Positive experience: Twice in one year Dr. Dale McNutt was not available to examine me at my appointment. It turns out that McNutt had other priorities that did not include a commitment to this clinic or its community. In pursuit of "new opportunities", he left things in the lurch at this clinic. His treatment of the staff & patients seems indefensible. Let's hope the new dentists at LOS will be an improvement. Remember the days when business owners believed they had obligations to employees & customers? Time to bring that ethic back at LOS. If the musical chairs continues for another cycle, I'll seek a different provider.

Fantastic experience: It was a bit unsettling. Will need to meet the new owners to see how it goes. I really like the hygienist and would not want to move, but it will swing on the new dentists.

Fantastic experience: Very clean and a welcoming atmosphere. Everyone is extremely pleasant and genuinely happy. Dr. McNutt does a wonderful job of ensuring the atmosphere is conducive to calm even the most frightened client. The dental hygienist is so gentle and very sensitive to how the person in her chair is feeling. Dr. McNutt is very thorough and strives for perfection when doing reconstructions. You're happiness is his number one priority; narrowly edging out proper functionality. I highly recommend Dr.McNutt and his exceptional staff for all of your dental needs.

Fantastic experience: So happy that they were able to squeeze me in this week. I started having issues, as it turns out an infection at the root of a tooth. However, we were leaving on a European vacation and it came up a week before we were leaving, of course! Dr. McNutt diagnosed and gave me antibiotics for the trip. What a lifesaver!!

Fantastic experience: I've been going here for awhile now, since before Dr. McNutt took over the practice. It was good then, it's even better now. Not that speed should be the defining metric for a dentist, but let's face it, who wants to sit in that chair all day? I got two old fillings replaced today and was in and out in less than 40 minutes. The staff, including the dentist himself, are all super friendly and helpful.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Dale and his team are excellent. They value my time and seem to run a very efficient office. The care I received was also excellent. Professionals ask before taking action and explain what they are going to do before they do it. The office is well lit and feels very friendly. There is often laughter in the air- and not just because of the laughing gas! I highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Lake Oswego Smiles enough! Everyone from the office staff to the hygienists are so amazing, friendly, and knowledgeable! And Dr. McNutt is an absolutely phenomenal human being!!! After a previous bad experience with a different dentist left me afraid and ashamed to seek treatment I stumbled across Dr. McNutt and his team and am slowly finding the dentist to be a decent experience again. While the dentist is not everyone’s favorite place everyone in the practice has so much patience and understanding and they never make you feel judged or ashamed, they truly want the best for their patients. They do everything the can to make sure their patients are relaxed, comfortable, and that they actually feel encouraged to come back without fear or apprehension. Dr. McNutt has been a godsend for me with his approach to care and, not to be cliche but, I would give him 500 stars if I could! He is very kind, compassionate, understanding, generous, and you can tell his staff feel the same way by the way they talk about him as well. If we all had dentists that were like Dr. McNutt and his staff I am convinced we would all LOVE going to the dentist! If you are out there in pain and needing work done and/or looking for a dentist this is the place for you!

I went in for an exam for an implant that was done in California that needs a crown and we ended up taking a look at all my teeth and coming up with a plan to take care of all that needs to get done. Dr. McNutt was professional, kind and knowledgable. I highly recommend visiting their office!

Negative experience: Worst dental visit I've ever had. The whole staff was rude and insincere. Dr. Mcnut couldnt use proper English to explain the procedure he was wanting to perform. Was made very uncomfortable with his unprofessionanalism and decided against his treatment. Was then charged extensively for his 5 minutes. I am abhauled by this experience. Update: I was able to see another dentist who was able to save my tooth without the Suggested root canal that was advised by this guy. Get a second opinion!
