Fantastic experience: i I'm gonna start with everybody was cool. biggest complaint was, they were booked on my days off. How dare other people have appointments? i came in with a problem. my old fillings got sucked out during surgery. it happens. they were like 20 years old or something. i grind my teeth. i bite ice cream. do you remember jawbreakers? it was bound to happen eventually. anyways the first apt was to get a read on how bad my face was. quick professional. set up the second appointment to get stuff fixed. there was an awful happenstance. they took care of it and got me set up for a root canal dude in Columbia same day. i go back to get the rest of it in a week. but i have a feeling everybody is still gonna be cool.

Fantastic experience: I had an excellent experience with Dr. Muneer and her dental assistant, Timeka. From the moment I walked in, they provided outstanding service and made me feel completely comfortable throughout my appointment. They were patient, understanding, and never made me feel judged, even though I hadn’t been to the dentist in quite some time and was a little nervous about it. The atmosphere was amazing too — the music playlist was so good I almost had to stop myself from dancing in the chair. It really helped lighten the mood and made the entire visit feel relaxing and welcoming. I truly appreciate the kindness and professionalism they showed me, and I highly recommend this dental office to anyone looking for compassionate and high-quality dental care.

Fantastic experience: In for basic cleaning , no xrays, or exam. But my hygienist, Tiffany, notice something of concern. Thank to her diligence she caught a cavity that is being addressed now instead of when it becomes a problem.

Fantastic experience: We were there today for the first time. Our son had to have a baby tooth pulled and he was so scared. The entire office from the staff to the Doctor were amazing. They were so patient with him. The Doctor and hygienist were fantastic talking him through the procedure. We will definitely be returning!

Positive experience: I went here to get a cleaning done and whoever my hygienist was (I don’t remember her a name) was a mess. Very passive aggressive and very heavy handed. She made my gums bleed excessively and then blamed it on me, mind you I brush twice a day and floss everyday. My gums were bleeding because she was scraping the hell out of them. Intentionally hurting me. She also tried showing me the “C-shape method” for flossing my teeth as if I don’t already know that. And then when she flossed my teeth she didn’t even use that method, she just snapped the floss in between my teeth up and down (hurting my gums even more). She was so heavy handed it’s crazy. Then at the end (AFTER she finished cleaning my teeth) she proceeds to ask me if I wanted her to use fluoride. Is this not something you should ask BEFORE you start? If I go back here I would not want her cleaning my teeth again. When I came in again to get a filling and a night guard done I was a bit confused about my x-rays and I thought they were going to fill in a tooth they had shown me was chipped because of grinding and I asked the assistant who then went to Dr. Cooper to ask for clarification. Dr. Cooper came in and didn’t even greet me and was very passive aggressive, when I was just a little confused about what was being done. Definitely did not like the response from her. Besides that my experience here was okay. Glinda and Latrice were very nice!

Positive experience: They left a cotton log in my mouth after the fillings and I didn't notice because of my numb mouth until an hour or so later. Then on my follow up appointment I showed up 15 minutes early to be told they didn't have time for me after waiting over an hour. Edit: They called to apologize as the waiting was due to an emergency procedure from the previous patient. They were also attentive to any concerns i had with the work done. Both Dr.Cooper and the assistant were apologetic and very professional. They even offered a starbucks gift card as a form of apology.

Fantastic experience: Normally I get pretty anxious about dental things (medical stuff in general), but just after an initial examination with the team I'm feeling anxiety free. Glenda was an absolute wizard with x-rays and photos, Dr. Cooper broke down everything clearly and answered any questions I had before I even had the chance to ask them, and then Latrice was friendly and easy to talk to about scheduling and insurance. Happy to have found these guys and am beyond relieved to feel like I'm in good hands!

Fantastic experience: This was my first time to this dentist. I was very impressed with the first two ladies at the front desk. I inadvertently overbooked myself today. They were gracious enough to allow me to move my appointment back. Crystal informed me what to look forward too. Dr.Vickie Cooper and Latrice later explained the procedure and estimate of time in what Dr. Cooper felt that needed to be done. I am a little fearful about dental work but since it must be done…I will try and be a good soldier about it…and come back .

Fantastic experience: Never felt this good writing a review considering the extremely outstanding service I got back in May/2023 and now fast forward to today again. Dr. Rita (Hygienist) is simply the real deal. She was extremely patient, educative, professional and dedicated to providing nothing short of the very best. I’ve never considered having a permanent dentist considering how difficult it can be to get an appointment…..but with Dr. Rita, I’ll wait as long as it takes to have her treat me. It’s feels really good to have this much confidence as the entire staff at Laurel Smiles will stop at nothing to put a good smile on your face. You guys absolutely ROCK!!!!

Fantastic experience: We drive close to an hour to go to Laurel Smiles, which was recommended to me and my husband by my sister, who has since passed away. Dr. Connor, an excellent doctor and a very polite professional, now runs this dental practice (which used to be Dr. Friedman’s, prior to his retirement). The office worker who helped us today, Latrice, was courteous and went out of her way to make our visit a pleasant one.

Fantastic experience: First things first: Dr. Cooper 10/10 do recommend. I am always annoyed when I go to a doctors office and they don’t explain anything! Not only does she explain things, she and the hygienist (ugh I can’t remember their names) make sure you are comfortable. Another reason why black doctors are important in medicine. She never got offended at my questions and was happy to inform me about the procedures being done on my teeth. I also appreciated her getting to know her on a personal level I asked her a random question that ignited a conversation I truly appreciated. I literally want to be her friend when I’m not her patient anyway cause you know ethics LOL. Overall the atmosphere is welcoming from the front desk to the hygienists. Everything is clean and the energy feels good. Thank you Dr. Cooper and team for getting me right! I’m coming back for another review so the hygienists can get their reward for my review and it should be a raise LOL
