Fantastic experience: First time here. The staff was very friendly and made my daughter’s first dentist visit a success. She was very comfortable throughout the appt.

Fantastic experience: Both my girls (ages 7 & 4) went for the first time and they loved it. Supper informative, made the girls feel comfortable and they came home supper excited to use their toothbrushes and their sand timer.

Fantastic experience: Excellent first dental experience for my son. Everyone was warm and welcoming and extremely understanding when he was less than cooperative. Looking forward to building a great association with the dentist at future appointments. Update July 2026- continue to love and recommend this practice. My son is now 4 and not always super excited or cooperative but the staff here is never deterred nor do they make us feel bad if we are having a hard day. Super accommodating, friendly and helpful-- we highly recommend Smiles & Co!

Fantastic experience: Amazing place, they’re so good with both my boys!

Negative experience: Very nasty. The dentist Mattern is very passive aggressive and just weirdly stares and makes you feel uncomfortable and the cleaner girl “litsey” was very rude. I could hear her in the hall laughing at my uncomfort at the dentist. Overall just not kid friendly and trick you into coming in by saying ins. Is accepted but then by some odd reason upon arrival now it’s an out of pocket charge. Unfriendly staff would not recommend. Especially if you have special needs kids.

Fantastic experience: We cannot say enough great things about Dr. Jess and her amazing staff! Brought our little one in and naturally was unsure - but the staff and Dr. Jess were incredibly patient, kind and made her first experience great! We didn’t do much that first visit but made an appointment to come back for a “happy visit” and got to just get more comfortable and familiar! My daughter loved watching Bluey on the ceiling while chatting and talking about her teeth! Fast forward to today and she walked into the office, climbed into the chair and had an entire exam with zero fear! I’m so glad to have found this compassionate practice - and yes, she also loves picking a prize at the end! :)

Fantastic experience: Today was our first visit, and we had a wonderful experience. First of all, the place is beautiful and very kid-friendly. My son loved it as soon as he walked in. We didn’t have to wait long at all.The dental assistant was awesome in every aspect. She kept my son engaged and calm the entire time. The cleaning process was actually fun for him! I also loved that they had a TV show playing to help distract him.The doctor was very friendly and informative, and the entire staff explained everything clearly throughout the visit. It was an excellent experience for both my son and us.They even gave him a little gift for his first visit, which was such a nice touch. We will definitely be recommending Smile & Co. to our friends!

Fantastic experience: Our family truly cannot say enough great things about this dentist! The space is beautiful, and everyone is so kind. My three year old daughter is very shy and never talks to people she doesn’t know-until today when she couldn’t stop talking at her appointment! My son has some sensory sensitivities in his mouth which makes parts of the cleaning hard for him. They are so patient and have so many ideas to try and truly care about him, not just doing what is needed to get everything done. Very highly recommend this practice!

They knocked it out of the park from walking in to Pac-Man, the Bluey sunglasses, option to watch TV during the cleaning and then the prize at the end. So happy to have gone here!

Fantastic experience: This place was truly wonderful! I want to share my experience starting from the moment I called the office to schedule an appointment. The receptionist was incredibly kind and offered exceptional customer service. She patiently explained the prices, verified my insurance, and was very transparent about any additional steps needed. She even provided CPT codes so I could confirm coverage with my insurance if I wanted that assurance. The office itself was charming, with nostalgic Pac-Man games built into the wall, which was perfect and engaging for my toddler. There was also a cozy photo corner that added a sweet touch. The environment was clean and welcoming. They offered a screen to keep children entertained during their procedures, and the parking was easy to access. The dental assistant was compassionate, patient, and truly skilled with kids. She was so gentle and kind. The dentist arrived just two minutes after the assistant finished, which I can definitely appreciate the appointment was quick but thorough. The dentist conducted a gentle exam, was very friendly, and offered thoughtful feedback and helpful suggestions. She even praised my son for having great teeth. They also gave us a cute care package with a balloon and a toy for my toddler, which was such a lovely touch. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. My son loved it too. Thank you all for providing such attentive and caring service to me and my little one.

Fantastic experience: This office is amazing. All of the staff are so polite and welcoming. My daughter initially started coming here because she needed to see a Pediatric Dentist due to having a cavity close to her nerve. My daughter loved coming here so now she comes for her routine care. The kids are able to pick something to watch. The TV is on the ceiling. After the visit you can pick out a prize on the prize wall. Billing is super easy, so there are no surprises. I am very glad that I found this dentist office.

Most importantly, they are inclusive of children of all abilities, and show tremendous sensitivity towards kids that need extra support. Fantastic experience: My daughter had a wonderful first experience at Smiles & Co. The staff is bilingual (Spanish) and that’s also a plus. The office has a very welcoming feel to it as you walk in. My child was very relaxed during the cleaning while she watched cartoons on the ceiling. Both the dental hygienist and dentist were very gentle and sweet. We will definitely be taking both of our children there from now on.

Fantastic experience: Always a great visit! The staff is always super friendly and welcoming! They are not pushy my little guy was not having it today so we waited for Dr Jess she came in and was able to check his teeth and do the rest of her work! They gentle and caring and have great rooms for kids to make the visit easier! Plus who doesn’t love the prize wall at the end! Are nurse assistant was wonderful to!

Fantastic experience: Hands down best visit thus far in our 7 years on earth and I’m in the spectrum. Everyone so welcoming and accommodating. My mom had anxiety but I was champ and so Were the smile professionals. Ladies and Gents we found a dentist.

Fantastic experience: My daughter was approaching 1 year very fast and I did not know it was recommended to have her teeth checked beforehand. I did what is normal nowadays which was Googled Pediatric Dentists around my area. I made the call to a friendly voice on the other end- I apologize as I cannot remember her name. Once we arrived for her appointment, great location, beautiful office and friendly staff. Maria and Cynthia at the front desk were very kind. Dr. Jessica is a gem with a barrel of information from our questions… We also didn’t wait long, I wouldn’t have minded it however as I was taking it all in. Many sweet touches but the ones that stood out were tv’s on the ceiling- Clever and balloons and area for pictures of her very first dentist appointment! My husband was impressed as well- Google search for the win! Our little girl’s first dental appointment was one to remember- thank you for such a wonderful experience.

Negative experience: Doctor and staff are very nice. I just don't like the fact they overcharge for their services. The reason we all pay out of pocket for insurance is to cover the bill at 100%. If you guys charge extra money compared to other dental offices for misc. services. Then we have to pay more out of pocket plus pay for our insurance.

Fantastic experience: It was by pure chance that I ended up here! I was searching for a pediatric dentist when I came across Dr. Mattern’s face after my Google search. I am a first time mom so for me it was important to have someone with a friendly face, little did I know I booked with an awesome office & team! Not only is the office clean, it is very welcoming & I love the little photo op area for the kiddos My son is normally a little fussy about brushing his teeth, but he was able to sit through an entire brush for his 1st dental appointment! Loved everything about this place & already booked next appointment

Fantastic experience: This is the most wonderful dental office for kids! If you have a kiddo that is having a hard time with the dentist, this is the place for them. They are fun, patient, attentive to details that will help your specific child have a smooth experience, and so caring.

Fantastic experience: If anyone is looking for a pediatric dentist I cannot recommend Smiles & Co. Pediatric Dentistry enough! They were absolutely amazing for my almost 2 year olds first visit! She had a hard time during her appointment and cried a lot and they were so good with her! They even offer "happy visits" where the kids who struggle with the dentist can come in and just hang out for a little while to get more comfortable with it! Now our 3rd visit and I still cannot recommend them enough! Edited to add another great experience! Once again, I can’t say enough good things about Smiles & Co. Pediatric Dentistry! They are truly exceptional. In the past, our nearly 3-year-old was terrified of dental visits, to the point that we had to hold her still just for a basic cleaning. But thanks to the incredibly kind, patient, and supportive team, this time she faced the entire appointment with confidence and did it all on her own. We’re so grateful for Dr. Jess and the entire staff at Smiles & Co. They have truly made all the difference!

Fantastic experience: My daughter and I had a great experience at Smiles & Co! The staff checking us in were very friendly upon our arrival, which helped my daughter feel at ease. The dental hygienist was great with my daughter as well; she noticed that my daughter had her Elmo doll with her and put Elmo on the TV for her. She even demonstrated using the little mirror tool on Elmo so my daughter could see how it was used. Dr. Meg was great with my daughter as well, and she answered my questions thoroughly and without judgment. After my daughter was done, she was allowed to pick out a toy and was given a birthday balloon because her birthday is coming up. She was all smiles! I honestly can’t think of a single thing they could’ve done better! Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I was a bit nervous taking my son to his first dentist appointment. He’s typically quite shy in new situations, but not this time! I guess all ya need is Bluey on the ceiling and an amazing supportive and gentle staff!

Fantastic experience: Had my 18mo daughter’s first dental experience here & it was great! She’s very nervous with new people, but they made the experience as fear free for her as possible. Fantastic experience: Went for my daughter’s first dental appointment today and couldn’t have had a better experience! Everyone was incredibly friendly and excellent with making my child feel comfortable and special. She left loving the dentist and excited to come back!

Fantastic experience: The staff were extremely patient and kind with my anxious little girl. They went above and beyond in so many ways and gave an honest and thoughtful assessment of her dental needs. For our second visit Dr. D knew exactly how to make my worried daughter calm and able to sit through the whole cleaning with ease. Their staff is phenomenal!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing, from the moment you walk in the door until you leave. You can tell that every single person is a kid person. Somehow they were able to keep my five year old calm while I was holding him down and the doctor and hygienist were looking at their teeth. Smile and Co is a 5+ star place.

Dr Meg is a gem and the hygienists and staff are wonderful. ❤️❤️❤️ Had a great experience, from scheduling the appointment using their systems to uploading my documents and review of our dental history. Staff was attentive, personable and professional and warm, which is what you want in a pediatric dentist. Update for june 2024: still an amazing experience. Love this place.

Fantastic experience: My girls love Dr Jess and Smiles & Co. From the moment you walk in you are impressed, the space is sunny and gorgeous and the receptionists are always so welcoming. They are very on time and visits are quick. Dr Jess and the rest of the dental staff are kind and knowledgeable. Dr Jess always makes it a point to come chat with me after the check up to give me an update and offer some brushing tips for the kids. Not too many kids get excited when they go to the dentist, but mine do since we started coming here!
