I recently had two retained baby canine teeth extracted and the first stage of my dental implant treatment completed, and I couldn't be happier with the care I received. Dr. Joobani and his team were professional, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout the entire process. After placing the implant posts, they took detailed scans and X-rays for my permanent teeth and provided a custom temporary appliance with replacement teeth so I could leave the office with a complete smile while my implants heal. That level of planning and attention to detail was greatly appreciated. The entire staff was friendly, efficient, and clearly committed to delivering excellent results. It's obvious that Joobani Dental Designs combines advanced technology with exceptional patient care. If you're considering dental implants or other complex dental work, I highly recommend Dr. Joobani and his team. Negative experience: Went to get a filling redone on my front tooth. Needed to take off my retainer to do it. Totally makes sense. Then they wouldn’t put it back on until they filled cavity’s in back of my mouth. None of my teeth hurt so no I’m not getting those filled. Now I will need to get braces to fix the movement because they lied about needing to do back fillings before they could put it on…anyone know of a dentist not just trying to make money?

I feel very comfortable and never feel like the staff is trying to drum up business. Often times, the Dr. will say we are watching a tooth, but for now we will hold. I recently broke a tooth while I was away and their first concern was of my comfort level and getting me seen as soon as I returned home. Negative experience: I’m afraid to say I had a very negative experience here. The doctor told me I had two cavities but did not perform adequate due diligence - she made the determination without feeling the hardness of the enamel. She then recommended a filling. I was suspicious so I went for a second opinion. The other doctor said that the things she was looking at were likely stains. She also said that they were so small that if they were a cavity, it would be better to attempt remineralizing them. It appears to me that Joobbani was making a recommendation to fill the cavity based on a desire to drum up insurance billings, not based on what would lead to the best patient outcomes. Edit: I absolutely was a patient, even though Joobbani tried to respond saying otherwise.

Fantastic experience: I and my son came here to the office in Columbia MD for cleaning. Dr Jennifer Joobbani worked so thoroughly and vigorously remove all the plaque buil-up on my teeth, that I had actually clapsed my hands together to stabilize myself for the duration that I had been subjected to, and I appreciate that excellent service on this memorable occasion, because two or three hours later I could hardly chew my Foods, a lunch I and my son bought from a nearby vendor. So, my jaws are okay after few more hours and back to normal. I actually became a client here since the Fall 2015, so in few more months that will be 10 years, but my son came here about a year ago.

Scheduling an appointment was easy, there were no issues with confirming insurance coverage and the day of my appointment, I was warmly greeted. While my appointment was with Dr Jennie, I also met her husband. During the actual appointment, I felt comfortable asking questions and Dr Jennie and I came up with a plan to address my dental needs. I wish I would have started coming here ages ago but so very happy that I'm here now.

Fantastic experience: This clinic is absolutely more focused on patient well-being and health, rather than just profts staff is always so amazing, kind, and helpful. They are willing to answer all questions, no matter how small. And when I ask for more in-depth details (because I'm that person who always does, lol), they are patient and informative with clear explanations. Dr Jennifer especially is great about giving you feedback and suggestions without being condescending or guilting you (unlike other dentists I've had). Keema in billing is fantasic. She too will easily and kindly break down financial details into more digestable information. Their receptionist (I forget her name, sorry) never misses a beat when managing incoming phone calls, responding to clinic texts, checking in patients arriving, checking out patients leaving, etc. I've moved arou.d between several different states and constant cities. And this is absolutely in my top two of best dentistry clincis I've ever used.

Fantastic experience: First time here from a referral, and I have to say everything was excellent, from the hygienist, Dentist and administrator. For me this was the first time having all the options fully explained and detailed. Everyone was professional and knowledgeable and friendly. 2nd Visit Dr Joobbani worked a miracle, he reconstructed a back molar that was literally mostly destroyed. 3rd visit he pulled a tooth with a broken root, performed a bone reconstruct....in the dark the POWER went off (not his fault) it was a complete success. I can say this with confidence Ive been around for a while and experienced many dentists and Dr Joobbani is the best, hes driven, extremely talented, professional, bed side manner is impeccable and hes down to earth. I look forward to all my dental work being done here. If anyone needs confirmation of these events please reach out. Once again today 10- 05-23 Dr Jobbani fixed my emergency...crown fell out, he was able to see me the same day....thank you Dr..and the entire staff!!! Update- 5-6-24, Implant King? Fantastic experience: Whole family has been visiting his practice for years (over two decades). Best dentist around and staff is phenomenal! Love them all. Fast, courteous and no pain. I saw one negative comment about billing and Keema here and felt I needed to update my post. As I have said My entire family and I have been going here since my boys were born (now 25 & 21) and we moved here from Southern California. Keema has always been pleasant and nice to everyone. Gives great hugs! She has consistently worked with me to address billing questions or concerns, and has always been accommodating regarding payment plans and insurance. I have had several jobs with different insurance over the years and the practice has always always worked with me. I work in I.T. here in DELMARVA; so our hours haven’t always matched, but I am willing to take the entire day off to be able to visit Dr. Joobbani’s office. Just read most of the comments here. We have even shared vacation photos between us all. I mentioned S. CA. so you might understand the high quality of his work; while good looking, I am not vain but still want to look the best I can.

Positive experience: Fine initial routine dental visit. However, since a dentist’s office (or any business that is patient or customer facing), I find it quite unfortunate neither the receptionist nor the dental assistant greeted me by saying their names. Like (after I gave my name to receptionist) wouldn’t it have been nice to to hear something like, “…good morning, Mr Gorman, MY NAME IS…” followed by “…Dr Jobbanni’s assistant, _______, will assist you with getting a brief medical history as well as assisting the doctor w/your care today…” And, the person providing cost estimates for further treatment never did state her name. First and last impressions (no pun intended) not so good.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Joobani and all the staff are friendly and kind and understanding. Dr. Joobani explains what he's doing and provides updates so you know how much longer it will be. I highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: He has done several crowns for me and they all work great. I went in with a crossbite and left with a straight smile. Doctor Joobbani figured out a way to eliminate a crossbite by sculpting a crown for the offending tooth!! Had a cleaning 4 months after the crowns mentioned above. New review now…Everything is working out fantastic. Cleaning went great and my teeth are solid. It’s easy to take your teeth for granted until you can’t eat right. No, I don’t get paid for review.
