Platt Dental Studio

Fantastic experience: Great experience. Friendly, professional and thoughtful.

Fantastic experience: One of the best dental experiences of my life! The staff is wonderful and Dr. Kristi is very gentle.

Fantastic experience: Great staff, wonderful equipment and delightful dentist. What more can you ask for.

Fantastic experience: At Platt, my wife and I finally found an ethical, professional and most importantly, non-corporate dentistry practice here in Asheville. Neither of us received a sales pitch or marketing plan approach to our respective dental needs. We received care from caregivers… it’s what both of us had from our former dentists. It’s what we demanded from the dentists we’d visited since moving to Asheville and only, finally received from Platt Dental Studio. Expect to be treated as if your personal dental care is THE primary focus of treatment without any sales goals or performance bonuses attached to each tooth.

Fantastic experience: I really appreciate Platt Dental and want to thank my hygienist Sarah for a wonderful cleaning today.

Fantastic experience: The BEST dentist in Asheville! And possibly anywhere. Staff is awesome. They take you right in, no waiting for them to call you back.

Fantastic experience: Couldn’t be happier. My appointment started on time with Dr Platt and the work was finished within a half hour, she was great, as was her assistant Eugene. I would highly recommend her.

Fantastic experience: Dr Platt and HER ENTIRE TEAM are everything I hoped for and more!! -I had not been to a dentist since I moved out of my hometown (over 6yrs ago) and so I needed everything from minor work (teeth cleanings) to major work (root canals/crowns) done. -I’ve only ever had one dentist work on my teeth my entire life so when I moved here to Asheville, finding a dentist like the one I’ve always had was a tremendous worry of mine, especially when needing them for major work. -Dr Platt and her entire team have BY FAR lived up to my hopes and expectations!!! I could not be any happier with all my results. I’m beyond grateful to have found yall for ALL my dentist work so thank yall sooo much!!!

Fantastic experience: I received exceptional care at my appointment. The entire staff was kind and patient and Dr. Kristi Platt was wonderful. Professional atmosphere and the office was very clean. Hunter and Eugene were also very kind and helpful.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic. Dentist knows how to give a shot with no pain. Crown work was fast. She explained all the steps. I’m glad she is my dentist!! Yet again. Great service on 4/7 Excellent cleaning and service on 6/23

Fantastic experience: Great experience as always! Their technology makes cleanings fast, effective, and enjoyable! Thank you so much!

Fantastic experience: Wonderful staff, Hunter, and hygienist, Sarah. Dr. Platt took some time to get to know me, know her and I felt good about my initial visit. My wife is coming next week. Thank you again for opening your practice to my family.

Fantastic experience: Never thought I would love a dental experience, but Platt Dental Studio makes the visit very pleasant. Highly highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: This was my visit to Platt Dental and I was very impressed! Everyone was friendly, pleasant and very professional. Everything was thoroughly explained and I felt relaxed for the entire visit. Dr. Platt gave a very thorough exam and again explained everything. The office is very nice, quiet and relaxing. As a 68 year old retired RN, I have been to a lot of dentists and highly recommend Platt Dental Studio.

Fantastic experience: I love being a patient at this establishment ! Everyone is so kind professional patient and friendly Great experience again and I look forward to seeing them again! Thank you Dr Platt and all staff!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic dental practice with wonderful, caring staff, and a super cute office dog.

Fantastic experience: The owner along with all the staff are kind and respectful plus I love the hygienist because she is very thorough.

Fantastic experience: Dr Platt and her staff are friendly and professional. I drive from Brevard to get my dental work done because I have not found any dentist or dental practice that matches Platt Dental, she is the best.

Fantastic experience: I am so thankful to have Dr Platt and her staff to attend to my dental needs. I’m pleased with their compassionate expertise and for making me feel comfortable during and after treatment.

Fantastic experience: Personalized service at this boutique, urban studio. Loved the attention from the first phone call with Nikki to the examination where Dr. Kristi and her knowledgeable assistant Eugene were ready and waiting for me, although I arrived early. Latest technology of full-jaw 3-D imagery that distinguished bone, flesh, teeth, crowns…and in my case infection. I highly recommend this professional staff for your front-line dental needs.

Fantastic experience: From the moment I stepped into the front door there was a sense of a warm friendly welcoming attitude. Hunter greeted me with great big smile and set me at ease, as much as is possible going in “To visit the dentist”. My name is Betty Hoof, I am 87 years old, and have always taken good care of my teeth. This was my first visit, and the hygienist Nicole did the best job of cleaning my teeth I have ever experienced. We had an outstanding relationship with our former dentist and staff, but when we changed insurance plans our former dentist was not in our insurance network and the Platt dental studio was. You will not find a more knowledgeable and caring staff. My time spent with Dr Kristi was a joyful experience, and I would highly recommend the Platt dental studio to anyone looking for a dentist. Blessings, Betty Hood

Fantastic experience: This team is the absolute best! Caring and professional with a comfortable vibe. Great care without any pressure for unnecessary procedures. If you are looking for the perfect place to take care of your smile, look no further!!

Her team consists of 4 individuals that are capable, efficient and friendly. The office is conveniently located and the equipment is modern. I would recommend Platt Dental Studio.

Fantastic experience: Fun, fast, got a toothbrush! I'd add photos but mystery is half the fun, go take your own.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Platt and her staff are excellent the most thorough exam I’ve ever had

Fantastic experience: Platt Dental Studio in Asheville has a truly stellar reputation for creating that “painless and calm” experience—and they absolutely live up to it. Dr. Kristi Platt is professional, thorough, and exactly the kind of dentist everyone hopes to find. From the moment you walk in, the whole team makes you feel like they genuinely understand the care in healthcare. And having a hygienist like Nicole—both gentle and extremely thorough—is like finding a needle in a haystack. It’s rare to leave a dentist’s chair feeling that good, but that’s exactly what happened. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Conscientious Dentistry, WOW! I’ve never in my 73 years experienced a dentist at this level of comfort and efficiency. Dr. Platt’s Hygienist team and her dental assistant worked together like they were one mind! I had decided to get a second opinion on my last dentist appointment that recommended 8 crowns! She was able to repair 2-teeth immediately with fillings and created a dental plan for others. I’ve come to realize the most important aspect of long life and health is care of my teeth!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Platt and her entire staff are professional, kind, and efficient! Dr. Platt just put composite fillings on two molars with recession ... and they turned out great! I can't recommend her practice highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Great visit. Friendly staff, they got me in quickly. Dr Platt understood my problem and fixed it.Really good experience.

Fantastic experience: If you have anxiety of going to the dentist—THIS IS THE OFFICE FOR YOU!! Dr. Platt exudes empathy and compassion. Her staff is just as wonderful, too. They came highly recommended to me in by medical colleagues and it has changed my life and my health. So happy I no longer have any anxiety about dental appointments, even if the procedure will be invasive. I know I am in caring hands!

Fantastic experience: Super particular of the Dentist professional for my teeth, i look for someone with skills in knowledge, human care and understanding, wisdom in building a staff of the same, and just a willingness to offer preventive care, patience for my questions, and general conversation. Platt Dental offers all these things with a great competency and energy to file insurance claims to boot! We highly recommend Platt Dental & crew.

Fantastic experience: I had a crown put on a back molar after a root canal and Kristi Platt did an excellent job! She listened and answered all my questions and the whole process went quickly and smoothly. It was one of the best dental experiences I've ever had and very professional. I highly recommend Platt Dental Studio!

Fantastic experience: Had a crown come off and they worked me in last minute. Wonderful staff, very personal and professional. Highly Recommend!

Fantastic experience: This is where you should be going. On time and a very pleasant environment. Great cleaning from Nikki and plenty of time with Dr Platt to discuss oral health.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Platt and Nikki, the hygienist, and Eugene have fantastic touch! Just completed major dental work, including work on a 15 year old implant (work done by dentist in Phoenix). Dr. Platt was tenacious in helping to get my implant settled down. Really appreciated her touch and commitment to find the best resolution for the issue which worked! So happy to have found them and look forward to their care for next appointments!

Fantastic experience: This practice is utterly professional, without sacrificing warmth or individual attention. You'll feel like you are in excellent hands from the moment you call. Appointments are scheduled in such a way that nothing feels rushed. Very glad to have found the practice.

Fantastic experience: Our whole band loves Platt!! Thank you for making us proud of our smiles!

Fantastic experience: Kristi and her team are amazing. They are kind, patient, and incredibly professional. I always feel comfortable and well taken care of.

Fantastic experience: I think everyone struggles with going to a dentist regularly - but Dr. Platt and her team really make it an easy and caring experience. The office is clean and neatly designed. The front desk team is friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The care from all the team is top notch. My teeth are healthy and I no longer dread following up on my dental appointments. Thank you so much to Dr. Platt and her team - you all are amazing! Couldn’t recommend you al enough.

Fantastic experience: I've been lucky to have good dentists, but Platt Dental excels. They are warm and welcoming - easy to speak and work with - and good at what they do. Dr. Platt and staff genuinely care about me (and I'm sure all other patients). If you go there, you know this - if not, give them a try.

Fantastic experience: As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with happy faces and kindness. They ensured I found adequate parking and that I was checked in appropriately. The staff was very informative and kind and worked with me and my anxiety. There was no long wait and if I forgot to mention i found the office welcoming, very clean and just comfortable and beautiful

Fantastic experience: Such a comfortable ambience! Not a word I usually associate with dentists! Dr.Platt made it so easy to discuss my needs and history I left feeling all my dental issues, concerns, and resistances were resolved.

Fantastic experience: Simply put (which is unlike my normal voluminous reviews), my first couple of visits to Platt Dental have been the most pleasant dental visits I’ve ever had. Super friendly staff, very nice office space, no stress.

Fantastic experience: Excellent experience at Dr Platt’s. Her staff is very professional and personable. I was taken back quickly and my cleaning was great. They are very detailed in all their assessments and explained every part of their observations. Would highly recommend this practice to others.

Fantastic experience: Very professional and kind. Extremely good explanation of situation and great focus on future care plans. Front desk staff outstanding and willing to do the leg work for all insurance issues. Dr Platt was very kind and detailed as to my situation. I would recommend this practice to anyone looking for expert dental care 11/25/25 Had a crown done today. Once again the professionalism of Platt Dental Studio is EXCELLENT. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable from every perspective. I would say if you can do whatever possible to become a parkene of this outstanding Dental service.

Fantastic experience: Wow, I am super happy that I changed to this dentist. I was at another well regarded large practice in town that started feeling impersonal because of its size. Dr Platt and whole staff made me feel right at home with an attentive and caring vibe! Highly recommended

Positive experience: I have a lot of trauma related to dental procedures and experiences ranging from childhood and into my adult years. The staff here, especially Nikki, were top notch. They were comforting and understanding. They also seem pretty transparent regarding not only treatment plans, but the costs and insurance coverages, etc. I was very pleased with my experience.

Fantastic experience: I moved to the area last year and am so happy that I found Platt Dental! Dr Platt & every single one of her staff is just amazing! I have received the highest quality service and everyone is so kind, friendly, and helpful. I would highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Platt and the entire team at Platt dental studio are EXCEPTIONAL! They are very thorough and gentle to say the least. I came in with a tooth ache and left with a smile!

Fantastic experience: I am so glad we found this dental practice. Everyone is so kind and friendly and I feel like I get some of the best dental care I’ve ever had.

Fantastic experience: People usually dread the Dentist but here you don't have too. They go above and beyond as soon as you walk in. They all are a pleasure. Thanks to all of you Pam

Fantastic experience: Just moved to the area and needed a crown. Dr.Platt and her team are amazing. Very gentle procedure. Great hands obviously needed to do this. Very lucky to find a great dentist. Offices are contemporary, tall ceilings and open feeling. Cigna in network . And she's a veteran. Great to support veteran owned businesses.

Fantastic experience: I don’t usually leave reviews, but Platte Dental truly deserves it. The entire team is friendly, professional, and made me feel comfortable from start to finish. They’re great at what they do and genuinely care about their patients. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: welcoming and friendly staff. they go the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable and are very thorough with explaining procedures and provide estimate of cost upfront. the waiting area is relaxing, as they have a lot of natural sunlight coming in. staff will dim the treatment room and offer sunglasses if necessary. non judgmental at all and helped me get my teeth and gums back on track. I actually look forward to my visits there. I’m very lucky and blessed to have found such a wonderful place.

Fantastic experience: Very kind and gentle and equipped with all the latest tech, giving top quality care! Nice and modern office with a relaxing atmosphere. Everyone on staff is so pleasant and gracious, you’ll enjoy your visits here.

Fantastic experience: Everyone here is so incredibly kind. I’ve never had such a pleasant experience at a dentist office. They’ve helped me get right with issues I was having and never made me feel badly about it. They made sure I was comfortable and pain free. I highly recommend this office and their amazing staff!

Fantastic experience: I can't believe I'm writing a glowing review for a dental studio, but this place is just that good. I've been to MANY dentists over the years and the experiences have ranged anywhere from unmemorable to traumatic. This place, dare I say, makes me look forward to my bi-yearly cleanings?? I'm also surprised. I live about 20 minutes away from the studio and have more convenient options nearby, but I gladly put up with the commute for the level of care and service I receive here. Firstly, the studio is clean, modern, and welcoming. Secondly, Nikki the hygienist, is an absolute DELIGHT. You can tell she really loves working there and we've had some great chats. She's super gentle and I never leave feeling like someone punched me in the mouth (an experience I've had too often at other practices). I've also never been pushed to shell out $$$ for unnecessary dental work and Dr. Platt is thorough in her exams. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: The absolute best dentist I’ve ever been to hands down. The most friendly team and Dr Platt is amazing. If I could rate 10 stars I would!

Fantastic experience: The best dentist around. Clean office, the staff is the best, and Dr Platt is truly a professional badass!

Fantastic experience: We had a wonderful experience at Platt Dental as always. Kind and helpful staff and very knowledgable. Dr Platt has a gorgeous spa like office that helps making a trip to the dentist very relaxing. Thank you Dr Platt and Staff !!

Negative experience: Great dentist, or so I thought! Everything was fine until one of their incompetent people filed my insurance claim under my old number instead of my new number. Dr Platt tried to tell me that I owed that money. I kept telling her no I don't, please refile it with the correct number and you'll see. It was either the 3rd or 4th time they filed it and got it right. In the meantime, she stopped answering my calls and wouldn't answer my texts. I got on a different insurance for the month of June; called and left a message and sent a text. They didn't even have the common courtesy to answer me. I do not recommend anyone to go here. Unless you've got beaucoup bucks and you're paying cash. The charges on the bills were $300 for a cavity filling. That's just plain ridiculous! They're super nice to your face and then turn around and stab you in the back.

Fantastic experience: I have not been to a dentist in 20 years and I was very nervous. From the time I made my appointment the staff was very friendly and reassuring I would be made comfortable. Nikki and Dr Platt were amazing. I never felt uncomfortable or embarrassed the entire visit. I found my new home. I can’t wait for my next visit. Thank you for everything.

Fantastic experience: They are so gentle, have the newest technology and are the most pleasant dentist and staff I’ve ever been to. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: I went for my first appointment. Dr. Platt and her staff were very friendly, thorough, and attentive. My kids have been going to them for over a year now as well.

Fantastic experience: I can truly say Dr. Platt’s office has changed my outlook on going to the dentist. Growing up with cavity prone teeth has always left me feeling defeated, but Dr. Platt and her team have been so kind and have never once made me feel judged, and it really feels like they’re working with me to find solutions. I cannot recommend them enough!

Fantastic experience: 3/2/25 was my first visit to this beautiful dental office. It’s very modern and equipped with top of the line equipment. The front desk person was very helpful and kind. Eugene, my hygienist, was very friendly and knowledgeable. Dr Platt is very professional and also knowledgeable, understanding and gave excellent advice. I am very happy I switched to Platt Dental Studio. 5/8/25 was my second visit to Platt Dental Studio. The hygienist was outstanding, thorough and professional. Dr Platt is very personable and conscientious. The front desk staff is wonderful too! I highly recommend this dental office.

Fantastic experience: What a wonderful dentistry! Staff is friendly, does their job with precision and efficiency, out of pocket cost estimates provided prior to services with no surprises. Love the atmosphere and mostly, sweet doggy June ♥️

Fantastic experience: Doctor Platt and all of the staff are unparalleled !! I have been to a few dentists and this practice is, by far, the best I’ve been.

Fantastic experience: I love the vibe of the space. Everyone is so friendly. Nikki was my hygienist and she was amazing! I tend to have tender gums and I was never in discomfort when she cleaned my teeth. I would go as far to say it was the best teeth cleaning I have had. Dr. Platt was very thorough and very knowledgeable. I’m very happy to have switched to Platt Dental Studio!

Fantastic experience: Had an amazing first appointment at Platt Dental. Beautiful office, state-of-the-art equipment, and the friendliest and most professional staff. I feel lucky to have found them and highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Great staff and owner. They instinctively recognized my anxiety over visiting the dentist and put me at ease. It had been a while since my last visit to a dentist but to my surprise, it was absolutely painless.

Fantastic experience: Today was my second time at Platt Dental Studio. Let’s be honest, going to the dentist is not fun, but Dr. Platt and her entire team are so gentle, communicative and honest. In the past I’ve been to dentists and hygienists who do things their way without thinking twice about how anxious and painful it is for the patient. Dr. Platt and her team check-in frequently to make sure you’re comfortable as possible the entire time. I can’t express enough how great they are

Fantastic experience: beautiful office and super sweet staff! Nikki was great, enjoyed my first visit and can’t wait for my next appointment!

Fantastic experience: Best dentist ever. Everyone in her office is professional and friendly. Dr Platt is gentle and I’ve never had any pain during a procedure with her. They are also efficient and fast and on time.

Fantastic experience: I have had a great experience as a patient at Platt! It is a relaxing atmosphere and everyone is very kind and friendly. I appreciate the easy, free parking and I highly recommend this dental office.

Fantastic experience: They always take excellent care of me and work with me and my schedule with ease. One of the best dental practices I've ever been to.

Positive experience: Not exactly my best experience with a dentist. My partner went in with a broken and infected tooth. They did ex-rays and supposedly sent the ex-rays and a referral to an Endodontist, but the Endodontist never received either. The Endodontist had to call Platt couple of times to get them to finally send them the information, and even then, the referral was only for an evaluation (which Platt had already done and was the whole reason for the referral in the first place). It's been a very frustrating experience.

Fantastic experience: A really excellent dentist. In the on-going saga to get my lower partial to fit correctly, Dr. Platt and her team have gone above and beyond in their efforts. I appreciate their dedication and their willingness to work with me to resolve this.

Fantastic experience: I never thought I would be leaving a review of a dental office, but adult hood comes swiftly. I just can’t really say enough positive things about Dr. Platt, Nikki and just the whole team. Nikki does amazing cleanings, her self proclaimed dedication to getting every bit of tartar really makes me feel cared for. Dr. Platt is so gentle and truly a sweet woman. So caring and mindful of her energy in a room with someone. I’ll share a story- I recently scheduled an amalgam removal and I was feeling some anxiety about that since they don’t do the whole “smart procedure” at her office and we discussed this but after my own research I made the call that I trust Dr. Platt to give me good care. And in- between the time we determined I needed a replacement and making the appointment, Dr. Platt did step the safety up and got dental dams for the procedure. Which I never asked her to do, but she’s just that awesome of a dentist and human. Willing to make changes, wanting her people to be comfortable, and really actively listening to them. I give Platt Dental 5/5, more if I could. So if you want top notch care, some laughs when you go in, and the BEST dentist I have ever encountered, this is your place.

Fantastic experience: Love my new dentist, Dr. Platt!! So glad that I found her! Her entire team is so much fun…never have I enjoyed going to the dentist until now Her, her assistant, Eugene, and entire admin staff are all wonderful and clearly love their job!! Bonus, they take my Cigna insurance as well!

Fantastic experience: I love my new Dentist office!!! It’s so clean, and nice!!! The team is also so helpful, made me feel comfortable, and answered all of my questions!! I highly recommend Platt Dental to anyone looking for a great experience when going to the dentist!!!

Fantastic experience: Great experience! Everyone was so kind & helpful. Nicki was extremely thorough and explained every process of the cleaning & examination. Dr. Platt completed the exam and answered all my questions and never made me feel rushed (which is very nice). Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Alexis the receptionist / dental assist and Dr Platt were very nice , thorough about work needed to be done on teeth. Dr. Platt answered all questions i had. I was not judged because of my dental work that needs to be done. I have a follow up to continue my dental care with Dr Platt

Fantastic experience: “I’ve always had such positive experiences at Dr. Platt’s dental office! The entire staff is friendly and professional, and the hygienist is exceptionally thorough and attentive. I Highly recommend Dr. Platt’s office for anyone looking for excellent care!”

Fantastic experience: I am so glad to have found a dentist where I feel safe, seen and comfortable The dentist and assistants were sincere, caring and supportive while expressing my emotions during my visit. I have big emotions around my teeth and dental work and I am very grateful they took such great care of me!

Fantastic experience: Dr Platt and her staff were excellent. Great service, quick and quality work. She was able to fit me it when I had some pain from a cracked filling quickly.

Fantastic experience: I recently moved to Asheville and needed a dentist for routine cleanings. I'm so glad my insurance listed this office. The waiting area was comfortable with a nice street view. The staff was friendly and did not keep me waiting. I felt very satisfied with the cleaning and interaction with the hygienist and and consultation with the doctor. I highly recommend Platt Dental Studio.

Fantastic experience: Awesome! Best dental office and doctor. So polite. They know how to be gentle and get the work done fast and right the first time. Will try to save your tooth too unlike others who want to do thousand dollar work on you.

Fantastic experience: Only ever had great expériences out of this practice. I was spoiled by my last dentist so was dreading the change. So happy to have found Dr. Platt and her staff.

Fantastic experience: Since moving back to the Asheville area, my family and I were in need of a dental appointment. My wife and I had an appointment today with Platt Dental Studio and we had a wonderful and pleasant experience from the moment we walked into the office until it was time to leave. Dr Platt and her staff were extremely patient, kind and very knowledgeable. Nicole and Ashley, who cleaned our teeth, were super great and did a fantastic and awesome job.. Alexis, who works up front, was very friendly and greeted us with a smile. All in all, I would definitely highly recommend going to Dr Platt for all your dental needs.

Fantastic experience: Every person I encountered in the office was great. Dr. Platt is personable and compassionate. Her practice does an excellent job of filing insurance and providing full cost disclosure. It was a very positive experience. I am so fortunate and thankful to have discovered this office. I highly recommend to anyone! It’s an awesome dental practice - the best I have ever been to a lot of dentists.

Negative experience: I was there at the beginning of the year. I was seated for fillings but another doctor came in and saw me rather than the initial doctor who had seen me. For someone with dental anxiety and trust issues , i was extremely upset with the miscommunication. Overall a beautiful office

Fantastic experience: I have been looking for a dentist for a while since moving to Asheville. I have never enjoyed going to the dentist. That has now changed.... this place is absolutely AMAZING! I had zero wait time when I arrived, the ladies at the front desk were so very sweet and helpful, and Eugene and Dr. Kristi were so nice and thoroughly explained everything that I needed to have done. The procedure did not take long, and I experienced no pain, even after the numbing medicine wore off. And to top it all off, I got to pet Dr. Kristi's sweet doggy before leaving! I 100000% recommend this place to any and everyone!

Fantastic experience: Dr Platt and her team are professional, kind, and friendly. They are patient and helpful making for a relaxing and overall positive experience.

Fantastic experience: It was the finest dental experience in my entire life and it will be yours too! I can say that with absolute confidence. Front desk booking, check in and scheduling fast and effortless. And so friendly. The dental assistant takes you through exam set up and X-ray like a walk in the park. 360 3D images - state of the art top notch technology! Dr Kristi listens attentively, pays attention to your immediate concerns. Talks you through a professional assessment of her inspection evaluation and recommends the best solution and treatment. I want to tell you this will be the very best dental care you will receive - ever!!
