Negative experience: I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at this dental office, especially because my first visit had gone so well. I initially came in as a new patient for a cleaning and X-rays, and everything went smoothly. The doctor seemed very sweet, and Julie at the front desk was also warm and welcoming. I actually left that first appointment excited to come back and have my teeth whitened. Unfortunately, my second appointment was a completely different experience. I came in for teeth whitening, but during the process, the barrier placed on my gums caused an intense burning sensation. The doctor appropriately decided that we should stop the whitening, which I understood and appreciated. He then suggested doing a temporary mock-up of bonding because he felt my front teeth would look better if they were slightly longer. I agreed, trusting his professional judgment. He applied temporary bonding so I could see what the longer teeth would look like. When he removed the temporary bonding, he chipped one of my actual front teeth, which already had bonding on it that had been done previously for cosmetic purposes. What was most upsetting was that he initially appeared ready to let me leave with my tooth chipped. I had to point out that my actual tooth had been damaged. At that point, his demeanor changed, and he seemed irritated. He attempted to repair the tooth with additional bonding, but the result was visibly uneven and the tooth now looks shorter than the other front tooth and uneven. These are my FRONT TEETH. This was not a minor area that could easily be overlooked—it directly affected my smile and my appearance. What I find particularly troubling is that the doctor had emphasized his experience with cosmetic dentistry, yet after damaging my existing front-tooth bonding during a procedure he recommended, the repair he provided was uneven and visibly different from what I had before. When I expressed my concern, I was essentially told that this was “the best he could do.” I was uncomfortable with the way the situation was handled and honestly felt intimidated to even express my concerns further to the doctor because his demeanor completely changed. I went to the front desk and spoke with Julie, who I had previously thought was wonderful. Unfortunately, rather than receiving empathy or having someone take ownership of what had happened, I was met with silence while the nurse explained that there would be no charge and that the doctor felt this was “the best he could do.” There was no apology, no acknowledgment of how upsetting this was for me, and no meaningful discussion of how the issue could be resolved. I ultimately left the office in tears. Things can go wrong in any medical or dental office. What matters is how a professional handles the situation when something does go wrong. In my case, I felt that my concerns were dismissed after the doctor damaged my front tooth during a procedure I had agreed to based on his recommendation. As a brand-new patient, I am extremely disappointed. I went into this office excited about continuing my dental care there, and I left feeling embarrassed, upset, and anxious about my smile. I would strongly encourage anyone considering cosmetic dental work to make sure they feel completely comfortable with the dentist and confident in how the office handles complications before proceeding.

Fantastic experience: I accomplanied my husband on a consultation with Dr. Geleris for bridge work he needs to have done. We were looking for a dentist that was in-network with our insurance plan and we were also looking for a local dentist in the city we live. The consultation was thorough and Dr. Geleris was friendly and professional. Additionally, his front desk team and dental assistant team were friendly and helped to make us feel very welcoming. Fantastic experience: Being stuck in traffic is no fun! I got on the freeway to go to my appointment, 30 minutes before time, only to be stuck in traffic. After several frantic calls explaining the situation the office staff told me to come in anyway. It was 40 minutes before I could get off the freeway to take an alternate route. The staff was courteous and professional once I arrived. The hygienist was extremely courteous, understanding, fast and efficient, even though I’d showed up 30 minutes late! She cleaned my teeth and finished only 15 minutes past my original appointment time. WOW, now that’s service! I love this dental office!

I was experiencing sore gums and tooth sensitivity and, with new insurance, I was nervous about my 1st visit to new Dentist…until I saw Dr. Joseph Geleris, DDS. The Office staff was friendly and welcoming. Dr. Geleris was so informative, put a plan together, and was honest about saving money by not doing unnecessary procedures. Nancy, dental hygienist, did an amazing cleaning, despite the pain, and I immediately felt relief. Today was my 2nd visit for a deep cleaning. Again, Nancy was gentle, numbing was tolerable and wore off within hours. My teeth are clean and ready to continue healing! I’m so glad I chose Dr. Geleris to be my new Dentist! Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Great service, from the time I got there until I left, staff was very friendly and professional, even though I am not a current patient, the Dr. spoke to me and was very friendly. I had gone in for a Zoom teeth whitening, and from the initial call, even though they were booked, they made room to see me as requested. Sara was awesome! She did the Zoom treatment, allowed me to put on a movie, brought me a blanket as I was cold, and was very professional explaining the procedure. I have great results, and will be returning for some teeth straightening procedures, great overall experience!
