Positive experience: Waiting time is long. Dr was nice explained everything.

Negative experience: Horrible!!! I took my 8 yo daughter here to get a cap because her primary dentist doesn't have nitrous. We waited all this time, 2 courses of antibiotics to ensure she did not get an infection ,just for us to show up at 745am & be told they were out of nitrous...Apparently they ran out days before & never called to let me know. That was the whole point in going to Spencer's dental. She needed nitrous for this procedure. We stopped going years ago due to the same fill-in falling out 4 times. Very unprofessional & the office is dirty. Take your kids or yourself somewhere else!!!

Negative experience: Will never go back to this office ever again got my bottom wisdom teeth taken out and been having numbness in my face since it was taken out and it’s been two months they don’t want to do anything about it other than give me steroids that I’ve already taken and it still doesn’t help not to mention they over schedule people I waited four to five hours just to be told try the steroids which I did and I still can’t feel my face

Negative experience: Not a good experience appointment was at 3:30pm, I was not seen until 5:20, this was my first dental appointment for my 19 month old son we noticed bottle rot and wanted to know next steps, the provider which we waited for, for 2 hours took 3 seconds told us he had cavities and we had to pry information from him, he said he needs a GA (we have no idea what a GA is or what that means) he then just walks away, he doesn't tell us we are done, doesn't provide anymore information, the information we did get which was he needs a GA was only given after asking several times, after he walks away, we don't know if we are done or what to do next, the other office staff then helped us saying that's all for now and we got a better explanation from the front office staff who told us this is not the usual doctor and the usual doctor is on vacation, she did apologize for the inconvenience and explained what next steps may be and helped us set up an appointment with the actual doctor when he gets back. I would like to give the next doctor a chance, but I think leaving this interim-doctor there will really slow down business if not destroy your credibility please do better in choosing interim providers

Negative experience: I went to book and appointment online and when I went to call the number to finish making my appointment they guy asked for my information and once I told him my insurance he hanged up and I went to call back and they immediately hanged up on me yet when I look up dentists that take my insurance you guys are the first one to pop up.

Fantastic experience: I love this Dentistry. Everyone that works here is amazing and thorough! We had Steven Hanson cleaning our teeth and he was THE ABSOLUTE BEST! He had me and my daughter giggling the whole time.

Negative experience: They don't answer the phone, and when you are finally able to get an appointment, they will cancel it without your notice. I took the day off, because I had to be seen for toothpain- I called MORNING OF just to confirm the scheduled time, and was informed my appointment had been CANCELED. NOBODY TOLD ME. I HAD TAKEN THE DAY OFF FROM WORK. "Do you want to reschedule?" No, absolutely not. If you have a phone number, I should not have to go up there in person to talk to a human that's not from an answering service, and if something popped up that requires you to cancel my appointment, common hunan decency dictates, that you let your patients KNOW. There is no excuse for this kind of unprofessional behavior. If you have to print your appointment schedules in advance with contact information in case of emergency regarding system failure or what have you, so be it. I don't care. Absolutely ridiculous. Will actively refer people AWAY from this practice from here on out.

Negative experience: Terrible experience. Canceled my appointment with no notice, and I was told three different stories by three different representatives as to why. One told me I failed to confirm the appointment, one said I had two appointments at different locations, and one simply told me that the office had canceled it and they couldn't tell me why. Horrific location, and they can't even get their stories straight internally before approaching us. Will never bring my children here.

Positive experience: Da Princeton, at spencer dental little creek has always been soo friendly and help to me and my son. He never has a problem with giving advice and is very appreciated. I wish anywhere I go that there would be more out going people like him. Thank you for everything!

Negative experience: It's the fact you receive 50 million calls and all these texts and get to the appointment on time to be told they are backed up and reschedule. Why is there no call or text to communicate that before wasting time. Appointment will be cancelled if your 1 minute late but you will have to wait literally an hour or more after your scheduled appointment time.

Negative experience: At check-in, front desk person was very rude and dismissive. I never saw a dentist. The dental assistant never looked in my mouth. She left me in a room and when she came back said the dentist had come up with a treatment plan for a tooth extraction. The tooth they were planning to extract had already been removed in January! I was there because of jaw pain. She said she misunderstood and went back to the dentist then gave me a referral to an oral surgeon. Won't be going back here for sure. Would've given zero stars but that's not an option. I've seen numerous bad reviews regarding front desk staff being rude and disrespectful. Why is this allowed to continue?

Negative experience: My daughter had her appointment today for her dental cleaning, as soon as we opened the door a smell of dirt, of cigarette, the dirty carpet and the staff in front does not say hello they only asked me if i have appointment and she gaveto my daughter a form on paper and sent me a digital form to me and when I returned the form she did not say anything to me just an ugly expression and I told her what we do now. and she tells me to wait ... Today was her last appointment there!!! Finally the insurance changed her and all my children's to a different dentist!!! They really have to do something with the staff that is and with the facilities that are disgusting!!

Fantastic experience: June 16, 2026 I would like to thank Spencer Dental for the excellent service and extreme care as I had all of my teeth removed this morning. They made sure I was comfortable and absolutely no pain during the procedure. I would like to thank them from the depths of my heart for their gentleness. I will make sure to recommend them to all my family and friends. Thank you all kindly.

Fantastic experience: My kids first time there and it was awesome staff at the front and the back were awesome and nice to us even when I had a hard time with the paperwork on the phone for each one of my kids once the paperwork was completed they called us back dentist and orthodontics department was GREAT I truly recommend little creek location keep up the amazing work

Negative experience: Experience was horrible. Had an appointment and after and hour and half they final called me for me to have to wait another 30 minutes before they started. I don't understand how we can be charged for being late when that canceling an appointment but they can be late and have you waiting for two hours more just to be seen the staff at the front desk is horrible. They don’t know how to talk to you and when you ask questions they say oh Lord and hang the phone up on you.

Negative experience: I did not have a problem with this dental office even with the long wait time for appointments. My problem is I made an appointment 2 months prior at 4pm only to find out my appointment was canceled the day before by the ortho office because I also had an appointment with them. I received all the text confirmation prior except the one that canceled my appointment the day before, which still is not acceptable because again how you have rule and time frame where you take adults and your scheduling center doesn't know this. I contacted what I thought was corporate office which only turned out to be the scheduling department after doing some digging they just so happened to don't have a corporate office. So they can get away with pulling this mess and nothing happens. Then I can only get an appointment another 2 month wait. But if you late they will charge you. I'm going to look into suing them for bad practice and no accommodation for their own system failure. Like how you schedule me for the appointment and not know they don't take adults after a certain time?

Fantastic experience: Minus the misspelling of my children’s names and my address error. It was amazing the dental hygienist was fabulous and so kind and informative. My daughters absolutely loved it there.

Negative experience: Zero rating every time my daughter have appointment they always say we didn’t confirm her appointment but I did. That’s why they always reschedule it waste of time to go there that you know you have scheduled. And the registration people there always have attitude. Not recommended to someone

Negative experience: Worst dental place ever. I got a fill 4 hours ago and the pain is unbearable. I called the number and they said the office will call back in 30 minutes with no Urgency. After they fix this i will never come back

Fantastic experience: Dr Pool was informative and helpful in delivering the best treatment. His Dental Assistant Iesha was also helpful in providing the best care possible. Clean and spacious office as well, even offers a space for the children to go while you wait during your visit.

Negative experience: I arrived for my scheduled appointment to be told it was canceled due to me not confirming. I showed them where I did confirm as I had the text and I had also called and spoke to someone to confirm as they have had scheduling errors in the past. Was rescheduled for a week later, arrived to that appointment to be told I was not on the schedule and that I would need to reschedule again.

Fantastic experience: They do great with the upkeep of my 11 year old's braces. I even just started to take my 1 year old!

Negative experience: Darkskin Front desk lady with bad blow out is extremely rude. The pretty lightskin lady with the clear glasses is so pretty and so sweet i love her ❤️

Negative experience: Called to schedule an orthodontist appointment for my child and was unable to do so due to an issue with location. Asked to speak to a manger and was told there is none. They are quick to rush you off the phone and the call center hangs up when they don’t feel like finding an appointment. Highly unprofessional.

Fantastic experience: The entire staff at Spencer Dental was very professional and empathetic. They thoroughly explained my procedure and answered all of my questions. Dr. Pool was the nicest dentist I’ve ever been to and even though I had to drive 45 minutes to his office, it was well worth it. I would highly recommend him and Spencer Dentist.

Fantastic experience: When here for the first time, loved everything about this facility. The front desk representatives are amazing! They are fast and efficient, get the job done. I Wouk’s highly recommended the company to anyone.

Negative experience: Front end staff was horrendously rude. When I asked what was going on, I was met with rude remarks an no real information that I was asking for, over a simple change of insurance. Rather than assisting and telling me what was going on, they ignored me and treated me like I had no right to ask why it was taking so long for my children to be seen. Only one woman there was respectful and answered my questions, after 4 others refused to do so. The hygenist and doctor were great, but not worth the trouble of going back.I will NEVER recommend this practice after dealing with all of that, and will be taking my children elsewhere in the future. The initial woman I spoke with should be FIRED for her remarks to me alone. Hire better people to handle your customers and teach them how to speak to people respectfully. Zero stars should be an option. Going here for YEARS and its gone downhill with every visit. Good riddance!

Negative experience: The Worst dentist ever All offices they need to close the doors no one does their jobs and very unprofessional!!!!!!

Negative experience: I arrived 25 mins early and I was called in 20 mins late. My appointment was at 9am and I had my x-rays and pictures taken. By 9:55am, I finally had the dental hygienist look at my teeth. 15 mins later, I was told that I would need prior authorization to get a deep cleaning and gum grafting. When I spoke with the front desk, I was simply given a card to come back in 6 months for a routine cleaning. I had to inform her of the discussion. She had to go back several times because it was not communicated with her and she didn’t know about the prior authorization. Another person in the front desk informed me that I didn’t need the prior authorization for the deep cleaning. When I asked about the gum grafting, I was told that the person who saw me is supposed to do it but she isn’t even a periodontist. That conversation alone took 20 mins. In total, I was there for 2 hours. Terrible experience.

Negative experience: The ladies at the desk are not very friendly.. The dentist obviously wants to get to the next patient so they rush and have no time for scared children. A plus is The guys that only clean teeth are super nice.

Negative experience: If I could give NEGATIVE stars, I would. My eldest son’s appointment was scheduled at 4pm. I got a call the 4pm the day before to shift the time because they don’t take teens after 3pm. I couldn’t understand how this slipped through the crack when his appointment has been scheduled for several weeks. I rescheduled him to 8 am, which was the same time as my one-year-old’s appointment. We arrived and even though we completed the online paperwork, it took over 20 minutes for insurance verification. Mind you my oldest typically goes to the JANAF location. We were the first ones in the building, several people showed up after us and most of them were taken back before us. We were finally called back at 8:31. My first son was seen for his cleaning. The cleaning took less than five minutes. But they’re justification for moving his appointment was how labor intensive a teen cleaning is. After he was done, no one told him he needed to wait for the dentist, so he went back to the waiting room. I had to call him back because of the poor communication. Then, my youngest son was not seen until 8:45. Cleaning ended shortly after but he has 8 teeth. The dentist finally came in the room at 8:53. Again, although we were the first ones here, at the building and checked in, he did not see my kids first. By this time, my toddler is frustrated and crying. As a courtesy to others, it makes sense to start with the crying baby. 8:56 he finally saw my youngest. 8:59 saw my oldest. Soon after their 60 SECOND exams were done, we walked out of the building. For the sake of your time, money, and effort DO NOT go anywhere associated with the name Spencer Dental. We have tried two locations, and they are both trash and less than professional and more ways than one regardless of which department it is.

Negative experience: Will blow up youre phone to get appointment made but when you call you get left on hold or oh we are only a call center we cant reach the location in question but we will have them call you back . And they never do . Won't give full details of what is going on when you ask the front desk say info not in system at this time .

Fantastic experience: I was very happy with my experience at Spencer's dentist office.

Negative experience: I’m two seconds away from switching locations. The front desk lady with a missing piece of her glasses is rude. My husband took the kids to the dentist this morning . He was sitting in the car after checking them in she called me getting smart. Remind you my kids are 13 n 11. As I was talking she hung up In my ear. Everytime I visit little creek that same lady has a nasty attitude. I’ve talked to the ortho team and they said they’re aware and not sure why she’s so rude. They actually agreed that she’s rude ! LADY YOU CANT HAVE UGLY LOOKS N A UGLY ATTITUDE PUCK YOUR STRUGGLE! And this the last complaint

Negative experience: Spencer dental has a few issues that I would like to write about in this review. 1. Wait Time: Each time I’ve come to this office it’s been a wait of close to an hour long. It’s difficult finding a dentist which is the only reason I’m returning to them. However, I can’t express how frustrated I am waiting in a lobby for nearly an hour without an apology from anyone. I came in 10:15am with my appointment scheduled for 10:30am, at 11am I went to ask the office staff the issue. I was told there’s people in the back and it’s 11:02am and it will be an additional 20 minutes long. I stayed home from work today to take both of my children to this office so leaving out of frustration is out of the question. 2. Changing polices: I’ve been told adults can come in for appointments however I was unable to schedule over the phone for my second appointment. I was told I would need to drive to the office to set the appointment up for myself. This is a huge inconvenience for my time to schedule in this way.

Negative experience: My son appt was today 3/11/2026 @ 10 am grt to the little creek office at 9:45 get to the desk young lady with glass say .go to janaf they waiting on you when I asked why no one called to let me know it was changed all she said was they waiting on you. Get to janaf only to find out they cancel the appt . Little creek Spencer front desk NEEDS TO DO BETTER

Fantastic experience: Took my grandson to the dentist to have his braces checked. His appointment was at two when we got in there. It was about one something was real crowded, but they got him in and out within 25 minutes. It was real fast and proficient .

Negative experience: So far it’s been pretty disorganized. 0 communication on scheduling issues and etc until you arrive. I’m not sure why every time I come there’s a scheduling issue but people are busy and already subject to limited scheduling based on the Drs availability, rescheduling is a huge inconvenience Update from this afternoons reschedule: Wasn’t able to be seen due to the Dr no longer being there. At this point regardless of the reasoning 3 times having to reschedule is completely absurd

Positive experience: Well-suited for children patients. Not used to open concept treatment (hygiene) area. Was a bit uncomfortable as there were no curtains or barriers separating view of other patients. Hygienist was good but easily distracted by others and operated equipment a little hazardly in my mouth. Front desk, X-ray examiner and dentist was absolutely amazing, gentle and made me comfortable. I am grateful for them.

Negative experience: If you're thinking about starting a set of braces for your children and beware- We paid in full for our children to have braces. The orthodo Department Have too many inconsistencies in their scheduling of ortho doctors to accommodate the area .. They do not accommodate emergency visits at different locations in an effort to ensure your children have the appointment schedules they need.. Oh and they frequently cancel appointments that are made in advance and confirmed The day of or even on the spot. That's not a front of the house problem it's a back of the house problem so by no means are we pointing fingers at the staffing or the schedulers period we have given grace to the fact that there is a shortage of orthodo Providers in the area we also have given grace inside of people having situational hiccups that disallow them to be at work. But we hope that this helps somebody to get an overview of our experience.. Because if it was Explained to us prior to the commitment we would not have Chosen this brand as a care provider .. We also considered VCU in Richmond they are phenomenal But weren't sure that we would want to make the drive, But now we resigned to the idea, we should have... Oh and just for a little more seasoning On this dish that I'm serving..... If you guys are about to say hi Dorinda I'm sorry for your bad experience and for me to call a 1 800 number... Hold the dressing - People should be aware that when you are trying to call and get a hold of somebody at the specific location of interest you will be looped and looped and looped into a matrix that you will never exit. It is impossible to speak directly to somebody that you need to talk to at the location they will route you to a Filipino call center And pretend like oh they're not answering when the operative tries the location directly.. This is a frustrating and exhaustible process. And I will not be calling a 1800 number after yall apologize about our Less than par experiences... If can make an impact on just one person then my purpose is served.. Eatdat.

Negative experience: I am disappointed in the service I received at Spencer Dental. On my original visit, they were quick to want to pull a tooth instead of performing a root canal. They told me since there was a crown, they couldn't do it and referred me to a clinic in virginia Beach, an hour away. When I called the clinic, they were closed for the week and to call on Monday. That Monday, the Norfolk Spencer Dental called and said they had an appointment open for Tuesday to perform the root canal, I said great. I arrived 10 min early and waited 30 min to be seen. I was told they couldn't perform the root canal because of the crown and was referred to the clinic in Virginia Beach. So it was a waste of time and gas. I have had root canals done before with a tooth that had a crown and never had to be referred. I have subsequently found another dentist in order to get the help I need. This is the first time I have been on medicaid and I have to say, if this is how people are treated who don't have normal Dental Insurance this is sad. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone.

Negative experience: They should give the option of having NO stars selected. Not only did this place call like they were bill collectors to CONFIRM an appointment that I had already confirmed, the link that they send does NOT work. My daughter’s appointment was at 8 am. Once at the location, the VERY rude lady at the front desk says “what’s your child’s name?”… no Good Morning, no NOTHING. After I had to repeat the information multiple times, she says, that appointment was cancelled. No call, no nothing, just arriving at an appointment that they basically harassed me about just not to do the same thing for a cancellation first thing in the morning. After going back and forth with her about how I never received any call or email, she simply said have a seat until your next appointment (which was an hour and a half wait) and I’ll send the paperwork to your phone. The company should really take a look at who they have representing their company when people come in for services. We all made a conscious decision to apply for the positions that we are in. Stop allowing your employees to represent your company in a bad way. I will NEVER take my child back to ANY location associated with this company.

Negative experience: This is insane. I have now waited over 6 months for an adult appointment and now they have canceled my third attempt at an appointment without explanation and were unable to reschedule because of zero availability. I showed up for an appointment that was scheduled and confirmed two weeks ago and was told by the front desk that they couldn’t see me because I was scheduled in a child’s appointment time, she was extremely rude me acted like it was my fault that they scheduled me in the wrong appointment block. Rescheduled me for this week and now that appointment has been canceled. Never mind I had already had an appointment in early December that was canceled and rescheduled for February. If you don’t have availability then stop accepting new patients. Don’t claim to schedule them only to keep canceling the appointments after 3 month waits.

Fantastic experience: I loved my experience last Friday. I took my middle child to the location on East Little Creek and everybody was so nice. The best part is that , after a few non pleasant visits to other locations , I was able to feel confident and trust the professionals. The information they gave me was very good and gave me peace of mind. They took the time to answer all my questions and now I feel so good I can start my sons’s treatment well informed and with no concerns.

Negative experience: I am coming from 70 miles away, am handicapped and was refused to be seen when we were LITERALLY 2 minutes late. The ladies at the desk were RUDE and unprofessional and they lost 4 dental patients and 2 orthodontics patients. We begged for them to reconsider and they seemed happy to say NO. They have lost my family as patients. Service has ALWAYS been subpar for the receptionist desk, but now the dentist as well. Unless Asia lied and didn't really even go ask her. I have receipts and plan to go to corporate. I'm not letting this go! Someone will be reprimanded, Asia and Meeka especially, this is not the first time. Appointments were at 3 and 315 pm. As you can see we arrived at 310. I was told their policy was 15 minutes late. They just wanted to cancel. They don't deserve anyone's business.

Negative experience: The root canal experience was horrible. The dental assistant was telling the dentist all of her personal problems while they were working on my root canal. While she was doing that my saliva kept building up and I had to painfully swallow several times because she was so wrapped up in talking to the dentist about her life Also, the dentist got extremely disrespectful in the beginning because she was thrown off by the way I handle pain and I just recommended she comes off a little less aggressive with her approach

Fantastic experience: My first time having a dental service in this branch, the staff are good especially the one who cleaned my teeth.

Negative experience: Too many adults. I hate they switched from just serving children. Impossible to get someone on the phone. The office is chaotic. ALL STAFF NEEDS TO BE RETRAINED

Negative experience: I wish I could give them less stars. I have been going here for 9 years and the front desk staff is rude and condescending. I went in for a routine cleaning with a appointment and the front desk staff said "There's nothing we can do about that" I really need to find a new dentist because the front desk staff here sucks. We went in for X-rays since my wisdom teeth are coming in and the front desk staff didn't even let us check in for my appointment and had my dad schedule a new appointment after he had taken time off for this appointment.

Negative experience: This place has went way down since covid. I've had two appointments canceled, this month alone. First time I was told it was because the dentist went on vacation and only braces were being done. Okay, whatever I rescheduled for 2 weeks out. I got an email with a link to confirm the appointment.But the link never loads. In this email, the link says confirm appointment with the link and their phone number with a message that says call us for any questions. I explained to the lady at the front desk that the link wasn't working.So therefore I could not confirm the appointment, but the blame was placed on me.Telling me I could have called. my response was you could have called me as well. Her next response was, well we sent the email. That statement made me decide im not coming here anymore. I told her dont rescheduled i will found another dentist. Sometime last year, I attempted to find a new dentist because I was tired of coming in for checkups, and being told that the kids need work done, even though they're not working on their adult teeth yet. I've had to decline work two or three times because I deemed it unnecessary, and in my opinion it's only being brought up because insurance will pay for it, not necessarily that it needs to be done, especially when these teeth will fall out when their adult teeth come in. The kids sections of waiting room had been closed down since covid, it appears it's back open but looks more like a shrinks office for kids then a friendly waiting room. One of the pervious times last year there was a wet floor sign in the room where checkups are done due to a leaking roof. Im no longer bringing my kids here it's like visiting a emergency room with how things look and the interactions with staff at front desk. They lack manors,compassion and respect. Im a very patient person but literally cannot take interacting with people at a job they work at while acting like I'm bothering the person to do thier job. The main reason for leaving the office and this review is because of the staff. I will say it one last time visiting this place is like going to the emergency room.

Negative experience: I wish I could give less than zero to ALL SPENCER DENTAL LOCATIONS, they have a terrible service in terms of orthodontics, I have been in the process for more than three years and the last year has undoubtedly been the worst attention they have given me, in addition to the fact that they always cancel my appointments and “reschedule” them again, unfortunately I can no longer change my decision to have done the treatment here but I would not recommend at all to be a patient from here unless you want to waste your time, money, patience among many other things, anyway I have not even seen a drastic change So it has been a loss of everything, especially in the illusion that made me be able to have a better smile, don’t make the same mistake of wasting your time and money in this company that to be honest I still don’t understand how they are still open and how I see good comments around here unless I’m the only one with this serious problem. At first I thought the problem was those of Norfolk and I thought that in Virginia Beach it would get better but it was only the first months, besides they have never had a stable doctor for so long that I already lost track.

Negative experience: I have an appointment dec 22 I had no call to remind me. And I am calling just to know that They have cancel my appointment without noticing to me. and They want me to reschedule in march or April No no no very bad service. I am making any appointments with u anymore

Negative experience: We were first in the office this morning and the front desk lady with glasses was on her personal phone. I walk over to the orthodontist sign in sheet and she said “Yes” not Good Morning but YES. I asked her if she was having a bad morning and she had an attitude. I asked for her supervisor and she was polite. Every time I come into this location that lady has an attitude. Unfortunately I am stuck here until my daughter is able to remove her braces. This is my least favorite location. I will no longer use this location after my daughter’s braces come off. There needs to be better training for front desk staff. Fantastic experience: the people at this place are great and over all a pleasant experience. the only issue i had was i set up my appointment via the call center and when time came for my appointment their system did not have any of my info or even an appointment at all and had to rebook in person.

Negative experience: Had an appointment at 9 AM. I come here and the office is closed, so I try to reschedule but they don't have a slot open until next month. No accommodations for their tardiness, I'm just the one getting screwed over.

Positive experience: Friendly and proficient staff. There is an issue with their process that prevents me from giving 5 stars though. I entered all of my required insurance info online a week prior and they did not verify it until after I arrived in person. I waited 45 minutes for that process to finish before I could have my 15 minute appointment. Other than that I will stress the staff was all amicable and professional.

Positive experience: I went in for an extraction, my tooth was hurting and very rotten. I would split my rating to a perfect 5 (or better) for the doctor who performed the nearly pain free extraction and the really idiotic staff who cannot perform the simplest of paperwork. Recap ; Doctor Outstanding, Assistant also Outstanding, Office workers, needs significant improvement. Would I go there again if I needed to? Yes absolutely!

Negative experience: Very poor service. They tell you to arrive early, but they only attend to you when they feel like it, and if you arrive two or five minutes late, they won't see you. I've been waiting for almost an hour now.

Positive experience: Nice people but if you have a emergency you might as well thug it out because they don't take walk ins and are always booked but even if it seems empty

Positive experience: I went to Spencer Dental today and my appointment was canceled because I was 2 minutes past the 10 minute grace period... it was only 2 minutes. Although I had asked to speak to the supervisor and she made everything better!! She was so sweet and made sure I got the next appointment if they didn't show. I highly recommend being on time because if you don't then you might not get a good cleaning or experience.

Fantastic experience: My family’s experience at Spencer has been great. My adult son has high functioning autism and is a patient there. They are great in communicating with him during procedures and just in general. They are great with all the child patients I see there when we go. They are kind and they are thorough in their dental care. The hygienist Nelly is a delight to work with and the dentist takes his time and seems to care about the patients. They are constantly wiping down and cleaning each time someone leaves a station after receiving services. I really like them. We are staying put!

Positive experience: The staff was helpful. The receptionist was juggling a lot but remained helpful and professional. The wait time wasn’t too bad either

Fantastic experience: Nice and friendly staff.. got my daughter in and out just in time for me to be to work that means a lot to me.. my time is as valuable such as theirs! Awesome

Negative experience: 6 month in advance appointments are made I get a call day of 4 hours prior to my appointment that they’re going to be out at lunch at my appointment time and to come in a hour later. Absolutely ridiculous I work I got childcare lined up for my appointment time. The receptionist said I could come in at my appointment time but no one would be here. I asked why the last two days I got text/email reminders for my appointment if they weren’t going to uphold it. She said they only started going to lunch 3 months ago at that time. So they should have had 3 months to reschedule me! I’ve never seen such unprofessional incompetence. Don’t bother going there completely unreliable! The woman on the phone was the rudest receptionist I’ve ever spoken to.

Fantastic experience: The front desk was amazing and really went above and beyond with helping me with an insurance issue. I believe it was the dental hygienist she made my two girls very comfortable. An now they love the dentist office. Having that little bit of compassion and professionalism is what makes your employees beyond all other dentist offices. Thank you again Spencer Dental Osvaldo Javier Velazquez :)

Fantastic experience: 10s 10s 10s !!!!!! I must’ve picked a great day because it was 10am on a Wednesday and there was barely anyone else in there . The staff were ALL excellent!!! I mean absolutely amazing, super friendly and really really nice ! I feel really seen and heard and can’t wait to go back ! Side note : I’m pregnant and they treated me with great carefree ! Fantastic experience: My visit for an oral exam was quick and the wait time was minimal. The whole visit didn’t take 30 minutes. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Poole was professional as usual. His bedside manner is great. But the highlight today was Lindsay, the nurse. Can't say enough good stuff about her. She reflected Dr. Poole's gentle and relaxing bedside manner. In addition, she was also very informative about the proposed treatment plan, taking time to explain details on how the procedure would typically go.. together, they make a cool team. We always request Dr. Poole. And now, we will add Lindsay to our request list as Nurse.l

Negative experience: The front desk lady is extremely rude , she doesn’t make eye contact with you at all. I made an appointment for a cleaning and received a confirmation, only to be told at the office that my appointment was canceled. My husband had also booked his at the same time. The office manager blamed the call center and could only work one of us in. If the office and call center aren’t working together, why even have one? The lack of communication and accountability is unacceptable. Patients shouldn’t be caught in the middle. Very unprofessional experience.

Negative experience: Took my kid here 1 time! They call me 3 times a day saying that I have an appointment or need to schedule an appt for teeth cleaning. No I DIDNT make any appointments and he dont need his teeth cleaned yet. Quit harassing me. I will be finding another dentist ..

Negative experience: The front desk staff is extremely rude and condescending. Always an attitude and an “I already told you” kind of demeanor. The office isn’t well kept and the bathrooms smell unsanitary. I wouldn’t recommend this office or practice whatsoever if you have other options.

Negative experience: I have been calling since 8 am to speak to the dentist about a prescription for my pain. I was seen yesterday and i have been waiting on my appt for oral surgery all for them to tell me i have to wait a month and this appt was just for the xray. Diabolical. I’ve been in pain all this time and have to continue to suffer because of their negligence.

Fantastic experience: My son came in so scared and they made it tge best most comfortable experience for him. Extremely patient!! He now looks forward to visiting the dentist.

Positive experience: Very satisfied. Grand daughter was having small cavity filled. Front desk was very nice and so was Dr. Boone and his assistant. The filling was professional and quick. the Doctor explained everything as he went and my grand daughter felt very comfortable. Good job so if she's happy I am happy.

Positive experience: My child had a wonderful experience. Staff is super friendly and explained every step to my daughter when she was getting some fillings. The only problem that I have is the lady at the front desk where you reschedule appointments for 6 month cleaning, was not very polite had horrible customer service. Basically shut the paperwork in my face and didn't say have a good day or anything like that. It was like it was an inconvenience for me to ask for a certain day of the week and a time.

Fantastic experience: It was the BEST tooth extraction in my WHOLE life. I did not feel any pain. The Dr and the staff give me an outstanding service before, in the procedure and after it. I'm impress! Thank you!!!!

Fantastic experience: Had a really clean facility out of the four spencer's dentals that I've been gone too. I definitely think it's important for places that practice medicine to practice having clean facilities. And I will say, rhis was the cleanest & the staff was lovely and pleasant. The staff also took x-rays before having me seen by the dentist which I highly recommend. Always make sure they take x rays before they do any work to your teeth and that's for any dentist office. The clinic manager Asia was very kind. I definitely wish there was more clinic. Managers like her operating at the other Spencer dentals. 9 out or 10 Oh, the dentist who's first name, goes by Adam. He was very passionate about what he does , and actually made me feel like he cared about what was going on with my teeth. An the dental assistant that helped him was also amazing.I cannot remember her name but she was awesome.

Fantastic experience: These guys are absolutely wonderful with kids! All of the staff are super engaging with the kids and parents, so much so I switched practices,and now our whole family is see by the same Dental teams. Dr Poole in particular is awesome with my two boys. 5 out 5 definitely recommend

Fantastic experience: While the wait was long, I see why they had me wait so that they could take back all three of my kids at once. My kids loved the clinic and staff energy; they helped making the dentist feel fun and safe.

Positive experience: I like the staff at the front desk and the hygienists. Dr Poole has excellent bedside manner. I am happy to have him as our dentist. The temperature in the front lobby is uncomfortable; it feels 5 degrees too hot. The thermostat is in a bad place (it is next to the front desk where it is a few degrees cooler, because the ceiling is lower in that area.)

Negative experience: So If I could give y’all 0 starts then I would , but unfortunately I can’t . I HATE THEM they are the worst dentist office. My child has Autism and they do not know how to work with kids with a disability. They didn’t have patience with my child , you can see on their face like they were over him . Even when I was giving them tools to help them calm him down when he’s over stimulated, they wasn’t trying to hear me. My son was suppose to get a fill-in on his teeth but the only way they could do it is if they put him to sleep due to his disability. Cool I understand it will over stimulate him if he’s up. I get that. But when they told me I couldn’t go back in the room with him to make sure he’s comfortable (he’s autistic) and I’m explaining to them like “hey he’s not gonna just go with y'all to get his fill-in cause he doesn’t know y'all and he’s not comfortable to just walk with the Doctor to the back” they didn’t care about how that would make my child feel they basically told me well either he goes back there without me or they not gonna do it . Guess what I carried ourselves to another dentist.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing bedside manner. Went above & beyond for us! We had our rowdy toddler with us but they made the experience so much fun for her. Helped us with the confusing paperwork & were very thorough with their explanations. I knew exactly what we needed to do afterwards, no confusion. They were QUICK yet thorough!! Love love love this location!!!

Negative experience: If I could give 0 stars I would. They gave me the wrong address they gave me the other one. Then said I didn’t give you the wrong one but I can move you down the 3 o’clock. But seriously I live an hour away. I have to get back to my baby. And they were just so rude. And I said I don’t think I spoke to you then just hung up on me.

Positive experience: Front desk person to the left when you walk in clearly hates people and her job. Every-time we go in it seems to be an inconvenience. Dentist and hygienist are the only reason I’m giving three stars they deserve five. But when you combine that with the front desk staff, I’m gonna give it a three. Front desk deserves 0. They say we are supposed to get notifications and confirm appointments, but we don’t receive text, call or email. One time we showed, and they canceled appointments because they were only doing surgeries. We did not so much as receive a call. Nothing. Get there and find out. After 8 years of using this place, we are finally done. We will find service else where.
