Fantastic experience: Friendly staff from the front to back. I felt very educated by Terry (I think that was her name,) and the tech that came out to talk to me and give me all the details of what could happen. I talked to an office manager who was super sweet and answered all the questions I had. When she couldn't answer them she got the answers from the Doctor and the tech that came out again and talked to me. They main thing I liked about my visit, that I didn't feel nervous like I did before I walked in. Everyone had a smile and made me feel welcomed. I even had a long talk with the office manager about football and she joked about how everyone hates her team, but that they were going all the way. And I am glad I multiple options to help with the treatment. I plan to be back once I can decided which route I want to take. 10/10

Positive experience: Went in for a repair on a chipped tooth on my denture. Was talked into buying a complete new set of dentures. The bottoms aren't going to work for me. I tried to open communication to begin a refund on the bottom piece while willing to keep the top and nobody has responded. I'll give it a couple more days before I come back here and adjust my star rating per my experience.

They explained everything they were doing and made sure I was comfortable. As well as Dr Periq and Martie!! Today Madelyn was my dental hygienist and she was very knowledgeable and super considerate!

Fantastic experience: Over all my experience at this Dental Office was great. The empathy, compassion and patience was beautifully extended to me in abundance. The Dr. which I do not remember his name, I wished I did. He was great and Marti, the Dental Tech, was very knowledgeable with all the questions that I asked her. Marti, greated me with a smile and smiled as I exited the exam room, she even walked me to the door. I'm happy that I chose Aspen Dental for my smile. ♥️

Today was my first visit here, I booked this appointment yesterday for today because my wisdom tooth was giving me grief… I had to bring my 2 yo with me since it was so last min. As a mom of young kids I don’t think you all know how great it was to be accommodated. They made us feel comfortable and made sure my girl was never too far in her stroller even during my X-rays. On top of all of this the Dr. was able to pull my wisdom tooth right then & there! I was expecting this to be a long drawn out process but I thank you for making it incredibly easy!!!

Fantastic experience: Staff was super nice. From the front staff to all the assistants and the dentist. Lots of smiles and very informative. The office manager was great walked me through the start to end of appointment making sure my concerns were taking care of. Can’t wait to have my smile back.

Fantastic experience: Me and my daughter had some dental work done at the North Dirksen location and everyone from the reception desk, techs, hygienist, dentist, and even the managers were all very pleasant and very helpful I would highly recommend to come visit the wonderful people and let them help you with any of your dental needs. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Negative experience: NEXT. Not ok. Scheduled an appointment and took time off to be there, on time. Showed up and they couldn’t “squeeze” me in. KieKei with the short purple hair at the front desk was argumentative and rude. There’s no other office who demands you give a verbal confirmation of your appointment prior to showing up. I also never received a notification that my appointment will be cancelled. Ive been here previously with no concerns. Talk to me like you have some professional sense and respect for other people. thank you. Just cancelled all family members appointments.

Negative experience: They didn’t call me back until half an hour after my appointment time when I was about to give up and leave. Idk if they understand that other people have jobs besides them. No apology or acknowledgement. Also my appointment was right when the opened so idk what took so long. I told them I already had x-rays done at my last dentist (I moved recently) and they acted super weird and said they couldn’t do a cleaning without them instead of offering any solutions. I left because insurance only pays for them once a year, and since I’m not coming back to a place that’s this inconsiderate of people’s time, the next place will want their own too.

Positive experience: The employees/staff are very nice people ! They explain everything that they are doing when they examining you ! They truly care for you as a person ! They are pricey though ! They do take time to talk with you so you get the best care ! I need a tooth pulled and I thought they were going to pull it the day I was there ! But they are having me come back , they said something about a Clarence from the doctor ! I wanted to just go that one day !

Positive experience: I am very satisfied with some of the outcomes of this visit. Everyone was so kind, especially with my woes. I haven't discussed the plans to remedy me yet, because I haven't heard back and had to leave due to the Time it was taking. But I'm eager to know more and hopeful I can get some results I never knew I could prior to this visit.

Fantastic experience: It’s not easy going in the chair at any dentist especially when you need 2 really bad teeth pulled right next to each other. I didn’t expect to get it all taken care of same day with exam but they were ready and willing and I must say the beautiful ladies working here are very professional and they talked me all the way thru it while I was extremely agitated and they finished the job. Very understanding and also confident in their task. I wanted to man-cry, I think I did a little bit but I was very happy when I left. Thanks again! You are all awesome there!

Negative experience: id give them 0 stars if i could i came in with mouth pain told me i had infections in my gums and 3 teeth and didnt even give me antibiotics to get rid of the infection so now im leaving there in pain still

Positive experience: We waited 55min with only 1 person in the back being helped and no one else waiting with a 6&8yr old with me but they were extremely nice to my kids the whole time no idea why it took forever tho when once we got back it took maybe 10min

Fantastic experience: This dentist is amazing. My son has high functioning autism and has never been able to do an entire dentist appt from start to finish. They took him in and explained everything, made it fun for him and he was able to do the entire appt. He was even excited about coming back for his sealants! My 13 year old needed a lot of fillings. This is the first time she's ever done the needles for numbing. They made it easy for her and on the way to our next appt she said "I'm ok with going to this dentist because they are really good!.....and they have good music." (Her last appointment they had 90's-00's music playing which she is a massive fan of!)

Negative experience: Worst customer service I’ve had in a long time. I had all my money ready to go. The lady was so rude on the phone. She wouldn’t listen to a word I was saying I kept Asking questions and she refused to answer one question not one question when I asked her if she was eating listening to the phone call she says I’m sorry what did you say? So it was an easy pass on this facility for me. If they’re treating people like this, just from a simple phone call, I would hate to see how they treat you after they get your money. Update: clearly you take no pride at all. If you took any pride in any of your customers, you would’ve reached out and made the effort to make it right and earned my business back, but you didn’t even do that. So I’m not seeing the pride that you’re talking about but then again I’m not surprised.

Fantastic experience: My experience was amazing. Every single staff member was professional, understanding and kind. I have a lot of anxiety related to dental procedures to the point I’ve neglected my teeth. The staff was so understanding and nonjudgmental. Negative experience: Had a cracked molar (impacted by wisdom tooth) pulled at Aspen Dental a week ago. Still some pain—ibuprofen, naproxen, and Tylenol help. Stitches fell out on their own after 4-5 days, which was nice. Numbing shots hurt. Extraction was brutal—5-10 minutes of pliers yanking and jerking my head, hurt like hell, bled a lot. Friend had same bad experience here years ago (traveling dentist, foot on chair, bad swelling/pain after). Maybe common, but I'd look elsewhere for extractions.

Fantastic experience: Broke a tooth out of denture was able to drop them off and returned in a hour They were fixed and they also rechecked my bit as it was off and that’s why the tooth broke. Very very pleased thank you

I had too many bad experiences with dentist and unfortunately i do have to have some denture work but I am more confident with aspen then anywhere else at this point. Fantastic experience: Dr. Phillips is one of the most professional dentist I have ever encountered. He explains the procedures and reassures you as a patient. His staff is friendly as well. I would recommend him to anyone…..update…although I did not get to see Dr. Phillips at my end process let me say Aspen Dental thank you for giving me back my smile! It was a journey but you all did a wonderful job!

Negative experience: No stars! Worst dentist next to the Medicaid ones here in Springfield. The receptionist acts like she’s demented, has no idea of the previous discussions about payments and plans that were supposed to have been made. Awful service, no empathy and just disrespectful all around. I do not recommend.

Positive experience: Received a phone call to arrive early if possible. I arrived 1/2 hour prior to appointment time and was seen by my appointment time. The only thing that I had an issue with was that I have dentures and they done x-rays but were unable to show me the x-rays or discuss them during the appointment. The amount for the denture repair including x-rays was $249 and the repair was completed withing the specified time. Happy with the repair but disappointed that I feel I was charged for x-rays that they were unable to view or discuss with me during the appointment. Left me questioning if they were actually done.

Negative experience: My experience was frustrating! I have been a patient here for over two years. The staff needs instructions on better patient care. I watched another patient be treated poorly in front of me, the way she spoke to him was degrading. I thought to myself it could have been me. Upon getting service I was left in pain from an abscess, I was told nothing could be done to help me unless I paid out pocket right then and there, not even a filling could be done. I felt pushed aside after I spent all the money I had that day. They didn’t do a thing to help me I end up going to another Dentist office where I was able to get the help I needed.

Fantastic experience: I've had an amazing experiences coming here!! Had a broken wisdom tooth that caused me so much pain, they had me in sooner than anyone else and pulled it that day. Everyone there is super kind, amazing customer service each time I've been in. Recommend this place 100%! They go above and beyond.

Negative experience: I do not believe all the high ratings unless people were over-medicated or disillusioned by Doc & staffs humor. Doc is not above par. Dental work -subpar. Humor & personable skills-above par. I do not recommend. He had an excuse for everything painful, expensive, excessive. Went somewhere else and had, better work, less pain and less expense. Does Doc still drive from STL area?

Fantastic experience: First off it was wonderful to be among such smiling, happy employees. Everyone was smiling and interactive with a team spirit. My only issue is that the rooms are so cold. I was, however given a blanket and that helped. I also had an issue that I fell backwards after slipping off a chair that was on rollers. I fell to the floor and now have Bad pain in my back.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful staff. Felt relaxed and comfortable. Explained current and future goals for my smile. Printed prices of procedures so I could reference anytime. I can get teeth cleaned and crowns/root canal all in the same place. Appointments available same week.

Fantastic experience: I'll admit I was surprised. It had been a while since I had dental insurance but I really missed having my teeth cleaned twice a year. I found out Aspen dental was in my network so I called and set up an appointment. When I came in I was treated so well from the front desk lady to the people that did my examination and my explanation for what I need it done and then I spoke to the finance lady and they made everything so easy and painless. I was able to get the work done on my teeth and they made sure I was able to finance the rest and monthly payments that I could afford. You can't ask for more than that!

Negative experience: Called in and ask for an appointment for my son. Told them the insurance we had over the phone. We went in and I filled out all necessary medical forms and took my insurance card first thing. We sat in the lobby and waited for 45 minutes just to be told they no longer are taking our insurance because they met their cap. How could they possibly not know they aren't taking our dental plan? It was a pure waste of time and we will never go back. That was piss poor customer service.

Fantastic experience: Very busy dentist, was able to squeeze me in and from what I witnessed they care very much for their patients. Had to wait a little bit that was fine as there are things that are out of our control when it comes to patients health I don’t mind waiting my turn.

Fantastic experience: The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. They made sure I was comfortable at all times. They helped me with financial assistance which really helped and gave me some peace of mind.

Negative experience: Not very happy , The doctor was nice , gave me everything step by step. Was told I could be put under because of my anxiety and when I got there for my extractions , they had removed it from my chart. So I had three tooth extractions under local anesthesia, not a huge deal even though I sweat and shook throughout the whole thing . The nurse that was helping my doctor had an earpod in that was so loud , I could hear her music. And it wasn't till after I had left the building and started driving my hour home, that I relized the Dr had sliced the inside of my cheek and didn't tell me ( it's a pretty good size gash about an inch long ) and also stitched the inside of my cheek to my gums , it has been so painful and I'm just not happy at all . I can't open my mouth very wide or else there would be a picture of what was done.

Fantastic experience: Went in for a check-up and treatment plan to take care of some deferred maintenance. Everyone was friendly and polite, the hygienist was incredibly gentle, the dentist didn't try to push unnecessary procedures. In terms of pricing, it's transparent and less than I had expected. There were also no surprises in the treatment plan that sometimes pop up with other practices. I think I'm quite happy to return to have all of my work done over the coming year.
