Fantastic experience: I finished my Invisalign treatment today and am satisfied. While Im sure many dentists providing this service have similar outcomes, none are a better value than Molis Dental. Prior to my treatment I had Dr. Molis treat a tooth that needed a crown. After the permanent crown was placed I had issues with sensitivity and pain. The staff got me in quickly and Doctor adjusted my bite. I felt better immediately. A couple of things I can say about Molis Dental. First, Ryan seems to do what it takes to make sure the patient is satisfied. When the crown was bothering me, he didnt seem irritated or aggravated. He just wanted to make sure I left comfortable. Also, as it related to the Invisalign, they were willing to keep going until I was happy. Second, the woman who is the lead receptionist is very sweet and a pleasure to work with. She provided clarity as far as billing was concerned. Ive attached before and after pictures. My bottom teeth were my primary issue. One last thing. I like that Molis Dental did not ask me to leave a review. I did this because I wanted to help inform others. A lot of companies will hound you to leave a review. That was not the case with Molis Dental.

I love that they send plenty of reminders before appointments, and the clinicians really take their time to go over your progress and answer any questions. The whole initial process was surprisingly quick, and they even try to combine services when they can, which I really appreciate since I have to drive in during rush hour. I was hesitant on pulling the trigger as it’s a pretty penny, but this is one of those “you get what you pay for” that is realistic based on Dr. Molis’ expertise and the professional treatment (just wish they also did bleaching at the location :) ). The difference (especially with my bottom teeth) is night and day. 5/5 stars.

Negative experience: I went to Dr. Molis because my front teeth were misaligned due to protruding canines, and I wanted to fix my smile to feel more confident. He recommended Invisalign, but before starting anything, he required me to pay $3,400 in cash upfront. I paid, he made the molds for my teeth, and at first everything seemed fine. I followed all his instructions carefully while I was abroad, and when I came back for a follow-up in February, I was shocked when he told me that the treatment did not work at all — not even 1% progress. His immediate response was to blame me for “not following instructions” (which I absolutely did) and then asked for another $1,000 to restart everything. What really disappointed me is that he came across as extremely money-driven and arrogant. He kept saying that no one leaves his office unhappy, but in my case, the result was the complete opposite. Despite his overconfidence, my treatment failed, and I was left with wasted money, wasted time, and zero results. If I could give zero stars, I would. Extremely disappointing experience.

Negative experience: Very diresespectful to my mom about previous work she had done. Business-oriented rather than patient/solution-oriented. Thinks that bc he's in Burr Ridge he can charge all his clients higher prices. Also, tells EVERYONE that they need Invisalign. Avoid.

Negative experience: I started the Invisalign treatment with Dr. Molis over a year ago but didn’t finish it because I wasn’t tolerating the aligners well. But I would like to share my terrible experience with this office, especially Dr. Molis, so other people can read it and hopefully decide to spend their time and money somewhere else. 1. Dr. Molis: I only saw him for 2 minutes during the initial consultation, most of this time he bragged about his success with Invisalign instead of focusing on patient care and treatment. I couldn’t believe that someone with such an arrogant and disrespectful behavior could be considered one of the top Invisalign providers. 2. Safety/Hygiene: this was the most concerning issue I had with this office. The first time I went in, I noticed that the mirror that the assistant used to look at my teeth was just sitting on the countertop instead of a tray. When I expressed my concern, the dental assistant said that they cleaned the desk with disinfectant wipes and that everything was sparkly clean. The second time, there was a dental mouth mirror just sitting on the countertop. I didn’t know if it was clean or dirty. Furthermore, when Dr. Molis stopped by to answer a question, he took off his dirty gloves and threw them from a distance, missing the countertop trash chute. The assistant then picked up the dirty gloves, threw them away, and continued working on my teeth without even changing her gloves. At that point, I didn’t say anything because I thought it was pointless. If that’s how they do things in front of a patient, who knows what is going on behind closed doors. 3. Privacy: I was able to hear the entire conversation in the next room. No privacy at all. 4. Refund: I wasted hours on the phone with Invisalign, explaining the issue I had with the aligners and waiting for a response on my refund. Although they were saying that the office should issue me a refund, Dr. Molis refused initially. In addition, Dr. Molis never offered to remove the Invisalign attachments after I decided to stop the treatment, instead, he kept insisting on trying a different method and starting the process all over again. After many persistent calls, he finally gave me a partial refund. Even if you find their price appealing, don’t waste your time and don’t spend even a dime at this office. Do yourself a favor and stay away from unprofessional and unsafe medical providers. Find a provider who will follow standard safety protocols, who will listen to you, and treat you with respect and dignity, even if it means paying more for the service. Update: I talked to Nina from Molis Dental the day after I wrote the initial review. They offered to give me a refund only if I sign a LEGAL document confirming that I will delete my initial review and I will not write any other reviews about their office in the future. Not even once during our conversation did they mention the issue above or said they are sorry about their behavior, they only cared about the review being removed. I guess this is their way of getting only 5-star reviews. Two weeks later, I still haven't received my refund, probably because I didn't agree to sign their LEGAL document. On top of that, they sent me a message stating that I have a balance due for the Invisalign treatment. I have never encountered such disrespectful behavior in the healthcare industry. Dr. Molis should be ashamed of how he treats his patients.

I was given very clear instructions that included home bleaching and now not only are they perfectly aligned, but during the button removal process he also evened out some other imperfections and I love my teeth so much I can’t stop admiring them in the mirror.
