Fantastic experience: We had the best experience. The staff were very patient & friendly. The day of the procedure we felt very comfortable. Dr. Wong & Dr. Reynolds are wonderful! I am so thankful for them.

Fantastic experience: First appointment was awesome! We were quickly seen (definitely not used to that!), the dental assistant (nurse) was amazing with our 5 year old during his cleaning and xrays..making him very comfortable and making him laugh! I think he had fun, which says a lot for a dental visit! Then we were seen very quickly after by Dr. Sachs. Who also was great with our son. We got some education/tips ourselves as parents as well. Really couldn’t have asked for a better first visit. Def recommend!

Fantastic experience: Best pediatric dental procedure experience that i could ever imagine!! My daughter had to undergo anesthesia for surgery (terrifying as a parent) but Dr. Wong was THE BEST and his staff also!! They asked who her favorite musician was during consult and even her favorite album and songs (Taylor Swift). And when she went into the OR, though scared, they had the album playing. The nurses, doctors were all dancing. They practiced giving her lovey stuffed animal anesthesia first, before they gave to her. We couldn’t have imagined a better experience and are so thankful for the care and love they provided!

Fantastic experience: This office is really well versed in care for children and making things fun. My kids already love the dentist. I’m particularly impressed with their ability to accommodate multiple appointments and kids in a seemless way so that you’re in and out. We have definitely enjoyed coming here!

Fantastic experience: Very accommodating to my child’s needs and fast service!

Positive experience: They were ALRIGHT. I took all my kids here and the dentist caught an attitude with me and my child because he was playing with a chair while waiting for his appointment. I understand his concern, but I had 3 appointments back to back and 3 children to manage on my own, and I expected a bit more patience from a pediatric dentist and substantially less judgement, because I felt that, as well. Normally, I am on my kids about their behavior in public, but I didn't really see the harm in him just playing with the chair. He wasn't going to break or damage it, and he wasn't going to hurt himself. Anyway, I switched providers as soon as I was able to, and our new provider doesn't charge a $50 copay and treats me and my children with kindness and compassion. I probably caught this man on a bad day, but they've made thousands of dollars off of my family over the years, and that experience left a poor taste in my mouth.

Fantastic experience: My 6-yr-old son had emergency dental surgery while on vacation. The experience there was horrific. When we returned home, we came to Coastal Pediatric Dental & Anesthesia to remove the remaining broken root. I nearly cried on the way home, not from sadness, but from relief and gratitude. The entire staff was kind, compassionate, patient and genuinely invested in my son’s wellbeing. They spoke to him with respect, made it fun, explained everything clearly, and made sure he felt safe and cared for. After his traumatic first experience, this office showed my son that there is medical care that truly has his best interest in mind. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Fantastic experience: I cannot give the amazing staff and doctors of Coastal Pediatric Dental & Anesthesia enough praise. My child has had several poor experiences with dentists in the Hampton Roads area, this group was recommended to us because of his severe dental anxiety and his need for surgery. From the moment we came to this practice, he was treated with calm, compassionate respect. Never a stern word like the other dentists, nobody telling him to toughen up, just a group of incredible people who took us all through every step of surgery and follow up care with the utmost patience and care. Today was our 6 month follow up, and after almost an hour into our appointment we still hadn't begun the actual visit, due to his extreme fear. Nobody rushed us, nobody got impatient, the tech and the dentist gave him all of the time he needed, moved him to a quiet room to help him, and made sure to give him a mirror to watch every step as they talked him through it. The fact that they care about not causing further trauma absolutely speaks to their level of professionalism and genuine care for their patients. Whether it's surgical care your baby needs or just a place to work through their dental fear, this is the place.

Fantastic experience: Had a wonderful experience at this office! My son had to have fairly extensive dental work done and they were wonderful from start to finish. Everyone made sure we understood what was going on, gave us plenty of chances to ask questions, and explained everything in a way a 5 year old could understand. He wasn’t nervous at all thanks to the wonderful team here!

Fantastic experience: From my son’s surgery to routine cleaning, Dr Sachs has been exceptionally attentive and thorough. He treats my son with genuine kindness and makes him comfortable in the chair. The entire front desk staff have always been welcoming and they have the best dental hygienist! I really have such a peace knowing my sons in good hands. I also cannot say enough great things about Dr. Wong, the anesthesiologist. It’s been five years since my sons surgery and I tell everyone about how amazing he was during the whole experience!

Fantastic experience: My 16 month old had his first dentist appointment ever today, and I’m over the moon with the experience. I was a nervous a wreck about how he would do but the entire process from start to finish was explained thoroughly. The dental hygienist, I wish I could remember her name, was so sweet! Dr. Sach’s was singing to my little boy during the cleaning, he was so quick yet efficient, and patient with my crying baby. He took his time with us when talking about dental health which I greatly appreciated. We look forward to coming back!

Fantastic experience: I will not go to any other dental office for my child. This is an excellent dental office with the patience of saints. They will help your child to feel comfortable and if your child has a disability they really know how to handle your child's behavior with complete and absolute kindness and as I said patience.

Fantastic experience: We love it here!! We’ve been coming for years, we even chose to be self pay when they no longer took our insurance bc there was no way we were going anywhere. I trust them with my children. They’re wonderful with kids, ease any anxiety, clean and knowledgeable. I love how they let my kiddos know everything every step of the way.

Fantastic experience: This morning our daughter had her tooth extracted by Dr. Sachs & anesthesia from Dr. Wong. This is the best team of doctors, nurses and office staff if your small child will not sit still to cooperate with tooth extraction. From beginning to end they are kind, calm and explain every detail and question. They made it the best experience it could be! Highly recommend 10/10

Fantastic experience: Excellent experience! The dentist and nurse were very friendly and great with my squirmy 16 month old. Very fast-paced visit however they were still inquisitive and left room for me to ask questions.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Sachs and Dr. Wong are truly a dream team (including their nurses and office staff!). I couldn’t have asked for better care for my daughter. From start to finish, they were attentive, thorough, and compassionate throughout her oral surgery. They quickly built a trusting relationship with my 3-year-old, helping her feel safe and at ease. As parents, we felt fully informed and supported every step of the way. A nurse checked in with us three times during the procedure, and both doctors met us afterward in recovery to explain how everything went and guide us through post-op care. We were originally referred here for this procedure, but after such a positive experience, we’ll be switching both our daughters to this practice for all future appointments—despite the drive from southern Chesapeake. I highly recommend this office and these providers. They made a tough experience so much easier.

Fantastic experience: This is the best pediatric dentist office that we've seen. We were first referred to Coastal for a child's procedure that needed anesthesia. What we found here was a shockingly good dentist office. They are prompt, kind, knowledgeable, and are especially great at describing any issues and the solutions. We immediately switched to this practice and drive all the way from Suffolk to see them.

Fantastic experience: We had a great experience with the dentist and dental assistant, they sang abc’s and twinkle little star and took such good care of our daughter for her first dental appointment (one year old). Happy to be here and stick with them as our pediatric dentist!

Fantastic experience: My daughter got an extraction under anesthesia here. The staff was extremely nice, informative, and spoke to my daughter ensuring she was comfortable. When she mentioned her favorite show to Dr. Wong, he became an expert in the 5 minutes between the prep room and the operating room. When the procedure was over, we weren’t rushed out (like we were after her tonsillectomy elsewhere). I cannot recommend Coastal enough!

Positive experience: We love Dr Sachs and the office staff are just as wonderful. My daughter started seeing him when she was one. At her last appt we were informed that she lost all her baby teeth and would no longer be allowed to be seen, she’s only 11. I was not very pleased with this. We had no warning. Trying to find a new dentist that doesn’t have a 9 month waitlist is almost impossible. I have spoken with several other pediatric dentists and they see kids until 18.

Fantastic experience: The entire staff is kind, friendly, wonderful and they genuinely care about their patientsand family. We had a fantastic experience. My granddaughter had some major work done. The staff was so efficient and helpful. They came out every 20 minutes and gave us an update. It was an amazing experience. Thank you for making us feel like family.

Fantastic experience: My 8 yr old had to get his cavity filled and he was super anxious about the entire process. The dentist and his staff were so friendly supportive professional and QUICK that he didn’t even realize what was happening! This office is hands down amazing with children!

Fantastic experience: This practice is filled with the most patient and professional people. Through routine cleanings, fillings, and even an extraction, they have made my family feel comfortable and understood. I highly recommend this practice to everyone, but especially to families with special needs children and/or kids with sensory issues. Working through my own dental trauma has had me feeling sick with anxiety for every appointment, but it always goes so much better than I thought was possible- every single time.

My children have been patients of Dr. Sachs for over ten years and I appreciate him more and more as each year passes. Even when our insurance became out of network we still continue to see him and his team. The absolute best!

Fantastic experience: I can not say enough great things about Coastal Pediatric! Everyone was extremely nice and went above and beyond for us. From my initial call with our emergency problem to answering all our questions and walking us through everything. We love them so much that our dental insurance is out of network with them and we are still going to switch to them for our regular check ups.

Fantastic experience: Our experience was outstanding! From the check-in to the wheelchair ride to the car, the service was impeccable. Both Dr. Wong and Dr. Sachs were amazing, and I so appreciate their willingness to work with my son. Also, my son had minimal discomfort following his procedure.

Fantastic experience: This was my son’s first procedure overall and I was very anxious. Dr. Reynolds and Dr. Wong made sure to ease the anxiety by explaining everything very thoroughly and keeping me updated during the procedure. My baby is now back home with his teeth taken care of and no more pain. 10/10 recommend.

Fantastic experience: It was amazing! My 10 month old had an accident last night and hurt his tooth pretty badly, I called this morning and they got me in within the hour! ALL of the staff were so nice and welcoming and very sweet to my baby. They made his experience as painless as possible, he did so good. They were my first call when I was searching and they did not disappoint! I loved it and I will continue to go there! Thank you guys SO much!

We have two children with autism, and have received such amazing and kind care from the staff here that neither of our kids have any fear of going to the dentist. We have worked personally with Dr. Wong, Dr. Sachs, and Dr. Reynolds - it is no exaggeration to say we couldn’t have asked for a better team for our kids. And another shoutout to Mackenzie, one of the nurses there who has repeatedly been so kind and awesome with the kids. Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend this practice enough. Dr. Sachs was wonderful with my toddler, he sang the entire time he was cleaning his teeth which resulted in a very easy and quick exam for my toddler. Very informative and helpful with setting expectations for my toddlers care. 10/10.

Fantastic experience: We were previously at another Pediatric Dentistry. After not recieveing the proper care we felt like for our son, we called up Coastal for a second opinion. We're so grateful for the WHOLE STAFF! (We were referred to them in May for an issue that required attention, going under. They were fabulous!) The previous Dentistry didn't see a problem. No xrays taken, nerves weren't exposed, nothing they could do. They were just his baby teeth. Second opinion, our son needed 3 teeth removed due to a fall he had, that damaged the inside, causing pain. Again, they were fabulous with our son. I will be switching him over completely for his care from here on out. The hour drive is worth it for us. Thank you ❤️

Fantastic experience: My daughter had oral surgery recently at Coastal Pediatric Dental and Anesthesia after having a traumatic experience with our previous pediatric dentist. Dr Wong and Dr Sachs (as well as the entire rest of the staff) were so wonderful to my daughter. They walked her through the entire procedure prior to her surgery and engaged with her in a way that made her and myself feel at ease. It warms my heart to find an office that made my daughter welcome going to the dentist vs having serious anxiety about it. This mama is happy to recommend their office to anyone but especially kiddos with anxiety and on the spectrum. Thank you all so much!

Fantastic experience: All the staff here at Coastal Pediatric Dental & Anesthesia were amazing and so caring. I love how they wanted to make sure we were clear with the dental plan, reviewing our plan before during and after our son’s procedure to make sure we were clear and understood everything being done. The anesthesiologist was fantastic. He was very animated and made our son feel so comfortable. He paid attention to my sons likes that he observed from him playing on his switch and on his pjs to speak with him in “kid” language to prepare him. I was so impressed and appreciative. I was really nervous and seeing how effort they did to make us feel at ease definitely helped my stress. Even our assistant who wheeled our son to the car was so helpful, patient and just so kind! We truly had a great experience during our first and the day of our procedure visit. I will most definitely refer Coastal Pediatric Dental & Anesthesia to anyone who is in need. Fantastic experience: So many exceptional positives about this business. The facility is clean and the staff are absolutely incredible. Summer was our dental hygienist for my daughter's 1st dental visit ever. She is a natural with kids. This is corny, but it made me a little emotional. Watching Summer make my daughter's experience so fun and exciting that she told me, "Papa, I love the dentist." This is so important....building a trust so that coming back to the dentist in the future won't be a nightmare.

Fantastic experience: My kids go here and Dr. Sachs and his team have always been great. Today he saw my daughter for a dental emergency and was able to get her all squared away. Our family loves their team. Cassandra in the business office is also fabulous with dealing with insurances.

Fantastic experience: Our dental office (Shore Smiles, also 5 stars!) found CPDA for us because we wanted a dedicated anesthesia provider for our child’s dental extractions. We could not have been more impressed! Everyone was kind, friendly, and professional. They prioritized safety and made sure all our questions were answered. They also included our child in conversations instead of only focusing on us. We feel so lucky to have an office like this in our area! Highly recommend!!!

Fantastic experience: Great dentist office for children! The entire staff is friendly, welcoming, and willing to answer any questions you have. They were able to keep my kids attention and keep her calm enough for X-rays when every other dentist has said they aren’t able to do it. Highly recommend especially for autistic children because they are a one stop shop. I did not have to wait months for general anesthesia it was literally a week wait and they completed everything in one appointment.

Fantastic experience: When I say this practice gets five stars, that is an understatement! Each person from the front desk to the whole dental team was super flexible and listen to every concern we had. Our 2 year old son split his front tooth and they were able to get us in immediately. We went ahead and decided to pull it and our dentist did a fantastic job as well as the nurse working with her. A huge thanks to this practice!

Fantastic experience: We absolutely love taking our boys to Coastal Pediatrics, they are the absolute best! We’ve been taking my sons every 6 months for the past 2-3 years. The staff is amazing with the kids. One of sons had some extractions done and we felt so at ease with the whole process knowing that he was in great hands. the knowledge, patience, and kindness that they show is unmatched.

Fantastic experience: Amazing staff. This was our 3rd dentist office in 4 months and we finally had a successful visit because my daughter was comfortable with the assistant and Dr. Sachs. The assistant was amazing with explaining everything to my daughter and made it fun. Dr. Sachs is very thorough and explains everything to you so you understand and takes the time to answer any and all questions you have. I highly recommend this office and I will definitely recommend friends and family to their office.

Fantastic experience: My son fell and chipped a tooth, naturally I freaked out. I called CPD and they were able to get him in same day! They were absolutely fantastic with my son. I’ve been so worried about him seeing a dentist since he’s still very young but they made him feel so comfortable. 10/10 bring your littles here!

Fantastic experience: Ms.Jadia worked a small miracle today! My 7yr old was so frightened of dentists and she has never had her teeth cleaned-at least not without being sedated. Ms.Jadia talked it out with her (very patiently I might add) and my daughter actually let Ms.Jadia polish her teeth! My husband and I were in shock! I am very comfortable bringing my anxious daughter to Coastal Pediatric! I know her anxiety will definitely disappear now! THANK YOU!!!

Fantastic experience: What a wonderful experience! My son hasn’t been to the dentist in a white and developed some anxiety about returning. This office made him feel right at ease. He was excited to learn about what they were doing and he felt so happy once his appointment was over. He was proud of himself. I can’t explain what this meant to my heart to see him so confident and ready to return to the dentist considering my past negative experiences at the dentist as a child. Thank you to the amazing staff. We will refer everyone with a child to this office!

From the moment of scheduling an appointment, to the dental assistant, Dr Reynolds and checking out I was very satisfied. I’m glad we found a dentist for our toddler.

Fantastic experience: Amazing!!! My daughter had to go in because of a fall on her front teeth. They squeezed her in day of, and EVERY single person there treated my family and most important my daughter like we were their family. They took care of us and squeezed us in for the surgery to to make sure my daughter is taken care of and no longer in pain. The whole exam my daughter was so happy because the doctors & techs were all engaging, playing, talking to and explaining everything to my daughter. Thank you everyone here for everything you do!

Fantastic experience: It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. My daughter is 2 and this is the first time she saw a dentist. They were quick and efficient and allowed me to comfort her, hold her favorite toy and play her favorite songs for the entire process. I would highly recommend anyone bringing their child to this practice.

Fantastic experience: Coastal Pediatric Dental and Anesthesia is an amazing group of Nurses and Doctors. Dr. Reynolds and Dr. Sachs are so patient, kind and welcoming for my kids that they love going to the Dentist. If you are looking for great care for your children's teeth and gum health as well as a positive experience for your kids to remember for many years, I would definitely recommend this group.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful staff that is incredibly personable. Dr. Wong was amazing with my four year old daughter making her experience of what could be a very scary thing something she greeted with smiles. And if there were story telling degrees, Dr. Wong would absolutely be head of class!

Fantastic experience: Wow. Amazing! The entire team was so great with my 4 year old daughter. She is pretty defiant and doesn’t let the dentist even look in her mouth. I got this referral and went today. She opened her mouth, answered questions, laughed, and asked when we can go back. They took a lot of time and went through everything step by step with me. I’m more than impressed and feel comfortable knowing that she will be in great hands with her surgery.

Fantastic experience: This is by far the best pediatric dental office I have ever visited. The level of care that is provided is unparalleled. From the technicians, to the nurse, to the most amazing anesthesiologist, I highly recommend this practice to any parent. My child had the absolute best experience, and so did I! I never thought I would say that about an extensive dental procedure, but here we are. So thankful!

Fantastic experience: I would give a million stars if I could! Dr. Reynolds, Dr. Wong, and Eliana, along with the receptionist are honestly the best from the moment you walk in. From our consultation to the procedure (that was just done this morning), everyone was so kind and informative. As a mother with a special needs child I am very hesitant and anxious with a lot of thing but they made this process so easy for us and my son (4) who is mostly non verbal and has autism. They are very informative and are upfront about what needs to be done and cost. They also make sure to check up on you after everything is done and don’t leave you hanging after the fact. They truly care about their patients and I don’t think I would be able to go anywhere else! If you need something done for your children, especially specially needs I would recommend them a thousand times over! Thank you so much to everyone at Coastal Pediatric Dental!

Fantastic experience: I cannot thank this team enough for their kindness and professionalism they showed me and my son. He's a nervous little guy so needless to say I was worried about taking him to the Dentist because I thought he would be a wreck. I was fortunate enough to be VERY wrong!! From my first call to schedule an appointment to walking out with my son after a dental procedure, our experience was wonderful. The reception team, Dr. Sachs, Dr. Reynolds, Dr. Wong, and the dental hygienist were all so great with my son, it was like they had known him for years. This facility is full of caring individuals that truly want to make you and your child's experiences with them easy and fun. My only wish is that I had taken my son here sooner because now we are moving and he won't get to continue having these great experiences at the dentist. Fantastic experience: The assistant we had today at his appointment was amazing with my 5 yr old. Lots of high fives, laughing and earning his trust when it came to X-rays and teeth cleaning! The dentist is super personable, fast and great with kids. Best pediatric dentist we’ve ever been to!! Highly highly recommend!!

Fantastic experience: Having a special needs child is difficult in so many aspects however coastal has always made our visits very pleasant from the front desk and especially the Dentist! She’s fantastic! Love, love coming to our visits.
