Fantastic experience: Soooo glad I found Dr. Cranham and his wonderful staff, especially Charity, his assistant!! They followed up on my implants with the final crowns and bleaching of my teeth and I am sooo pleased with the results. It was a long time to get everything completed bc I had to wait on 4 implants to be placed and healing before I could come here. Dr. Cranham and staff was able to get my crowns and bleaching done in very few appointments due to their high quality equipment. Thank you for my new smile and bite. It feels so good and I don't have any soreness in my jaws anymore from clenching my teeth. Thank you soooo much!! I would and have, highly recommend this practice to anyone who needs implants or any kind of full mouth restoration that is difficult and needs a dental clinician who deals with full mouth restoration. He is The Best!!!

This is the first dental practice I've been to where I actually look forward to coming in for my cleanings every 6 months because Presley makes the whole experience easy and painless. She is very through and always explains what she is doing. Her kindness and patience is very comforting.Dr Cranham has been treating my TMJ for years and it is clear he truly cares about his patients. I've also had great experiences with Dr. Kaitlyn. The entire staff is always friendly and helpful.

Negative experience: I have been to this office maybe 3-4 times and I have yet to meet the dentist Kaitlyn. I saw her name on paperwork but that's it. I went in today what I assumed was a consultation. The dental assistant advised me she was going to get the dentist but she came back and told me the dentist wanted to get some x-rays and get me scheduled for a consultation. I asked her so we done because nothing transpired while I was there. The only questions that was asked about my teeth was "is my teeth cold to touch." Where was the assessment. I didn't complete any paperwork. How do you guys know what I'm experiencing or feeling. So I expressed that I'm in the clinical field and it would be hard for me to come in during clinic hours. So she kept pushing the appointment back further disregarding I'm there for a service. Horrible customer service. I asked to s/w office manager to find out what's the process, she more engaged in her conversation. Then she proceed to tell me to come around to her, I did and she had me standing there. Totally disregarded me, so I asked her to check me out she did and that was it. She didn't try to find out the reason I wanted to speak with her nor did she seem to care.

Fantastic experience: I recently just moved to Virginia from Charleston. I was in search of a Friendly, professional, personable, caring, and state of the Art Dental facility . Chesapeake Center for Complete Dentistry provided that for me. My oral Hygienist Ashley is so amazing, caring , meticulous, knowledgeable about dental care, and always takes the time to listen, and offer solutions. Dr. Kaitlin is great as well! The staff is always courteous and helpful. The environment is inviting and welcoming. Thanks to the entire team for all you do! Looking forward to my future visits!

Fantastic experience: I ended up having TMJ that was causing really bad referred pain in my ear. I had several doctors diagnose the problem but only Dr. Cranham really took a deeper look at the jaw joint and came up with a plan to fix the problem. He and the rest of his team are true professionals and really care about their patients.

Dr. Niver is a dentistry master! I felt no pain whatsoever at all when he performed the extractions of some teeth that were causing me a lot of pain! He made sure I was comfortable the entire time and made me laugh quite a bit. I cannot recommend this place enough! Negative experience: I have a major issue with my recent appointment. I clearly am missing a filling that fell out and went to have it refilled only to be told that it is still present. I took pictures to send to the company because I am in pain and I went to have it resolved.

Negative experience: I came in to repair a crown. They told me I needed to replace 3 crowns despite my insurance not covering all 3. They claimed that crowns need to be replaced every 5 years... Except they DON'T. Insurance will only pay for them to be replaced every 5 years. That was the first red flag. A year later all 3 crowns this office worked on have to be replaced AGAIN by another dentist because this dentist left openings that opened the crowns to decay. Almost as if they planned it to fail to make more money. I don't know if it was dishonesty or just lack of knowledge but if you need advanced dental work, please consider a different office.

Fantastic experience: Approximately a month ago my front crown loosed after eating an apple. Had an emergency visit with another dentist close to home. I searched on line for a new dentist and found great reviews for your office. Every encounter was friendly and I loved the hygienist Summer. She made me feel comfortable because dental offices make me nervous. I was examined and xrays taken. I am returning in two weeks for a cleaning. This office will be my new home.

Negative experience: I wish I could give zero stars to Chesapeake Center for Complete Dentistry based on my brother's recent experience. What was supposed to be a life-changing dental procedure—getting top veneers—has turned into a nightmare that has affected not only him but also everyone around him, including me. To begin with, the consultation process was rushed and uninformative. My brother went in with a lot of questions and concerns about the veneers, particularly regarding how they would affect his bite and speech. Instead of taking the time to address these issues, the dentist seemed more interested in pushing the procedure forward. It felt like a sales pitch rather than a genuine discussion about my brother's needs. After the procedure, my brother was left with a mouth full of veneers that looked unnatural and felt uncomfortable. The shape and size of the veneers were nothing like what had been discussed during the consultations. Instead of a confident smile, he was left feeling embarrassed and self-conscious. The aesthetic aspect is one thing, but the functional issues are far worse. My brother has been unable to eat properly since getting the veneers. Simple tasks like chewing food have become agonizing for him. He describes a constant feeling of pressure and misalignment, making it difficult to bite down without pain. He has resorted to a diet of soft foods and smoothies, which is not only frustrating but has also impacted his overall health. He’s lost weight and is constantly fatigued, all because he can’t eat properly. Moreover, his speech has been affected as well. He’s finding it difficult to pronounce certain words clearly, leading to embarrassment in social situations. This has taken a toll on his confidence, and seeing him struggle with something as fundamental as speaking has been heartbreaking. I never thought a dental procedure could have such a profound impact on someone’s life. When my brother went back to the Chesapeake Center to express his concerns, he was met with indifference. The staff seemed dismissive of his complaints, which only added to his frustration. Instead of offering solutions or adjustments, they suggested he would need to "get used to them." This response is simply unacceptable for a professional dental practice. A dental procedure should enhance a person's life, not complicate it. I've had to step in multiple times to help him navigate this situation, which has been exhausting for both of us. I’ve spent countless hours researching potential solutions, and we’re now considering seeking a second opinion from another dental practice. It’s incredibly disheartening to see someone you care about suffer due to a lack of professionalism and care. In conclusion, I cannot recommend Chesapeake Center for Complete Dentistry based on my brother’s experience. If you’re considering veneers or any significant dental work, I urge you to think twice and explore other options. No one should have to endure what my brother is going through. A dental practice should provide not just care but also compassion and support. Unfortunately, that seems to be in short supply at Chesapeake Center for Complete Dentistry.

The staff is professional but in a welcoming way that makes you at ease and comfortable. Fantastic experience: Chesapeake Center for Complete Dentistry was so welcoming and caring. I haven’t had the best experiences with the dentist but they were comforting and really eased my mind. The entire team was polite and greeted me with their lovely smiles.

Fantastic experience: Thank you for working in my appt today for crown scans for my implants. I wasn't aware the crowns had to be made at an outside lab and takes 5 weeks. This information was never relayed to me at the time I had the implants placed 4 months ago either by the oral surgeon or someone from your office when making my appt on January 29th. One of your employees even called last week to move my crown appt from the 29th to the 13th which was before my last visit with the oral surgeon on the 15th. I opted to keep my scheduled appt on the 29th (for what I thought would be routine cleaning and crown placement), and I wasn't told that the implants were only going to be scanned and the crowns wouldn't be placed until another 5 weeks later. Instead, Dr. Gray's office explained what was needed and was kind enough to contact your office today to make this appt so I wasn't making two more visits unnecessarily. Perhaps a brochure or complete booklet with these explanations and time limits would be beneficial for all of your patients who are contemplating this procedure. I'm retired and mostly flexible with my time, but those who aren't certainly need to know how much time is involved so they can make arrangements for time off their jobs. Just a suggestion.

Fantastic experience: They’re ABSOLUTELY the best you can get! Would highly recommend both Dr.Cranham’s and their highly trained staff! The assistants and hygienists are extremely hospitable. Negative experience: I chose this office because they have a high rating on Google. The hygienist was absolutely an expert at their chair-side manners however, during the cleaning process, I felt that my teeth were not being completely cleaned on all surfaces. During the polishing, the cleaning tool hardly even touched my teeth. In the past, I’ve had a hygienist spend time polishing each individual tooth making sure to clean all of the surfaces. The dental exam itself at the beginning of the appointment took a very long time. Maybe because I am a new patient? I feel like the most important part which is the cleaning, was completely rushed. My advice to anyone choosing this particular facility is to make sure you mention to your hygienist that you would like to walk away feeling revitalized with clean teeth.

Each staff member in this office deserves recognition for the work they do. Kudos to Charity and Hannah who make the team work at such an amazing level!

From the moment I walked in the door everyone is so friendly and welcoming, however today Dr Neiver and Freya were absolutely amazing and stood out the most, they went above and beyond my expectations I honestly am terrified of the dentist especially when it comes to getting teeth pulled, but I can honestly say dr neiver made sure i had a different outcome today because I didn’t feel a thing and was completely comfortable the entire time. Freya is passionate and very soothing and calming so she definitely was a blessing have her in the room also. By far best dentist office I’ve been to and will be the only one I recommend and go to from here on out .

It was hard getting it done, but dr Cranham’s expert work made it as painless as it could be. The front office staff are all SO lovely and really treat their patients with care and respect. In today’s world, it’s hard to come across a nice office staff, but their office is nothing short of AMAZING. I went back with the hygienist Amario who was so sweet, really took the time to listen to my concerns, and had the most gentle touch with my inflamed gums during my cleaning. Dr. Kaitlyn Cranham then came in to check everything and was able to provide me a treatment plan for my dental needs. I’ve never felt so comfortable at the dentist before, but this office has made me feel so at ease. I cannot recommend Dr. Kaitlyn and her staff enough!

Fantastic experience: Always a great experience with everyone! Several years ago I required extensive dental work which included implants. Dr. Cranham, along with my oral surgeon, were able to accomplish something others in the field had said was not possible. Not only do my teeth/implants look great but they have held up very well. Any concerns or questions I have are taken seriously and I appreciate all of the kindness they show their clients.

Were taken back for our appointments within a 5 minute window of our scheduled time. Hygienist was great to explain what he was doing. This was our first visit and we do plan to keep going there.
