Positive experience: After thankfully being reminded of my scheduled appointment, on 1/7/26, I went to Dental Dreams in Roxbury Ma., where I was greeted by the receptionist. I liked my hygienist as she had a sense of humor. She was also able to explain the procedures in my teeth cleaning adventure. My dentist was nice and professional. She checked all my teeth. I may be headed for a root canal. Ouch! But my options were fully explained to me. I have a choice to go to closer dentists. But as we know: " If it's not broken, don't fix it." No nightmares, just Dental Dreams. Ha.

Fantastic experience: Yesterday I had an accident I chipped my front tooth after getting it done multiple times at another dentist clinic. I automatically went on google and search for another nearby dentist. I came across DENTAL DREAMS OF ROXBURY. I usually wait about a year for an appointment within minimum I was able to get an appointment. The receptionist was very kind. When I arrived to my dentist appointment the next day I met with DR. Sherif. DR.Sherif was very kind and professional. I had an issue with my insurance but DR. Sherif rest assured I will get my tooth fixed. I was really comfortable the whole time. My tooth is now fixed thank you to DR. Sherif. I now can smile in my birthday pictures next week. I wish the whole Dental Dreams families to have a wonderful Holidays. Cassandra

Positive experience: Imma give it 4 stars. I'm just tired of going in businesses and they not hiring black Americans. Everything is either immigrant or white and it's so depressing knowing that I need income too to pay my bills and make a living, but, I don't fit the characteristics. So businesses like dental dreams not hiring for qualifications and definitely not hiring american black people they hiring selection is based off of characteristics. So yeah they nice but I know deep down inside they ready to call security on me if I have an issue with the office. I feel deep down inside that's when everything going to become a language barrier (I don't speak English type stuff). I can be the only person sitting in the wait area when deliveries come in and everybody speaking Spanish and laughing and I feel so like I'm in the twilight zone. Everybody understands when we talk in English they just forever pretending to not speak English. I'm almost 50 years old I'm too old to learn a different language too and really I shouldn't have too. So I'm giving this place a 4 star, they only smiling in my face because it's they job and since they monopolizing jobs I have to stay humble. What's happening to the free English classes? Anybody learning to speak English in America anymore? I'm I suppose to speak Spanish in America and when I go vacay in they home in do i speak English? There's no win for me. The natives not changing the language in they homes so why am I being pressed to change my language in my home. My culture is a culture to learn and respect too.

Fantastic experience: I tried dental dreams on a whim because they took my insurance and they have many appointments, even same day availability unlike many dental offices. My experience.. I went to the Roxbury location and it was incredibly easy to park, there is a lot across the street and plenty of street parking around the building. First off, the ladies at the front desk I found to be warm, friendly, inviting and exude teamwork as their priority. I was called promptly without a long wait. I was seen by the Sherriff, I believe it’s Dr. Sherriff but incredibly fun name. He was very sweet, knowledgeable and efficient! I was worried about my present dental condition, he really made me feel at ease and put a plan in action. I personally have had the same dentist for 20 years and I’m definitely making the switch. Thank you Demtal Dreams!

Negative experience: I previously gave 5 stars but after my third & now fourth visit I had to change my review. My third visit was for a fiiling & extraction. Well after my extraction I was given vague instructions on after care. I had to search on the web for what I can/ can't eat. Now this is my fourth visit, I arrived with my child(new patient) we were barely acknowledged upon arrival. The front desk staff continued to talk about their personal lives. I went up to them to ask if we were checked in & they responded yes but with an attitude & that the staff in the back would call us. I informed them that my child is a new patient. After a few minutes my child got called and that is when the front desk staff gave me paperwork to fill out for him. In my opinion that paperwork should have been given to me upon checking in but since they were so busy talking about their personal lives that seemed too difficult for them to do. I've worked in front desk and I have NEVER blantly IGNORED patients just to continue talking about personal stuff. Very UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Sherif is BEYOND anything you will ever see in a Dentist he was in a local Dental Dreams office near me and he moved to Boston at the Roxbury office . The dentist that took his place in the Raynham Ma. office was an absolute nightmare and told me he would not try to save my tooth and could not be done and Dr. Sherif said he would try AND IT WAS SAVED ( a front bottom tooth at that ) he drilled down a super narrow canal that one wrong move and the drill would perforate the tooth! attached is a pic of the xray ( its the tooth with the long drill line in it ) and popped in a fiber post. over 3 hours to save the tooth AMAZING PRO I TRIED to tip him a $100. for the hard above and beyond work but he REFUSED It but was grateful for the offer and explained that his reward is making a difference in someones life. Which he did for me big time .

Negative experience: This is the 2-3 time we’ve been there. I’m giving this two solely on my first experience but for today’s it would be 0 stars. First experience with the female dentist was great. My 5 year old bopping around and touching and all, she was great. Suggested we come back and do a sealant as she’s had her molars early. Today was a whoooole different experience. The male doctor (glasses maybe indian) was rude and made a comment about my daughters behavior (scared, crying, anxious and nervous mind you) after a mistake they made when they applied fluoride instead of the sealant which may I add she sat still with her mouth open (I also thought it was the sealant cause I had mentioned it not only on the phone when scheduling but when we arrived and also figured it was IN HER CHART SINCE THE DENTIST SUGGESTED IT). When I pointed out that we came for the sealant he stated “ok I’ll do it but she wasn’t cooperating and needs to sit still” I responded with “she’s five” in which he told me “I have 3 and 4 year olds in here all the time that sit still” I told him never mind and that we would not be back. I immediately asked to speak to a supervisor who seemed understanding but can’t imagine others haven’t had similar experiences. This is a pediatric dentist who is targeted for CHILDREN. I was appalled. You couldn’t pay me to bring my child back there. Another young man heard me speaking to the supervisor and followed me out and said “ Are you talking about the guy with the glasses? the doctor? Yeah he’s got a bad attitude in his rude.”

Negative experience: I had a very disappointing experience at this dental practice. My appointment was scheduled for 4:30 PM, and I arrived at 3:55 PM. Despite arriving early, I experienced a significant delay. I was told the delay was due to the need to verify my insurance since it was my first visit. While I understood the need for verification, I was still waiting at 5:00 PM. Eventually, I was informed that everything was set, but the wait continued. To my frustration, patients who arrived after me were seen before I was. Overall, the customer service was subpar, and I would not recommend this practice based on my experience.

Negative experience: I wouldn’t even bring my dog or cat to get their teeth cleaned here. I’ve been two times for a regular cleaning and I have no cavities no fillings perfect teeth they even complimented me and I have never received good service no flossing no cleaning or mouth examination. The water flosser machine they use gets water all over me she used it for 3 mins then that was it! I changed my insurance so I can go to Adam’s Family dental in Stoughton or Quincy for better service

Fantastic experience: I've been to dentist at least every 1-2 years. I have anxiety about the procedures but at mattapan square family dental, I was able to get all necessary work done with ease. "Dr. Trinkha" took very good care of me. She numbs you up before injecting a needle with novacaine...you don't even feel the needle. This is a good place that does good work by good people. Even her assistants are exceptional. There should be street parking near by but also parking lots for the city that's close.
