Fantastic experience: Even though I went in for a consultation. My appointment was great the treatment I received was also great. The dentist took his time and explained everything to me about the treatment plan and ask me if I wanted to be asleep when I had my dental work done. They also explained to me what everything will cost before and after my insurance pay their part. So I want get any surprises. Which I think was great. I will definitely recommend them to family and friends.

Negative experience: The dentist was great in her assistant, but her head assistant. Carmen was not so great. She was in everybody's business, but her own she was only a tenant to all the negative things I asked for a glove she said that she couldn't give me a glove, but it was humiliating because she said it in front of everybody while having a door open to assist the next patient.

It took ME over 15-20 years to RETURN back to a Dental Office, but after speaking to LWSS Dental Hygienist, Rosalyn who EXPLAINED to ME, "how relaxed, & comfortable LWSS WILL make YOU feel, OMGEE INDEED they did. Fantastic experience: LWSS family dentistry is an outstanding place for dental care. Dr Marcou is a wonderful dentist and I would highly recommend him. The entire staff is very friendly and respectful. Even for patients who had a nightmare dentist as a child. It’s not my favorite thing to do but the staff makes everything ok

Positive experience: The hygienist that cleaned my teeth was mean I've never had an issue with LWSS before everybody's usually so nice and so sweet and very professional but this one lady I found her to be mean.But like I said never had an issue before and I don't want this to reflect on anyone else at LWSS because of one bad apple.

Fantastic experience: I was there 6 weeks previous for my bi-yearly check up and when the Hygienic called the Dr in, Dr T her name, asked me if I wanted to have some repair on my teeth. These sensitive spots had been there all the time, but this was the first time a Dentist had reached out to help. I made an appointment. A quick procedure, I'm happy. The practice is modern and hygienic clean which I need and they accept Advance Medicare.

Fantastic experience: So far so good! Had an unfortunate experience with another provider that made me come here. I expressed my concerns and discussed my needs (as an MS PATIENT) and they have been amazing!! Patient and they explain each step as we go. They help me interpret the need and have helped me reached a better place of comfort and peace of mind. I have seen different dentist/hygienist all under the guidance of my primary. She has always been involved in my care so far. That’s important to me because of my Auto Immune Disease. My latest visit was with Amanda- she was absolutely lovely! Made my cleaning and the sealing of my teeth feel easy. The receptionists are always a delight and helpful with scheduling and my chaos of a work schedule. The billing rep I stood with was personable and funny. I am happy I made the change.

Negative experience: The dental assistants were very nice, but the dentist ruined my teeth. I had a filling done and now my tooth hurts so much. I can’t even floss because the filling is glues together. I will just have to go back to my old dentist

Negative experience: Overall the dental assistants are nice but Doctor Ramya is very rude.She likes to talk over people while they are talking I Tried explaining to her about a referral and how I was given one by my orthodontist already and she kept interrupting me.Recently I just went to get a fill in and I was told that if I need her to stop for a second to put my hand up and that’s what I did she insisted to keep drilling while I was clearly in pain .The assistant that was with her was really nice though. She also does not talk and walk through what she is doing to you.

Fantastic experience: Gina consistently performs at a high level and demonstrates thoroughness in her work. Robin, at the front desk, consistently provides excellent service.

Positive experience: I would give them a 5 star rating except that the on call service on the weekend would not make me an emergency appointment when I broke a tooth over the weekend. I now know to o directly to the Dental office the first thing Monday to get worked into the schedule for that day.

Negative experience: I was experiencing cold sensitivity and was told it was dry mouth causing gums to pull back. Now I have sensitivity to sweets like the crown or filling is cracked on top.

The wife n I are Seniors Citizens, Retired and our Insurance Delta Dental pretty good insurance but as usual could be better, id like to Insurance add extra cleanings annually as required as a suggestion from Dental Tech or Dentistry. I always open to recommend LWSS to my military network.

Little Cree, Norfolk Location for 5 years since we moved to Newport News. We have been very pleased with the entire staff. The receptionists are very professional and are great about reminding of us appointments and rescheduling when necessary. The hygienists dona wonderful job cleaning the teeth and the dentists have the right touch My children have NEVER feared going to the dentist, which is a completely different experience than my friends have. 100% would recommend For the entire family.
