Negative experience: 5 of the 6 fillings I had done have had to be replaced due to them falling out. Very disappointed. Was told I could come back and they would redo them.... then was told I would need to pay for the replacements. NOPE you messed up the first time, im not paying you to do them again. NEVER AGAIN WILL I TRUST YOU.
Negative experience: Never call my meds in to the pharmacy I’ve gone to Walgreens 5 separate days and I never get meds called in no matter how many times I say something. I’ve had a tooth infection for months. I switched dentists to here and i seriously regret it. They don’t care if it kills me or not. They want your insurance money or to tax you with a finance. And they treat you terribly. Especially the actual dentists. Terrible service. They will let you suffer 9 times out of 10

I have returned for a crown replacement and filing. They did an excellent job on a front crown. Another dentist had told me I had to have implants! Dr. Nadia Spirit and Jen fixed it with a crown!
Fantastic experience: Everyone in the building is so welcoming and friendly, from the receptionist, dental assistant, hygienist, doctor & Stacy! I walked in nervous due to not having been to the dentist in awhile and Selena immediately made me feel very comfortable. Other assistants who weren’t even assigned to me made me laugh and forget where I was. They gave me a break down of pricing which made it easy for me to decide what was most to least important to do concerning my teeth! Aspen on Miller rd is a must for dental hygiene and work!

Negative experience: If I could give them a negative amount of stars I would!! Worst experience ever!! Totally took advantage of me and my insurance. They charged me over $3000 on work on my teeth some and stuff I didn’t know they were even doing until it was done. And filling they did was so bad I went for a second opinion and the other dentist apologized for their horrible work. I hope no one will ever go there!!
Fantastic experience: If you are going to the G3538 Miller Rd. Branch i would 100% recommend Joseph Nagia. I feel safe saying I hate going to the dentist and most people do for many different reasons I was traumatized by a few different dentists through the years and or just disgusted by them with absolutely no personality or just not caring at all one of those people that is a watch looker as you're talking to them they're staring at their watch because you're wasting their time but with Joseph Nagia it was a whole different experience he actually sat down face to face explained everything in great detail asked me how my day was then asked me if there was anything else that I had questions about with my teeth or any other problems or concerns that I could think of never looked at his watch one time and while he was working on my mouth he was very light handed and just the all-around sweet nice kind gentleman I can't say enough good things about him so if you go there I would definitely request him the only thing I did not like about my experience had nothing to do with him it was how they did x-rays you stand in a room with the door open and they put things in your mouth and then run in and out of the room with the door open so if 20 people walk by every single person looks in and stares at you as this is happening which didn't so much bother me but I know how some people are and they are not going to like that part of it either but other than that the secretaries the billing the trainees and the doctor were all fantastic I hope that helps in making your decision and yes there was a couple things as I said I didn't like but I'm giving a five-star strictly for Joseph Nagia

Positive experience: My bottom plate teeth need to be adjusted.....they are rubbing the bone spurs to be uncomfortable...i put them in and it was used to getting used 2 again....but I tried eating and couldn't eat with the bottom plates.....I will call in the morning to see if you have any openings..

Negative experience: Majority of my first visit (about an hour and 10 minutes) was waiting for the dentist, which took about 30 minutes and he looked in my mouth for 25 seconds though maybe he used the 20 X-rays they took. Xray sreas kinda lacked privacy, got my first xray with ability to make eye contact with someone in the waiting room.
Fantastic experience: For me this was a great experience. From the initial phone call to leaving with a care package. Everyone was friendly and very helpful. They communicated the work to be done and cost in detail. Very positive overall experience. I am glad I found them. Update-every aspect of my experience was great. Fantastic experience: Aspen dental on Miller Rd. In Owasso Michigan, was SO wonderful helping my mom out on getting new dentures. Her old ones were lost while she was in the Hospital. She went two months without getting new ones because of Transferring records from West Virginia to Michigan. But finally after all the paperwork was here, Aspen dental took care of her and got her a new set in a matter of days and they were so very kind to her every step of the way. They put a great big smile on her face which has been months since we've seen her smile so big. She had an accident in July and has been in hospitals and rehab ever since. But thanks to the very nice people at Aspen dental She has new faith and encouragement to keep getting stronger.
Negative experience: Changing my review after finding out I needed a retreat on not one, but TWO root canals done by Dr. Halk. He doesn't do retreats either due to being a traveling endodontist, so I had to pay all over again for BOTH. Sloppy root canals with no X-Rays before or after. Some roots were missed completely.

Negative experience: I've had my new top denture for 6 months now and can't wait until I can get a new one. My fits terrible , is very painful and almost impossible to eat with. My bite is incorrect and the denture falls down while trying to eat. Very unhappy. My denture needs to be replaced at there expense.
Negative experience: Waited all that time , just to be told the office manager was done for The day will call me tomorrow. The dentist spent a whopping 4 minute with me talking about implants, which I can not afford never even went over my x ray total time spent with dentist 5 minutes max I think I'm making a big mistake using them? I'm not comfortable at all felt like a assembly line, not a doctors visit!! I'm thinking of looking elsewhere from my dentures, not happy with them. They actually scare me! Well day two no calls from them again today about my dentures, not even a call from the office manager, who was to call me the next day!!!!!

Negative experience: I went to aspen because of the ads saying they were affordable. They did the exam, including x-rays and a gum check at a reasonable price. They told me my gums were in bad shape, and the numbers were mostly fours and fives with I believe a couple of sixes thrown in there, which is the worst. They told me i had bone loss. I was puzzled, because my gums never bleed when i brush my teeth. They told me i needed a special cleaning at a cost of over $1900! I asked for just a regular cleaning and the lady said the hygienist would lose her license doing that. I left. I went to another dentist and did not tell them about aspen, just to see what they would say. My gums were fine, no bone loss. The numbers were all ones, twos, and threes, with a few fours in one area. I had a regular cleaning for a fraction of the cost. Geez. There's more, but I think this is enough to explain why I would have given zero stars if I could.
Negative experience: I needed to have repair work done twice due to product failure within 3 years. When I inquired about reinforcements to prevent future failures I was told it would cost me an additional $300.00.

Negative experience: I was told they take my insurance away few months ago. I put my insurance information in online. After that it said I was all set for my appointment that was scheduled for Today. I get there this morning at 11am. Once I was inside the office the 2 ladies acted like we was in a foreign country like they hadn’t seen a person my color before. Finally she greeted me and ask for my drivers license and insurance card. I gave it to her I stood there for a minute then she slide my insurance card towards me and said we don’t take your insurance. It would have been nice to know that when I made my appointment online that they didn’t take my insurance. I should have made it to my appointment a few months ago I guess when they claimed they took my insurance. Smh
Positive experience: This was not a appointment for me, this was my husband's. Why it came to me unsure. This is his review : Left very confused, wasn't quite sure why hadn't gotten the appointment with the specialist I had thought I was going to be seeing. Left office with nothing more than a time of next appointment. I need to update review, after speaking with the office manager Stacey she was able to explain everything to me, what type of dentist would be seeing him and doing the procedure. Now that the correct information was given to me it is much better hopefully all goes well when the tooth is pulled.

Negative experience: I am deeply disappointed with the service I received today. I had scheduled a cleaning and confirmed it multiple times before my appointment. Upon arrival, I was scheduled for X-rays and a consultation regarding my teeth, which require several fillings and a partial implant. I am currently waiting for an office manager to discuss the treatment plan. During this time, the staff is uncertain whether my insurance will cover the necessary treatments. Despite this uncertainty, they proceeded with the X-rays in an unconventional manner, disregarding my original request to avoid the procedure. Consequently, I have decided not to return to this dental office and would not recommend it to anyone with state insurance. The staff appears to prioritize maximizing their revenue over providing the desired service. As a result of my dissatisfaction, I have filed a grievance with my insurance company, requesting that they refrain from processing the claim due to the unfulfilled service.
Positive experience: If you are interested in a very high tech consultation, being told everything you need to do and are ready to pay thousands of dollars to get the ball rolling, this is your place. If you want to just start with a teeth cleaning, like you would normally get at a dentist, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Assistant Manager would not even tell how much a teeth cleaning would cost!

Negative experience: This place is SOOOOOOOO bad. Stacy, the "manager" is rude and scatterbrained. They checked wrong insurance, CHARGED us according to the "lesser" insurance. I tried to help her understand their error but she just talk and talks and apparently she is an "RN" which must mean something to her bc she felt the need to use that as some sort of ammunition against the fact she made a mistake. Eventually after a few conversations I just gave up and we will just wait until our insurance processed the claim then request a refund from this incompetent lot. The surgeon we had came from out of town so naturally they stood apart from the incompetence of the clerical staff and did great work. But after surgery we had to call to seek some medical advice because of excessive bleeding and the office staff was so rude, yet again. She said "you can bring your son back in". I said we are an hour away, can I just ask for some advice? She said "from who, the doctor". I said "yes" and there was a long pause before she just put me on hold without a word then the doctor came on the line. The doctor was kind and informative and a breath of fresh air but WOW. We will never go back here. I feel bad for people who HAVE to go here. Such rude, inconsiderate people. Im not a difficult person folks so believe me when I tell you, find a different place. This place is awful.

Fantastic experience: I will forever sing the praises of this office. My husband had been to three dentist offices to get work done and been pushed off and told it wasn’t that bad. This office got us in, got him out of pain, made a plan for the future, and created an affordable payment plan for him. The staff is incredibly nice. We felt so comfortable, and seen here.
Fantastic experience: Aspen has been the best dentist office I’ve been to as far as dentist offices go. Dr Hondo was able to numb my upper teeth with ZERO pain. Today was the first root canal operation of a molar tooth that had zero pain. They really go above and beyond and I pay out of pocket to go to them because my employer’s insurance doesn’t cover me for them. I highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: Very friendly and caring staff who make sure to take of you the best they possibly can. Always in and out very quickly during appointments and they make sure to communicate very well, along with going the extra mile to make sure that you are happy with results.
Positive experience: Very great. I just got their at 12:45 and left at 3:30. Just for consultation! No services done. Simply too long! Also the hygienist came in and helped with periodontal exam. She never said who she was and left. I found that very rude! I said something to the person who was waiting on me!

Negative experience: Worst experience ever!! I got a tooth extracted Friday July 25th and I have been in pain ever since. They did not prescribe me and pain meds antibiotics or anything. I have literally been in pain since the day I left. I followed up with my dentist office and she told me she couldn’t even tell what was going on it was so bad and that my mouth is infected she advised that I followed up with Dr.Nausea because that’s who extracted the tooth. I went in and they literally did nothing!!! Luckily I got ibuprofen and penicillin from going to the emergency room from the pain!! This is really unbelievable seeing how I’m still in pain it hurts to eat, swallow, talk!!!! I can’t even sleep at night and they just sent me home like nothing happened I definitely DON’T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.
Negative experience: My Husband had his teeth removed for full dentures. The surgery was horrific, my husband was awake and heard the whole surgery process to even the surgeon on top of his chest as they were removing his teeth. Before the surgery I told the doctor and the nurse that it takes a long time for him to come out of anesthesia. They ended up pulling my husband by his jaw and ears out of the chair into a wheel chair and telling him he is taking to long and its time for him to go. When I got my husband home probably an hour, they bleeding was so bad it was gooshing out , I took him back to Aspen Dental on Miller Road in Flint, MI. They said he shouldn't be bleeding this much and said it must be the medicine that he has Not taken in two months and the office manager said the best thing would also be to take him to ER. When we arrived at the ER the automatically put him in a room due to the blood that was flowing out of him mouth even though all the towels we tried to put pressure. Due to the amount of blood the doctors could not see where all the blood was coming from. They thought he never was stiched up based on the amount of blood, it took 3 treatments to slow the bleeding and 2 shot of pain medicine before the doctors could review. Some stiching was not done and they believe the majority of the blood came from a whole in his upper jaw. Its been a month and still his temp dentures still do not fit, he has lost 15 pounds since he can't eat solid food. He has had to take vacation days to get multiple impressions trying to get the temps to fit in his mouth and stay which still has not happen. In reviewing Better Business Bureau complaints on this company I have also filed a compliant and filed a complaint with both my and my husbands dental insurance companies. This is true a horrible service especially when dentures are what they are known for. SIX months later told he would have his permanent dentures, took a day off Work AGAIN to find out another impression had to be done, then put holes and cracked his temporary denture which he paid for. Then had to schedule another appointment and leave work early to find out the impression that they took doesn't even line up and like its NOT even his impression that they took.No wonder this company cant get credited by the BBB.

Negative experience: Worst experience I have ever had. I went in last week for a toothache and ended up needing an extraction. Went back 2 days later for that. Have been in 10x more pain than I was my first visit and had to go back yesterday cause I know there is something wrong. Dentist said not much he could do but did say he was sending an antibiotic and something for the pain. Nothing was sent to my pharmacy, I called 10 minutes before closing and had the closed office message. I have not slept in 3 nights due tot he pain and am now going to a different dentist today to be looked at. I will never go back to this office again. Not to mention, they overcharge and really try to rack up your bill. It felt like I was at a used car dealership not a dentist.

I came in severe pain and the dentist was more focused on running up my insurance tab of what possibly could occur in future versus what was going on at the time! Negative experience: I feel bad writing a bad review but I need to share my experience. I hadn’t been to a dentist in years so I chose a random dentist near me. I came in, got work done, and got a hefty bill. My insurance wasn’t covering much at all. So now I have another credit bill over a thousand dollars. Went back again several times for some issues and everytime I would see a different dentist who gave me a different opinion every time. So I was getting confused on stuff and I just felt not right about the place. Went somewhere for a second opinion and I get told I don’t need as much work done as what aspen dentist had said. Also at my new dentist I’m not walking out with a thousand dollar bill, turns out my insurance does cover things. Aspen is ridiculously expensive. I only had 1 good experience there with a younger dentist and hygienist but most times I went so many things just made me mad or felt not cared for. Also since I Decided to go somewhere else I cancelled my appointments with aspen but they already charged me on my care credit for the stuff I was going to get done and they told me they would send over my refund but never did. Why would I even be charged in the first place before the stuff even happened??
Fantastic experience: Oh my goodness!!! The staff at the Flint location on Miller Rd were absolutely amazing!!!! My husband had an emergency (sudden onset of severe toothache) and we were able to go online and set up an emergency appointment for the next morning. The women at the front desk greeted us with smiles and very friendly. The MA was just the sweetest young lady.. very caring and understanding. The doctor explained everything to my husband and was very nice. We had a very pleasant experience! Everything went very smoothly!!!!!
Positive experience: If you have plenty of time on your hands this is the place. I mentioned to the staff when I made the appointment my mother had dementia and she gets confused easy .I would appreciate not having to wait very long. They said no problem. It took 45 minutes to get seated and another 30 minutes to get examined.
Fantastic experience: My first visit was amazing! I received all the help that I needed from getting x-rays, to a detailed plan and payment options. I was also able to get my teeth cleaned. I couldn't have asked for more! I'm very satisfied and would recommend Aspen to everyone I know!

Fantastic experience: Staff was absolutely amazing. The best experience I've had at a dentist. I couldn't be happier. They really went above and beyond to make sure I got what I needed and take care of me. I highly recommend aspen dental. I left crying with tears of joy.
Fantastic experience: Well my experience today was very confusing! I felt like the aid and Dr. didn’t know what they were doing! (Saying) in the back! But other then this today my visits have been great! I really like the front office ladies. Stacy is very helpful in solving things
Positive experience: Friendly, thorough, x-rays. Didn't like the price to purchase a water pik ($200.00) from Aspen so I turned it down and I ordered a water pik system from Walmart for $59.00. Walmart has a variety of water pik systems with many price choices $9.00 up to $143.00. I am concerned about the sticker shock even after applying my dental insurance and for Care Credit card to make payments.
Negative experience: I made this appointment for a root canal with their call center. I confirmed my appointment online. A day before my scheduled appointment I was asked to call to confirm my appointment with the office. When I called, they told me they don’t do root canals anymore. She said their call center is aware of this. Clearly they are not. I waited all that time and must wait now for another location to have an opening. This is a terrible oversight for an emergency procedure that is causing me constant pain, and using a call center for scheduling is not ideal. I will never call Aspen Dental again.
Fantastic experience: OMG, I am so overly happy with my experience at Aspen Dental on Miller Rd. in Flint, everyone was VERY nice and understanding of my situation, can't say enough good things about all of them, thank you Aspen Dental!!!

Fantastic experience: The surgeon was absolutely amazing and the team made it all the better. I definitely felt seen and heard when it came to my fears and they didn't make me feel bad for my fears instead they just made me feel more safe. Amazing staff and team. Just 36 hours since surgery and loving my smile already.
Fantastic experience: Went to Aspen dental in Flint Michigan today, 2/19/25. They were very courteous, explained everything to me in detail, I would recommend 10/10. Wish I would of went there sooner. Everyone was amazing
Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience with aspen dental everyone was super nice and caring the dentist explain my case and made sure I understood what I needed and the boss of the clinic helped so sweet she went out her way to help me with my referral and made sure I had an appointment with the next I would recommend them a hundred times
