Fantastic experience: Where do I begin...I was in desperate need of a dentist due to excruciating pain from several issues with my teeth (many being cracked and decayed due to a rare condition I was born with). I reached out to Roseroot Dental back in November of 2025 after being highly recommended by my niece. Before I go on I want to state the following: it had been 9 years since I last saw a dentist. The reason being: one of my last experiences was horrifying (I had no insurance at the time so I took a chance with a local dentist in the neighborhood), where I was left in extreme pain and bleeding for days. As a result, I put off seeing a dentist until my teeth became really bad. So as you can imagine, I walked into Roseroot Dental with a ton of skepticism and fear. On my very first visit, the good Dr. Rooseroot himself performed not one but TWO root canals, an extraction, a deep cleaning and restored a horribly cracked tooth. I was in that office for 5hrs but when it was all said and done, I never felt more overjoyed...that is...until today. Flash forward 11 months later and I have a BEAUTIFUL set of teeth!!! I never thought I would be able to show a smile ever again, but now I can. Words cannot express the gratitude I have for Dr. Roseroot, Dr. Grisé, Dr. Yuliana and the entire staff! These folks are masters of their craft and it shows. I'm proof! From the very center of my heart: thank you, THANK YOU!!!

Fantastic experience: I was suffering from a badly infected tooth and Dr. Roseroot’s office was so kind to fit me in on Saturday. My tooth was in bad shape and unable to be saved so it needed to be removed! The kindness and compassionate care I received was so deeply appreciated!! It took two and a half hours to finally get it out because of complicated, painful nerve bundles! Dr.Thomas and Dr. Grise were amazing!! Dr. Grise helped to untangle the hot nerves and Dr. Thomas hung in there with me till she was finally able to get it out, it was exhausting!!! Thank you so very much for your compassion, kindness and laughter during this crisis I was experiencing! Bless you both!

Negative experience: This review is specifically about Dr. Grise, the in-house periodontist. If you’re a patient of Dr. Roseroot, be aware that you may unexpectedly encounter Dr. Grise during your appointment. During my cleaning appt, she came into the room for what seemed like a quick consult, chatting casually and asking non-dental related questions while looking at my teeth. What wasn’t made clear in the moment was that she was actually performing a separate exam and treatment that would later be billed. I went in for a standard cleaning covered by my insurance, so it was a surprise when I was asked to pay at the end of the visit. No one informed me beforehand that she would be performing a separate billable service from the cleaning I had gone in for. She has done this to my husband and me on 3 separate occasions. Each time it appeared to be a quick consult, only to find out we were charged for an exam and treatment that we never consented to. After the third time this happened, we decided it was time to leave the clinic. On a personal note, something that really rubbed me the wrong way was a comment she made to my husband. In a joking tone she said, “You need to come back so I can pay for my vacations.” What a strange thing to say to a patient- made me seriously question her ethics and practice patterns. Overall, the experience left us feeling uncomfortable and questioning the transparency of the practice. They do not follow Informed Consent laws and I'll be doing a little more discovery on this. Patients deserve clear communication about who is treating them, what is being done, and what they’re being charged for before anything happens.

Fantastic experience: Dr.Roseroot is hand down the best DMD! I got to my 4:40pm appointment 20min early and he was ready for me in seconds. I needed a filling and I'm the biggest wimp when it comes to any kind of dental work. He did not think I would need any Novacaine and he said let's just try without and I didn't need any because he and his wonderful Assistant were so gentle.

Negative experience: Liked the dental side, but would not recommend for orthodontics. After many delays in treatment, felt I was rushed to close after second refinements and now facing additional treatment and many cracked teeth about a year later due to bite issues not corrected.

Fantastic experience: I had an appointment with Dr. Juliana today, and I was thoroughly impressed with her work on my teeth. She was efficient, meticulous, and ensured that I experienced no discomfort during the procedure. I highly recommend visiting her for any dental needs.

Fantastic experience: This is a great place not only for dental services, but also for aesthetic treatments. I am a frequent client, I have done Botox, Lip Filler, Mezotherapy, bio revitalization and more, and I’m always happy with the results. The people working there are professionals and the atmosphere is always nice and welcoming.

Fantastic experience: After moving to Illinois and struggling to find a good dentist for ~5 years, I found Roseroot Dental sort of by chance. It was recommended that I find a periodontist due to a receding gum I have, and Dr. Grisé came highly recommended on ZocDoc. I made an appointment and quickly discovered that everyone at this office is amazing! Walking into the office, you are met with genuine warmth and care. Between the front desk team, hygienist Trisha, Dr. Grisé, and of course Dr. Roseroot, I feel completely at ease and taken care of. You can tell everyone on the team loves what they do - the attention to detail and tech innovations that they take advantage of are awesome. I had two wisdom teeth that needed to be removed after my first visit. I was super nervous as my previous “emergency” removal at another office was sort of traumatizing and painful. Dr. Grisé came up with a plan to calm my anxiety and put me at ease. She removed my wisdom teeth so quickly and gently, my pain was minimal and recovery was so smooth!! I am now getting ready for Invisalign and couldn’t be happier with the time taken to explain the process to me and make sure I will be good to go. Dr. Roseroot is such a nice guy and an awesome dentist! I highly recommend this office if you are looking for people who genuinely care and love what they do!

Fantastic experience: We were traveling from out-of-state when my wife experienced a sudden swelling in her gum. Both a dentist and a periodontist collaborated to diagnose and fix her problem on an emergency basis. The desk staff are competent and polite. We are so grateful that Roseroot was recommended to us. I'd like to switch to using Roseroot myself.... Is five and a half hours too far to drive for such a capable practice?

I have been going to Dr Roseroot for years now and he helped me to transform my damaged teeth and many cavaties into onlays/inlays/ crowns that beautifully blend in with my natural teeth and have a great shape and form. Not only Dr. Roseroot is great at what he does and the staff is friendly, the office has beautiful work of art on the walls and the overall atmosphere makes it pleasant to be there. The quality and attention of Dr Roseroot's work is what really makes him stand out from other dentists.

After leaving them a message and text months ago they completely disregarded it saying they never got anything. Very unsatisfied and will never recommend to anyone to go here.

Negative experience: Would not recommend this place. They push and push for additional services you don't need and force schedule appointments for you. They scheduled an appointment I didn't agree to, which they then billed me for. After that, with not one actual conversation with me, they proceeded to schedule a whole other appointment after that one. That's gotta be illegal right? Definitely shady. I'm sure they would have billed me for that extra appointment if I didn't cancel. I'd steer clear. The hygienist was nice, the front office staff and the actual dentist, not so much. You can tell they're just trying to upsell services and will bill and schedule you to no end.

Fantastic experience: It can be hard to find a good dentist. And Dr. Roser and his team are great ones. I’ve been going there for four or five years after four or five years of not going to a dentist at all. They helped me with an oral surgery, regular cleanings, better, cleaning habits, and ongoing care. If you’re wondering if you can trust the team, you absolutely can. They’re compassionate and non-shaming.

Fantastic experience: Early in 2023 I decided to get my whole mouth done with nice white veneers and they look amazing! I’ve received tons of compliments on how my teeth looked. Yuliana and DR.Roseroot worked very good together and put in a lot of hard work to give me a perfect smile! They are a perfect team together!! To compliment my perfect teeth I made an appointment with DR.Roseroot at the end of 2023 to get Botox and filler injections for my wrinkles cause my face was very weathered from working outside for many years. The outcome was fabulous I look younger and more refreshed, Yuliana and DR.Roseroot make an incredible team together with everything they do together. Yuliana’s eye for detail is amazing. His dentist saw the desperation in my eyes and slowly wiggled one out. We struggle with baby teeth at home so this was such a huge help! She was so kind and gentile and caring. He walked out of there happy with a goodie bag and no tears! Dr. Roseroot is a great person who will explain procedures slowly and clearly. We are very glad to have found this place.

Fantastic experience: I am so please with the dental cleanings here and especially with my Invisalign! Dr Roseroot was so attentive and skilled at the Invisalign process. I couldn’t be happier with the final result. I’m also so glad that I finally found a good dentist office that doesn’t try nickel and dime me over dental procedures that they say I need but I don’t.
