Dental Care on 4th & 4th

Negative experience: I had been a patient for 20+ years receiving excellent care from Witt & staff. Recently, I arrived for a cleaning appointment and was denied service by the manager of hygienists because I did not want x-rays. I told her I didn’t take x-rays but every 2 years. She proceeded to tell me that the previous management “was wrong” regarding timing and protocol of x-rays and said this in the presence of a staff member who has worked there as long as I have been a patient. That behavior is unwarranted and I can’t respect this new management that openly “throws colleagues under the bus.” Time to find a new dental provider now that Witt has retired.

Fantastic experience: I recently had dental work and a cleaning done and couldn’t be more pleased with my experience. Dr. Ammon was incredibly gentle and so understanding about my anxiety. He took the time to make sure I was comfortable every step of the way, and the procedure was completely painless. Grant, the dental assistant was excellent as well. In regards to the cleaning, I was truly impressed by the level of care and advanced technology Carly used throughout my appointment. The equipment and techniques felt modern and efficient, which made the entire experience smooth and comfortable. It’s clear this office stays current with the latest advancements in dental care. I would highly recommend Dr. Ammon, Grant and Carly for all your dental needs!

Positive experience: Long wait. Length of procedure was less than 5 minutes but we were at the office for over 2 hours. Too many people waiting. Scheduling may be a problem. Also not enough seats for everyone waiting.

Positive experience: Use Only Dr Brandimore or Dr Wilkerson. No other Dentists are trustworthy. It is now a corporate practice. The hygienists are very good.

Negative experience: Horrible office experience from the greating to the person responsible for insurance verifications. Can't say anything negative about Dr Ammons. Saw I'm for such a brief minute. Hygienist was ok. I have been in pain for 6 weeks. The only solution was never followed up, they forgot my file. Called repeatedly sen email left voice messages, nothing. I read the glowing reviews on line that was not my experience. They should be ashamed. But cannot even get a response after six weeks plus.

Negative experience: Used this office for over 10 years and have been very happy. My last visit not so much, they had a lot of changes. Full staff change for the prior 6 month visit. Gave me a new hygienist without notice. Every time the rinse water came I got wet (shirt and face). Cleaning took half the time it normally did and I walked out with a sore mouth and a tooth ache. Very disappointed.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of the practice since earlier this year. Dr. Brandimore is an excellent dentist and a great guy as well. He’s conservative and doesn’t recommend work which he does not feel necessary , and the work he did was done expertly and well. (Also be sure to talk to him about Yacht Rock Radio! ). I’ve seen my hygienist Carly twice now and she is also professional, personable and very thorough, and she checks in with me throughout the procedure. They employ imaging and diagnostic techniques I had not experienced previously. I have a bridge, and Carly’s attention to this area is great and she’s been very helpful to maintain everything in good working order.

That kind of honesty and patient-first mindset is invaluable, especially in an industry where over-treatment can sometimes be a concern. This became especially clear after my previous dentist told me I had several issues, despite never having had any dental problems beyond having my wisdom teeth removed when I was younger. I had considered going out of country but I was worried about the safety, quality and lack of regulation and not to mention the horror stories of people getting kidnapped and worse. I just left my smile consultation today and it was the most incredible experience. Fantastic experience: Been a patient here for awhile with another dentist who’s no longer there. This was my first experience with Doctor Brandimore. WOW! Not only did we immediately hit it off on a personal level, but he was able to save my tooth last dentist had, for reasons unknown, said would need to be extracted. I thought, on the way home, that I’m sure that I have never had as positive an experience with a Dentist! Bravo Must mention that assistant Tara was wonderful as well!

Fantastic experience: Don’t put up with mediocre dental care! Come here and experience the highest quality and care you’ll find. If your hygienist just scrapes and sucks for 30 min and then sends you on your way, you are likely not getting a proper cleaning. That’s what I was experiencing in other practices. I had been doing “cleanings” every 3 months. Taking care of my oral health. But I just didn’t feel like I was having quality care. I switched to Aesthetic and Integrative Dentistry knowing that while they are an hour away, I could trust them with my oral health. I have had the opportunity to witness the educational programs put on by DeWitt Wilkerson and know how respected he and his practice are among the national dental community. Aesthetic and Integrative Dentistry hygienists are highly trained and skilled in oral health. I became acutely aware of the lacking in my previous dental office when I had my first appointment with Aesthetic and Integrative Dentistry. At my first cleaning here… I KNEW I was getting a proper cleaning and that I had not been getting quality hygiene appointments in the previous year. There was tartar under the gums and that shouldn’t have been the case with my diligence and frequent hygiene appointments at my prior dental office. And it wasn’t necessarily “comfortable” , it felt rushed. At Aesthetic and Integrative Dentistry, my hygienist was thorough and I was comfortable. My dentist listened and when I told him about a condition I was aware of, he ordered additional Xray’s that showed a very serious and rare condition. He referred me to an oral surgeon (who is amazing!) and I have begun what will likely be over a year to treatment with at least two more surgeries before I’m done. I’ve had some really radical treatment and have things sutured in my mouth that are highly unusual and fairly uncomfortable. The irrigations I’ve been doing have caused a lot of inflamed tissues and in general my mouth is a serious work in progress. All the same, routine hygiene appointments are still necessary (maybe even more now than ever before.) Recently I came for my second cleaning in this practice and even with the complications involved with oral surgery post op care, there wasn’t the same tartar under the gums. She carefully and thoughtfully worked around the surgical site and drain after taking the time to hear what had been going on. I was afraid it would be too painful but honestly, when she found some sensitive areas, she took extra care. I had less then a little mild discomfort. I am more than happy and thankful to call myself a patient in this practice.
