a paper from Insurance that says it was approved July 29th, same day I was in there and I still haven heard back to set up app. So I call them I talk to some arab guy not in the office, he says front desk girls aren't available someone will call me. Cool. I have called every other day for the past 3 weeks and no one calls me back. This arab guy says hes gunna call them girls or that hes gunna email his supervisor, bt nothing comes out of it. This is crazy, idk how they r keeping business. I get it sometimes you are super busy bt a month of me calling up every other day should get me some type of results. At this point I think im gunna find another dentist.

Negative experience: Went to their place and it was closed, claimed to have an emergency, didn't call to tell me, went there a second time and told me my appointment was scheduled for something else, asked if I wanted an appointment at 7:30 am when the aren't even open

Negative experience: Tired of making appointments and then I show up and they are closed- highly unprofessional. I keep having to take days off and then they refuse to answer the phone calls. I showed up the second time and they stood in the office and stared at me and I was so confused

Negative experience: This is the worst place. I’ve been going here for over a year for ortho and every single time I come I have had to wait a hour plus past my appointment time. Absolutely ridiculous. I drive a hour and a half to sit for the same amount of time before being seen. If I were to be 15 minutes late for an appointment they would charge you and not see you. Make it make sense!

Negative experience: I wish I could rate this office with a ZERO. I had visited the office last year and had a root canal scheduled for months out. My appointment was scheduled for the beginning of April. A few days before the appointment I get an email reminding me of my appointment, but the time was incorrect stating the appointment was at 7 pm. Since I got the email on a Friday night I wasn’t able to call until Monday morning, which was the day of my appointment. I called to verify I had the correct time. I had gotten days off work, had saved up over $1,000 to pay for the root canal and had all my soft food prepped. Only to be told by their foreign third party company that my appointment had been canceled. The office clearly didn’t plan on telling me that they canceled my appointment for absolutely no reason. I was told someone from the office would call me to reschedule. A week later I recalled their appointment setter number and was told they can’t schedule root canals and they would give my number to the office manager. Well it has now been two months and no one answers my calls or texts. I now have to get my tooth removed since I was never given any help to get the tooth fixed from this office. So unprofessional and they need to get rid of the third party company as clearly they constantly have scheduling issues with it. I hope the companies ability to save a few extra dollars an hour on offshore employees is worth it considering their patients health and their company’s reputation is at risk. STAY AWAY FROM ACCESS DENTAL!

Negative experience: My mother went in to get new dentures, she did the initial x-ray and molding. She had a appointment set for the next mold impression, they canceled on her twice but finally got her in. She completed the last impression. When her teeth came in the nurse called and left a voicemail that her teeth where in, and to call to set next appointment to receive them I called and was directed to a call center. The person took my information and said the office would call us. I waited another week with no return call. I called again but routed to a call center again. A few days later I told my friend about the issues we had, she then told me they had closed the Chatam Road location and now would have to go to Bloomington, Il. We received no call or letter advising of this. My Mothers insurance had to make the payment for them, and she still has no teeth.

Negative experience: Dentist is very rude and rough on older patients. Cancellations are sent 30 minutes before their appointment. This office does not care about its patients. It’s incredible that places like this can continue to funnel money from people who need help the most. If I could leave a zero star rating, I would. A review is not even close to doing justice for the pain hurt and confusion this office has placed on my 63 year old mother. Owner replied to my review and did not reach out. There is lack of communication or this business just does not care. I will update this review soon as they actually reach out..

Negative experience: I have had my daughter as a patient there for the last two years. We enjoyed the office and staff until recently when they completely lost communication and scheduling has been a nightmare. Over the last three months I have scheduled appointments and when I and my daughter have shown up the office is completely closed and locked during normal business hours and no one from there has called to reschedule or let me know the office would be closed and I’ve had to call the phone line which is always someone not affiliated with the office at a different location and they make an appointment which has been at least a month out both times and still when we went today for her cleaning the office was closed and locked with the open sign on and nobody inside. When I called today I was told they are in between doctors and didn’t know if they could schedule my daughter at this time and a manager would contact me. Luckily we live close by but if others are traveling far distances and/or taking kids out of school just to be left at a locked door with no contact it’s bad business and incredibly unprofessional. It has now been a full week since this review went up and still nobody from the office has contacted me to explain and/or schedule a legitimate date for my daughter to be seen.

Negative experience: If I could give -10 I would. Was told they could do temporary dentures after removing my teeth, turns out they couldn’t. In FEBRUARY I signed up and got approved for the sunbit program for financing the day of fitting for temps before learning I couldn’t get them. Fast forward to now May I haven’t been able to contact anyone from the office to send a cancellation request to sunbit, I’ve called over 15 times and still no cancellation sent. Keep being told by the operators they leave a message for the office to call back and still haven’t. My credit is being ruined for something I don’t have and can’t reach anyone get it cancelled. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

Negative experience: This Dentist Destroyed My Smile and My Confidence – Proceed with Caution I came in with a small chip on one front tooth, expecting a simple cosmetic fix. Instead, without my informed consent or even a basic explanation, this dentist shaved down the enamel on multiple healthy teeth and applied composite across my entire mouth. I was never told what was being done, why, or what the long-term effects could be. I didn’t agree to a full-mouth reconstruction—I asked for a chip to be fixed. Six months later, the composite started falling off. Since then, my teeth have become brittle, soft, and rotten. Several have broken at the gum line, and my front teeth—once healthy—are now ruined. I’ve seen multiple dentists since then, and I’ve gone from being told I needed crowns to now being told my only option is full dentures. Because of this nightmare, I’ve quit my job. I’m deeply ashamed, I avoid social interactions, and I’ve even rescheduled medical appointments out of embarrassment. This experience has wrecked my confidence and my ability to live a normal life. What this dentist did was not only unprofessional—it was unethical. I never gave permission for what was done, and I never would have if I had known the consequences. Please think twice before trusting this practice with your smile or your health. You deserve to be informed, respected, and treated like a human being—not a paycheck.

Negative experience: I had a appointment today. I get there & the office is closed. No note on the door as an explanation as to why they're closed Or to even mention that the office is closed. I stood there for 15 minutes thinking well, maybe somebody may have had to use the restroom. Finally I call the number on the door and I am told that the doctor had an emergency. No big deal everybody has an emergency every now and then I get it. What I don't get is I did not receive a text or a phone call telling me that my appointmeit is canceled. I was quite upset for the inconvenience not only for the drive all the way there but, the fact that I do take care of an older gentleman which I had to cancel on today for my appointment. Bottom line, and I don't mean to be rude but, if you are going to be closed, please call or text your patients and place a note on the door. So we're not standing there watching employees running around without an explanation as to why the doors locked.

Negative experience: Terrible Janky place. They take forever to get things done and can’t keep up communication with you. I had to wait 2 months for a crown that they were supposed to call me about 2-3 weeks after my appointment. Very unprofessional!!! Don’t waste your time!! Rather drive 3hours to Chicago than deal with them!!!

Fantastic experience: Got my wisdom tooth removed unexpectedly! Lord knows I’m grateful for the dentist doctor who did the job. I was in too much pain before and no other dentist wanted to remove the tooth for years so I struggled with pain until a few days ago. I didn’t even have to get drugged which is great because I didn’t want to be high. Also, the staff was so nice to me. Thanks!

Negative experience: DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!... They have tried to fix my daughters FRONT tooth 3 times now and it is STILL messed up. I can't take her to a new dentist because insurance won't pay for it so now I have to save up $1500 for her to have a crown done. DO NOT GO HERE and DEFINITELY do not take your kids here!!!!
Negative experience: If I could go back and do it differently, I would never have gotten my child’s braces here. Every time we come here (every month)we have to wait over an hour to be seen. Today I was called and asked to come in 30 min early because of weather so I took off work early to come. Then I still had to wait 2 HOURS for my daughter to be seen! There are only 2 dates a month you can be seen for orthodontics and if you can’t make those you are screwed until next month. They use a call center so you can’t get directly through to the office when you call. The dental and orthodontic departments don’t talk to each other so we wasted an entire appointment thinking a tooth was going to get pulled before braces were put on but they wrote down the wrong tooth. They have televisions in the exam rooms playing terrible shows that are unsuitable for children. I’ve had to ask them to change it before. The people working there are nice for the most part but it is just such a waste of time to spend hours waiting for a brief adjustment monthly.
Negative experience: We have only had poor service and cannot get hold of staff to setup appointments. The staff have no experience for setting up appointments either. We arrived the last time for an Authodontics appointment and sat there forever and no one came to inform those waiting that we were not going to be seen. I cannot believe they are still open.
Negative experience: If I could give 0 stars, I would!! I established my children as new patients here back around July. Since then, we've been canceled on 3 times!! Twice for orthodontist taking over the office, and once for the dentist being out of country. Each time it's canceled, it's the day before the appt, when I've already requested off work WEEKS in advance. Once they cancled the NIGHT before, after closing, with a text, to notify me of the cancelation. Meanwhile, i tried to call multiple times before closing to double check the appt time. When explaining over the phone, I'm told that ortho doesn't have set days. It's sad that businesses like this expect a 24-48 hr cancelation courtesy, but can't do the same. I'm supposed to have a tooth pulled in Jan, and I'm not sure that I trust to even be able to. Not to mention, some of the staff walk around with their nose pointed in the air, like they don't even care to be at work. I called them back and told them to not call about future appts, etc, for my kids!
Fantastic experience: A lady that works their name Brittany was super super helpful in helping me figure out some financing options for me. I felt like she genuinely cared about me and how I felt when she took time out of her day to break everything down to me and explain everything. We need more people like her in this world. I was having a really bad day and just her being nice and helpful to me made a huge difference especially and how I feel about going to the dentist. ❣️

Negative experience: No good service at all. They wait until last minute to message you about changes to your appointment. We were already on our way to an appointment, which we live 2 hours away. About an hour before the appointment we get a message saying our appointment had been canceled. We called, they sent us to Corp office and told us they are only doing orthodontist appointments today.
Negative experience: My daughter and I came to an appointment today at this business to get my daughters tooth filled because she had a little cavity. Our appointment was 230, we got signed in at 220. The receptionist was pleasant and polite no issues with her. We get called back and sit down and the woman who was taking the x-ray asked me to move my purse off the floor and hang it up, I thought it was wierd but I did. Then she asked us why we were there we told her to fill my daughters tooth. She got an attitude and said we'll you're scheduled for a check up and that's already been done 2 months ago. I said when I called to schedule, I told them she had a cavity. How is it my fault what they scheduled? So she asked my daughter how does she know she has a cavity is she a dentist? My daughter, embarrassed, answered because I can feel it and see it. She said we'll it's probably just sensitivity, with a confrontational demeanor. She looked in my daughters mouth, without a lamp, then took the xray. This woman's behavior was so odd, she was singing, interrupting both me and my daughter when we were trying to explain her dental issues, and when she handed me the free dental care bag I said oh when I looked inside because I didn't know what it was, she said what do you mean oh?!? In a very confrontational manner. She took the x-ray and left. My daughter and I were already pretty unsettled by this woman's behavior. An hour goes by without anyone coming in we wanted to leave but waited anyway. Another 30 minutes passes and I told my daughter I think we should leave and never come back to this place, it's the most uncomfortable experience we've ever had at a dentist, right after I said that the dentist came in to greet us. He was very kind listened to what she said and agreed she had a cavity and told us he would be back to fix it. After he left the room the x-ray lady came back and said, what are you still doing here, we told her and she left. Next another woman came in along with the same woman who preformed the x-ray and handed Me a paper to sign, didn't say a word to me then the x-ray woman asked her if she was coming back with her, the lady that handed me the paper to sign irritatedly responded, no I have to do this first, she continued setting up the dental tools needed then turned around took the paper from me and they both walked away, not saying anything to me. I interpreted this as being unprofessional and slightly rude. The dentist came back and filled the tooth, he was kind and informative. Afterwards i requested a doctor's note and the dentist told me his nurse would take care of that.The nurse that helped him waved a peice of paper at me, I asked if I was supposed to follow her she said yes. We went to the front and the receptionist kindly handed us a doctor's note and we left. I have never been to a medical facility that treated thier patients this way. I could be more understanding if we were rude in anyway but we both were very kind to all of them and didn't complain to them one time.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming hear for approximately 1 year now. We live 150 miles away. And its definitely worth the drive. I usually bring my 2 year old grandson with me. And they are always so welcoming to him. This is probably the best dentist office I have ever been to. I have recommended to 2 other people that now go to this office

Positive experience: Everybody was extremely nice. Unfortunately for me there was a problem with the suction machine. Outside of that it was okay good experience. I don't like going to the grocery store with you I don't I don't I see you there now
Negative experience: Horrible horrible place . They are beyond rude . They do not care about when they get you in . Schedule you an appointment and lie saying they never had it in the system . They also told me I had only two cavities , and they didn’t even look in my mouth until I said the last dentist a year ago said I had seven of them . That’s when they decided to actually look and counted “7” . He then used the scrapper on my teeth and cracked on of my teeth that wasn’t cracked before and sent me on my way as if he didn’t . I go in for an appointment today to be told they would “look” at it then schedule me an appointment for a few months to fix it if there’s a problem . What sense does that make ? Especially if you cracked my tooth at my last appointment . The front desk lady is beyond rude & all in all does not care about you or why you’re there . They ruin your teeth just to make more money and then schedule you 6 months later to even work on you . Worst dentist in Springfield . I rather go to familia .

Fantastic experience: They have always been really good. I've had to have all my teeth pulled and I didn't feel anything when they were working on me. I had to set up appts for 6 of my kids and they are quick and efficient. We were back for 4 of the kids within ten mins of getting there and were done within 15mins. Fluoride and cleanings and everything. The other 2 kids went back as soon as 2 were done. We ended up getting done before the scheduled times all caught up. (Expected to be there until noon but got out at 10am). They are really good with the kids. My older 3 girls 11,9,7 all had fillings last year. However, my 7 yr old keeps getting more cavities so her and her 5yr brother had gotten referrals for pediatric due to lack anesthesia for smaller more timid patients. Not a big deal. They are thorough with their exams and cleanings so I know the referrals weren't just because. I actually recommend access dental to alot of people in my town because of the great and easy services they provide. It has truly been a blessing to find a dentist that cares about their patients and their comfort with seeing the dentist.

Fantastic experience: I had a fantastic experience at Access. I had a dental emergency today and got right in to Access. The staff are super friendly and very helpful. The Dentist was very kind, explained what could be done, offered a "a quick fix" until a permanent solution could be done. The staff got me scheduled for a follow-up appointment and I was on my way. Crisis diverted!!

Positive experience: I went Access Dental to have a couple of crowns looked at . They can help me. Where as the dental office in Champaign didn't have a dentist that could handel crowns. I'm happy they can help. Waiting on insurance to approve it.
Negative experience: Ortho receptionist called to confirm my appt that morning but then waited until we got thre to tell me they can't tighten my braces since I was past due loud as in front of everyone. I've been calling and they keep saying someone will Call me back and it's been over a month amd no one has called back. I still getting billed every month and havmt beem seen 2 months.

Fantastic experience: As a red head me and dentist usually don't get along, but I had a great experience here. I'm in the transition stage for new teeth. I had 8 teeth pulled yesterday. When I say the Dr. Took his time but had them all out in less than 10 mins altogether. With a Lil break in between. He was very good at explaining what was going to happen and made me feel comfortable. Which doesn't happen often for me and dentist. I appreciate the time he took to talk me thru each step.

Negative experience: Only went here because I am on Medicaid but I would rather pay out of pocket elsewhere. Every time I come here you gotta block out your entire day because who knows how long you will be waiting. They always claim you have a cavity, but you probably don't. A few years ago I went in for a standard cleaning and they said I had a cavity. Had no clue I had one there, but I gave them the ok to fill it. Then they shot me up (which by the way, they give the most PAINFUL novocaine shots ever here) and they started drilling and drilling and drilling... said "this is deeper than I thought" and then they stopped because they said I would need a crown and they want to check with my insurance first. So they put a sealant on there and had a hard time scraping it down to fit my bite properly, and finally I left even though my bite was still off. Woke up middle of the night from it breaking, and now I definitely have a cavity there that wasn't there before. Going somewhere else to fix it because I'm never going back - they ruin your teeth. They recently said my daughter has a cavity but then I took her to another dentist and he didn't see any cavities at all.

Fantastic experience: I recently needed a very tiny cavity filled. I hadn’t had a cavity in several years, since I was a teen! My anxiety started getting to me, but the staff was very friendly so I tried not to let it show. When they dentist gave me the shot, I was expecting the worst and I hardly felt it! Negative experience: First impressions are the best and they failed at that. Lady with the spider like lashes is the worst (terrible attitude, judgmental, and rude). Daughter’s appointment was for 11:30, didn’t get called back until 12:20. I don’t recommend this office.

Fantastic experience: I go here routinely for my 6 month check ups with my kiddos. Today I experienced going for the first time with my 1 year old, and 8 year old and I can honestly say it went well! My 8 year old has been going here since she was 2 and she did great as always. Now my 1 year old - this was her first time and they were slow and caring with her. The dentist had a trick to get her to open her mouth which he stated he does with his own kids! Love that. I also love that during my cleaning they let her lay on my chest and watch because that's what she wanted. They didn't make me move her or give dirty looks or stare. She watched the whole thing with curiosity which I feel will help her later when it comes time for her own cleanings.

Fantastic experience: I am very impressed with Access Dental. It is a clean, professional, and friendly environment. I got dentures from the location on Chatham Road in Springfield IL. The dentures fit perfectly and we're done in a timely fashion. Dr. Tad and his assistant Miss Gale did an excellent job and ensured they fit properly before I left. Negative experience: What a joke. I’ve been trying to get into the dentist for over a year now and each time they call and cancel. This time- a week before my appointment are calling to reschedule and can’t get me in until April. Customer service or whoever runs the desk and absolute mess. This shouldn’t happen 3 times in a row.

Negative experience: Calling three times back to back without leaving a message is ridiculous. Only aftrr the third time did I receive a text for an appointment I canceled months ago. I work nights and was woken up by the three calls back to back from a number that's not even listed on their site. One call with a voicemail, or even just a text, would have been plenty. Annoying.

Negative experience: Access dental = optimal dental. Had some teeth pulled got dentures. The dentist kept saying breath out of your nose as he was pulling my teeth. Took a long time to get dentures. Called my insurance company and talked to the person that approves it said access dental ( optimal dental ) never sent the paperwork across dental ( optimal dental) said it's not easy for them . That guy that pulled my teeth was vicious it was quick and almost pain free almost because he didn't numb the back tooth then tried telling me it was pressure not pain. I can't believe they actually let that guy work on kids teeth yikes

Negative experience: The hygienist and receptionist were great and patient with tiny toddlers but I’m really confused why the dentist is making us see a specialist for my three year olds cavity. Is it because my son has autism ? Why can’t they do it there? I’m also confused why they didn’t give him something to help him relax or sleep so they could properly clean their teeth that’s the whole reason I wanted a dentist to check their teeth. If I knew they were just going to try and clean which they didn’t get to do because they were scared I’d have just brushed like I normally do at home. Found out the dentist is in Chicago. This is ridiculous, they did this to me before too. They just send everyone up to Chicago. Why are y’all even in business if you can’t do anything other than cleaning?!

Fantastic experience: Access dental is amazing place to come and get your dental work done! Gail Marshall was very caring and compassionate, she was in sync with Dr. Tad she knew exactly what the doctor need before he ask for it . It made the process of get my bridge work done a lot easier knowing that I was in the hands of great professionals.
Positive experience: I like the work done by Dr. Tad on my fillings and root canal. And I would like to visit again for regular cleanings and check up. But these days whenever I am calling for an appointment, they say that the next available spot for any service is 6 months
Negative experience: This place was seriously a joke. I was there for 3 hours for an exam and what they call a “cleaning.” I didn’t even realize the cleaning had been done. And then I was told to return to my “primary dentist” to get a cavity filled because they are scheduled 6 months out. The whole reason I came here in the first place was because I had to for insurance purposes. If you can avoid this place, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Tad was amazing and squeezed me in last minute, when i was having extreme tooth pain. Very friendly staff his D.A. melana was great very friendly and helpful. From the front desk to the back office the staff was very polite and curtious. This office was a total lIfe saver. I Would highly reccomend.
Negative experience: This was the most unprofessional dental visit I’ve had in my life. I’ve been to a lot of dentists and this was by far the worst. There were lots of red flags prior to my first visit but I was looking forward to getting my teeth cleaned for the first time within the past couple years, and having the most Unpreferred insurance at the time (medicaid) I lowered my standards and hoped for the best. First off, they cancelled our (2) appointments because we did not confirm them. They (receptionist) never sent any kind of reminder, text or call to confirm the appointments. After we rescheduled, we asked for the address as it was unclear where exactly this specific place was. That was yesterday, and after hanging up they never text the address, and when you call their phone number it goes straight to voicemail and sounds like they say ‘excess dentral’ ok, so that was all before I walk through the door for the first time. This morning, I go in, ask if I have an appointment here today (to verify since no one had called us back to confirm the address) and I’m told by this half asleep receptionist that yes I do. As I sit to fill out paperwork I notice the crooked tv mounted on the wall and the other receptionist speaking loudly and laughing. After about 15 minutes I’m brought back to a patient room and X-rays of my mouth are taken, and the tv is turned on to some childrens movie. After that, I sat in the chair waiting for the doctor ‘tad’ and after about an hour of waiting I start thinking They’re probably planning on me watching this entire movie before coming to talk to me again. During this waiting time, employees walk back and forth down the hall and say nothing to me, no reassurance, no apology for waiting, nothing. Then, finally doctor tad comes in and an assistant who never introduced herself, asks me to put my own sunglasses on to shield my eyes from mouth spray. I was never offered any kind of bib or shirt cover to keep myself from getting drenched in mouth spray and that’s exactly what happened. Ontop of getting water/plaque sprayed all over my shirt it was dripping on my face, neck and arms. When I said something about it they said they didn’t have any bibs left (my appointment was the 2nd appointment today) and they put one single paper towel below my chin which did basically nothing. The teeth polishing was halfassed like the rest of the appointment and I left as quickly as possible. Im glad I went first out of all my family because I’m definitely not letting my family come here for dental work. Be careful which reviews you read on here because I’d bet they’re artificially made for good reviews. This place was horrible.
Negative experience: Had an appointment scheduled (over 4 months ago) for this Saturday( August 13th). They call me today(Thursday the 11th) to tell me the appointment is canceled and needs to be rescheduled. I waited months for a Saturday appt because I work m-f daytime and don't have any pto. Also told no Saturdays available til further notice. Woman I talked to gave the usual I'm sorry sir with no empathy what so ever. Very unprofessional to say the least. If this is how they care about their clients then I want nothing to do with the place. I don't give my money to companys that treat people like this.
Fantastic experience: I took my daughter to access dental to have her front tooth fixed and she is very scared of doctors and dentist but dr tad and his assistant melana are so wonderful!! They talked her nerves down and talked her through the whole process! They are amazing!!
Fantastic experience: Optim Dental is now ACCESS DENTAL. The sign has changed outside their building but the team is the same. Dr. Tadakamalla is an amazing doctor whose care and attention for patients is unyielding. He is the only doctor there at this time and does well to accommodate as many people as possible, including some emergency visits. The staff are knowledgeable, professional, well mannered and work well together. I have selected Dr. Tad (for short) as the best Dentist for myself and my family. PLUS, they accept medicaid and most other insurances.
Negative experience: Waste of time. Staff was very friendly and nice though. If your kids have large cavity/ cavities, the dentist will not do nothing about it and refer you elsewhere. I had a note stating the problem of my child's tooth from a different dentist saying he has a large cavity and needed a baby root canal. If you don't work on younger kids with large cavities that should be stated before the appointment so time isn't wasted.
Fantastic experience: Amy & the Dr are amazing! They go above and beyond for their patients! Amy knew how scared I was before my appointment so she made sure she was there by my side every step of the way! Dr. Tad is so caring and very patient!!!

Fantastic experience: With only having one dentist in the building right now , he still managed to get me in within a couple days, made my appt showed up , got me back to the room in between patients he was able to come and numb my mouth for the extraction, took a matter of about 15 mins or so to get the tooth out did a great job , I would recommend! Plus if you don’t have insurance they still will get you in at a REASONABLE price !
Fantastic experience: Didn’t have an appointment, but Optim worked me in on a Saturday. Had to wait awhile, but was grateful to be seen. Saw Dr Tadakamalla and was impressed by his professionalism and compassion. I didn’t expect anything more that a stronger antibiotic than I had been taking, but I think I found my new dentist. Although I was already set up with an endo referral, he offered to set me up with a different endodontist to see me sooner. Overall, a great first impression and experience.
Fantastic experience: My children were knew patients at the office and the service was great! They were patient and very attentive with the kids which can be difficult at times. Everyone’s customer service was great from the front desk to the dental assistants
Fantastic experience: My whole left side of my mouth was hurting so bad and had already been to 2 other dentist after they told me they couldn’t pull it, optim dental was super amazing... they squeezed me into his super busy schedule and took care of my pain!!! I totally recommend them. I know I will be going back and bringing my daughter with me.

Negative experience: If you are behind for the day as a business and you have scheduled appointments for clients maybe your receptionist could call those clients and explain to them that it’s going to be longer wait time so the client can plan accordingly or even reschedule. I understand emergency procedures come up and other obligations have to be met when certain situations come up. But to wait outside in my car for almost an hour and consistently told several times that it will be another “10” minutes over and over again is absolutely ridiculous. Please learn and teach your colleagues to communicate better to your clients in regards to this. The only reason we are giving 2 stars and not 1 is because this has never been an issue in the past and typically had good visits. We will try again in the near future but if it happens again, we won’t be back.

The Dentist can't remember his name but he was very detailed oriented and professional. I drove 1 hour and 30 minutes to get the service that I needed. Driving to Optimum was a trip worth taking. Negative experience: Our appointment was at 3 and we arrived 10 minutes early but we didn’t get taken back to a room until about 3:30. But then we sat there until about 3:53 before they came in to clean my son's teeth. Took about 5 minutes to do the bite wings. Only took about 3 minutes to clean his teeth as all they could do is polish near the gums as he had braces on. Then we sat there for another 25 minutes before the doctor came in and spent a couple of minutes looking at his teeth. All in all it was an HOUR AND A HALF for about 10 minutes worth of exam and cleaning. The staff was nice enough but it was very irritating to take my son out of school early, to be there on time, only to have sit around for an hour and 20 minutes because of poor time management. If I would have showed up late they could have refused to see us but they can keep people sitting around with no consequences at all? Why isn’t there better time management here? They did the same thing with my other son too and expected him to keep waiting around on them when he told them he had to get to work after waiting on them for an hour. They should not over book and keep people waiting for longer than 10-15 minutes total during the whole appointment. Whoever is in charge of this office needs fired or sent to some sort of office management training!

Negative experience: Had the worst experience ever. My first appointment was 3 weeks ago. They made me wait in the waiting room for hour and half then went inside and waited to be seen for one hour. I had to tell the dentist assistant to change her gloves because she did not change them when I first came in and I watched her touching everything in room like pen bad and computer keyboard etc.. and then trying to do X-ray for me without even changing them. I came back today for filling. Waited one whole hour before going in. Then another half hour. The dentist finally came and gave me a numbing shot and said I’ll be back in 15 min, I waited one whole hour until I started feeling my tooth again, and he never showed up, even though I talked to his assistant but still he didn’t come and neither did his assistant. So, I left immediately. I won’t ever go back there. They are nice staff and dentists but they are not professional at all.
Fantastic experience: One of my tooth got broken and I was really scared about getting a treatment. I visited Optim dental for having a dental check up and Dr. Avadhani explained all possible options and suggested me to have a deep filling for broken tooth and scheduled an appointment. He numbed by tooth and I didn’t feel any pain while doing deep filling for that tooth. I trust them for my dental care.

Fantastic experience: Part 2 WHAT A POSITIVE AND PLEASANT EXPERIENCE AT OPTIM DENTAL ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Couldn't be more happy with this dental group. Professional, quality dentistry from beginning to end. Through explanations about dental issues were discussed by the Doctor as well as resolutions for treatment. Myself and two children felt relaxed and comfortable and had the best experience! A big Thank you the team at Optim Dental! Thus far, five STAR rating on Customer Service!! Had appointments for myself and two children. And the day before our scheduled appointments, I had to reschedule. The receptionist was understanding and courteous to my having to reschedule. Fantastic experience: Dr A. Was and Is amazing. He made sure I was comfortable at all times with extractions. I had 21/22 teeth extracted today. My pain level is manageable at the time. He gave great instructions. I’m really glad I took his advice and had my teeth extracted and got my dentures. Even though it seems extreme to me at first. It’s working. He made sure he took care of me while I still had insurance. His staff, most of them need training. They would wait for me to call, then the night before my appt and want to move it to another week away. I didn’t appreciate that. Personally I think there should be some one in the office that does only the schedule, checks insurance for 3 days in advance, checks with the labs to see if dentures are ready, reason I say this is because I would call to make sure everything was good to go, then that would do ALOT and cut back on calling and fixing the schedule. Etc.
