Fantastic experience: Dr. Michelle and her team are so great with my toddler. Her first visit was at age 1 was stressful for me, but she guided me through it and made the tough parts very quick. Her second appointment at age 2 was fantastic! They have wonderful pictures of fish on the walls, engaging movies on the tv, and a fun prize at the end. So glad I found them!

Negative experience: I was told twice that the sdf could be buffed away from my child's teeth; arrive at my appointment, the dentist didn't even look at my child's teeth and was told there's nothing that can be done. A waste of time.

When my son was a single digit, I had difficulty finding a dentist who could handle his extreme sensitivity to the dental tools, until I found Dr. Wilson! My son is 15 going on 16 now!! I strongly recommend Dr. Wilson!!!

Her front desk staff is just as incredible — they’re always kind, helpful, and willing to work with my schedule to make sure we are taken care of. I would travel 1 hour or more just to see Dr. Stovall because the level of care she provides is truly unmatched. Highly recommend her and her entire team!

As a parent of a special needs child, I’m always anxious about dental visits, but the staff was incredibly patient, kind, and professional from start to finish. The dental hygienist did an amazing job cleaning my child’s teeth—gentle, reassuring, and attentive to his needs. Dr. Wilson-Banks was phenomenal. She took the time to explain everything, provided a thoughtful plan of care, and made our first visit feel painless and manageable. I’m truly grateful for the care and compassion we received, and I highly recommend this office to families—especially those who need a supportive, understanding pediatric dental team.

Negative experience: Nunca en la vida había hecho a una de mis hijas lo que hicieron aquí, yo llevaba a mi hija aquí y tenían que extraerle una muela infectada ellos teniendo radiografías vienen y comerán la estupidez de sacarle el diente equivocado, me enojé tanto que hasta el día de hoy estoy traumado de pensar el sufrimiento que pasó mi hija de 5 años, yo les enseñé la muela que ella tenía dolor, y aún así cometieron ese error tan grande y dijeron que la niña había dicho que ese diente le dolía, cuando se supone que ellos son doctores y ya tenían en la radiografía que mostraba la muela que estaba infectada. Me arrepiento de haber llevado a mi hija a lakes pediatric, la otrobquebpaso es que se supone que ellos no sientan dolor porque por eso les aplican anestesia sin embargo mi hija en el momento que ella empezó a extraer ellos diente mi hija lloraba de dolor. Horrible tengo tanto enojo con esta doctora que no logro mejorar. Por favor si amas a tus hijos no los lleves ahí mucha desorganización la doctora por tener muchos pacientes al mismo tiempo quiere hacer las cosas rápido que ni siquiera se fija en lo que hace. Gracias a Dios encontré un lugar excelente que desde que llevé a mi hija ellos localizaron la muela infectada le dieron antibiótico y en la siguiente cita le extrajeron la muela mi hija se sintió cómoda y no lloró. Espero no le pase a nadie más ya que los que son padres comprenderán el sufrimiento de ver a un hijo pasar por algo así.

Negative experience: My kids love this dentist but recently the treatment I’ve received by the staff is ridiculous. I called and canceled all three of my children’s appointments as I was having issues getting them there, they only canceled two and tried to continue to tell me one appointment was missed. They contacted me to follow up with the reschedule of these appointments and I told them I’m only able to get there certain days and I was told they would speak with the doctors about moving my kids from one to another to accommodate us. It’s been two weeks and haven’t heard anything. The level of unprofessionalism with the front desk staff makes it hard to even over look to continue to deal with this office

Negative experience: Poor experience with this office. They were disorganized and lost the referral even though they said they had received it. I felt talked down to during the appointment because my son was scared and not super cooperative. I expected more for a pediatric office who should be used to little kids being scared.

Fantastic experience: After been disappointed with my daughter’s dentist, finally I decided to search in google for her new dentist and I found Laurel Lakes Pediatrician Dentistry, I called and got an appointment. Since that phone call I feel good vibes, they settle our appointment so quickly, when we arrived to the clinic the receptionist was very nice helping me with the doubts I had. We wait no more that 15 minutes(there was the ⭐️⭐️nd star) while we walk through the hallway everything look nice, clean and neat. The equipment looks new and updated. The lady who called my daughter to get her X-rays, was very gentle and nice, I didn’t ask for translation but she recognized that we spoke in Spanish she was spoken to and very nice girl. My daughter wasn’t complain at all. When the doctor canes, she was very clear, she explained very good all our concerns and doubts. I just had the enough time to observe the installations and honestly I did not expect what I see and how they treated us. I asked to my daughter if she likes her new dentist? She was smiling and answer “yes”. This place exceeded my expectations. I’m highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️x1000 Happy teeth

Negative experience: Terrible experience. The dentist was rude and even her own staff, (dental hygienist) was confused as to her demeanor and attitude. Zero accountability, or reassurance. There are several practices in this area. I implore you to choose someone else.

Fantastic experience: Friendly staff and you are seen promptly. Dr. Stovall is great! She is very patient and explains everything. She answers your questions and makes the children feel comfortable and at ease. My daughter is no longer nervous about going to the dentist.

Negative experience: This dentist is okay nothing special but the girls in the front tend to have an attitude. Especially the Hispanic girl with short hair, I’ve come in multiple times with my niece and daughter and have corrected them about not being my nieces mom atleast two times before my third visit where I didn’t bother to correct them because it’s quite irritating having to correct them every single time and this time they had realized because my sister came later in the appointment and she had so much attitude saying we “can’t be doing that” and were very loud with other patients in the room, as if we were in the wrong because they can’t remember faces or names ? No. Haven’t gone back and won’t be going back, it’s not just about being nice to our kids that we bring in but also the adults we’re not children we can tell when somebody is being rude or has an attitude.

Negative experience: Terrible experience with the front desk staff. I have been trying to get a hold of them for WEEKS. Once I finally got to talk to someone, they tell me they are going to call me back, and they never did. I called a couple of times after that with a promise of a call back and no one ever reached out to me. I have been trying to get questions answered about a billing issue and no one seems to have answers. The woman I spoke to over the phone was no help, she couldn't even explain the charges or where my payments were going towards. Not to mention she was giving me so much attitude the entire time. I asked to speak to the dentist, and they once again told me I would receive a call back. No one has called... All they do is ignore me. I will no longer be bringing my child here, nor will I recommend to anyone who is in Laurel, MD.

Fantastic experience: I brought my children Azariah and Zechariah to the dentist. The staff including dentist, dentist assistant, and front desk were very friendly and expressed genuine concern for my children ! They eased my children’s anxiety about going to the dentist and made it a more pleasant experience! I made appointments for my other children. I am so glad that I brought them to Laurel Lakes Pediatric Dentist!!! I have made this my home dentist office for my babies!! I highly recommend!!! Had another visit that my babies had to get extractions and I can tell you that this is the best pediatric dentist practice that I have ever been. Very caring to my children. They made them feel relaxed and calm during their dental procedures!!!

Fantastic experience: The experience for my 9 year old was wonderful! He had not been to the dentist in a while, ashamed to say how long. He had two cavities and needed crowns. Everything went well. He experienced no pain and felt positive about the experience. This is now his dentist!

Fantastic experience: Doctor Holmes was very thorough very knowledgeable. You can tell she has a wealth of experience. She was even showing one of her staff how to make sure the work that my daughter needed was done efficiently. I wish I’d taken my my daughter to see her sooner. very down to earth and professional. She showed that she cared about her clients.

Fantastic experience: Inviting and friendly office for children. The front office staff was friendly and kids were having a fun time waiting for service. Dr. Stoval treated my son with kindness and care. I appreciated how she explained the cleaning process and paused to check in with me and my son as the teeth cleaning went on. My only feedback is to invite more of a conversation for oral care, I generally do not prefer physicians to tell me to google an issue for research. It is easy to go down a rabbit hole and my preference is to have a conversation that supplements my research.

Fantastic experience: My granddaughter was very nervous and Dr.wilson is really good at calming her patients and reassuring them . She's the best!!!!! If you have a young child or a going teen this is the spot to go. You won't find anyone better.

Fantastic experience: Dr Wilson-Banks is always pleasant, timely, and has a fantastic bedside manner. My daughter, who is almost four, has been her patient since she was one, and she always looks forward to going to see her.

Fantastic experience: Everyone at this dentist office was very friendly and kind. My 7 yr old daughter had to get a fill in my daughter was nervous. The staff and Dr. Stovall did an amazing job on making my daughter feel comfortable. A couple hours later Dr. Stovall called to check in on how my daughter was doing make sure you check them out.

Negative experience: Seems like 90% of the staff just hates their job. Receptionists never smile, not even at the kids. The dentist is impatient, my son had to get a tooth extracted and my then 5 year old was terrified. I helped hold his hands down, there was no countdown or anything she just yanked it as I was mid question. Then recently I took him for a cleaning, directly after school where he had lunch. The dentist tried to scold me because he had food in his teeth and it was morning time ( too early for food in his teeth is what was said.) and again, no smile , no engagement with my son no nothing. I’m confused as to why the staff chose to work with kids when it’s clear they don’t even like them.

Fantastic experience: I had been having difficulties getting my 3 year old the services she needed. Dr Wilson came in, looked and committed to trying which noone else did. She tried and succeeded and it was so seamless. I'm greatful we have a new dentist

My children had a fit because having work done on their teeth its new and their not use to it, im hoping the more we go he will get used to it. Fantastic experience: My first time visiting the facility , it was very clean and the staff was super friendly . Loved everything about the location and the dentist, she was was very attentive to all my concerns and questions ..... Update, I recently took th boys for some dental work and it was AMAZING !!! Dr. Stovall was super gentle and kind with the kids , she and her assistant did a wonderful and seamless job. They didn't miss a beat when it came to ensuring my sons were comfortable every step of the way. You can tell she really loves what she does and she's really good at it !!!

Fantastic experience: This was my daughter’s first dentist experience. Before we went she was crying and saying that she was scared of the dentist. That all changed when we walked through the doors at Laurel Lakes Pediatric Dentistry. The staff were all so nice, wait was minimal, the waiting area was nice and clean and kept her plenty entertained. Our experience from start to finish was just amazing. More than I expected. The doctor and xray tech were so patient with my daughter who also has speech difficulties. I'm grateful for offices like this for my daughter. My daughter even hugged one of the assistants. Extra special thank you to the front desk receptionist, she was so warm and loving toward my child. 10/10 recommend!!

Negative experience: I brung my son here during the “Covid era”, when I booked his appointment they got his birthdate mixed up. So when we came in and they realized he was 3 instead of 4, they all grunted as if they were annoyed to have to deal with a younger child. Wouldn’t recommend, because as uncomfortable as you were to do your job, imagine how uncomfortable I was as a mom taking her child to his first dentist appointment having to interact with a dentist who was snappy, impatient and rude. Then they were rude to his dad because he didn’t hear them state that only one parent was allowed back. The whole appointment took about three minutes.

Negative experience: The dentist seemed to be in a rush. My son had a cracked tooth and I read of her pulling the rest out she told us my son could just wiggle the rest out and get it out himself. I’ve never experienced that before.
